[00:17] You are listening to The Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I am your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Friday. Good episode for you today. We're going to talk about the Temptation Island interviews, the ones from yesterday, the ones that are coming today. We got two more coming for you today. Also, Taylor Frankie Paul has deactivated her social media accounts. No Instagram account, no TikTok account anymore, at least for the time being because her sister explained what's going on. We'll talk about that. Another point I want to make about the Bailey Brown interview on She's All Batch in regards to Nick Viall since it made Us Weekly yesterday. I want to point something out that Us Weekly wrote, and then we're going to discuss a little bit of Love Trapped Episode 10, which was basically the Arizona's police department's raid on Laura Owen's house back in January of 2025, that most of us didn't know about until three months later, four months later, but to hear the footage. Now, this has been out there for a while, but to hear the footage again, I've got some thoughts. Let's get started. Yesterday, in podcast number 492, you got to hear from Scarlett Bentley and also from Summit Wallace and Kaylee Needham about their relationships in regards to what's going on, Temptation Island and post-show stuff. Now, yesterday, well, on Wednesday, on the Viall files, they did part one of the reunion show. In part one, one of the first things Nick did was ask all four couples, where do you stand now? Summit and Kaylee said, we're still together. Cole and Scarlett said, we are together. Sydney and Mikey said, we are not together, but we did start dating shortly after filming ended. And we dated for about three or four months. And Sydney basically said, Mikey hasn't changed. So I have recently reached out to Xavier and Xavier and I are working on things. And then Jack and Cheyenne said, we are not together. Now, at the time of this recording, part two hasn't come out yet. And in part one, after asking the four couples, what is their status right now, part one only focused on two couples, which was Summit and Kaylee went first, and then they spoke to Mikey and Sydney. And we got to hear their stories. You heard Summit and Kaylee on the podcast yesterday. I thought they were great. There's actually a couple that I'm openly rooting for. I think it'll suck if they break up. But I know couples break up all the time, especially in reality TV, especially when you have a public relationship. I know it can be tough. And I know it has been tough for Summit and Kaylee and stuff that we talked about on the podcast and some things that were talked about off air. It's been tough for them, for sure. But they are working things out. As you heard them say, the reason they haven't moved in together and gotten a dog is because they plan on moving to Southern California. So why move in to a new place in New York when you're going to leave, pack up and leave within the next six months? Probably with less than that. They want to move by this summer, according to Kaylee. So totally understandable there. But they seem very committed to each other. Scarlett and Cole, even though you didn't hear from Cole, Scarlett has made it very clear. I mean, I think the interesting thing, the most interesting thing to take from Scarlett's interview, was her saying, the clips that I saw at the bonfire, were not the clips that you guys were shown in the episodes, which I knew had happened in the past. I just hadn't heard a contestant say that in a while. But that's very interesting because, again, as a viewer, I feel a little bit misled. How can you not feel misled? She literally said, I'm watching the show back and seeing these clips that are being shown to the audience is like, that's not what I was shown. I was shown something completely different. I was shown Cole basically closing off, not talking to anybody. And that's not what I came to the island for. I didn't feel like he was growing. So they are happy. They got together pretty shortly after filming ended as well. And they've been together ever since. You heard Kaylee and Summit in the interview yesterday. They did the interview with me from Scarlet and Cole's place. They were just in the other room. So it looks like, I mean, my guess is Summit and Kaylee. She said, you know, I asked her, Orange County, San Diego, LA. Obviously Summit wants to be in San Diego because they have great beaches. And so does Orange County. Orange County's got Huntington Beach, Sunset Beach. They got great surfing places there. Hell, there's the Huntington Beach open every year in Huntington Beach. I grew up 10 minutes from Huntington Beach. They'd love it there. But looks like they're pretty set on San Diego and I can't blame them. So other than get ready for some serious cost of living. But then again, so is Orange County, especially the beach areas. But it makes sense for them to move to Southern California and then plan their life together. But yes, Scarlett and Cole doing a lot better. And so what's coming today? Well, I said I'm combining the singles interviews. I've got at 9:15 a.m. Eastern Time, on my YouTube channel and in your podcast feed, you are going to get my interview with Carter Aaron and Bradley Bobbitt. Carter was the one that was involved with Jack, Bradley was the one that was involved with Scarlett. Carter is very, very, I mean, she's exactly what you would expect, what you saw on the show, very forthcoming. However, she's very independent as well. So anybody that's like, oh my gosh, she's trying to steal Jack from Cheyenne or whatever. She's kind of basically the opposite. She knew going in to Temptation Island, she wanted nothing serious. Even when she was hooking up with Jack, she wanted nothing serious. She didn't care that Jack took a liking to Jaseña. She was cheering it on. Post show, she doesn't care what Jack does. If he wants to come to San Diego and hang out with her, she said, by all means, he can. So Carter's very much a free spirit. As you'll hear me say in the interview, she's made for reality TV. I told her this more than once during the interview. I'd be stunned if we never saw Carter on another reality show ever again. It's just she's exactly what they're looking for. She's good-looking, she's young, she has the sound bites. It's exactly what reality TV producers want. She will cause mess. She doesn't care. She'll say what she wants. No filter. Again, I'd be stunned. I don't know what show. The challenge maybe, maybe Perfect Match. Hell, maybe they bring her back for season three of Temptation Island. I don't know, but I can't not see her on reality TV again. Bradley talks more about the scarlet and coal relationship that we didn't see. That's going to be coming up 9:15 AM Eastern Time. Although my Patreon subscribers got it yesterday. It's been up on my Patreon for a few hours now at patreon.com/realitysteve. And then at 2:15 PM Eastern Time will be my interview, my combo interview with Xavier Odom and with Chris Helami. Xavier was the one that left the island with Sydney, and Chris Helami was the one who was involved with Kaylee. And Chris makes it known. Kaylee made it known very early on. She was never crossing a line with any of the guys. And he goes, but that didn't shut me off from being there for her, being a friend for her. And people just didn't see how close we got, but not close physically and not close as in, oh, I thought she was going to leave Summit for me. No, he was just like, we just got, I was her sounding board. And we knew what each other was going to say before we're going to say it. So a lot of things. And you get it, there's nine episodes, they're one hour each. They filmed in Hawaii for three weeks, basically 24 hours a day, you do the math. Literally, it's like someone actually did the math online. It's like 2% of what was filmed in Hawaii was actually shown on the show. So yeah, there's a lot of stuff. I think the bonfire clip stuff is very misleading. If you're showing them a clip, but then showing us something different, it just seems like, well, why would you do that? So but that's their TV show. If that's the way they want to do it, they can't. And then Xavier, basically, Xavier and Sydney have the same exact stories. Sydney said on part 1 of the reunion show, hey, I dated Mikey when I got back from filming for about three months and I realized he didn't change. And then I reached back out to Xavier thinking he probably is surprised to hear from me and let's see where it goes. And that's what Xavier says on the podcast. Yeah, I was kind of surprised to hear from her, but I was happy to hear from her. Xavier just seems like such a great guy, so laid back, doesn't seem to get riled up about anything. Even after they left the island together dating, he said, yeah. Then she went back to Mikey because she felt like she had some unfinished business with him. We kind of kept in touch, but then we didn't because then she started dating Mikey again. Then she reached back out to me recently and I asked, where are you guys at right now? Said, we're figuring things out. That's exactly what Sydney has said in all of her interviews. They're figuring stuff out. So it's good for them. But I think anybody that sees Sydney and Xavier together, they're like, man, they should date. After you listen to this interview with Xavier, I think you'll feel the same way. This podcast is brought to you by ZocDoc. You know that feeling when you walk out of a doctor's office and think, wow, they made me feel so much better. [13:29] Really interesting development yesterday on social media as late Wednesday night, maybe into early Thursday morning, yesterday morning. Taylor Frankie Paul just went off Instagram and TikTok. I don't think she deleted it. My guess is she just deactivated it because you can no longer pull her up. I mean, this is a woman that has over 2 million followers on Instagram, and I believe over 8 million now on TikTok. Maybe it's a dip under 8, maybe it's at 7. But for her to just go off Instagram was really interesting because she literally, ever since the April 7th hearing, or not even April 7th hearing, ever since the Draper Police Department in Utah decided not to press charges for the incidents stemming in 2024 and 2025, Taylor Frankie Paul was every day posting Bible quotes, talking about the fact that she was going to show her healing journey to everybody because she said we've seen all the negative stuff, now you're going to see her heal, and she basically was called out for it when people would say, why don't you just get off social media? And she said, basically he's told that person, no can do, that's not me, I share my life good or bad, which is fine, that's our prerogative. Then all of a sudden, she shuts off her social media. Her sister came to her defense, well not even came to her defense, but her sister posted, I'll speak for her, she just wants a break, it's been a lot for all of us. She is still welcomed on the show if she wants when she feels ready. That's what we talked about yesterday, in that production of season five of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is going to resume soon, but the stories are Taylor and Dakota are not part of it initially, meaning, look, there was no way she was never going to come back, because they have to at least get something from her, even if it's just not her with the other women, and just her in a confessional saying, this is my life now, I'm going to choose to go in a different direction, I'm not going to be on the show as much anymore, or whatever the case may be. But her sister basically said, it's been tough for everybody. It's still a weird message after Taylor has just been so insistent, the last couple of weeks or ever since the judge's decision came down to, not the judge's decision, but the Draper Police Department's decision to not press charges from 2024 and 2025, she has been posting almost non-stop, all positive stuff, nothing about her child, but just sharing how tough it's been for the last couple of years for her, and the statement that she released in regards to a new chapter in her life. Then all of a sudden, she's just like, yeah, I'm off social media. Her sister said, hey, she's off social media, but she just wants a break. Okay, I get it. She's allowed to take a break. It's just weird that she's taking a break when it would have made more sense if she was posting nothing on social media and then announced, you know what guys, I've decided to take a break. But she'll be back. I mean, social media is essentially Taylor Frankie Paul's life. She has to live on social media because it doesn't look like, I mean, again, we don't know for sure. We definitely know she's going to be back on Secret Lives in some capacity. My suggestion would be to never be a full-time participant on that show and just make occasional appearances. I don't know if she can do that. But when we heard season 5 was coming back and resuming filming, it never crossed my mind that she would never be on the show again. I just hope she's never on the show again as a full-time cast member. She can come on sometime when season 5 resumes filming to update everybody on where she is in her life and what has happened and all the craziness, whether it's in a confessional or sitting down with the other women, that's fine. But then after season 5, I think she needs to make a decision, is this the route I want to go? Personally, I don't think she should go that route anymore. She should stay off reality television and maybe just stick to social media. But I'm not her manager. She's certainly not going to listen to me. And I think she needs to do what's best for her family and her child. And I think she needs to heal herself. And she can't heal herself if she's constantly filming something. You can say what she wants like, oh yeah, but when I'm not filming, I'm working on myself. She needs to just get out of the spotlight. Because the spotlight does cause anxiety. It does cause stress, all things that she's talked about that she's went through. Hell, even social media. Every time she posts something now, of course, there are haters out there that are telling her, get off social media. Why don't you worry about your kid? Stuff like that. I mean, that's going to wear on you because you know, she listens and actually follows all of it. She knows what people are saying about her. So but anyway, her sister wanted to post that yesterday and said, she's just taking a break. It's been a lot for all of us. And she's welcomed on the show when she feels ready to come back, which doesn't surprise me at all. Going back to Nick Viall real quick, we talked about Bailey Brown going on the She's All Batch podcast the other day. And saying that Nick, something that Nick told her at the very beginning of the podcast really pissed her off and really upset her. Where he basically said, Oh, Bailey's here, Rachel Reckia is here. You guys both know what it's like to be second best to Suzy Evans. Bailey with Jeremy now, but remember Jeremy had a thing for Suzy and Bachelor in Paradise. And people thought that Bailey just took Jeremy back way too easily when he was basically pining over Suzy in that instance. And then Rachel Reckia obviously was on Clayton's season of The Bachelor. Clayton chose Suzy that season and didn't choose Rachel. So Nick made a comment about that right when she first came on. And she said that basically threw her off for the rest of the interview. And she basically bad mouthed him and said, this guy's then after the interview, he's saying like she didn't really give us any tea. She's like, why would I give you tea? You literally put me in an uncomfortable position to start the interview. Now, this did not make air. I did find that out. That did not make air. She's saying this happened. Her Wi-Fi sucked because she was out of the country when she filmed that interview. But she's saying it never made air, but she wanted to come on, She's All Batch podcast and say, this is what the guy told me, which is just another instance where somebody that went on Nick Viall's podcast is complaining about how he treated them. Shocker, I know. But the story made us weekly yesterday. At the very end of the story, it says something very simple, but it has me scratching my head. It says at the very end of the story, us weekly has reached out to Nick Viall for comment. Well, you and I both know he's not going to comment on this. But the fact that us weekly has reached out, there's no way that Nick Viall does not know that us weekly has reached out to him for a comment about this. Nick Viall is the same guy because I know for a fact, because the people from this particular organization would tell me, anytime they wrote a negative headline about Nick, they would immediately get a phone call from him. Basically, him getting mad at them and yelling at them and telling them, can you change your headline? Why does it have to be so negative about me? So I know for a fact, he knows that us weekly has commented or has asked him for a comment about this story that they posted, the Bailey story. He's not going to respond. We know this. But it gets me to thinking, okay, since we know Nick knows that us weekly wants a comment about what he said to Bailey Brown, doesn't that even make it worse that this guy's like, that is so beneath me, I'm not even going to dignify that with a response. I mean, that's basically what he's saying. I'm not going to respond to you because maybe he's going to hide behind the fact that there's no audio of that. I never said that. But again, how many times do people have to complain about something that Nick has posted? Even though this didn't make a post, is it really hard to believe that that's what he said? I don't. Not to mention, Susie is on the Viall Files Podcast as a contributor. I don't know if she's part of it every day, but I have seen enough clips where I know she's in studio with him. So is it really that surprising that he would basically be propping up Susie? Like, hey, Bailey's here, Rachel's here, both played second fiddle to Susie. It's not hard to believe at all. I believe Bailey when she says this. She's not going to make this up. But Nick, being Nick Viall, my guess is he's just going to hide behind the fact that nobody outside of him has the audio of that anywhere, and he's never going to release it. So the fact that they have reached out to him for comment, and he's not going to give them a comment, shows you once again how he thinks he's above everybody. Why not just say, you know what? I had no idea. You can even say, I don't remember saying that to Bailey, but if she says I did, then I must have, and I apologize for that. It's that simple. Why can't he just say that? Even if he doesn't remember saying that to her at the recording, just say that, oh, I had no idea. I made Bailey feel that way. That's terrible. I apologize. But he is going to ignore the fact that Us Weekly reached out to him, and he knows that Us Weekly has reached out to him. There's no way that he doesn't. There's no way that it's just like sitting in his inbox. He's like, oh, no, I had no idea. Oh, Us Weekly reached out to me? Oh, okay. No. He knows they've reached out to him. He knows exactly what they reached out to him for, and you're not going to get a comment from him on it. If you didn't get a comment from him after the Austin Crowell interview, when every single outlet was reporting this, as far as I know, only Us Weekly is reporting what Bailey said on She's All Batch. Austin Crowell interview was everywhere. Every single people, ew.com, Us Weekly all posted about it, not to mention numerous content creators were putting out video clips of it. If he didn't respond to that, he's not going to respond to one organization that is running with this story. That just shows you what type of guy he is.

[25:50] Finally, Love Trapped Episode 10 was released yesterday. A lot of it was the audio footage of the police raid. Not the raid, but the police. Yeah, I guess they raided the Owens Casita back in January of 2025 because Arizona investigators had a warrant to search her place. The warrant obviously ended up showing us a lot of stuff that some of the stuff that they found we didn't even know about. We suspected it, but we didn't know about. The video that I showed the other day on my YouTube channel of Laura sending me an email saying, Steve, here is a video of my dad touching my belly, but her face was cropped out of it. Well, investigators found that video and that video did have sound to it. When Laura sent it to me, it didn't have sound. You can hear Laura and her mother in the background, and that video was clearly her dad rubbing her sister's belly. Just think about this. Let's think about this logically. If she sends me a video and says, Steve, here is my dad rubbing my pregnant belly, and now it has been found on her computer by Arizona investigators, that video that she sent out to show people in her mind to prove to people that she was pregnant, because her dad was rubbing her belly is actually her dad rubbing her sister's belly. Again, this is the thing with Laura Owens. She's never had to answer for this in real time. She's never had to answer for this. She's going to have to answer for it on the stand. This does goes to trial, 1000%. They're going to say, you sent an email saying, this is me pregnant and my dad rubbing my belly. We have since found information and found evidence that that wasn't you in the video, Laura. That was your sister, Sarah. What do you have to say for yourself? That's what I mean. She has never had to answer in real time. When you listen to my video the other day on YouTube, that when you heard when I would respond to her, I'm like, Laura, if I just email you, you're just going to avoid the questions that I have. There are so many things that we have never heard Laura Owens have to answer for, because the only people that got to question her on anything were in the deposition, which we weren't a part of, and then the trial, which was in 2024. But we have found out so many things since then, and you would just want her to answer some of those questions. Laura, when you were at a pretrial hearing and said, Judge, can I stand up and show Clayton my belly that I'm pregnant? The judge said no. When you were pregnant that day, and you said you were 24 weeks pregnant at that hearing, and you stood up and touched your belly, where are those babies? Where did they go? You said, I am 24 weeks pregnant. It's a laundry list of stuff. I think the biggest thing that I took from the police raid and the body cam footage, and the audio from the body cam footage of the Arizona police was just how many times Laura, and she did it in her e-mails to me, if you watch the YouTube video. She speaks with such certainty on things that she has no idea about. She thinks that they can't come into her house at seven o'clock in the morning if they have a search warrant. And they're like, Laura, anytime between 630 in the morning and 10 o'clock at night, we're allowed to do this. And then she's screaming, no, you can't. Oh, this warrant doesn't say you can take my mom's phone. Laura, yes, it does. All you have to do is read it. I did read it. No, you didn't. You skimmed through it. Read it. It says it. That's what I mean. She just speaks like she knows the law, and she doesn't know shit about shit. And it's just, I mean, again, it's every time I listen to an episode of Love Trapped, it's infuriating because you realize how dangerous this woman is, and how confident and egotistical she is about things that she has no idea about. That was a very, very revealing interview for those that haven't watched the body cam footage video. Once we got it, about four months after it came out, it's been out there. I don't think I'd ever listen to that much of it. I'd listen to most of it. But I hadn't listened to 30 or 45 minutes of it before, like the Love Trapped podcast had. It's just, her defiance to authority? This is the police department. 12 of them come into your home at 7 AM, and you're basically not listening to a word they say, thinking you know that they can't come in at 7 AM. She even calls David Gingras and she's like, they're here and he's like, Laura, they're the police, let them do their job. Even he tells her, you're an idiot without saying that. He didn't call her an idiot, but you could tell even David Gingras was almost exasperated like, Laura, it's the police, you're really going to turn them away, not let them do their job, let them in the house. Just to hear it again, I had listened to the body cam footage in probably almost a year. So crazy, crazy stuff. Anyway, thank you all for listening. Really appreciate it. Follow me on Apple Podcasts. Also rate and review, but you got to hit play. It's the only way it counts as a download. Sports Daily coming up in an hour from now, 9 15 a.m. Eastern Time. You're going to get the interview with Carter Aaron and Bradley Bobbitt and then 2 15 p.m. Eastern Time on my YouTube channel and in your podcast feed. It is going to be my interview with Xavier Odom and Chris Tullami from Temptation Island. So look forward to that later on today. Again, thank you for listening everybody. Have a great weekend. Talk to you on Monday. See ya.
