[00:06] Hi, everyone, and welcome back to The Spirit Daughter Podcast. I'm Jill Wintersteen, AKA Spirit Daughter, and today I am talking about a major change happening in the astrological landscape that will affect the next seven years. Tomorrow, on April 25th, Uranus re-enters Gemini. Uranus is the planet of change, innovation and revolution. And this planet shakes up our collective consciousness. Wherever this planet touches, it creates change. And that change this time is going to be themed by Gemini. Uranus briefly entered Gemini last July, so we got a preview of this energy. And then in November, it's stationed retrograde and re-entered Taurus, where it had been for the last eight years. Now, that breather is over and Uranus is re-entering Gemini with full commitment until 2033. So this is a next seven-year chapter that is going to define the way we communicate, the way we use AI, and how we even think about the consciousness and the collective consciousness of the world. So let's dive into this. Uranus has spent the last eight years in Taurus. Taurus rules everything around money, finances, and also the earth. So we experienced some change in economics, including cryptocurrency. We also experienced change within food and wellness and how we even view food as a collective. Now that Uranus is entering Gemini, things are going to shift. Let's first talk about Uranus. Uranus is the planet of change and innovation. It was the first planet that was discovered by the telescope. Before then, we could only see planets with a naked eye. So we thought the solar system ended at Saturn. When Uranus was discovered, it shook up the science world and it also shook up astrology. Which sign was this new planet going to govern? They decided that Uranus would govern Aquarius. Before then, Aquarius had been governed by Saturn. And now I consider both Uranus and Saturn the rulers of Aquarius. But Uranus is the planet of change, also technology. And so when it touches anything, including when it transits a certain area of your chart, it creates change. And some of this change can feel like you're putting your finger into an electric socket, but it's always for good eventually. Uranus causes major breakthroughs and really can lead us forward into new eras collectively and personally. This is the planet that drives evolution and helps us progress forward as a collective society. Now let's talk about Gemini. Gemini, as you probably know, is an air sign. It's all about communication, how we exchange energy, technology and perspectives. Gemini reminds us that we are all connected. Even if we view the same thing differently, we still are connected. And so the lower side of Gemini can be separation. Gemini, the archetype of Gemini is the twins. And so when Gemini is in its low energy, the twins are feuding, they're separating, there's division. The higher side of Gemini, though, is understanding that every person on this planet offers a unique perspective, and that we can not understand things and still accept them. It's about holding curiosity instead of certainty. And knowing that sometimes, two truths can be valid at the same time. That's the high side of Gemini. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was from 1941 to 1949. Think about that period in time. That's when we were in the middle of World War II. That was also when televisions, that technology piece started entering the home. That's when the first computers were also created. That is when global communication shifted on a fundamental level. And now we're entering that same energy again. And I really feel that we're going to be centered within this Uranus and Gemini transit for the next seven years on AI. And it's going to be all about how we use AI, the future of education, and how we really trust the digital world. So that is all going to be up for debate. And AI is going to change the way we think, the way we use technology in ways we can't even imagine. And Uranus and Gemini is screaming that this is going to happen. Here we have the planet of change entering the sign of communication. So the way we communicate, the technology we use to communicate, and how we even interact with these things, the laws that govern them are all up for debate and all up for question. And so a lot of people have asked me if there's going to be war in 2026. I think the major war is going to be within the world of AI, and how we use it and how we govern it. Along with Uranus and Gemini, we also have Neptune and Aries. Neptune is all about visions, about ideals. Aries is about fighting. Aries is about fighting for what we believe in. Aries is about courage. Aries is a warrior spirit with Aries. So Neptune and Aries is all about standing in our visions, in what we think should happen, and how we hold our vision of humanity. So yes, there will be different groups with different visions on how we should move forward collectively with technology. And that's where there might be some debate. That's where there might be some disagreement. But again, Uranus causes change and disruption. It's the great disruptor, so that we can evolve. So yes, there might be some debate. Yes, there might be clashing of ideals. But in the end, there will be agreement and we will progress forward as a society. Because ultimately, that's what Uranus brings us, progression. Yes, it disrupts things. Yes, it may make us question everything that we know, especially around communication, education, technology. But eventually, all of these things will evolve for the better. And what's really interesting for those of us in the United States, is that Uranus was in Gemini when this country was founded. So if you look up the United States natal chart, because countries even have a birth chart as well, Uranus was in Gemini. And so America is in its Uranus return. Uranus is returning to the place it was when it was born. And so anytime any of us go through a Uranus return, which by the way happens every 84 years, because it takes 84 years for Uranus to orbit the sun. So every 84 years, right, there's a question about who are we? And so for America right now, America is facing those questions. Who are we? Do we still align with the principles that this country was founded on? Do we need to change things so that our core identity shifts, evolves and includes everything we've learned since this country was founded? And so America is going through its own revolution right now that is governed by Uranus and Gemini, where the very founding principles of this country are up for debate, they're up for question and they're up for evolution. Okay, so that's the collective energy. Now let's bring this home to you, because Uranus and Gemini is also going to affect you personally. Now it's important to know the house that is governed by Gemini in your chart. And so you can pull your chart at chart.spiritdaughter.com and you can look at which house is governed by Gemini. This is the area of your life, right? Houses rule areas of our lives. This is the area of your life where you will experience the most change. Because remember, Uranus changes anything it touches. So if it's landing in your 10th house, for instance, that's your house of career. This seven-year transit will reshape and redefine your career. And so look up which house is ruled for Gemini for you so that you can have a better understanding of where to expect some change. Overall, though, for all of us, this is a really great time to look at and evaluate, understand how we communicate with others and with ourselves. How do we take in information? How do we listen clearly? How do we speak clearly so that our words land? And what is our ongoing self-talk about? And so all of us have an ongoing narrative in our mind that plays over and over and over again. That is our default mode. It's the way we speak to ourselves. And so Uranus and Gemini is a time to change or update or up-level that self-talk. Because most of this self-talk is usually pretty negative. Our inner critic is so strong, and the things that we say to ourselves, we would never say to a friend. I challenge you to write down the majority of your thoughts. You won't be able to catch all of them, but the majority of your thoughts for a day and ask yourself, would I say this to anybody else and why am I saying it to myself? And so over the next seven years, Uranus and Gemini is an invitation to really look at and listen to yourself talk. Does it match your vision? Does it match what you want to manifest? Because we can only manifest what we tell ourselves as possible. So if we have an ongoing narrative that says, oh, I can't do this or that thing is not for people like me, or I'm not good enough, or I don't have enough credentials, or after this course, I'll do this, or once I get this success, I'll be happy. If we're running things like that over and over in our head, or maybe mantras that we've taken in from our childhood, like I always had one that was money is the root of all evil. If you're telling yourself that money is the root of all evil, do you really think you're going to be able to call in abundance? No. So you can write as many intentions as you want, as many visions as you want around calling in abundance. But if you have an ongoing negative narrative around money or finances, you're not going to be able to match that vision. You're going to sabotage yourself with your own thinking, with your own perspectives. We'll be right back after a quick break. So Uranus and Gemini becomes this time to catch ourselves, to understand these repeating phrases, this inner critic, and update it, to reinvent it, to write down the things we say to ourselves on repeat that are barely conscious and rewrite them, to create mantras, affirmations on sticky notes, and place them all over our house where we can see them so that we're reminded every day, I can change the way I'm communicating with myself. And Uranus and Gemini is there to support this change. It's also a great time to reframe situations, to change your mindset. Again, Gemini rules our perspectives. And so if you have a fixed mindset where you're like, okay, this happened and I can't change it. Yes, that's true. You can't change the past, but you can change the way you perceive it. You can view it from a different angle and find the lesson in the mistake instead of beating yourself up for making a mistake or making yourself feel terrible. You can find the lesson. You can say, hey, this is the way I grew. This is what I learned. This is who I became because of that so-called mistake. You can also take seemingly negative experiences and turn them into something positive. And so, for instance, maybe you're let go from your job. If you have a negative mindset around that, you might fall into a deep depression or you might say, oh, I'll never find another job or that was the one for me. I'll never be that good again. And you kind of just slide downward. Or you could say, hey, a door closed, I'm going to look for one that's open. I'm going to stop knocking on that closed door. Maybe I'll find a window instead. Maybe I should look at this not as rejection, but a reroute to something better. You feel the energy there. One is like heavy and low, and another one is uplifting and inspirational. So how can you inspire yourself instead of defeating yourself? Uranus and Gemini will help us understand how we can make those shifts in perspectives to find inspiration and to find things that really make us feel good about our lives instead of making us feel not that great. And so it's a time to work on our negative self-talk, our inner critic, so that it matches the identity that we want to have in our lives. We're always telling ourselves who we are. We want that to match our greater vision. It's also a time to reframe past experiences, to find the silver lining, to find the lessons, to find the growth, to find the evolution and be grateful for it. And then it's also time to shift mindsets. So this is the time to do work on entering more of a growth mindset instead of a fixed mindset. This is also the time to work on entering an abundant mindset and leaving behind a scarcity mindset to understand that the way you view things, your perspectives and what you expect shape your reality. The most important part about Uranus and Gemini is understanding there will be change. And you can either resist that change and grip on to old patterns, to old self-talk, to maybe old career positions, old relationships, old ways of being. And you could be pulled from it by force or you can lean into change. And so if something is changing in your life, ask yourself, okay, how can I go with the flow of this change? How can I find the highest perspective in this change? How can I lean into it and welcome it instead of being forced to let go of the old? How can I understand that maybe the old patterns weren't the best for me? Maybe they weren't the best for the people around me. So when you see change happening, ask yourself, okay, how can I use this for my highest evolution? And when you see change happening in the collective, because there will be plenty of change happening in the collective, including in the United States, ask yourself, how can I hold the vision for the highest energy of this change? Because this can be really important now, is to understand that not just our technology is changing, but our energy is changing as well, and how we interact and exchange energy with others is also changing. Uranus reminds us that we are energetic beings, and as part of its way of evolving us forward, it's helping us understand that our energy really does change and shape the energy around us. So think about that when you enter new rooms, when you're holding visions of your future, how is that rippling out from you? How is your frequency reshaping the spaces around you? What vision of society are you holding in its highest light? And that idea, that thought, that knowledge of our energy helping to shape all of the energy around us, will see us through this great time of change with Uranus and Gemini, which is shaking everything up in front of us.
