title You Are Not Manifesting What You Want — You Are Manifesting What You Are

description Most people who study the Law of Attraction still don't get the results they want, not because the law doesn't work, but because they're missing the ingredients nobody talks about. In this episode, Wayne Dyer, Sadhguru, and Les Brown each reveal a piece of the puzzle that most manifestation teachings skip entirely; from why belief alone isn't enough, to the role your environment plays in blocking or accelerating what you attract. Because here's what changes everything: it's not just what you think, it's what you're unconsciously transmitting.

Speaker 2:
[00:15] In order to become a manifester, someone who was able to attract and place into their lives what they place their attention on, there are certain, you know, we saw a lot about something called The Secret not too long ago, on all the newspapers and magazines and on the news and always. And I was asked to be a part of that and stayed away from it for different reasons. Because for me, manifesting is not about attracting what you want. Manifesting is an awareness and an understanding that you attract what you are. We do not manifest what we want. That comes from a place of missing. We manifest what we are. The angels who will guide you throughout your life will only be there for you when they recognize themselves in you. And they cannot recognize themselves in you and guide you when you are filled with hatred, anger, judgment, condemnation, bitterness, fear, anxiety, stress. You have to let all of that go and be loved. Be in this place a perfect divine love, love for everything and everyone on our planet. That's self-actualization at work.

Speaker 3:
[01:29] If you organize your mind to a certain level of organization, it in turn organizes the whole system, your body, your emotion, your energies, everything gets organized in the direction. Once all these four dimensions of you, your physical body, your mind, your emotion and the fundamental life energies are organized in one direction. Once you are like this, you can manifest what you want. If you organize these four dimensions in one direction and keep it unwavering in that direction for a certain period of time, right now the problem with your mind is every moment it is changing its direction. It is like you want to travel somewhere and every two steps if you keep changing your direction, the question of you reaching the destination is very remote unless it happens by chance. So organizing our minds and in turn organizing the whole system and these four basic dimensions of who you are right now in one direction, if you do this, anything that you wish will happen. So organizing our minds fundamentally means moving from a compulsive state of activity to a conscious state of activity. You might have heard of people for whom they asked for something and beyond all expectations it came true to true for them. Generally, this happens to people who are in faith. Now, let's say you want to build a house. If you start thinking, oh, I want to build a house. To build a house, I need 50 lakhs, but I have only 50 rupees in my pocket. Not possible, not possible, not possible. The moment you say not possible, you're also saying I don't want it. So on one level, you're creating a desire that you want something. On another level, you're saying I don't want it. So in this conflict, it may not happen. Someone who has some faith in a god or in a temple or whatever, who is simple-minded. Faith works only for those people who are simple-minded. Thinking people, people who are too much thinking, for them it never works. A childlike person who has a simple faith in his god or his temple or whatever, he goes to the temple and says, Shiva, I want a house. I don't know how. You must make it for me. Now in his mind, there are no negative thoughts. Will it happen? Will it not happen? Is it possible? Is it not possible? These things are completely removed by this simple act of faith. So what is possible and what is not possible is not your business. That is nature's business. Nature will decide that. You just see what is it that you really want and strive for that. And if your thought is created in a powerful way, without any negativity, without any negative thoughts, bringing down the intensity of the thought process, it will definitely manifest. The whole existence, today modern science is proving, is just a reverberation of energy. It is a vibration. Similarly, your thought is also a vibration. If you generate a powerful thought and let it out, it will always manifest itself. So generally people are using faith as a means to remove the negative thought. Today, once you have become thinking human beings, your faith is not too deep. It doesn't matter how much faith you think you have, somewhere doubts always crop up. Right now the way your minds are made, this moment if God appears right here, you will not surrender to him. You will want an investigation whether he is really God or not. With this kind of mind, you should not waste your time on faith. So there is an alternative which is commitment. If you simply commit yourself to creating what you really care for, now once again your thought gets organized in such a way, there is no such thing as whether it's possible or not possible. There is no hurdle in your thought process. Your thought flows freely towards what you want. Once this happens, making it happen will also naturally follow. So to create what you really care for, first and foremost thing is that what you want must be well manifested in your mind. That this is what I want. Is that what you really want, you must look at it because any number of things in your life, you have thought this is it. The moment you reach there, you realize that's not it. It's the next one and the next one and the next one. So what is it that one really wants is one thing. First of all, we must explore. Once that is clear and we are committed to creating it, now there is a continuous process of thought in that direction. Once you can maintain a steady stream of thought without changing direction, definitely this is going to happen in your life or it will definitely manifest as a reality in your life.

Speaker 4:
[06:07] It takes guts. You got to dig down deep to get it out. Keep on going again and again and again until you make it happen because you know that it's possible. Now what do you do during the hard times, Les? Here's what you must do. Number one is you must have faith. Paul said you must have the faith to call forth those things that be not as though they were. Judge not according to appearances. Don't judge your circumstances and the possibilities for your future based upon what you had to become and because of what's going on now. No, no, no, no. That's not the real reality there. So you talk to yourself, you say an affirmation. The next step is you must have patience and engage in consistent action, patience and engage in consistent action. What is it? Write it down. Let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen, during those moments when it's hot, not only must you have patience and engage in consistent action, but you must turn to a pile of greater than yourself and just say, Lord, whatever I face today together, you and I can handle it. And I know some way and somehow you'll make away from me. You'll make away from me.

Speaker 5:
[07:22] Well, I think if we keep quantum physics and the understanding, very simple for the lay person, that our observation has a direct effect on our world. I think if we keep it very simple, then people can get about the business of beginning to practice the skill of observation. See, the subatomic world responds to our observation, but the average person loses their attention span every six to ten seconds per minute. So that doesn't leave a lot of room for our attention span. So, how could a very large respond to someone who doesn't have the ability to even focus and concentrate? Maybe we're just poor observers. Maybe we haven't mastered the skill of observation and maybe it is a skill. And maybe we're so addicted to the external world and so addicted to the stimulus and response to the external world that the brain is beginning to work out of response instead of out of creation. Some people come because they want more money. Some people want more, a new job, a new opportunity, a new career, a new relationships. Some people want the mystical. The people come for all kinds of reasons. To me, I don't care. What I care about is that they latch on to a vision and they learn how to create. Whatever drives them to that elegant moment where they're so present and so passionate about what they want and they have a clear intention, a clear vision, a coherent brain and they have an elevated emotion combined with it that they create hard coherence. And now they're broadcasting a whole new energy into the field and whatever we broadcast into the field is our experiment with destiny. So you're not separate from the energy of your future, you're connected to it. But the moment you get in traffic and you start getting angry, you get on the line at the bank and you start getting patient or you're sitting in a staff meeting, you start judging a co-worker, you just disconnected from the energy of the future and now you're back to the energy of your past and you've done nothing wrong. You just lost your connection to the future. Now, the importance of that is to notice that you're disconnected. And if you say to me, well, that person made me feel this way and think this way, I'd say, oh my gosh, you're back to the unconscious program of being a victim in your life. The victim is saying that someone or something is controlling how I think and feel. But a person who's producing outcomes in their life, all of a sudden they say, wow, the way I'm thinking and feeling is creating outcomes in my life. Now I'm a creator in my life and now I believe less that I'm a victim of my life. Point one. Point number two is that people think that they want certain things because they're experiencing lack. And so they have to go about becoming the very person. So then if we reframe it and you say, oh, I really want to be wealthy, I want all my needs met. And I'll say, really, why you want to be wealthy? And they'll say, because I want freedom. I'd say, okay, let's focus on freedom for two hours. And I let them sit in that emotion and those habits until they finally got beyond them. Now that's the work. So that person that they've had to conquer, that person they've had to overcome, that they had to become conscious of so they would not go unconscious again. The side effect of that is self-love. The side effect of that is a level of satisfaction with yourself that allows you to be satisfied with others. And people who judge themselves will judge others. People who hate themselves will hate others. People who are impatient with themselves will be impatient with others. People who abuse themselves will abuse others. People who love themselves will love others. People who feel a gratitude for their effort will have gratitude authentically in their life. People who are joyful because they sat in the fire and something changed are going to naturally be joyful. Not because they need a car or a wardrobe or a vacation to feel that. They feel joyful because they really feel joyful. It's not coming from out there, it's coming from in here. They will be joyful in their lives and it'll be real. So we're just seeing a community of people reaching that consciousness. And they're not relying on somebody out there to bring them joy. They're joyful because they're in love with who they are. If you're not being defunct by a vision of the future, then you're left with the old memories of the past and you will be predictable in your life. Quantum model of reality is about causing an effect. The moment you start feeling abundant and worthy, you are generating wealth. The moment you're empowered and feel it, you're beginning to step towards your success. The moment you start feeling whole, your healing begins. And when you love yourself and you love all of life, you'll create an equal. And now you're causing an effect. And I think that's the difference between living as a victim in your world saying, I am this way because of this person or that thing or this experience. They made me think and feel this way. When you switch that around, you become a creator of your world and you start saying, my thinking and my feeling is changing an outcome in my life. And now that's a whole different game. And we start believing more that we're creators of reality. Just curious how many people created their day this morning. You know why you didn't create your day? Because you don't believe it's possible yet. You see, if you knew it was true, you would wake up every morning excited to create your day, right? So how come nothing new ever happens in our life? I mean, the quantum law works and we know that it does. Then how come we keep having the same relationships or the same jobs or the same circumstances in our life? How come it's so routine and predictable that it seems that Newtonian physics is the law? Because we haven't mastered this idea called observation. By the way, the average human being loses their attention span six to ten times a minute. How good is our observation? That's why only few subatomic particles actually pay attention to our mind. You know, maybe paying attention and concentration and observation is a skill, just like tennis or golf, and you can improve it if you keep practicing it. But we have to begin to put the rubber to the road. We have to take this information in some way apply it to our life, right? Otherwise, it's just good philosophy and nobody's changed from anything. Now, when we can take consciousness, self-awareness and move it away from the body, the environment and time, we no longer have to live by the laws of the body, the environment and time. And when we're able to do that, we begin to open the door to walk into the quantum field. We have survival and we have creation. And creation falls under the category of learning and experiencing. And survival falls under the category of responding to the environment so much that it then becomes, listen to this, it then becomes the environment that is creating our reality. Did you hear me? Because as the environment pushes the circuits in the brain and we respond to those environmental stimuli, the body becomes prepared for the threat or the stress, which then causes the brain to think a certain way, which then creates the same reality in the future. So we're these human beings with these big brains, but we're living in the rudimentary part of the nervous system that's based on survival. And by the way, 90% of the time that we're awake and aware, we're living in survival. You know, responding to the environment, allowing the environment to determine our internal state. And the confusion we have as human beings, you see, the present moment right now is created from the thoughts of where? Right? So then the thoughts of now are creating what? So most people, though, they say, I'm going to sit down and create wealth. And they sit down for 10 minutes, they get up and they start looking in their bank account, for the transfer. And then they say what? Didn't work. And so if we don't get what we focus on in our arrogance, we all of a sudden say it didn't work. Well, the quantum field works. It's us that don't work. And as we begin to develop the skill of paying attention, we're holding on to an observation, by the way, independent of the environment, independent of our body, independent of time. And by the way, those are the heroes that we fall in love with, isn't it? Whether it's Martin Luther King or William Wallace, Churchill or any of those guys, you know what they said? They said, my observation matters. And I'm going to hold on to this thought, and I don't care how long it takes. And I'm going to hold on to this thought, and I'm not going to compromise it for anybody. Nothing in my environment is going to cause me to let go of my belief. I'm going to hold on to this observation, and I don't care what it feels like, because I'm accepting this more than I'm accepting anything else. And you can do whatever you want, but this is what's more real to me. And when we have that skill of observation, don't you think that the observer is going to start getting on board? Don't you think that's possible? So we have to develop that skill. We have to develop that skill. And because we're so prone to convenience that when it doesn't show up the same day within a matter of moments, we discount its possibility. Why not fall in love with an abstraction? Something that you haven't experienced yet. But if you can put all of your mind into that abstraction, don't you think that that abstraction will be your future? Don't you think that's possible? And don't you think you'll wire your brain to be exactly what your future dictates? You see, we can't get anything in our life that we're not first wired for. You can't be wealthy unless you're wired for wealth. So once we're wired for it, implicitly wired, non-declaratively wired, when we've wired it so much that we don't have to think about it anymore, that's the moment we are it, and that's the moment it takes no effort to have the side effect of who we are as a mind show up in our life. Does that make sense? So the question is, who are we going to rehearse ourselves to be every morning? Can you rehearse in the morning your greatest ideal and activate those circuits? And as you rehearse those ideals for yourself and activate those circuits, won't they be the platform of who you become?
