Speaker 1:
[00:09] This is Armed American Radio's Daily Defense.

Speaker 2:
[00:14] Armed American Radio's Daily Defense, because they don't want me to, that's why I do it. From the CZ Studios, they're never going to stop us here.

Speaker 1:
[00:24] Here is your host, the loudest conservative voice in America fighting the enemies of freedom, Mark Walters.

Speaker 2:
[00:34] Oh, and ladies and gentlemen, welcome inside Armed American Radio's CZ Studios at the Patriot Mobile Ranch today. It is a Wednesday. It's been a few days, Greg, down in Dallas, Texas. How are you doing today, my brother?

Speaker 3:
[00:46] Not too bad. Just trying to stay dry over here.

Speaker 2:
[00:49] You guys are getting some tornadic weather coming up over the weekend. I see on the forecast you guys are going to get some bad weather.

Speaker 3:
[00:55] Welcome to Texas in the spring.

Speaker 2:
[00:57] Welcome to Texas in the spring. And you inevitably always send that my direction. So, well, here it comes. You're welcome. We have a special guest today on a Wednesday. It doesn't normally happen. Andy Hoosier will be here momentarily. So hang tight with us, guys. Let's get some business out of the way. We are live on Facebook for you. facebook.com. facebook.com. facebook.com/armedamericanradio. Greg, I'll let you do your thing. And we'll go to Andy Hoosier, the voice of Lazon, whose voice is kind of shocked today because of Viking metal. We'll talk about that.

Speaker 3:
[01:24] Yeah, how about that? Other places to watch the show are going to be YouTube and Rumble. Just do a search for Armed American Radio with Mark Walters. Speaker 2:
[01:48] Andy Hoosier, the voice of reason. Can you talk?

Speaker 4:
[01:50] I can talk. I'm here. I'm here.

Speaker 2:
[01:55] Were you up on stage with that singer? Because you have Viking Rock and Roll, guys. Tell us about the band you saw in Kansas City last night.

Speaker 4:
[02:01] So one of my, oh, yeah. But one of my by far all time favorite bands of all time, they are a band from Sweden and they very rarely come to the United States. When they do, it's usually only very big festivals that they go to. They made a tour and a Monomarth is the name of the band. It's it's actually kind of dorky. They actually named it off of a mountain that was a mountain range from Lord of the Rings, which is how they got their name, which is fantastic. But nonetheless, so yeah, a Viking metal band from Sweden, and they came to Kansas City. I very rarely go to Kansas City for shows anymore because that's a three hour drive. But for these guys, I have followed them for 20 years. They are amazing. They're one of my favorite bands. So I had to go up and see them last night. And yeah, so I rolled into my driveway last night at 1am and then got up for this radio stuff this morning. It's been a long day, but it is totally worth it. It was such a great show. My voice is starting to slowly come back. But yeah, and I was the only one there with a drinking horn, which was really unfortunate because I thought everybody would have a drinking horn with me. But yeah, no, it was a great time. Great show.

Speaker 2:
[03:07] Didn't you just come off a Renaissance Festival as well? I did. Yeah, it was a genre, right?

Speaker 4:
[03:12] It was. It was an extension. Yeah, I had my Renaissance Festival this past weekend. And then I jumped right into the concert and represent my new, my new Iman Amarth t-shirt. So everybody on the video feed there. But yeah, it was a great time. It was a lot of fun. I am exhausted, but totally worth it because it was such an amazing show. I did post some of the video and pictures on my Facebook of people. I'm going to go check that out.

Speaker 3:
[03:32] He's never coming down from this. Never coming down from this. He's not.

Speaker 2:
[03:35] It's going to be a few days before he comes down from this.

Speaker 4:
[03:36] Oh man.

Speaker 2:
[03:37] Because I've been there sort of that way too. I know.

Speaker 4:
[03:39] Oh yeah. I mean, my ears are still ringing and I can barely hear anything. But you know, I had the music cranked up all the way for the three-hour drive home anyways.

Speaker 2:
[03:46] So I'm like that every day. I mean, just look behind me here, okay? If you're watching on your devices and sets, you can see this. So and right now I have a Saldano amp head plugged into a Marshall 4x12 cabinet and the volume is cranked. So if I were to pick this up right now, I would like blow us right out of the studio, which would be kind of cool. Maybe we'll close the show and blow out of the studio. Now, what I thought was cool, because that's not, you know, that heavy metal. You know, I love rock and roll. I love and I can dig heavy metal too. Believe me, don't get me wrong, like Metallica. I love Metallica. But is Metallica really, I mean, guys, this stuff is way beyond Metallica. They make Metallica look like child's play. And this guy's got the, I mean, they look like the Vikings. They got the ship thing going on. They got the horns going on. They got the whole swing and things. I mean, they got, it's Viking. I just call it Viking metal. I don't know if that's what it is.

Speaker 4:
[04:37] That's the sub-genre. It is Viking metal. Yeah, it's what it, I mean, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hardcore metal. It is the Viking metal. And you're right. I mean, it was so cool because they're sets. The thing about these guys is that they have, because they do mostly festivals, they have not just the music, which is fantastic, but the theatrics. They have this digital screen in the back that they have. Like you said, they have these, you know, massive statues of Vikings, or then it deflates and it comes up as, you know, the dragon, and it comes up as a battleship. Dragon's never coming down. And they have people, they have these people that are all dressed up doing sword fights on stage. It's amazing. It's pretty incredible.

Speaker 2:
[05:12] Well, that's not generally stuff that I would go out and, you know, listen to while I was driving for a while. But I got to tell you, you sent me the video, and the whole thing in context with the Viking rock and roll. I mean, guys, this guy had the B365A, big air bar, lowered the vikings, sailed with 300 ships. I mean, I could actually understand the guy, and it fit. It actually fit with that genre. It fit in that context, and I really enjoyed it. So I'm going to have to go out and pick it up on iTunes. I really am.

Speaker 4:
[05:45] Go pick it up. And you, doing your guitar stuff, they, a lot of people call it kind of cookie cutter metal because it's kind of the same stuff. It's not too overly intricate, but playing the guitar, you would really enjoy playing some of their music, especially some of their newer stuff. I think they've actually, you know, they've been around for 25 years. These guys are getting older. You can see in the video that, I mean, the lead singer, Johan, he's got white hair now. He's getting older, but they've progressively gotten better as the years go on.

Speaker 2:
[06:10] He's got to get off the donuts and the beer. That looked like a combination of Krispy Kremes and a whole lot of Guinness. He's from Sweden, and I happen to know, because I've been to Sweden, they drink wolf beer over there.

Speaker 4:
[06:21] Yes, well, he is in his late 50s. So, you know, late 50s. So, you know, I don't know what his exercise routine is anymore.

Speaker 2:
[06:27] But yeah, I mean, it's not, it's non-existent. You could tell it's on stage, and he doesn't move around much. But I mean, you got Brian Johnson from ACDC out there, still killing it on tour right now, and he's 80.

Speaker 4:
[06:37] That's right.

Speaker 2:
[06:38] And he's got the whole gut thing going on. He's starting to lose his voice and everything. But it's ACDC, man. If you have a chance, you go see him, because you're likely never going to be able to see them again. If you haven't seen them, go do it. Because if you close your eyes, Angus' guitar is Angus' guitar. It doesn't have an age limit to it.

Speaker 4:
[06:54] That's exactly it.

Speaker 2:
[06:56] You know, it's powerful stuff. But in that context, I did want to tell you, I thought that was kind of cool because it really did. That metal fit in that whole visual concept. It was cool. So I got to hand it to you. Excuse me on that one. Oh boy. And then you come down and now you're working. And you know, we got to talk about Virginia, the referendum passed last night in Virginia. I talked to Stephen Gatowski to follow up with him from my conversation yesterday in Virginia. And it is, if you thought it was a mess yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, it's far worse now in the state. Now, guns.com is reporting. And again, I keep telling you, if you're not a member of VCDL, you need to rethink that. And here's why. It's not, I'm not just telling you that we're all Virginians now. We are Virginians now. We've been telling you that if we don't stop this in Virginia, and there is a chance to stop this still, it's going to take some time, but we can still stop it. It is coming to you. The guns.com headline today. Virginia has some of the worst new gun laws. Dems want to take them nationwide. Take a listen to what they're doing. This came out two days ago. Virginia's two US senators have introduced a sweeping 53-page bill to bring the Commonwealth's new anti-gun plan to all 50 states. That includes you, ladies and gentlemen. US senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, both Democrats, introduced the Virginia Plan to Reduce Gun Violence Act to Congress on Friday. Now, let me explain something to Tim Kaine and to Mark Warner. I don't live in Virginia. I'm never going to live in Virginia. I don't want to live in Virginia. And I don't give two FCC unfriendly words about Virginia's gun laws other than fighting to stop them. And for you to bring them nationwide... Now, let's talk about the level of arrogance there for just a moment, Andy. This is proof positive, the bubble that these people are living in. They believe Virginia's Democrat run, and we'll go to the referendum last night in just a few minutes, was some type of national referendum because of their Trump hatred? Is that how they view this? Is that why the arrogance is here? That they want to put the Virginia plan to reduce gun violence act to Congress, to all of us? Because I'll tell them what. You want them, you come and get them, babe. Come, good luck with that. Go ahead.

Speaker 4:
[09:16] Yeah. Yeah. No, look, I mean, you called it since the beginning. I mean, and that's why even when you said that people are saying, hey, you've been talking about Virginia for way too long, there's other issues going on. You called it from the beginning. This is the framework of what they want to do nationwide. And look how quickly that they've done it within, what, a week, maybe two weeks since the governor signed all of these bills after she took her time doing it, that they're already trying to push it at a federal level. Like that was the framework. It was the social experiment. It worked in Virginia. They rammed it through, and now they want to try and take it to a whole other level nationwide. So the fact that they've already taken this framework and said, hey, it hasn't even been taken effect at it past a week ago, and we're gonna try this on the national level, just shows how excited and giddy they are to try and ram this down our throats nationwide.

Speaker 2:
[09:59] You're spot on. Let me take us to the break with this. There's 17 sections in this bill, ladies and gentlemen, 53 pages, encompassing an entire framework of gun control schemes to include a federal ban on most popular semi-auto firearms and magazines capable of holding more than 15 cartridges, one-a-month gun rationing, establishing red flag gun seizures, instituting thousands of new 1,000-foot no-gun zones, regulating firearm storage in personal vehicles, adopting restrictions on homemade firearms, and more. It represents, folks, the most comprehensive proposals aimed at standardizing regulations from coast to coast, ever. Introduced in Congress, when we come back, we'll break it down with Andy Hoosier, the voice of reason. Don't go away. We'll give his voice a rest. The following segment of Armed American Radio is proudly being brought to you by the National Rifle Association. Help us defend freedom by visiting nra.org/aar and join today. Welcome back to the show. Yes, welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, Armed American Radio's daily defense continues here from the CZ Studios in front of this powerful Patriot mobile platinum microphone. And Greg, you know, I'm bummed I didn't make it over to the Patriot mobile booth at the NRA because my booth stayed busy and I couldn't get up.

Speaker 3:
[11:36] That happens.

Speaker 2:
[11:36] You know, for two days, literally couldn't get up. And as a result of that, I didn't make it over to Patriot. They're going to be on the program tomorrow. We're working on that right now on that schedule. But and I can't remember his name, but if you've watched Yellowstone, they had the cowboy from Yellowstone, the old dude with the long mustache. And I can't remember his name. That ran the bunkhouse? You know the old dude that ran the bunkhouse?

Speaker 3:
[12:01] Yeah, I'm thinking.

Speaker 2:
[12:01] On Yellowstone? I can't recall his name, but he was there for the day with Patriot Mobile throughout the day. And I didn't get a chance to get over there. And I would have liked to have done that. But Patriot Mobile is the real deal, ladies and gentlemen. They really truly are. patriotmobile.com/aar. This is a Patriot Mobile activated phone here that I have in my hand. You can do the same thing. And I believe I'm going over tomorrow to my current carrier on the other lines, and finally being able to switch a couple more lines over. So I'll let you know how that goes. There's an IEMI thing, or whatever that number is in there. It was switched between me and my wife's phones.

Speaker 3:
[12:36] Yeah, it's your serial number.

Speaker 2:
[12:37] So we're going to go over and take care of that. But we had to physically go there to get that done on these other two lines. So we're going to work on that tomorrow. Anyway, patriotmobile.com, ladies and gentlemen. patriotmobile.com. And don't forget the National Rifle Association, please. We just came off a great week with the National Rifle Association. We need your help over there doing all these great things. And they're in Virginia. They are at the tip of the spear, what we're talking about here, as it gets worse and worse, as they now try to bring this to you, as we told you they were going to do. Does it stand a chance? Don't know. But you know what they're doing? Andy Hoosier, the voice of reason, let's bring you back in here. What they are doing is they are positioning themselves for what they believe is going to be a wipeout in the midterms in both houses of Congress. And they're going to want to use these gun control bills as leverage with Trump, to try to get other things that they want, knowing that he will not sign these bills. Now, the arrogance of the Democrats right now, Andy, coming out of Virginia, it's not just Virginia Dems. They didn't work on this. Warner and Kaine didn't do this by themselves in a vacuum, brother. OK, you've got the Democrat National Committee and you've got the leaders in both sides. You've got Hakeem Jeffries at Lunatic and you've got Schumer. They're all very well aware of this. They're working on this together to try to bring this nationwide. I don't know how else to tell you this, ladies and gentlemen. But if the wrong things happen in the midterms in November and again in 2028, ladies and gentlemen, you've got a problem on your hands because Virginia becomes you. So join vcdl.org right now because there's power in numbers. And let's put a stop to this now before it happens, Andy. Go ahead.

Speaker 4:
[14:10] Yeah, no, you're absolutely right. Look, we can talk about the bill that passed yesterday with the vote, which was absolutely insane, but this is we're getting they're getting some inflated egos, I think, for the Democrat side, because I think just because it passed in a kind of sort of left leaning blue state that this somehow is going to be the leverage, like you said, for President Donald Trump and for the policy at the federal level and what they want to do. They're laying out their platform. They're telling us exactly what they want to do. And they've always done that. They said exactly what they want to do, even if it's extremely unpopular. They don't care. They lay it out there because that's what they're going to ram through one way or the other, which is where Republicans, you need to start getting your spine back. You need to start fighting back a little bit more vigorously because right now Democrats don't care. I've said this before, Democrats always know that when they push the envelope too far, they lose the election. But Republicans never repeal that agenda, which means whenever the Democrats get the power again, whether it's two years, four years, however long it takes, when they come back, that new starting point, that new foundation is right where they left off last time. And they just continue to search ahead. We never repeal anything they do, which is why we need the SAVE Act, which is why we got to get rid of the filibuster in the Senate, which is why we have to codify the Trump agenda. We got to do all of this, and we have to do it within the next six months.

Speaker 2:
[15:26] Yeah, we're going to get some help, as you know, Andy, I don't know if you had a chance to listen to my interview with Todd Blanch, acting Attorney General, but it was a good one.

Speaker 4:
[15:34] Yeah, which by the way, I want to say that was a really great interview. Well done on that one. He was a great guy. And I was not aware, I did not know that his family was involved in two issues and in a gun dealership or a manufacturer or whatever his family was involved in. Yeah, that's pretty incredible. So that gives me more optimism. Pam Bondi was, she had some strong suits from being Attorney General in Florida. We were a little concerned about what she was gonna do. And remember, the Trump administration, Donald Trump ordered her at the beginning to look at any laws that may violate Second Amendment issues. So if she wasn't on it as forcefully as what she could have been, it sounds like if anybody's going to, it would be Blanche to come in and actually take care of that role. So that's really optimistic for us moving forward.

Speaker 2:
[16:15] He made that clear in my interview. He made that clear going forward. And I'm gonna quote him. Now, I'm gonna paraphrase the quote. But if you missed my interview with Todd Blanche, ladies and gentlemen, it's up on our podcast. It was Sunday's first segment of Hour One on the 19th. And I want you to go in and listen to that interview with the acting attorney general. He was sitting right in front of me surrounded by a Secret Service cadre. There was a lot of fun doing the interview. But when we asked him about going forward, his response was, you know, we've got to win the midterms. Of course, that came up. He said, but even if we don't, and I hope we do, but even if we don't, the things we're doing right now, it won't matter because we're going to codify these things going forward that even if we lose the midterms, and he was speaking again down the road at the White House, that it will not matter. And that's what's critical. Now you're right. His family owns Checkmate Firearms or Checkmate Industries. Their booth was a half a block down from mine. I stopped by and saw them and had good conversation with those folks. So he's got stake in this. He has personal stake in this. So I was very confident in talking with him, and I also had a few minutes off the record that I won't repeat of that conversation. I had about 10 minutes with him as we chatted after the interview was taped. So go back and listen to that, ladies and gentlemen. It was a good interview and it'll make you feel better. And if you're one of those folks that just want it all now, you got to understand you're not going to get it all now, okay? It's got to be step by step by step. So give these guys a break, okay? They're doing what they can do. We've got the right people in place now. Bondi's out. If you didn't like Bondi, I didn't fear her only because I know what her boss was all about. And I knew she wasn't going to get outside those guardrails. I think you felt the same way, Andy. But now that Blanche is over there, we don't know what's going to happen, but we're going to talk a little bit about that because Representative Clyde is making some comments. DWR is writing about it today on what Clyde once done at the AG. So we'll talk about that momentarily. Before we do that, let's take us to the break with this, Andy, and then we'll go into some of it when we come back. Since Democrats gained control of the governor's mansion and the state legislature in Virginia with support from a $1.4 million campaign by gun control groups last fall. A series of new gun restrictions has been approved in Richmond. Currently 11 states, 11 states, you know who they are, ladies and gentlemen, we talk about them all the time, that's behind the blue wall, have bans on certain semi-auto firearms with Rhode Island joining last summer, and they're going after grandfathering right now because it's never enough. We told you, you can keep what you have. Gee, thanks a lot, Mr. Politician, without the moral authority to even do that. But thanks, we appreciate that. Oh, now it's not enough. Now we want to take them because we're wrong, and they shouldn't be there to begin with. That's what they're doing in Rhode Island. Don't think for two seconds that's not going to come up in the next legislative session in Virginia because it will. Currently, those 11 states have bans. Rhode Island jumped in. Virginia's restrictions are expected to take effect July 1. And here's what Warner had to say about that. I am proud of the Commonwealth for leading the way in implementing common sense gun reforms, and it's time for the country to follow. The bill as it's introduced in the Senate, folks, is S-4339 and is referred already to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Republicans control, and I want you to take a listen to the last words from Chris Eager over here at guns.com. While Congress is narrowly under Republican control, the country is headed into a contentious election cycle in November, with every House seat and 35 Senate seats, 20 GOP on the line in November. Further, Trump's track record on the Second Amendment has always been something of a moving target. Guys, join VCDL, join the NRA. We need your help. We'll be right back. The following segment of Armed American Radio's Daily Defense is being brought to you by Patriot Mobile. Visit patriotmobile.com/aar and use the AAR promo code to get free activation today. Welcome back to the show. Indeed, welcome back to the show. Armed American Radio's Daily Defense continues from the CZ Studios. Already told you about Patriot Mobile. Let's jump over real quick to blackoutcoffee.com. Greg, ask me how many blackout coffees I had today to start my day.

Speaker 3:
[20:34] Mark, how many blackout coffees did you have this morning to start your day?

Speaker 2:
[20:37] I had two, and they were big ones because I put three and a half scoops in each one.

Speaker 3:
[20:41] All right.

Speaker 2:
[20:42] So they were strong, and ask me why. Why did I do that?

Speaker 3:
[20:45] Why did you go three scoops?

Speaker 2:
[20:47] Well, because I got up at like 3.30 this morning.

Speaker 3:
[20:49] You're gonna need extra.

Speaker 2:
[20:50] So I needed a little bit of an extra boost, yeah. But the coffee's really good. It's really strong flavored, ladies and gentlemen. It's great stuff. My wife is in love with the stuff now. And we get the different bags every month. I can't even tell you what we have. I don't do the flavored stuff, you know, the fruity, 2D coffee. Just give me a strong cup of coffee, all right? Now, I gotta admit, my wife drinks it black. I put sugar and cream in it.

Speaker 3:
[21:12] All right.

Speaker 2:
[21:12] I'm the guy that gets the Fufu coffee, because I gotta...

Speaker 3:
[21:15] I put creamer in my coffee as well, so...

Speaker 2:
[21:17] Yeah, I put creamer in it. I'm good with that. I just hate putting milk in it, and that's all we had left. And I won't put heavy cream. I like half and half. And so, if my wife and kids are listening, somebody go up to Publix and give me some half and half, would you please get daddy some half and half? You know what I'm saying? Good heavens. We need to have that whole milk. Man, I hate milk. Try to drink a glass of milk, I throw up. Haven't had a glass of milk since I threw up when I was a baby. Don't drink that stuff. Don't even want it in my blackout coffee. blackoutcoffee.com/aar, ladies and gentlemen. Make sure to check out Bud's Gun Shop, Bud's Gun shop.com and pogauctions.com, working with WTTA Walk the Talk America. More about that later. Andy Hoosier, the voice of Laison, coming back from a Viking concert last night, which was pretty hardcore, I have to admit. It was pretty cool, brother. I have to admit that.

Speaker 4:
[22:02] I'm going to get you one of these days. You know, if there's one, actually, you know what, if there's one near you sometime, I'm just going to have to go down that way and then take you to the show.

Speaker 1:
[22:10] Oh, take me to the show.

Speaker 2:
[22:12] He's going to drag you in. Take me out to the Viking concert. My buddy's out there.

Speaker 4:
[22:17] Throw you in the mosh pit.

Speaker 2:
[22:18] Throw me into the mosh pit. No, I ain't doing no mosh pit, man. I wouldn't have done a mosh pit when I was 18. That to me is not fun, man. That is not fun.

Speaker 4:
[22:28] It's a blast. You know, I always tell my wife, because she says, Andy, you're married now. You have a kid. You got to be more responsible. I said, look, the only way you know it's a good concert is when you come back with a black guy and a cracked rib. That's when you know it was a great show. And I jumped in the pit last night. It was a small pit, but it was a pit nonetheless. Had a great time and a little sore from that. But that's the beauty of the show.

Speaker 3:
[22:52] He's not old enough.

Speaker 2:
[22:52] A cracked rib. I mean, you know, I always thought it was a great show if I came back hung over. But a cracked rib, I don't know that I would say. Okay, here's the thing, the cracked rib was a good thing.

Speaker 4:
[23:04] Look, here's the thing, Marcus.

Speaker 2:
[23:05] Cracked ribs are painful, man.

Speaker 4:
[23:06] We live in a world, and you and I, especially with what we do for a living, we have a lot of frustration in our life. Politics is pretty crazy, you know. And then, of course, life outside for everybody is just chaotic. I always tell my wife, everybody has their outlet, their artistic outlet, their reading, their meditation, their workouts, their sports. Whatever they do is their outlet to get away from it all. I tell my wife, twice a year, give me a concert, let me jump in the mosh pit, let me legally just shove people around a little bit, get hit a few times, have a good time. That is my outlet, that is my channel to all the tension, everything that goes on, that's my outlet. And I come back from that and I feel fantastic, and I'm ready to go again. So give me that twice a year and I'm set to go.

Speaker 2:
[23:48] I got to ask you a question, man. I play my guitar really, really loud. That's a great outlet for me. And I'm not cracking ribs doing it. I might be blowing some eardrums out, but that's okay. By the time I realize what's going on there, I'll probably be taking a dirt nap anyway. But Greg, what kind of stress is he under that? A mosh pit is great relief.

Speaker 3:
[24:08] Hey, you don't run a radio, a cluster of radio stations nor a radio network, so you have no idea.

Speaker 2:
[24:15] Yeah, I just talk on, I don't play a program director on radio. I just talk on the radio. You're right. Andy's got that whole backstory behind him as well. So all right, Andy, that's cool. Well, I want to give you an opportunity to talk about what Warner had to say. This level of arrogance is astonishing. I'm proud of the Commonwealth for leading the way in implementing common sense gun reforms, and it's time for the country to follow what Virginia has done. Guys, we told you. Go ahead, Andy, and then we'll move to AWR's piece.

Speaker 4:
[24:44] Well, look, I mean, this is, it just shows the Democrat Party is still so far out of touch with the common person. And look, I mean, Republicans, conservatives, gun activists, I mean, obviously, you talk about it quite a bit. Outside of the circle of Second Amendment advocates, not just gun owners, but the actual advocates and the grassroots activists that are out there, outside of that group, people don't talk about it much. And for my generation, for the younger generations, there are less and less of these younger generations that actually know and understand firearms, carry firearms, purchase firearms. They don't get it. So the narrative, the long-term narrative, we gotta give Democrats and gotta get progressives, kudos, not just on the gun issue, but for every agenda issue, they do well with the long-term game. This is the FDR style agenda, is that you do the changes incrementally, you keep feeding the narrative, it may be a lie, it may be complete falsehood, but it's a narrative nonetheless that you continue to feed in over a decade, two decades, three decades. People begin to believe it because that's all they hear. So therefore, that's the new narrative. That is the general assumption and understanding about an issue of where we're at with a particular issue. So for guns, they demonize and demonize and demonize. The common sense gun reforms, the weapons of war, the red flag laws, the so on and so forth. The name of the bill, the stupid name of the bill that they're putting up in DC. What was it? Keeping America Safe Act or whatever the crap they say.

Speaker 2:
[26:08] Virginia garbage.

Speaker 4:
[26:10] Yeah, it's insane. I mean, this is the narrative they promoted and it slowly works. I mean, the prime example is the redistricting vote that happened yesterday. The conversation that's happening on my social media today about this issue from the other side, they have no idea that Democrats have been gerrymandering on issues at all for decades. All they say is, well, Trump started this fight because he tried to redistrict in Texas, and we're responding, and now you snowflakes on the right are angry about it. They don't realize that the reason we did it in Texas was to offset what they've been doing for years because we haven't had the conversation. And the same thing goes right here with the gun issue.

Speaker 2:
[26:46] Well, you're going to have Florida, by the way, DeSantis has already threatened, and I feel pretty confident that Florida's going to move to wipe out what Virginia did by gerrymandering their state, intentionally doing so. Guys, when the country has gotten to this point, you had better start asking yourself what's coming next.

Speaker 3:
[27:03] Hey, guys. It looks like I'm seeing a breaking story that a circuit court in Virginia has just struck down the redistricting proposal as unconstitutional, so.

Speaker 2:
[27:12] Okay, now, that's not a shock. That's actually not a shock, because this is going to need to go ahead.

Speaker 3:
[27:19] Right now breaking kind of story. It's very, very recent, and it's Fox News, so.

Speaker 2:
[27:24] All right, and that was exactly what was getting ready to happen, Andy. Those were the first steps that were going to be taking in the district court to get it to the Virginia Supreme Court one more time. So this is not a done deal, ladies and gentlemen. That was the step that we knew that was coming. It was talked about, well, the Republicans have been talking about it for a number of weeks right now. And so had a lot of Democrats, believe it or not. The fact that the vote was so close shows you that you don't have only three counties in Virginia that are red in southwestern Virginia and the rest of the state blue. What you've done is you've taken two-thirds of that state and gerrymandered it blue and picked up an additional 10 seats in Virginia. So watch this play out. We'll have more about that. Greg, thanks for bringing that up. We don't have time to get into it.

Speaker 3:
[28:11] I want to thank the chat. That's where the story was posted, so.

Speaker 2:
[28:14] Excellent. Thanks, guys, in the chat. All those knuckleheads in the chat really got it going on, man. We appreciate it. And I'm sure there's comments up there that I didn't get a chance to look at because I can see them here on the stream. All right. So that's good news in Virginia. It's going the direction that we knew it was going to go, and that was the court system. Representative Clyde, on the other hand. Now, I guess, Greg, we're probably going to be taking a break here in a second. So Andy, I'll set this up when we come back. Republican Andrew Clyde is leading a coalition of GOP House members, urging President Donald Trump to pick an attorney general who will, Greg, you'll love this, immediately wipe away Biden-era ATF gun controls. And there's 32 other House members that are signed on as of April 21st. Andy, Greg and I were talking about that during the break. Why can't we just come in and wipe these out? The federal ones, we can. The state ones, that's a whole different ball game, okay? A lot of that is already in litigation, and I had conversations with this in Houston with a number of people in the know here. Those are being litigated. But at the federal level, and guys, this is why we, Andy, this is why we got angry. Why hadn't this been done already, right? Right. When Trump made that statement and made it very clear that he was assigning Pam Bondi and the DOJ to look at every single one of those bills under Biden or every one of those executive actions, whatever he could do to wipe out. AG is a very powerful position. We don't know who's going to be occupying it. But guys, please go listen to my interview with acting Attorney General Todd Blanch. Right? Don't miss that. It'll give you some really good insight. We'll be back one more segment with Andy Hoosier. This segment is brought to you by Attorneys on Retainer. Get the only self-defense program for gun owners backed by a real law firm, the Attorneys for Freedom. Visit them online at attorneysonretainer.us. Welcome back. Welcome back, folks. This is my Attorneys on Retainer card. I am holding it up. Here it is, pouncing off the microphone here. And if you're not watching, Attorneys on Retainer. This is a lawyer in my pocket. Do you have a lawyer in your pocket yet? If not, why? Keep asking yourself that question. Eventually, you're going to roll over one morning and go, You know what? I need to get this done. It's only 37 bucks. Get her done. Okay? Just get her done. It's that simple. Tells you everything you need to know on the back. Gives you all your information on the front. Become a card carrying member, which means you're carrying around a team of up to four lawyers should you ever have to use your gun in self-defense. And it covers a lot more than that. And for the remainder of this week, the NRA discount still applies. You can save 50 bucks, and it's only $37 a month. So please, attorneysonretainer.us, take advantage of that before the week is over. They extended that discount from the NRA for the week. Take advantage of that. Please put this in your pocket, okay? You're going to hear heavy duty country. Dan, talk about it at great length coming up on Sunday's Monstercast along with attorney Mark Smith. They'll both be here from my interviews from the NRA. The rest of the show will be live, but we want to run those two interviews and give them the biggest audience possible because, well, they've got big audience as well, all right? So take advantage of this. attorneysonretainer.us/aar. Don't wait any longer. Get it done. And you can find them and all of our great partners, all of them, including Virginia Citizens Defense League. They're all over at armedamericanradio.com. Andy Hoosier of the Voices of Lausanne. Welcome back, brother. So let's go. I do want to point out, we cannot yet confirm what we heard earlier. So I want to make that very clear. We know that the Virginia Supreme Court has been asked to look at this, but we do not yet have an answer. We cannot confirm that yet. So hold tight with us. We'll know more, hopefully, tomorrow. But they are acting quickly in Virginia with the court system on this nonsense that Virginia has pulled. It's what happens when you give Democrats power and they get drunk on it, folks. They're tipping the bottle like nobody's business. Andy, you're shaking your head. Yes, I love being able to see you on the radio. It is so true. All right. Let's go back to Clyde, who is leading a coalition of GOP House members. And right now, it looks like there are 32 others. It's probably more than that by now. This posted up yesterday by AWR is urging Trump to pick an attorney general who will immediately wipe away Biden-era gun controls. The letter then lists three specific rules that the AG should target. One, Biden's pistol-stabilizing brace rule, which DOJ continues to enforce against certain firearms despite pro-Second Amendment injunctions. Biden's so-called ghost gun regulation, which survived US Supreme Court review only because the DOJ failed to render the case moot. That did happen. And three, Biden's engaged in the business universal background check rule, which the DOJ has maneuvered to keep in place rather than pursue full repeal. All of that was done under Bondi, Andy, OK? And after I talked to Todd Blanch, I feel pretty comfortable telling you that if he has his way, if he's picked and he's nominated and he is confirmed, that these all go bye-bye. And of course, we've got a lot of cases, you know, pending against the NFA, etc. in its entirety. GOAs involved, you know, Firearms Policy Coalition, Second Amendment Foundation, and the NRA. And of course, VCDL is lining up right now for lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit in the state of Virginia. So guys, if you can join them all, it'd be a big help. There is strength in numbers. He is also, through the letter, Clyde is asking colleagues, and I quote, the next AG to set forth clear guidance preventing DOJ attorneys from defending unconstitutional gun laws. Now, this goes hand in hand, Andy, with Harmeet Dhillon's letter to Virginia's governor threatening civil rights violations in lawsuits because of civil rights violations that these gun control, these unconstitutional gun controls instill in the state of Virginia. So, they want Trump to purge the ATF of gun grabbing bureaucrats, oppose any effort to create, operate, or maintain a federal firearms registry in any form. GOA is reporting today that the billion names on there have been confirmed. Stopping the ATF's release of sensitive firearm trace data in violation of the T. Hart Amendment, shutting down and deleting the ATF's illegal searchable gun registry known as the Out of Business Records Imaging System, which they're required to keep forever, and reducing NFA application processing times. So guys, the cavalry is in route. All right? It's not going to happen overnight, but hang tight. There's a lot of positive things going on. Again, go listen to my interview with Attorney General, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanchett. We'll put a little bit more of that in perspective. Andy, go ahead.

Speaker 4:
[35:09] Yeah. Well, look, I mean, this is an ongoing battle across the board right now, not just the ATF, not just the legal department with the Department of Justice. This is across the board. And we got to remember, like you said, we cannot get it all done in one day and can't go in and fire 40 percent of the entire federal workers in all these different agencies. Wouldn't you love to though? Yeah. I mean, we'd love to. Ideally, that'd be fantastic. We'd love to go into appeals, just wipe and just clean house. But that's not the way things work. This is the deep state, the shadow government, the bureaucratic state, the fourth branch of government, whatever you want to call it. This is them in play where we can put the heads in. Look, we have probably the best cabinet of any presidential administration, at least in modern American history. RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Blanchett. Now, I mean, we have Marco Rubio for crying out loud. We have so many great people that are in there. But there are people within the agencies, all across the board, that are still fighting against this agenda and making their jobs very difficult. We have to work to clean house. We have to expose them. We have to get rid of them. But it takes time to do that. So I'm optimistic, but we have a lot of work to do, and it's going to take some time to do it. So take the wins when we can.

Speaker 2:
[36:24] You take the victory. Take the win. All right, that's never a bad thing to take the victory. You can feel good about taking a victory, ladies and gentlemen, okay? Get real, it doesn't happen overnight. We all want it to. But you have to understand how DC works. They come in to DC talking a big game, right? They get in to DC and realize it's not everything that they themselves saw on TV. Bondi was a victim of that. I used to use the phrase all the time. She was way out ahead of her skis. All of a sudden she gets in and goes, oh, I can't just do this? No, for the very reason, Andy and Greg, go ahead and cue the X-Files music. Do it right now. We've got a minute. That's why disclosure hasn't happened yet, Andy, because of the paid, unelected bureaucrats are not just handling that, but they're also in these pockets of every administration. And they are all, for the most part, leftists.

Speaker 4:
[37:23] And by the way, more continue to be missing and dead. By the way, David Wilcock, a major UFO researcher, just showed up dead as a quote-unquote suicide in Colorado. He made videos, and I followed him for a long time. Now he's gone. So yeah, we're getting closer, and that means I can smell the panic.

Speaker 2:
[37:42] Yeah, if you've seen any of Lazar's recent interviews and documentaries, guys, Amazon's got Lazar's documentary up on S4 over at Area 51. And it is absolutely wild.

Speaker 4:
[37:55] It is absolutely wild. The changing of the admin state, the deep state, the bureaucratic state. It's taking time. We have a lot of work to do on there. We're moving in the right direction and we're taking our inches. But golly, man, it's a fight every step of the way.

Speaker 2:
[38:07] Yeah, Greg and I and Andy have our own private text thread that I made very clear that it's all about this. Don't change the topic in this. We can talk about everything else on other threads, but this thread belongs to this topic. It's a beautiful thing. Guys, we're out of here. Andy Hoosier, the voice of Reason. Where can people go and find you right now coming up after the break? Take it away. Then we're going to cut the stream.

Speaker 4:
[38:28] You betcha. hoosierreason.com. Go and check it out. We're going to talk about the Virginia issue along with some other stuff. So we're going to have some fun, and I will try and make it through the show the best I can with this voice that I have.

Speaker 2:
[38:36] You got it, brother. Handle it. You can do it. Ladies and gentlemen, we will be back with you on Armed American Radio's Daily Defense tomorrow. I can promise you that. Armed American Radio's Daily Defense, because they don't want us to. That's why we do it every single day.
