Speaker 1:
[00:26] Ignition sequence start.

Speaker 2:
[00:28] Let me take y'all back to the beginning.

Speaker 3:
[00:30] This is it.

Speaker 4:
[00:30] Alrighty, ready?

Speaker 5:
[00:32] You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 6:
[00:34] You're a doodoo head.

Speaker 7:
[00:39] It's showtime!

Speaker 6:
[00:41] Good morning and welcome to the In The Morning show. It is so nice to have you guys here. Happy Wednesday. If there's anything to be happy about today, it's got to be the weather because it looks like it's going to be gorgeous. Looks like we're going to have what could be the most deserved forecast that we've had in a while. And actually the next couple of days are going to be nice too, temperatures like 70 sunny. Man, oh man, we deserve it after what we've gone through. Although we all know what happens when we get like one or two good 70 degree days, we end up getting a snowstorm probably. Welcome to the radio show that's giving you a chance to win with Secret Sound. Sometime hopefully in 2026, somebody is going to be able to call themselves $13,000 richer because of the radio program that they wake up to or go to bed to, who knows. Your chance come up 15 minutes from now. All right, so exactly 15 minutes from now. We will have that for you. This morning's Five Lies is really funny. Not as funny as last week, but funny. I'm going to be on record to say last week's, I think might have been one of my favorite five lies to tell your mom phone scams that we've ever done. You got to check that out. That's on our podcast. Second date updates coming up this morning too, and a lot of good topics. It's In The Morning. I'm looking over at Anna and I can tell that Anna's getting a little giddy and smiley. And who are you texting this early in the morning?

Speaker 8:
[02:14] Oh, how can you tell?

Speaker 6:
[02:16] Because normally you are not. No, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 8:
[02:19] Well, yeah, it is 6 in the morning.

Speaker 6:
[02:20] Actually, you do look like your hair looks different and stuff.

Speaker 9:
[02:25] I love your hair curly like that.

Speaker 8:
[02:26] Am I glowing?

Speaker 6:
[02:28] Yeah. By the way, is that your hair or is that somebody else's?

Speaker 8:
[02:31] No, this is my hair.

Speaker 6:
[02:33] Because I never know if a girl, if it's her hair or extensions or what it is.

Speaker 8:
[02:39] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[02:39] Okay, but good.

Speaker 8:
[02:40] This is mine. But yes, I am texting this morning. Has anyone ever talked to someone with a completely opposite schedule? Because that's what's going on with me right now.

Speaker 6:
[02:51] Talk to somebody meaning like try to date?

Speaker 8:
[02:53] Yeah, dated, been in a relationship. So this guy that I used to talk to probably a little over a year ago, he has circled back into my life. But the reason we stopped talking is because we had opposite schedules and nothing has changed. Well, actually I did get this job, but it probably has made it a little bit worse. He goes in to work around 9 p.m., gets off like now and is about to go to bed. And obviously I just woke up two hours ago and I'm going to bed before 9 p.m. So I think this is like an impossible situation for us, but is there anyone who it worked for?

Speaker 6:
[03:29] I bet you there's got to be because I will hear, and maybe if you're some of those people, who's going to work now while there's significant others going home now, you'll have to call us up and tell us. So you're trying to figure out, can you make this thing work?

Speaker 8:
[03:43] Yeah, I do. I mean, I like this guy and I think on weekends maybe we could hang out or something, but even then it would mess up my entire schedule if I'm hanging out with him all night or I don't know.

Speaker 6:
[03:53] Does it work to have completely opposite schedules with your partner? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548?

Speaker 9:
[04:02] I mean, the true two ships passing in the night. That's you guys, you know what I mean?

Speaker 6:
[04:07] I was thinking to myself, what does he do for a living? Is he a drug dealer?

Speaker 10:
[04:11] What does he do?

Speaker 8:
[04:13] He makes music. So he goes into the studio really late. And I've talked to him before. I'm like, can you go in a little earlier or something? He's like, no, like the mood, the vibe, it's better to be there like later at night. Everyone's drinking.

Speaker 6:
[04:26] Really? That's when they record music?

Speaker 8:
[04:28] That's when he records. I think it's all up to whoever it is. But I do vividly remember like when we were talking last year, he would come over to like say hi or good morning to me when he was coming home at 7 a.m. and I was just waking up. We'd see each other for like two hours, eat breakfast, and then he'd go home and go to bed. But it was a very weird dynamic.

Speaker 6:
[04:49] Quick question for you on this. Is he the guy that makes the music or he's performing the music? I guess they both make music.

Speaker 8:
[04:55] He's a rapper.

Speaker 6:
[04:56] He is a rapper. You go from athletes to rappers.

Speaker 8:
[05:00] They find me.

Speaker 6:
[05:02] Oh, man. They do. Oh, man. Okay, 844 Live. I wanna hear. Phone lines are lighting up. Let's go. We got Bella here to start off. Bella, can this work for Anna who goes to work at five in the morning and this guy she's seeing comes home at seven in the morning or nine in the morning?

Speaker 11:
[05:25] Yeah, I think so because my wife, she works opposite schedule as I do.

Speaker 12:
[05:31] And we make it work.

Speaker 11:
[05:32] She works like evenings and I work midnight, early morning. Give me the hours. So we see each other sometimes from and go.

Speaker 6:
[05:40] So what hour do you go to work and come home and what hours does your girl go and come?

Speaker 11:
[05:47] So she does girl buff. She does usually like evenings, like dinnertime shift. And then I do Amazon Flex. I do like 3 a.m. to like 7 a.m. And she does like, you know, 5 p.m. to like 9 p.m. or sometimes 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Hey, what's the best time, what's the best time?

Speaker 6:
[06:06] It's interesting, because she could actually grub hub probably any time of the day. But what's the best time to do door dash grub hub Uber Eats?

Speaker 11:
[06:15] I would say like dinnertime, you make the most in tips.

Speaker 6:
[06:18] Okay, yeah. I feel bad when I order breakfast and the breakfast tip is like $4. I'm thinking to myself, why is that person wasting their time on a $4 tip?

Speaker 11:
[06:30] Well, that's actually good though. You would be surprised, a lot of people don't tip at all. I'm not even kidding. That's crazy. Yeah.

Speaker 12:
[06:36] So when are you...

Speaker 8:
[06:39] Sorry to change the topic, but when are you and your partner hanging out?

Speaker 6:
[06:43] Yeah, when do you guys... When do you guys... Coital or...

Speaker 11:
[06:49] I would say sometimes we have nap dates, where we just sleep at the same time during the day if we can. My mom's on hospice, her grandma's on hospice, so we're both also...

Speaker 9:
[06:59] There's a lot going on.

Speaker 6:
[07:00] But it works. But that's called love. See that, if there's love there, you can make things work. Thanks, Bella, I appreciate it. Hold on, Allison. What's up, Allison?

Speaker 11:
[07:10] Hi, I'm married and we're on opposite shifts. We have two kids and we've been that way our whole relationship.

Speaker 9:
[07:17] So how do you guys make time? Where do you even get time?

Speaker 11:
[07:22] Mostly on the weekends, but like we'll have like a day off here or there where we're off on the same day. So we'll spend time together then.

Speaker 9:
[07:31] Okay.

Speaker 11:
[07:32] But whenever we get a chance, but it works for us because it helps with raising the kids, you know.

Speaker 6:
[07:39] There's always somebody there.

Speaker 13:
[07:40] I'm the one who works the early morning.

Speaker 10:
[07:42] So I'm like you guys, I'm on my way to work now.

Speaker 2:
[07:44] I'm pulling in the parking lot now. And then he works in the afternoon, evening shift.

Speaker 6:
[07:49] Hey, do you find Allison that it helps your relationship because absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Speaker 1:
[07:56] I would say it does. Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[07:58] Otherwise, when you have a vacation, do you ever get on each other's nerves?

Speaker 2:
[08:03] Oh, we still take our time apart that we need if we want to be apart, but yeah.

Speaker 6:
[08:08] All right. I like it. So these are people that are saying, but I wonder if it's a new relationship, but that's harder. Yeah. Because these are married people. Like if you just get into it, you need to have.

Speaker 9:
[08:19] You need to get to know each other. You need the time to get to know each other.

Speaker 6:
[08:22] Scott, you and your girlfriend are on opposite schedules. How long have you guys been dating?

Speaker 4:
[08:29] For over a year and a half.

Speaker 6:
[08:30] Okay, so this is a new relationship. How do you guys make it work?

Speaker 4:
[08:35] We make it work. I work night shifts and she works during the day. So.

Speaker 2:
[08:40] When are you hanging out?

Speaker 4:
[08:43] We hang out every weekend, all weekend, but during the week we kind of be separated, but it still works out.

Speaker 6:
[08:52] Do you guys ever worry about each other and check each other's locations to make sure that she's home or you're home or something?

Speaker 4:
[09:00] We stay at locations all the time.

Speaker 14:
[09:02] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[09:03] Okay.

Speaker 10:
[09:04] It's not no worries though.

Speaker 4:
[09:06] It's just, you know.

Speaker 6:
[09:07] And I mentioned this, that this is Anna just getting into a relationship with this guy in the beginning. Was it tough to do dates?

Speaker 11:
[09:16] It was, because he would take four dates in his phone.

Speaker 1:
[09:19] Oh, where did you come from?

Speaker 15:
[09:20] Who's that?

Speaker 3:
[09:21] They're hanging out now.

Speaker 6:
[09:23] This is their time. Oh my God.

Speaker 11:
[09:24] Yeah, because I took off a day during the week just so I could hang out with him. But by the way, first time long.

Speaker 4:
[09:32] Hey, what's your name?

Speaker 6:
[09:33] I didn't get your name.

Speaker 11:
[09:35] I'm Skye.

Speaker 6:
[09:36] Okay, Skye and Skye on the phone.

Speaker 8:
[09:40] See, I don't know if Mojo would let me take off a day to hang out with this guy.

Speaker 6:
[09:44] No, Kevknows is taking a day off today so he can go work. He's side hustling.

Speaker 11:
[09:49] We usually only have like 45 minutes together before one of us leaves the house, but it works.

Speaker 6:
[09:56] Okay.

Speaker 2:
[09:57] I mean, it's definitely tough in the beginning because he takes all day to answer the phone, but...

Speaker 6:
[10:02] Oh, geez. All right. We're doing dating counseling right now for you guys. Pick up the damn phone, Skye. Skye is calling you. I appreciate you guys. It's nice that you guys are together. If you guys are together and you don't get much time, you only got 45 minutes. You guys get to it, okay?

Speaker 4:
[10:19] We got the weekend. Don't worry about it.

Speaker 6:
[10:23] All right. Take care of yourself. We appreciate you guys. Rachel, you used to work third shift. That's got to be the toughest shift in the world.

Speaker 16:
[10:31] I did at a nursing home.

Speaker 6:
[10:33] Oh my gosh. Although, can you sleep while they're sleeping?

Speaker 17:
[10:37] I did one time on accident and I thought I was going to lose my job, but I was good.

Speaker 6:
[10:42] Okay. All right. So what is the schedules now between you and your husband?

Speaker 17:
[10:49] Well, back then, I worked 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and he was 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. So when we were dating, we've been together about 10 or 11 years now. So schedules have changed. I used to go to his house and wake him up. And then when I would go into work at 10 p.m., he used to come to my job, which is also his job, and hang out with me for about an hour and then go home and go to bed.

Speaker 6:
[11:13] Wow, it's amazing. You know, it's funny as a texter just sent this in, this is Dwight said, you guys need to be more intentional with your time. You probably are way more intentional, aren't you?

Speaker 17:
[11:24] Oh yeah, like back then, I would have to wake up hours before I'd go into work just to go to his house to have a family party. Whoa.

Speaker 6:
[11:32] Oh my gosh, that's wild.

Speaker 12:
[11:34] That's tough.

Speaker 6:
[11:35] And you forget about that too.

Speaker 17:
[11:36] So if you were to get up and be at a job at 6 a.m., it's like getting up at like 2 in the morning just to go hang out.

Speaker 12:
[11:42] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[11:42] Wow. That's amazing.

Speaker 17:
[11:43] It's hard. It's very hard, but you make it work.

Speaker 6:
[11:46] Yeah. Anytime you have like a third shift like that, if you're working the late nights, your just family life in general is more difficult. Listen to this. This is romance here. Kelly is taking her husband to work right now and she's going home, or your husband's going to work and you're going home. Do you guys do phone sex or something on the ride, like while you're driving? Or what do you guys do?

Speaker 9:
[12:08] They're right next to each other.

Speaker 6:
[12:11] Kelly?

Speaker 17:
[12:11] Hello, yes. I just dropped my husband off at work.

Speaker 11:
[12:15] We only have one vehicle.

Speaker 16:
[12:16] I just dropped him off and I'm heading back home now.

Speaker 6:
[12:19] Do you guys ever parking lot sex or what do you do?

Speaker 16:
[12:23] No, no, definitely not.

Speaker 11:
[12:26] He works Monday through Friday. I work Friday through Sunday. I work 12-hour shifts.

Speaker 17:
[12:32] He works like 10 and a half hour shifts.

Speaker 6:
[12:34] Oh, man.

Speaker 11:
[12:35] We have two kids, so it works out perfect, actually.

Speaker 6:
[12:38] You only need one car. That's the nicest part, huh? You don't have to have two cars.

Speaker 11:
[12:43] Yeah, it sucks.

Speaker 18:
[12:44] I have to take them to work during the week and get up early because I have to get up early on the weekends, but that's okay.

Speaker 6:
[12:51] Okay. All right. See, it works. So you think Anna should try this? Although I'm not real fond of the fact that she's dating rappers now. I don't like that idea.

Speaker 17:
[13:00] Yeah, I think it works.

Speaker 11:
[13:02] I mean, it works out for us.

Speaker 17:
[13:04] We plan date nights, and so it works out for us. All right.

Speaker 6:
[13:07] We'll see what happens here. Anna, have you ever thought of dating like a doctor?

Speaker 9:
[13:12] A normal person?

Speaker 8:
[13:14] Where are they? Why aren't they in my DMs?

Speaker 6:
[13:17] They're right now on the way to work. Yes. There you go. All right. All right. This is for Demi Lovato Tickets. And we do have Secret Sound coming up here in a second, so we don't go anywhere. This was the year that Big Sean was the first rapper to perform at the White House.

Speaker 2:
[13:37] You're the first rapper to perform at the White House. How does that feel?

Speaker 5:
[13:41] How do you think it feels?

Speaker 19:
[13:43] Do you think we should get more artists to star Sean playing at the White House?

Speaker 6:
[13:46] That's crazy. They gave that honor to Big Sean. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge took over social media.

Speaker 5:
[13:53] In just a couple of weeks, the Ice Bucket Challenge to strike out ALS has grown into a social media phenomenon.

Speaker 9:
[13:58] God, that was huge.

Speaker 5:
[13:59] Not to mention for a great cause.

Speaker 6:
[14:01] Did you do it? We all did, yeah.

Speaker 9:
[14:03] Oh yeah, we did.

Speaker 20:
[14:04] That is not well understood yet.

Speaker 6:
[14:06] I challenge Anna Robb. I never did it. Do you remember this song? See, I had the big song on the radio. What year was this?

Speaker 21:
[14:22] Prove what a big brain you have. Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

Speaker 6:
[14:32] Hi Mark, how you doing buddy?

Speaker 7:
[14:34] Hey, good man, good morning.

Speaker 6:
[14:36] How are you? Good morning. What's going on, buddy?

Speaker 7:
[14:38] Oh, nothing, just drinking some coffee and watching the sun come up right now.

Speaker 6:
[14:41] You know what? Life can't get better than that, man. I swear to you, that's the beautiful, you know, this is like Yellowstone, like watching, you know, hanging out with those guys. What year was that?

Speaker 7:
[14:55] 2014.

Speaker 22:
[14:56] Yes.

Speaker 6:
[14:59] It only gets better. Congratulations. All these guys keep winning Demi Lovato tickets. Are you a Demi Lovato fan?

Speaker 7:
[15:07] Dude, you know, personally, I mean, I like some of her songs, but I've got a 15 year old daughter who's like in love with Demi Lovato.

Speaker 6:
[15:15] Where does she go to school, Mark?

Speaker 7:
[15:17] She goes to Davis Junior High School.

Speaker 6:
[15:19] Hello. How are you? And congratulations. Mark from Sterling Heights. I appreciate you listening to the show, man.

Speaker 7:
[15:28] You got it. Appreciate you guys.

Speaker 6:
[15:30] All right. Hang on one second. Enjoy that. Tell your daughter to have a great day at school today. And we're going to give you a chance to win with Secret Sound. $13,000 from DFCU Financial, the Cash Back Credit Union. What is this sound? It's worth 13 grand. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th caller, 844-665-6548. Good luck.

Speaker 21:
[15:58] In The Morning's Dirty On The 30.

Speaker 6:
[16:00] We're going to get a look at what's trending in the Dirty On The 30 with Shannon. Good morning, Shannon.

Speaker 9:
[16:04] Good morning, New England Patriots coach, Mike Vrabel is finally addressing the controversy regarding those photos of him and Diana Rossini looking very cozy at that resort in Arizona and admitting, yeah, it caused some real fallout in his personal life behind the scenes.

Speaker 14:
[16:19] You know, I've had some difficult conversations with people that I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive. You know, we believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me, that starts with me. We never want our actions to negatively affect the team. We never want to be the cause of a distraction. You know, and what I... Those are comments and questions that I've answered for the team and with the team will keep those private and, you know, to ourselves. I care deeply about this football team and I'm excited to coach them. I also know that I'm going to attack each day with humility and focus. And what I can promise you is that my family, this organization, the team, the staff, the coaches, everybody, our fans most importantly, will get the best version of me going forward. I like that.

Speaker 6:
[17:22] He did not really address it, but does he need to? I know that there's many people that were upset by that. They wanted to hear like some big thing like, hey, you know, we had an affair or something like that.

Speaker 9:
[17:35] I agree with you. That's personal. He needs to address it with his wife and his family.

Speaker 6:
[17:39] And honestly, I think that it's, you know, it is wife, it is wife family and maybe employer because obviously it sheds a light on things. But he even said, I addressed it with the players and the players were good with my addressing of this. Now, of course they're gonna be good because you don't want to get cut. You know what I mean? And you want to get playing time, but it is gonna be interesting to see what happens. I can't believe that she had to resign or did resign from her job.

Speaker 9:
[18:06] I don't think she had to. I think she was just...

Speaker 6:
[18:08] She wanted to? Yeah. Yeah. You know what? The Athletic is the one that does this, you know, they go after people and they're getting sued right now by the FBI director, Cash Patel because of, they called them an alcoholic or something like that. I wonder if Raeble and those guys will go after the Athletic on this one too. They say that the Athletic is one of the most sued media outlets.

Speaker 9:
[18:32] Really?

Speaker 8:
[18:32] What would his argument be?

Speaker 6:
[18:34] Well, his argument would be they're taking pictures from this and making them look like something. And remember back in the day, there were some massive lawsuits that cost the National Enquirer, which is one of those tabloids that I don't even think is around anymore.

Speaker 9:
[18:49] Yeah, I don't think it is either. I mean, the Daily Mail is always being sued as well. It's kind of in that same bucket. But Kendall Jenner and Euphoria's Jacob Elordi have quietly been hanging out for the past few months. Now, I told you about this a couple of weeks ago, but now everybody's talking about it because of Coachella where fans noticed them spending a ton of time together at the shows, at the various events. Sources tell me they are keeping things casual for now. And by the way, they've known each other for a really long time. They're in the same social circles. So they've hung out a lot over the past couple of years. If you have not heard yet, IKEA is set to open a pop-up shop early this summer at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills here in Michigan. So this is not going to be a normal store. If you heard a second location is coming to Michigan, like the Canton one, kind of, sort of, it's not going to be like the Canton one. This pop-up will only be 4500 square feet. And basically you're going to get to go in, they're going to have maybe 500 products, but this is your chance to meet with an IKEA employee to plan, like if you want to renovate your kitchen, they'll sit there with you and do that.

Speaker 6:
[19:56] Two questions, will it have the meatballs?

Speaker 9:
[19:59] I don't think the restaurant's going to be there.

Speaker 6:
[20:01] Well, then I'm not going. And will it have a maze? Like, cause it's a freaking maze. I hate IKEA, cause once you walk in there, you got to go through the whole damn store.

Speaker 9:
[20:10] This is teeny though, 4500 square feet isn't a lot. And we've got a Metro Detroit native getting some serious money on Jeopardy right now. Jamie Ding is now a 28-time Jeopardy champion, and will be back to compete tonight. He's now won over $774,000, his fifth all-time in Jeopardy victories. He is a 2009 graduate of Grosse Point North High School. His dad is actually a professor at Wayne State. So good luck to him tonight. And by the way, Mojo, I was going to tell you this. I heard there's a new Jeopardy spinoff for sports fans called ESPN Jeopardy.

Speaker 6:
[20:51] Oh yeah.

Speaker 9:
[20:52] It's going to be hosted by Joe Buck. You can watch it on Disney Plus and Hulu. Yep. Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[20:57] Interesting. Well, I like Joe Buck.

Speaker 5:
[20:59] So, all right.

Speaker 6:
[21:00] By the way, we need a contestant, speaking of contestants, for the five to 655, Lydia says, text her, I want to play to 95500, if you would like to be on. You could be on this morning playing. So, text, I want to play to 95500.

Speaker 9:
[21:15] Miss anything or want to hear something again, just go back and catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5:
[21:21] Get more dirt at mojointhemorning.com. Oh, jeez.

Speaker 6:
[21:24] What did I just do?

Speaker 21:

[21:31] Oh, I pushed the wrong thing. That's the wrong theme. Go right into this one here, please. It is time now for Mojo's Secret Sound. Secret Sound here on the In The Morning show, giving you a chance to win $13,000 from DFCU Financial, the cash back credit union. Welcome Alyssa from Roseville on the phone with us right now. Hi, Alyssa.

Speaker 23:
[22:07] Hello, hello.

Speaker 6:
[22:08] Alyssa, are you a first time contestant in the Secret Sound?

Speaker 23:
[22:14] I am. First time, long time.

Speaker 6:
[22:17] First time, long time too, Alyssa. Here's the thing with this. I keep waiting to get like a person that tries again because we've been doing this for so long. You know, it's been three weeks and we have not had a winner in Secret Sound.

Speaker 18:
[22:33] Yeah, I've been trying to call for three weeks.

Speaker 6:
[22:34] Okay, so it's tough to get through on the phone lines then. All right, here we go. Are you ready for this? This is the contest to win, and this is going to be a big deal here right now. This is the contest to win $13,000. What would you do with the money?

Speaker 18:
[22:51] I recently got into a car accident, so I would use the money for that. My brother's getting married in two weeks, so being able to give him a nice gift would be nice.

Speaker 6:
[23:02] Oh my gosh, that would be amazing. All right, this is Alyssa from Roseville. Alyssa, what is Mojo's secret sound for $13,000 from DFCU Financial?

Speaker 18:
[23:23] I think that it's a bottle of mixed nuts or in the pan that you're taking.

Speaker 6:
[23:31] So, you think it's a bottle of nuts, mixed nuts, you say specifically, and we're shaking the bottle. Yeah, shaking the bottle. I'm moving my finger, cause I want Shannon to think this.

Speaker 9:
[23:50] I know, cause I know which button's right and which button's wrong.

Speaker 3:
[23:56] I thought that could be right, yeah.

Speaker 6:
[23:58] Alyssa, you are paying attention.

Speaker 9:
[24:00] I was holding my breath.

Speaker 6:
[24:01] And you are as close as can be, and you do not win, unfortunately. Which means that at 7.30, somebody's gonna have another chance, and that's gotta be you, Alyssa. You gotta be the first to get through to us, okay?

Speaker 11:
[24:14] I would, I'm gonna try.

Speaker 6:
[24:16] You better, come on, you better try. Try as hard as you possibly can. I want Alyssa from Roseville on with us at 7.30, and think of another guest.

Speaker 21:

Speaker 6:
[25:12] How you doing, Ruben? Laura, say hi to Ruben.

Speaker 16:
[25:15] Hi, Ruben. Hey, Laura.

Speaker 6:
[25:19] All right, here's the story, Ruben. She's played with us now the last eight mornings. She's getting close to double digits. She's pretty good. You think you can beat her? I'm going to try. All right, we're locking you up, Laura. Good luck to you. OK. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty always goes to the champion. Good luck to you too, Ruben. Question number one, Zoe Kravitz is sparking engagement rumors with this former One Direction member who is about to kick off his residency at Madison Square Garden. Who am I referring to?

Speaker 8:
[26:28] Two.

Speaker 10:
[26:30] I forgot.

Speaker 6:
[26:31] Pass on that one. I can't believe it.

Speaker 1:
[26:33] Come on.

Speaker 6:
[26:35] Question number four, the reality show that Taylor Frankie Paul starred on just resumed production for season five. What's it called?

Speaker 9:
[27:09] Am I giving him number four?

Speaker 6:
[27:10] I say yes.

Speaker 9:
[27:11] I think so. Okay, Ruben, you did great. You got four out of five.

Speaker 15:
[27:14] Nice.

Speaker 6:
[27:15] Four out of five. And I think he missed the easiest of the questions.

Speaker 9:
[27:18] He did. I think so too.

Speaker 6:
[27:19] And I think that it's gonna cost him. Laura, you ready? I am. For nine wins in a row, Zoe Kravitz is sparking engagement rumors with this former One Direction member who is about to kick off his residency at Madison Square Garden. Who am I referring to? Harry Styles.

Speaker 9:
[27:39] Yes.

Speaker 6:
[27:41] Question two. A big fat rat ran onto the field in Chicago yesterday. At Wrigley Field. What MLB team calls Wrigley Field home?

Speaker 12:
[27:56] Duck Cubs.

Speaker 6:
[27:57] Yes, I love it. Duck Cubs. Actually, the Bears, whatever, the Cubs. It was pretty funny too. It was just like just sitting there the entire time and everybody's like freaking out. And then when it ran by the dugout for the Philadelphia Phillies, all the players were freaking. Question number three. This is the question that Ruben missed. It was revealed yesterday that Drake's new album Iceman will drop on May the 15th. What Canadian city is Drake from? Three seconds.

Speaker 9:
[28:30] Toronto? Yes. Yeah, three to two.

Speaker 6:

Speaker 8:
[28:54] Three Seconds.

Speaker 17:
[28:55] Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Speaker 6:
[28:57] Yes.

Speaker 17:
[28:57] Four to three.

Speaker 6:
[28:58] And a perfect score if you get this one right. Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt. All these ladies look gorgeous on the red carpet this week for the premiere of what new movie?

Speaker 17:
[29:12] The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Speaker 10:
[29:13] You got it.

Speaker 6:
[29:17] She just rolls. It's gonna take somebody getting five out of five and her may be missing like a question kind of like how Ruben missed that question. So Ruben, you wouldn't have won anyway, so don't worry about it. You got a good prize. We're gonna set you up with some gift cards to checkers so you can go get yourself some burgers and fries. And it was great having you on, man. I appreciate you for listening to us in West Michigan on House and X. Have a great morning, man. Have a great day. All right, so Laura, what's the story, Laura? Speaker 23:
[30:13] All right, sounds good. Hang on.

Speaker 21:
[30:16] It's In The Morning, five is $6.55.

[31:55] Oh, I love it. You're nervous. I can tell from that voice.

Speaker 2:
[31:59] She's driving to my job if I don't hurry up and call her.

Speaker 6:
[32:03] All right. Let's do this fast. Bianca, what do we got planned?

Speaker 24:
[32:06] All right. So Ashley's brother still lives with mom, and we're going to pretend that Ashley heard a rumor saying that mom has a favorite child.

Speaker 6:
[32:13] Okay.

Speaker 24:
[32:14] And it's not Ashley.

Speaker 6:
[32:15] And it's not you. Ashley, here we go. These are the lies the listeners need to listen for. Okay. Lie number one, you got to say, I ran into Brenda earlier. Who's Brenda?

Speaker 18:
[32:29] That's my aunt.

Speaker 14:
[32:30] Okay.

Speaker 6:
[32:30] Lie number two.

Speaker 9:
[32:31] She told me something very upsetting.

Speaker 6:
[32:34] Lie number three.

Speaker 14:
[32:36] So you love Ashton more than me.

Speaker 6:
[32:38] And Ashton now is your bro?

Speaker 2:
[32:42] Yes.

Speaker 6:
[32:43] We got Ashley and Ashton. That's got to be confusing when they're screaming at you guys when you're kids. Lie number...

Speaker 2:
[32:50] His nickname is Booby, so I might have to say Booby.

Speaker 6:
[32:53] Yeah, go with Booby. Okay. All right. You love Booby more than me. Lie number four.

Speaker 8:
[32:59] And you wouldn't care if I moved away?

Speaker 6:
[33:02] Oh my gosh. Wow. And lie number five. I see how it is. You're messed up, mom. Are you ready?

Speaker 24:
[33:09] Oh, okay. Yes.

Speaker 6:
[33:11] All right. We're calling your mom. She's on her way to come tell you that she doesn't love you. Hang on one second. Here we go. Five lies. Tell your mom.

Speaker 9:
[33:25] Cord, your name and reason for calling.

Speaker 12:
[33:27] I'll see if this person is available.

Speaker 2:
[33:32] Mom, it's me.

Speaker 9:
[33:33] Thanks.

Speaker 20:
[33:34] Please stay on the line.

Speaker 12:
[33:38] Hello.

Speaker 2:
[33:40] Hey. Hello.

Speaker 20:
[33:43] Can you hear me?

Speaker 2:
[33:46] You can hear me?

Speaker 16:
[33:48] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[33:54] I had ran into Brenda. What happened? She told me some upsetting news.

Speaker 16:
[34:05] What?

Speaker 2:
[34:06] She told me that you love... She told me that you love Booby more than me.

Speaker 23:
[34:12] Why the f*** can't you some s*** like that?

Speaker 2:
[34:14] That don't sound right, Ashley. That don't sound right. And you don't care if I move away?

Speaker 16:
[34:24] Why would I say something like that? Now, Ashley, you...

Speaker 23:
[34:27] something happened.

Speaker 2:
[34:28] Is there something going on with you? That don't sound right.

Speaker 23:
[34:30] Brenda don't... that don't sound like something Brenda was saying.

Speaker 2:
[34:33] Brenda don't talk like that. I see how it is. You're messed up, Mom.

Speaker 23:
[34:41] Are you mad at me for something?

Speaker 16:
[34:43] What did I do?

Speaker 2:
[34:44] I never did anything to you. I always treat you with respect.

Speaker 16:
[34:48] Brenda, you sure Brenda said something like that?

Speaker 2:
[34:50] That don't seem like something Brenda was saying.

Speaker 16:
[34:53] Let me get Brenda out here, because I got to see what's going on. Lord, I'm just so nervous right now.

Speaker 2:
[35:00] Why would I say something like that? I love you. I love you. You're my girl. I would never...

Speaker 12:
[35:06] I would do anything for you.

Speaker 2:
[35:07] Why would you say something like that? Brenda says that? For real?

Speaker 16:
[35:11] That don't sound like what Brenda would say. I got to find out, y'all.

Speaker 2:
[35:15] Don't give me a heart attack.

Speaker 16:
[35:17] I'm worried now.

Speaker 2:
[35:23] You know I wouldn't say nothing like that, actually. You've been knowing me for a long time. You know I wouldn't say nothing like that. Get Brenda on the phone. Get Brenda on the phone.

Speaker 8:
[35:35] Okay, hold on.

Speaker 2:
[35:36] Hold on now, just get her on the phone. Calm down.

Speaker 8:
[35:39] Hold on, hold on, sweetie.

Speaker 16:
[35:41] Let me see if I can get Brenda.

Speaker 2:
[35:44] Wow, Brenda, that don't seem like something Brenda would say.

Speaker 11:
[35:47] It's so weird to me.

Speaker 2:
[35:49] I'm just worried.

Speaker 11:
[35:51] I'm just worried.

Speaker 2:
[35:54] Just get her on the phone. Just get her on the phone. All right, honey, hold on.

Speaker 11:
[35:59] Let's see if I can find her number. Where did you see Brenda at, sweetie?

Speaker 2:
[36:06] Oh, Lord. My heart went to the store yesterday.

Speaker 16:
[36:12] Brenda got a car?

Speaker 2:
[36:13] Brenda ain't got no car, though. And it was my sister Brenda.

Speaker 11:
[36:18] Let me get Brenda on here.

Speaker 2:
[36:20] Let me see if I can get her.

Speaker 16:
[36:30] Come on, Ashley, don't sound right.

Speaker 3:
[36:31] Sound something strange.

Speaker 2:
[36:33] Hello? Is Brenda on here? Hello?

Speaker 16:
[36:38] Hey girl, I'm worried about my child.

Speaker 2:
[36:42] Is Brenda on here?

Speaker 16:
[36:43] Girl, she said that. Ashley?

Speaker 2:
[36:46] Is Brenda on here?

Speaker 11:
[36:48] I'm here.

Speaker 16:
[36:49] You're down here.

Speaker 11:
[36:51] Yeah, hey, what's going on?

Speaker 2:
[36:54] Tell my mom what you told me about her loving Boogie more than me.

Speaker 23:
[37:01] Ashley, I ain't even seen you. What? Something ain't right.

Speaker 12:
[37:04] I gotta get to the hospital.

Speaker 2:
[37:06] Ashley, something's going on with Ashley.

Speaker 13:
[37:08] I gotta get up here.

Speaker 16:
[37:09] Something ain't right with my daughter.

Speaker 2:
[37:10] Ashley, don't. Something ain't right. I don't know if somebody gave my child something, but something ain't right.

Speaker 15:
[37:16] I gotta get in this hospital.

Speaker 2:
[37:18] Something ain't right.

Speaker 23:
[37:19] Hey, hey. Something ain't right, Brenda.

Speaker 2:
[37:21] Ashley, don't talk like this.

Speaker 6:
[37:24] Ashley's mom and Ashley's aunt. You guys there?

Speaker 23:
[37:29] Yeah, something ain't right with my child.

Speaker 6:
[37:31] So I got, I got, Francis is Ashley's mom and Brenda is Ashley's aunt. Aunt Brenda, right?

Speaker 23:
[37:40] Yeah.

Speaker 13:
[37:45] Something had happened to my daughter.

Speaker 6:
[37:47] Mom and aunt?

Speaker 11:
[37:48] I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 6:
[37:50] This is Mojo from the In The Morning radio show. And your daughter and your niece, Ashley, had you guys on, five lies to tell your mom, and just phone scammed you. Mom! Mom! Mom, real quick, when daughters and sons do this to their mom, they're doing it for a good reason because they're trying to win you a prize and tell you how much they love you. And Ashley, what do you want to say to your mom?

Speaker 2:
[39:03] Mom, I love you so much. You my girl. You my girl.

Speaker 7:
[39:05] Oh, yeah! Yeah, but don't do that!

Speaker 6:
[39:12] Can I, wait, can I ask, Aunt Brenda, what do you think about this whole thing? Oh, my God.

Speaker 3:
[39:36] I love her.

Speaker 6:
[39:37] Carrie, what's up? It's In The Morning.

Speaker 11:
[39:41] Oh, my God. Y'all had me balling this morning.

Speaker 1:
[39:43] Oh, my God.

Speaker 2:
[39:45] Oh, geez.

Speaker 6:
[39:46] I felt so bad, though.

Speaker 11:
[39:47] She was crying.

Speaker 23:
[39:48] I felt so bad.

Speaker 6:
[39:49] Yeah. That was, don't do that. Don't do that. My daughter, she was talking and thinking her daughter is doing some kind of drugs. Allie, what's up? It's In The Morning. Hi.

Speaker 18:
[40:00] Hi. Oh, my gosh. First of all, first time, long time. Oh, my gosh. You had tears in my eyes. You had me screaming at the radio. Mojo, please say something.

Speaker 16:
[40:14] I wanted to. You were breaking my heart.

Speaker 18:
[40:17] I needed you to interrupt.

Speaker 6:
[40:19] I didn't know what to do, especially because Bianca was texting her saying, get the aunt on the phone. I'm like, oh my God. Don't do this to me.

Speaker 18:
[40:29] I was crying knowing my relationship with my mom, hearing how immediately panicked she was. And she's like, oh my gosh, honey, whatever I have to do, give me a second.

Speaker 7:
[40:38] I was like, oh my gosh, help her.

Speaker 6:
[40:40] That was so cute. Yeah, thank you for the call, Allie. Call more often, please. We want to hear from you more often. What's up, Rochelle?

Speaker 16:
[40:47] Y'all terrible.

Speaker 13:
[40:48] I can't know. Y'all terrible. I heard the fear coming from that lady's eyes. I said, Mojo, you better jump in and say something. Y'all sat there and let that woman go crazy. Y'all terrible.

Speaker 6:
[40:59] I know, I know. I feel bad.

Speaker 2:
[41:01] Mojo ain't no good.

Speaker 6:
[41:03] Yeah, that was bad.

Speaker 13:
[41:04] No good.

Speaker 6:
[41:05] I love you, Rochelle.

Speaker 13:
[41:07] Love you guys.

Speaker 6:
[41:08] Bye.

Speaker 21:
[41:09] Mojo's Secret Sound is giving you real cash. Listen four times a morning, 6.30, 7.30, 8.30 and 9.30, to get yours on In The Morning.

Speaker 6:
[41:26] All right, In The Morning Show. Zach, make sure you leave those calls too and at the end of The Five Lies because those calls were great calls. In The Morning Show, we are your home of war of the roses. The second date update, The Five Lies, Tell Your Mom Phone Scam You Just Heard, Shannon's Dirties, Am I The A-Hole, Throwback Throwdown and more. So yesterday was a weird day for me. I went home, I took like a 45-minute nap and I set an alarm, I bounced up from my nap and I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna try to get a whole bunch of stuff done. I did. I actually did something that I haven't done in a while. I went and golfed by myself. Yeah, I went up to a golf course and said, hey, is there any way I can get out? There was nobody out. I couldn't believe it. The weather was great. I golfed by myself, but I had one problem though. I didn't want to hit any shots on par threes because I thought this would be my luck. I'd get a hole in one and I'm not with anybody to witness it.

Speaker 9:
[42:22] Not a golf person here. Par three means you're supposed to get it in three.

Speaker 6:
[42:25] You're supposed to get it in three. It's shorter hole. If you get a hole in one, it's obviously celebrated. Everybody gets free drinks. You know what I mean? It's all crazy. The problem, though, was I kept thinking, this would be my luck. I'd get a hole in one and nobody would believe me. So it's crazy. I did have something happen to me yesterday that I wanted to bring up. I wanted to talk about this. And we've always done the you text the wrong person kind of topics, but I want to know if you've ever invited the wrong person. So this is totally different. Yesterday, I reached out to a friend to see if he wanted to golf with me today and I sent a text to him, but I sent it to the wrong guy with that name. And now I'm going to use a name in this. I'm going to use the name Andy in this because I have no friend's name Andy. Okay. So I don't want to actually say the guy's name because it will be embarrassing, but I have a guy Andy who I sent a text to and when I sent the text to him, I said, hey, weather looks like it's going to be incredible tomorrow. Do you want to go golfing? And right away I could see the dot, dot, dot, dot. It's like they're looking at the thing and I'm like, oh, okay, I'm going to get an answer back. And the answer was, let me check my schedule. I'll have to call in. And I'm thinking to myself, that's weird, because I don't think he, you know, necessarily has to work, you know, to call in. Who is he going to call into? And then I did a little deep diving on Andy on my phone and realized I invited the wrong Andy and the Andy that I invited is not a guy I want to golf with.

Speaker 15:
[43:57] Is he even a golfer?

Speaker 6:
[43:59] You know what he is, because he said he was going to try to get off from work.

Speaker 9:
[44:03] Did you go back then and say, oh my god, I'm so sorry, I got my numbers mixed up?

Speaker 6:
[44:06] No, because I felt like that would, because honestly, Shannon, I was letting it play out a little bit, because I was thinking to myself, God, I hope he can't call in.

Speaker 9:
[44:13] And then I also, But what if he calls in?

Speaker 6:
[44:15] Then it was going to be, you know what it was going to be? It was going to be the wrong Doris again. Remember that story?

Speaker 9:
[44:20] I mean, that story lives in infamy, but.

Speaker 6:
[44:22] What happened? So this happens to me a ton. The wrong Doris was, I text Doris wanting to get Chelsea a massage, okay? So I said, Doris, you want to come over and I'll also have dinner for you next Wednesday. Doris the masseuse was not the Doris that I text. I texted Doris from the United Way, and all of a sudden Wednesday comes along, I go, Chelsea, I got a huge surprise for you. She goes, what's that? I go, you're never going to believe who's at the door. I go open to the door, and it's United Way Doris.

Speaker 9:
[44:53] Who used to help us with all of our community service stuff we would do, our time team.

Speaker 6:
[44:57] Yeah, it was crazy.

Speaker 9:
[44:58] That is so good.

Speaker 6:
[44:59] So Chelsea was like, thinking I'm inviting a threesome over with Doris from United Way.

Speaker 9:
[45:02] Okay, I feel like we all have to be better about labeling people in our phone, because I just did this last week. I am very grateful that every other week, I have a woman who comes to my house and cleans, okay? And her name is Tanya, and she's lovely. And so I had texted her and said, hey, I bought new sheets for everybody's bed. I was telling her where they are. If you could just wash the sheets first, that would be really awesome. I appreciate you, da, da, da. I get a text message back immediately from Tanya, but a different Tanya, the Tanya who was my salesperson at Moran Chevrolet.

Speaker 6:
[45:32] Oh my God, that's funny.

Speaker 9:
[45:33] And she was like, if you need me to come over and help you clean, I will wash your sheets for you. I felt so stupid.

Speaker 6:
[45:42] Oh my God.

Speaker 9:
[45:43] I was in a hurry, you know, and you just like... She texted me immediately, the car, the Moran, Tanya.

Speaker 6:
[45:51] Thank God she did, right? Otherwise you would not have had clean sheets on your bed. They wouldn't know where they were. So here, let me tell you this. So here's the story. So I'm waiting for Andy, OK? So I'm waiting for the Andy response back. Took forever and ever and ever. And I'm thinking to myself, crap, do I invite the right Andy? Or now I'll have to have a three. We'll have a threesome instead of a twosome. And it's easy to get two out on golf, and then it is to get three or four because it's tough to get. So I sat there and waited and waited and waited. And then finally, I get a text back from Andy, my alias Andy, and he can't get off. So then I invited the right. So I was able to pull it off.

Speaker 8:
[46:34] You played it off like you still wanted him, like, oh, bummer.

Speaker 6:
[46:36] I know. I was like, yeah, well, we'll do it again sometime. Later this summer, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or text is 95500. Have you ever invited text or sent the wrong text to the wrong person, where now all of a sudden, what do you do? You're committed. You know what I mean? Like, has this ever happened with girls? Have you ever asked somebody out on a date or guys, you've asked somebody on a date, it's the wrong person? Hi, Heather, who are you talking to there? Who's that?

Speaker 11:
[47:14] I thought it was Lydia.

Speaker 6:
[47:16] No, Lydia put you on hold to talk to us. Tell me the story that you told Lydia. What's going on?

Speaker 16:
[47:22] Oh, I was just saying I was calling in first time, long time. And I was just saying with you guys labeling on the phone, I have a lot of people that I know with the same name. And so to keep them straight, I won't remember their last name. So after their name, I'll put parentheses and be like, oh, this is my friend's daughter, or I know them from cheer or 4-H. So I know what person is what.

Speaker 9:
[47:52] Can I tell you, I do that as well, a ton. Like Smith has a playdate tomorrow, so I have his mom in there as, you know, Liam's mom in parentheses, so I know who she is. I still, this is such a reminder to everybody to like slow down a little bit, cause I still, I'll type in the first couple letters of the name and then just start typing my text without checking who I'm actually sending the dang text to.

Speaker 6:
[48:13] Yeah, and you know what? You gotta be careful of that cause of group texting. When you group text trying to get Liam's mom, all of a sudden, now you're group texting some other Liam that's in there.

Speaker 9:
[48:22] For sure.

Speaker 6:
[48:23] Or mom. Hey, real quick, Heather, what's the most common name in your phone of saved numbers?

Speaker 9:
[48:29] Katie.

Speaker 6:
[48:30] Katie's, lots of Katie's in Heather's phone. We need to have a Mojo in there. 844-MOJO-LIVE. What's going on? Michael, how you doing?

Speaker 10:
[48:39] Hey, good morning. Hey, I got a tip for you, Mojo, on those part three.

Speaker 6:
[48:43] Yes.

Speaker 10:
[48:43] I go golfing by myself all the time, because usually my friends are always working when I go.

Speaker 6:
[48:48] Yeah.

Speaker 10:
[48:49] You got to film yourself.

Speaker 6:
[48:50] You know what? I actually thought of that for like one second. I thought, you know what? I'm going to film this thing. I'll put it up there. And then I thought to myself, I'm like, that would again be such a bummer that the only thing you caught it on was film. Like I want my buds there. You know what I mean? I want the guys there. I get it.

Speaker 10:
[49:07] I understand the excitement from everybody is what really makes it a hole in one.

Speaker 6:
[49:11] Yeah, like I don't, I got to be honest with you, when I get on the scale in the morning and I see that scale go down a little bit, I want to wake Chelsea up because I want somebody to see it. I'm the only one that's seeing it. What's going on Brandy? How you doing?

Speaker 17:
[49:24] Good, how are you guys? First time long time.

Speaker 13:
[49:26] Hey Brandy, how are you?

Speaker 17:
[49:30] So my sister, her birthday was on a Saturday and I talked to her all the time, call her all the time. The one time that I called her, she text me and was saying she was having a bad day. So I called her and saying happy birthday all the way through, with a little raspy voice, it's 8 a.m. And then they hung up. So I was like, all right, let me call back and be a normal person this time and see if she's all right. The lady answered the phone and she goes, Hola, bueno, like complete wrong phone number.

Speaker 13:
[50:00] And I just saying happy birthday all the way through to this lady.

Speaker 6:
[50:03] She's thinking this lady's crazy.

Speaker 17:
[50:07] Why she did the second time? That's what surprised me.

Speaker 6:
[50:09] Oh, she's like this lady. Maybe I'm getting a birthday gift. Storm, what happened? Hi, it's In The Morning.

Speaker 17:
[50:16] Hi.

Speaker 24:
[50:16] When I first of all, first time, look, I love you.

Speaker 11:
[50:22] So excited.

Speaker 18:
[50:23] Anywho. So I was like 15 or 16. And my mom was inviting our family to my brother's birthday party.

Speaker 11:
[50:33] He was 13 or 14 at the time.

Speaker 18:
[50:35] And she invited Mike.

Speaker 16:
[50:36] Well, Mike was a therapist.

Speaker 11:
[50:38] And we have an uncle Mike.

Speaker 18:
[50:40] And he like for real showed up.

Speaker 6:
[50:42] The therapist showed up.

Speaker 20:
[50:44] That's funny.

Speaker 2:
[50:45] He was so sweet.

Speaker 18:
[50:46] I mean, he saved for the whole thing.

Speaker 21:
[50:48] I'm like, bought a gift. It was so nice.

Speaker 20:
[50:49] But yeah, it was so excited to be invited.

Speaker 6:
[50:55] Yeah. He's thinking to himself, this is I'm going to do a little side birthday therapy. That's so funny. Hold on. Initial B wants to be voiced as guys. What's up, B?

Speaker 3:
[51:05] Hey, how are you?

Speaker 6:
[51:07] I'm doing okay. I'm golfing with a guy named Andy, the right Andy later today. What's going on?

Speaker 3:
[51:13] So I was dating a guy and my landscaper also had the same name as my boyfriend at the time. I was not paying attention when I sent a photo. Oh, no.

Speaker 6:
[51:26] No, we've had that. What would like photo, a photo of your landscaping, so to speak.

Speaker 3:
[51:34] Just the boobs.

Speaker 9:
[51:35] Just the boobs.

Speaker 6:
[51:36] There you go.

Speaker 9:
[51:37] How did he respond?

Speaker 3:
[51:40] He said, oh, thank you. I guess I did a good job and I was mortified.

Speaker 6:
[51:46] My God.

Speaker 9:
[51:47] Did you have to then explain it to your guy?

Speaker 3:
[51:51] He never found out. Oh, okay. Well, I'm the first one to find out. I've kept this a secret.

Speaker 6:
[51:56] Oh, man. That's wild. That's why she's voice disguised with us. Hold on. This is funny. Melissa, are you there? Hi. Oh, there you are. Hi, Melissa.

Speaker 11:
[52:07] Yeah. Yep. Can you hear me?

Speaker 6:
[52:08] I got you. Good morning.

Speaker 11:
[52:11] Good morning. I was actually the person who was sent the text by mistake.

Speaker 10:
[52:16] You were the wrong one.

Speaker 12:
[52:18] I was the wrong one.

Speaker 11:
[52:20] I had a friend who texted in a group, actually, and had all these plans to go up north.

Speaker 23:
[52:28] Are you guys available?

Speaker 11:
[52:30] My cottage will be open.

Speaker 18:
[52:32] And it sounded like a lot of fun. But then I was like looking at the other numbers and I didn't recognize any.

Speaker 11:
[52:37] So I was like, I think I'm the wrong, I don't think she meant me. So I texted her and I was like, I would love to go up north, but I don't think you meant me.

Speaker 6:
[52:48] Oh, man, you should have gone all the way up north. That would have been the best.

Speaker 18:
[52:51] I should have. I should have. And I didn't even get a like, oh, maybe next time. I just got like, yep, wrong one.

Speaker 6:
[52:58] Oh, my God. That's brutal. That's even more brutal. I would have been depressed. That had been like not being invited to some kid's birthday party when you were, you know, seven or something.

Speaker 23:
[53:08] Exactly. Exactly.

Speaker 6:
[53:10] Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

Speaker 23:
[53:12] All right. Have a good day.

Speaker 6:
[53:13] You too. Back with a chance for you to win 13 grand.

Speaker 21:
[53:18] In The Morning's $13,000 Secret Sound is on the air now.

Speaker 6:
[53:22] You got Secret Sound.

Speaker 21:
[53:57] Second date update is after eight this morning on In The Morning.

Speaker 6:
[54:02] We gotta have a little family meeting here. I went to the bathroom during a commercial break, you probably saw it if you were watching on our Facebook Live. And Zach, can you come to the studio, please?

Speaker 8:
[54:15] Uh-oh, dad's mad.

Speaker 6:
[54:17] Lydia, Lydia either, mom, are you there? Lydia and I, if we were husband and wife and you guys were the family, we would call each other mom and dad. I think Lydia was going to the bathroom too. If when Lydia comes back, let me know, Bianca, please. During our commercial break, Shannon and Anna were trying to pry out of Zach the answer to Mojo's Secret song.

Speaker 9:
[54:44] Well, okay, because I thought our most recent Me too. Contestant was right.

Speaker 6:
[54:51] Well, you're wrong.

Speaker 9:
[54:52] So now I'm like, what in the actual heck is this?

Speaker 8:
[55:03] And Zach did not give any hints.

Speaker 4:
[55:05] I can't, man.

Speaker 8:
[55:06] I just, I'm not budging.

Speaker 6:
[55:08] Lydia, these guys are trying to pull some shenanigans here in the studio.

Speaker 8:
[55:12] We are!

Speaker 6:
[55:13] And it's not right, that's against contest rules. I wanna make sure that we call the contest department to get Cody on them. Cody's the real queen.

Speaker 9:
[55:21] Does Cody know what it does? I don't think Cody knows. She does?

Speaker 6:
[55:24] I think Cody knows.

Speaker 9:
[55:25] I thought it was you two, Lydia and Tony.

Speaker 6:
[55:28] Yeah, but let her know.

Speaker 9:
[55:29] Oh, so Cody knows there's five?

Speaker 6:
[55:31] No, I don't think she knows. No, I don't think so. All right, Secret Sound. What is this sound? 13 grand, guys. 844-665-6548. You didn't tell them, did you? No, it's me scratching my butt though. Ah, hold on a second there. Wait, it's you scratching Lydia's butt, she just said. 844-665-6548, 844-Mojo Live.

Speaker 21:
[56:00] In The Morning's Dirty On The 30.

Speaker 6:
[56:02] All right, Shannon with What's Trending In The Dirty On The 30 and then What You Really Want, which is Secret Sound. We're going to see if we get an answer coming up.

Speaker 9:
[56:10] Are Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz engaged is the big question right now. I don't know. She was just photographed in London wearing a very large diamond ring on her left ring finger. And when I say large, I mean, humongo. And she was with Harry to boot. Now they've been dating since last summer. So this would be fast, but this is Hollywood. So anything goes, neither of the reps will answer any questions about it, but Google for the photos to see what I'm talking about. Filming for The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives, season five is a go. It had been paused because of the legal and personal fallout involving Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex Dakota Mortenson, which we talked about a ton. The situation between the two of them escalated into a domestic violence investigation which forced the cameras on the reality show to stop filming mid-season. But now with prosecutors declining to file new charges against Taylor, sources telling me that that clears a major hurdle and will allow filming to restart. I know producers are still waiting on one more third-party review, but the cast is ready to get that green light to go back to work.

Speaker 8:
[57:20] Normally, I don't care, but I'm totally watching it.

Speaker 14:
[57:23] I love the drama.

Speaker 8:
[57:25] Did you see the photos that were released on both of them? Like Dakota and Taylor, they were beating each other up.

Speaker 9:
[57:33] It's a bad situation.

Speaker 6:
[57:35] Can I tell you that I think I'm gonna sneakily watch Euphoria this weekend without Chelsea, because she's got some stuff going on. Do you know this last week? Were you listening last week? I wasn't. Hands above the waist. Have you seen it?

Speaker 9:
[57:49] Well, I saw the baby. Is that what you're talking about?

Speaker 8:
[57:51] It's a lot of baking cookies.

Speaker 6:
[57:53] No, I have not ever seen Euphoria at all. And then Kevkn turned me on that it's a lot of sex and teenage craziness. And I asked Chelsea if she should watch it. She goes, I'm not watching that. That's gross. Whatever. It's like she didn't like the idea of watching it. So I said, well, I'm going to watch it by myself. But is it creepy for me to watch it? It was like when I had to watch Sex Life by myself. But speaking of Sydney Sweeney, did you see the story about Sydney Sweeney and The Devil Wears Prada too? No. So you got to look this dirty story up and do this this morning. They cut her out of it. So they cut her completely. Her scene, her cameo scene in there. And a lot of people think that they cut her out because they are trying not to get, they think she's too political of a person because many tie her to be in a Trump or a mega person.

Speaker 14:
[58:40] Do you still get paid if you did those scenes?

Speaker 9:
[58:42] I think you have to. Because you put in the work.

Speaker 6:
[58:45] You don't get paid your residuals, but I think you get paid your work fee for that day. I'll take it.

Speaker 9:
[58:49] A former housekeeper of Kylie Jenner's is suing her, claiming she was harassed, discriminated against and mistreated by other staff while working at Kylie's homes in 2024 and 2025. Her name is Angelica Vasquez, and she said she was mocked for her race, religion and background. She was always given the most difficult jobs, she was publicly humiliated, and she said it was 100 percent a toxic work environment with Kylie when it came to Kylie. She also says she complained, her complaints were ignored, and the situation got so bad it led to anxiety and PTSD, which ultimately forced her to quit. Now, Kylie is named in the lawsuit. This housekeeper is not accusing Kylie of personally doing anything to her, but she is accusing her of failing to address all of this alleged behavior. And Pistons taking on the Orlando Magic for game two of the playoffs at LCA tonight. Jalen Durin talking to the media after practice last night.

Speaker 19:
[59:47] They came out ready, I think, from the jump. We didn't really meet their intensity. They've been playing with their backs against the walls the last few weeks, so they were already kind of rolling. I think we just got to do a better job of meeting their intensity from the jump.

Speaker 6:
[60:00] Wow.

Speaker 8:
[60:01] I hope they play better. Lydia and I will be there tonight.

Speaker 19:
[60:08] Say hi.

Speaker 6:
[60:09] Look at that. You guys getting crazy. Are you guys going to wear some cool matching hot girl single outfits? Yeah. Maybe pick up some players.

Speaker 8:
[60:19] So hopefully. I heard what Lydia is wearing. She's going to look good. I haven't decided what I'm wearing yet.

Speaker 6:
[60:25] Do women do that? Do single women do that? Like they go to or even married women. Do they go to the games dressed hot? Because they want the players to look at them.

Speaker 8:
[60:32] I told you this. There was this girl who said she, it's an investment. She buys courtside seats and expensive clothes sits there. And she said it works like a charm. Every time she gets at least three numbers.

Speaker 6:
[60:43] Wow.

Speaker 8:
[60:44] That's amazing.

Speaker 6:
[60:46] All right.

Speaker 9:
[60:47] If you missed anything from today's show, want to listen to something again, go back and check out the podcast on the I Heart Radio app. You know what I was talking about?

Speaker 6:
[60:53] Yeah. Get ready, by the way, to cheer Kevknows on tonight, too, when he's there at the game doing his thing.

Speaker 21:
[60:59] Miss something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com.

Speaker 6:
[61:06] It is time for Mojo's Secret Sound. From DFCU Financial, the cash back credit union. I'm your host, Mojo, along with Vanna White over here and...

Speaker 9:
[61:24] I don't want to be that old.

Speaker 6:
[61:26] Who are you over there? I don't even know. You're one of the...

Speaker 15:
[61:30] We'll be right back.

Speaker 6:
[61:31] No, no. You guys are like, what was the show with Howie Mandel where they had suitcases?

Speaker 9:
[61:36] Deal or no deal.

Speaker 6:
[61:36] Deal or no deal. And they got to open up suitcases. I'll be a briefcase lady. Yeah, be a briefcase lady, Zach, please. Nate, Nate, are you there?

Speaker 25:
[61:47] I'm here. Good morning, Mojo.

Speaker 6:
[61:48] Nate, I'm excited. Good morning to you. Kevkn, by the way, was texting me yesterday saying he does not want to winter until Friday because he's coming back on Friday. And I said to him, I go, that's too long, man. This has been going on for three weeks, Nate, that we've been doing this thing.

Speaker 25:
[62:03] Are you? Yeah, sorry, Kevkn, it's winning today.

Speaker 16:
[62:04] Oh, I love it.

Speaker 6:
[62:06] This is good. Nate is from Macomb. What are you going to do with the money, Nate, if you win?

Speaker 25:
[62:12] Well, I've got some stuff I got to get around the house. I currently had to take today off because my gums are swollen, so I've got to make a dentist appointment. Hopefully, that doesn't cost me too much.

Speaker 6:
[62:22] Stop it for a second.

Speaker 9:
[62:23] Why are your gums are swollen?

Speaker 6:
[62:25] If you worked for me and called in sick because your gums were swollen, I'd be like, get your ass to work, Nate. What do you do for a living that it requires that you have your gums?

Speaker 25:
[62:37] I am a mobile wheel technician, so I vend about 12 to 13 different dealerships throughout the metro Detroit area.

Speaker 6:
[62:44] So those guys are going to go without business today because you got gums that are swollen?

Speaker 25:
[62:49] No, I got a buddy. He's taking care of it.

Speaker 6:
[62:52] Okay. All right. Gums are swollen. I think I got swollen gums my entire life just from talking, from yapping here like this.

Speaker 25:
[63:00] All right.

Speaker 6:
[63:00] Let's get to the contest here. Nate, it's DFCU Financial's 20th anniversary of giving cash back to its members. They want to give you cash back too. What is Mojo's secret sound?

Speaker 25:
[63:17] Is it cutting or slicing an apple?

Speaker 6:
[63:21] You better get your ass to work today because you need to. That is ridiculous. What is going on? No, it is not.

Speaker 14:
[63:28] My God.

Speaker 7:
[63:30] Are you kidding me?

Speaker 9:
[63:31] Let out a little scream of frustration. Come on.

Speaker 14:
[63:35] My gums are swollen.

Speaker 7:
[63:36] You know it's swollen right now. My head is swollen right now.

Speaker 6:
[63:40] Are you serious?

Speaker 25:
[63:42] How did...

Speaker 6:
[63:43] Nate?

Speaker 8:
[63:43] Have you seen or heard any of the clues?

Speaker 25:
[63:47] I've heard most of them, but it's a lot of it chewed me off, so I was just sticking with my gut.

Speaker 6:
[63:52] Nate, you're going to have swollen gums. You're going to have swollen gums because I'm coming over to punch you in the nose and the mouth. I can't believe that. Nate, it's not the right answer. I apologize, Nate. Hold on a second. Hold on, Nate. Do you know somebody named Amber? I do. Amber, are you there?

Speaker 16:
[64:13] I am.

Speaker 6:
[64:13] Who are you, Amber?

Speaker 16:
[64:15] I am Nate's boss.

Speaker 10:
[64:18] Let him have it.

Speaker 9:
[64:20] Are swollen gums a good enough reason to not come in?

Speaker 24:
[64:24] For him, yes. He is an amazing employee.

Speaker 15:
[64:27] He shows up every day.

Speaker 6:
[64:29] He does?

Speaker 24:
[64:29] He does hard every day.

Speaker 6:
[64:30] All right.

Speaker 16:
[64:31] Fine.

Speaker 6:
[64:32] All right. Well, he may be an amazing employee, but he's a big fat dummy on the Mojo's secret sound thing. Did you hear his guess a second ago?

Speaker 16:
[64:41] I did.

Speaker 23:
[64:41] I knew he was wrong.

Speaker 6:
[64:43] Oh, my God. And he got through and there's so many people right now that are freaking out on the phone lines and text lines here that are.

Speaker 24:
[64:50] He's been trying for two weeks.

Speaker 1:
[64:52] Oh, wow.

Speaker 25:
[64:53] Well, we got started.

Speaker 1:
[64:55] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[64:55] We got to get Nate some some help on this one. And Nate, you got to call back. You're going to have time since you're calling in sick today.

Speaker 1:
[65:02] All right. All right.

Speaker 8:
[65:03] Those gum spits.

Speaker 6:
[65:04] Bye, Amber. Bye, Nate.

Speaker 5:
[65:06] Oh, what happened?

Speaker 6:
[65:20] Oh, my god, you got to see these people are going nuts on Nate right now.

Speaker 8:
[65:24] I'm going nuts on Nate.

Speaker 1:
[65:26] Oh, my god.

Speaker 9:
[65:27] I love when you lose your spit just a little bit.

Speaker 6:
[65:31] I thought we had a winner too. I literally had the fanfare. I had all the stuff ready to go. Oh, god. All right. It's In The Morning. So getting ready for prom in Shannon's house with her stepdaughter, Wes's daughter, Samantha.

Speaker 9:
[65:46] No, it's Friday. It's early.

Speaker 6:
[65:48] But here's the interesting thing. And I don't know if this has happened in any other families. Samantha doesn't want, uh, doesn't want the whole parent picture thing going on or what is this?

Speaker 9:
[65:58] I mean, that's a thing. You know, you do pictures earlier in the day before you do dinner and prom and all the things. So we are all planning to be at her pictures, which I think it's happening at like four or four thirty on Friday. And we being obviously her mom and her stepdad, you know, are will be there. But our household, myself, Wes and then my kids, Lucy and Smith, because I have them this week. So we all want to go and see her and support her and take pictures. Well, Wes doesn't have the greatest track record of how he behaves when his daughter has a date to a dance. Explain. We're not here for this, but not last year, but the year before, I think it was. She went to homecoming with a guy who wouldn't smile in any of the pictures. And Wes kept saying, any boy who is lucky enough to take my daughter to a dance should be so excited and happy and should be smiling in the pictures next to her. Well, any time before we took a picture, Wes would scream, smile or go home. So this has become a saying in our house when taking pictures, smile or go home. This poor kid was so embarrassed. Sam was so embarrassed. So last night at the dinner table, we're talking about her dress and her date and the pictures and all the things. And Lucy and Smith and Wes are just creating a plan of what they're going to say to this guy. If there's anybody I worry about, it's not even necessarily Wes, Smith and Lucy are very protective of Samantha and what the boy situation is. And so they're like, we're going to say this. And I don't want to say this kid's name just for privacy, but he has a name that rhymes with a not great word, a last name. And so they're like, we're going to make up, we're going to make signs, we're going to do this. And finally, she was like, please, do you guys have to come? I don't think she wants us there because she's worried that we're all going to embarrass her, which is going to happen. I mean, Wes is her dad.

Speaker 6:
[68:06] I love the pictures. Chelsea has one of those digital frames in our house. And the picture came by the other day of Joey at prom, and Luke was the little Luke. He was like his, it was 10 years different between the two. And Luke was helping him tie with his bow tie. And to me, those are like the most priceless moments when your littles are there with your bigs. You know what I mean?

Speaker 9:
[68:32] But they don't miss words. They're not afraid to say stuff.

Speaker 6:
[68:37] I think Luke called Joe out for having the hottest date at one. Like you said something like, she's hot, Joe or something like that. And that was actually something too.

Speaker 9:
[68:45] I don't think I've ever met this kid. For sure the kids haven't, Wes has. But so she showed us a picture last night and Smith's like, I can't wait to hear what Smith does. I'm like, oh God, here we go.

Speaker 6:
[68:58] You can do better, Samantha.

Speaker 8:
[68:59] You're gonna be bragging them. You guys can get a jelly cat if you act great today.

Speaker 6:
[69:05] But Smith, wait till you see the Samantha friends that are gonna be there, Smith.

Speaker 9:
[69:09] Oh, he has so many crushes on all of her friends.

Speaker 6:
[69:11] I love this time of the year, and I hope the weather's really good for this. I hope the weather's great, because I remember my boys used to go and do it at this park in Clarkston. It was like a just beautiful place. It had like a gazebo. Do you know what the park called? Depot Park, and they would do the pictures there. And I ain't gonna lie to you guys. I got tearful. Like, you know, you see these kids, his next moment that they're in those types of outfits, it might be a wedding, you know? So 844MojoLive, here's something fun. I want to ask, what was the thing that embarrassed you with your prom date, or how did the family embarrass you? I love the story about Wes. It's funny, I didn't recall it until you said, you know, smile. I never remember that.

Speaker 8:
[70:00] Go home.

Speaker 6:
[70:01] Smile or go home.

Speaker 8:
[70:02] That's so funny. That's probably why she's nervous now. They didn't smile.

Speaker 9:
[70:07] Loud. When Wes is loud, Wes is loud.

Speaker 6:
[70:09] Where's the non-smiling kid these days?

Speaker 9:
[70:12] They're actually friends. They're friends, yeah.

Speaker 6:
[70:14] Yeah, that's funny.

Speaker 8:
[70:15] Still not smiling.

Speaker 6:
[70:18] Text her hair says, text her hair says that they've got prom coming up next week and they're not allowed to go to pictures because they're the embarrassing mom. Oh, we should try to get her on. Text, text call me to 95500. Have you ever been embarrassed at those pictures? One of the ones I went to, and I can't remember who it was, it might have been Luke's, or no, it was Jacob's. Jacob's, we went over to, oh gosh, it was at somebody's house in Clarkston, and the dad had booze and all the dads got kind of drunk and the moms were mad at us. Oh, really? Yeah, the moms were like...

Speaker 9:
[70:56] The moms weren't drinking anything?

Speaker 6:
[70:58] No, the moms were worried making sure their kids got off safely and the dads were not caring, the dads were all drinking. What's going on, Shannon? How you doing?

Speaker 12:
[71:07] Doing great, how are you?

Speaker 6:
[71:08] We're doing good.

Speaker 25:
[71:10] Yay, Shannon on the phone.

Speaker 6:
[71:12] Kev's gone, so we're trying to make up for it. I think we're doing a better job than we have on the last times that we've had.

Speaker 12:
[71:19] You're doing awesome.

Speaker 6:
[71:20] Thank you, what's going on?

Speaker 12:
[71:23] Well, I'm just calling. My daughter and I are on the way to school right now, bringing her to school and she's like, oh, let's give it a call. My son's going to prom this year. He's a junior and he's going with his girlfriend. You just have to laugh with all the little details they have to do for prom for the guys and the girls, the whole asking and making the signs and setting up teachers. It's so funny.

Speaker 6:
[71:49] Shannon, it's way bigger than when we were at that age. Like we didn't have to do promposals, right?

Speaker 9:
[71:55] Right, yup.

Speaker 8:
[71:56] You know what else?

Speaker 10:
[71:57] No, not at all.

Speaker 8:
[71:59] Now, this wasn't a thing for me, but the girls have full on bouquets. It almost looks like they're in a bridal party. The prom was always just a corsage.

Speaker 9:
[72:07] Same, but a lot of them get together the morning of prom and they get together for breakfast and then they make them.

Speaker 8:
[72:13] That's so fun.

Speaker 9:
[72:13] That's a thing.

Speaker 16:
[72:14] They do.

Speaker 6:
[72:15] Shannon, is your daughter there? I know this is your son that's going to prom, but what's your daughter's name?

Speaker 16:
[72:22] Lila.

Speaker 6:
[72:22] Hey Lila, it's Mojo. How you doing Lila?

Speaker 16:
[72:25] Hi, good, how are you?

Speaker 6:
[72:27] Hey, good. Who do you think in your family would be more embarrassing to bring to the pictures? Your mom, your dad, or you guys?

Speaker 9:
[72:38] Oh, she didn't even let you finish.

Speaker 6:
[72:39] Yeah, that's right, okay. You already, are you going to the pictures?

Speaker 12:
[72:42] Mommy! Absolutely. We live in Grand Rapids, so we're going downtown to do pictures in Grand Rapids. There's a new little area that they, I cannot remember the name of it, that they're going for pictures this year.

Speaker 6:
[72:57] Send us some of the pictures, DM us some of the pictures or share them with us, okay?

Speaker 12:
[73:02] Absolutely, thanks for taking our call.

Speaker 6:
[73:04] See you Shannon, bye Lila, see you guys. What's up Ashley, hi.

Speaker 18:
[73:08] Hi, so my fiance is a high school teacher and he's gonna be chaperoning their prom and was able to bring a date, aka me. And I am curious if you guys have any idea or whatever to wear to that prom as a chaperone.

Speaker 6:
[73:29] You know what, it's funny, I think that the teachers all dress nice too. Like at the ones that I've seen pictures of them at the proms.

Speaker 9:
[73:37] Like in four, like something you would wear to a wedding, right?

Speaker 6:
[73:40] Yeah, maybe something like that. What's he gonna wear?

Speaker 16:
[73:44] Not sure, honestly.

Speaker 13:
[73:45] Probably a gray suit that he wore from a previous wedding.

Speaker 18:
[73:48] But I'm like, do I wear a dress or do I just like business casual kind of thing?

Speaker 9:
[73:51] No, I feel like you wear a dress.

Speaker 6:
[73:53] Yeah, I think I've seen the teachers wear those. But text us if you're a teacher and tell us what you guys do. What school is it, Ashley?

Speaker 18:
[74:01] Melvindale.

Speaker 6:
[74:02] Very cool, tell everybody we said hi, OK?

Speaker 9:
[74:03] Have fun.

Speaker 13:
[74:05] Yeah, thanks so much.

Speaker 6:
[74:06] Take care. Katie, what's up? It's In The Morning.

Speaker 20:
[74:10] Hey, first time long time.

Speaker 7:
[74:12] Yeah, Katie on the phone.

Speaker 20:
[74:17] So when I was in high school, I dated the same guy for four years. And every single time he would come anywhere, even our prom pictures and everything, my younger cousins would call him daddy.

Speaker 23:
[74:28] Oh, my God. What?

Speaker 20:
[74:30] It was the weirdest thing ever.

Speaker 9:
[74:32] Just to make you embarrassed or what was the reason?

Speaker 20:
[74:37] Nope, it was a game they would play. And for whatever reason, he was their daddy.

Speaker 6:
[74:44] That's funny. Oh, my God. God, it's funny. My buddies and I were talking about prom the other day because we didn't go to our senior prom or anything like that. We were kind of losers with that. And we were like, we did it all over again. We would have done the whole high school thing completely different. Because back when we went to school, you didn't go to prom by yourself. Like it wasn't like that.

Speaker 9:
[75:04] Same. You didn't go in groups of just friends.

Speaker 6:
[75:06] These kids like going to prom way better by themselves than they do having a date.

Speaker 9:
[75:09] Well, and not only will girls just go with groups of girlfriends, but also, like even in Sam's case, she's not dating this guy, but it's like their friend group. So they all kind of like paired off in the friend group.

Speaker 8:
[75:19] I like that.

Speaker 6:
[75:20] What's up, Jen?

Speaker 16:
[75:22] Hey, so my mom was my high school assistant principal, and that was a whole world in itself, but when it came to school dances, she would bring my dad's hunting spotlight and spotlight people that were dancing inappropriately.

Speaker 8:
[75:39] That's so funny.

Speaker 20:
[75:41] That's so bad.

Speaker 6:
[75:44] That's awesome.

Speaker 24:
[75:45] Yeah, talk about embarrassing.

Speaker 6:
[75:47] That's a great story. What high school was this, Jen?

Speaker 18:
[75:51] I went to Rockford High School, so we had quite a few kids at our school.

Speaker 6:
[75:54] Okay, yeah, that's the other one too. Some of these schools, like my kids went to a Catholic school that was a smaller class size. The public school ones, like the West Bloomfield School Prom, they have it at frickin big, massive places and they've got a million kids at those things.

Speaker 13:
[76:12] Yeah, that's what ours was.

Speaker 16:
[76:14] Yeah, at a hall and I had like 700 people in my class alone.

Speaker 7:
[76:17] Oh my gosh, that's bigger than my whole school.

Speaker 6:
[76:20] My high school graduating class was 600 kids and it was all guys, 600 guys.

Speaker 8:
[76:25] Holy cow.

Speaker 6:
[76:26] That crazy?

Speaker 9:
[76:27] Mine was like 160 maybe?

Speaker 8:
[76:29] 42 over here.

Speaker 16:
[76:31] Oh wow.

Speaker 6:
[76:32] Janita, what's up?

Speaker 16:
[76:34] Hi, I'm calling for my daughter, I go to Dakota. Yeah. And I told my dad you gotta be at before 3 o'clock to take pictures. And the other day I called them and I'm like, what are you doing? I gotta pick a black suit so I look good.

Speaker 23:
[76:50] I'm like, oh my God.

Speaker 6:
[76:51] Grandpa's gonna be there in a suit. I love it.

Speaker 9:
[76:54] I love that so much.

Speaker 6:
[76:55] That is so cute. Where are they doing their pictures?

Speaker 16:
[76:58] Yep. They're, half of them, they're at my house and they're doing adults, I think. I don't know.

Speaker 4:
[77:05] That's cute.

Speaker 6:
[77:06] That's awesome.

Speaker 16:
[77:07] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[77:08] Very cool. That's, your grand, your dad's gonna make her proud. What's up? How are you doing, Tia?

Speaker 11:
[77:14] Good. How are you? First, I'm long time.

Speaker 13:
[77:16] Hey, Tia.

Speaker 6:
[77:19] What's going on, Tia?

Speaker 11:
[77:23] So my daughter had problems past weekend and we went and did pictures and she actually embarrassed me instead of me embarrassing her.

Speaker 13:
[77:30] Oh, God.

Speaker 6:
[77:30] What did she do?

Speaker 11:
[77:32] She was twerking and making a whole bunch of TikToks and everything else in front of a bunch of people that we didn't know.

Speaker 13:
[77:40] And I was more embarrassed than she was about it. YOLO. Well, good for her.

Speaker 6:
[77:44] She's keeping it light.

Speaker 11:
[77:46] Yeah, she had a great time, though, but she did go with a group of friends instead of a boyfriend.

Speaker 6:
[77:51] Where was their prom and what school does she go to?

Speaker 11:
[77:56] We're actually in Oregon, Ohio, and she goes to Clay.

Speaker 6:
[78:00] Oh, that's cool.

Speaker 11:
[78:00] Shout out to Audrey. It's her friend.

Speaker 6:
[78:03] I know the Ohio schools get out way earlier than the Michigan schools do, so that's cool. That's going to be awesome.

Speaker 11:
[78:10] Well, thank you.

Speaker 10:
[78:11] The Monday after Memorial Day.

Speaker 6:
[78:14] Oh, wow. Okay, that's early. Although, it does seem a little, I don't know.

Speaker 9:
[78:18] That actually seems later than normal, but still early.

Speaker 6:
[78:21] I remember, this is one prom story that I do remember. Another one that came up was, I remember the after party prom was at our friend's house, and my friends asked me if I would be one of the dads that would be there to watch and make sure, and we confiscated bags before the prom, because the kids were all going to spend the night there, and that's where they were going to do the thing. Every water bottle was vodka.

Speaker 9:
[78:41] Oh, wow.

Speaker 6:
[78:42] I mean, every single one of these ones.

Speaker 8:
[78:44] You confiscated all of them?

Speaker 6:
[78:45] Oh, yeah, we got them all. We drink them all. That was our vodka. No, no, no, these kids are stealing the good stuff.

Speaker 9:
[78:54] I love how you say vodka.

Speaker 6:
[78:56] Vodka!

Speaker 2:
[79:27] Let me take y'all back to the beginning.

Speaker 6:
[79:29] This is it.

Speaker 4:
[79:29] Alrighty, you ready?

Speaker 25:
[79:31] You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 6:
[79:33] You're a doo-doo head! All right, here's In The Morning. Coming up this hour on the show, Bianca is wearing his dad's clothes.

Speaker 24:
[79:49] Well, not now, but earlier I was.

Speaker 6:
[79:50] He has hit. And then right after that, my buddy's wife is mad at him because he was scratching his female coworkers back at work yesterday. The second date update and why they are not getting another date out of this whole deal. That's coming up at 8.20. Then secret sound after the last guest. Hopefully we get a winner and you'll hear that coming up at 8.30. And then we'll round out the hour with Anna and the dogs that are pooping all over the sidewalk. And they were probably going to the Tigers game yesterday because it was ridiculous. Oh yeah. The bark in the park stuff that they do. Looked fun. I gotta tell you, the dogs looked way better than the Tigers did last night. They got their butts kicked. All right, it is In The Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. The text is 95500. I wanna talk babies here for a second. Mojo gives you a baby. We're doing a big push right now for entries and we gotta get your entries in now because we're starting to narrow it down to finalist. And I looked at how many people have entered so far. Mind you, I know there's a lot of people with infertility issues because we always get inquiries about this contest. Even during the summertime, after we've already given it away, hey, is there any way that you guys are gonna do that contest again? Our entries are down a little bit right now. And I don't know if it's because Secret Sounds caught a lot of people's attention, but this is National Infertility Week. We're doing Gives You a Baby at this time of the year because that and we got Mom's Day coming up and that's when we want to award the winners that week of Mother's Day. We need you to do your entry today, okay? And if not today, tomorrow for sure. You gotta get it in. If you or someone you know would like to win IVF and like to have the ability to be able to get something that would be normally a humongous price for you, for free, go to mojointhemorning.com. Click on Gives You A Baby, or go to our iHeartRadio app for Channel 955. Click on the contest. I think it's on also our SNX and Kiss iHeart apps, but if you don't see it under the contest there, go to the Channel 9551. And Dr. Bazzie from the Michigan Fertility Institute is gonna make your dream come true.

Speaker 9:
[82:17] Can I say something too? It's really easy to enter. You don't have to like jump through a bunch of hoops. Just share your story. It doesn't have to be an essay. Like 200 words, I think, is what it says on there. And also I talked to somebody who was hesitant to enter because she said she had already, her and her husband had already tried IVF and it didn't work for them. You tried it elsewhere. Dr. Bazzie could be the guy, you know, it's different doctors have different ways and different whatever. So even if that's part of your story, please still enter.

Speaker 6:
[82:48] Yeah, please. And I'm going to just go on record and say this. I've had a lot of babies. This works. It really does. We have had very few non successful situations. And when I mean very few, I think that we have like a 90 percent rate of babies being born and we have a pretty high rate of multiples. So your dreams and your family becomes complete with this contest. So Mojo gives you a baby, go right now, fill this out, or sometime today when you can sit down and hell, I'd have ChatGPT write me. I tell it a few things like this is some of the heartbreaking stuff and then say do it all for me. Enter the damn thing, please. All right, it is In The Morning. In the world of our wonderful Bianca, the director of Social Impact of the In The Morning Show and her relationship to her young male friend, this story just gets weirder and weirder.

Speaker 24:
[83:49] Let's hear it. Listen, so y'all know I'm like really close with Bryce's family. Which I love. Yeah, I love it too. I think it's great. It's a great blessing.

Speaker 6:
[83:57] Who are you closer to, Bryce's mom or dad?

Speaker 24:
[84:01] Well, at first it was the dad, because I knew the dad first, but now I think it's the mom and the aunt, clearly.

Speaker 6:
[84:07] Okay.

Speaker 24:
[84:07] All right. But I think we got to an extra level of closeness yesterday. Me and Bryce were playing tennis. It was so nice out, and it got a little chilly. So Bryce offered me his hoodie, and I was like, oh, this is so nice. It was a Michigan hoodie though, but I was like, whatever, I'm wearing it. It was like a huge vintage Michigan hoodie. It was like very nice. And I get back to Bryce's house. I'm still wearing the hoodie. And his dad walks home, his dad walks in and he looks at me and he says, I like your hoodie, but you're going to have to give that back to me.

Speaker 6:
[84:39] Wait a second.

Speaker 8:
[84:40] It wasn't Bryce's?

Speaker 24:
[84:42] No. And he's like, this is my favorite vintage hoodie. I need this back. You can wear it for sure all you want, but I need this hoodie back.

Speaker 6:
[84:48] You're wearing your boyfriend's dad's clothes.

Speaker 24:
[84:52] Yes. And I'm sitting there so embarrassed. I told Bryce, why would you not give me your own clothes? Like, why are you giving me your dad's clothes? That's so weird. And not tell me he acts like it was his hoodie. It's weird.

Speaker 6:
[85:02] I gotta be honest with you.

Speaker 24:
[85:03] That's so weird.

Speaker 6:
[85:04] As a dad of boys, and who two out of the three have dated girls, although I don't know if I'd want Jacob's boyfriends wearing my stuff, I wouldn't want that to happen. I don't want them wearing my clothes. There's a level of weirdness to that.

Speaker 9:
[85:21] Yes, I agree.

Speaker 24:
[85:22] He was very nice about it. He let me wear it home. He's like, just bring it back tomorrow. But right when I got home, I took that off, I left it in my car, I was like not taking this inside.

Speaker 8:
[85:31] Did you plan on keeping it until now?

Speaker 24:
[85:33] No, well, yeah, before I knew it was his dad's. Yeah, because it was so nice.

Speaker 6:
[85:37] You're gonna be swiping dad's clothes.

Speaker 24:
[85:39] That was so gross, because I would never give him my mom's clothes.

Speaker 8:
[85:43] What was Bryce's reaction?

Speaker 6:
[85:44] Wait, no, what about your dad's clothes? Why are you giving him your mom's clothes?

Speaker 24:
[85:47] Because I wear his dad's clothes.

Speaker 6:
[85:49] No, I know.

Speaker 9:
[85:49] Wait a second, am I making this up in my head, or was there a story about you in his mom's closet, or clothes, or pajamas?

Speaker 24:
[85:54] Shower. Oh, it was a shower.

Speaker 9:
[85:57] That's what it was.

Speaker 24:
[85:58] And she let me wear her robe. Yeah.

Speaker 5:
[86:00] Oh my God.

Speaker 6:
[86:01] This is weird.

Speaker 9:
[86:02] You might as well just move in.

Speaker 24:
[86:04] Or get my own closet or something. Yeah, but...

Speaker 6:
[86:07] I'm sorry. Are there any people here that do this same thing, where their boyfriends or girlfriends were wearing their parents' stuff, or are you a parent of a teen, or post-teen? I don't know what you are.

Speaker 24:
[86:22] Early 20s?

Speaker 6:
[86:22] I don't know.

Speaker 24:
[86:23] He's a teen, though, so I don't know.

Speaker 6:
[86:26] It's true. But...

Speaker 9:
[86:29] It is so different, though.

Speaker 6:
[86:30] I wish Kevknows was here right now. He would have a field day with us.

Speaker 9:
[86:32] I can actually see you, though, letting Jacob's boyfriend wear your clothes if he needed something.

Speaker 6:
[86:37] Really?

Speaker 9:
[86:38] It's just different.

Speaker 24:
[86:39] Would you let Alyssa wear the clothes, though?

Speaker 6:
[86:40] But can I tell you, it'd be weird if...

Speaker 9:
[86:43] If you walked in and he was just wearing your outfit.

Speaker 6:
[86:46] If I walked in and Luke's got his college girlfriend wearing one of my Grayson Lyon sweatshirts, I'm probably going to say you can have it. Like I'm probably going to give it to him. I don't want it back because it just seems like honestly, because you guys know this, when you're dating, when they start wearing your clothes and then they keep your clothes, that's when you know you're official. You are now literally dating official with Maisam. I just want you to know that. Well, guess what? He's officially now the dad of... You guys have to get married.

Speaker 24:
[87:24] I know. So here's the thing. I keep all of Bryce's hoodies. If I knew it was just Bryce's and not the dad's, I would have kept it because it was really nice. However, the dad was very nice about everything and he said, you don't have to take it off. You don't have to take it off. Because I was trying to take it off in the house. I was like, I'm gonna go change, I'm gonna go put my outdoor clothes on.

Speaker 6:
[87:43] I'm friends with your boyfriend's dad. I want him to go get a stress test.

Speaker 24:
[87:49] Oh.

Speaker 6:
[87:51] Because I'm afraid that this man is going to have a heart problem and it's going to be because of, because Bianca...

Speaker 24:
[87:58] I just wonder if I left their house yesterday and the dad's probably like, Bryce, why are you letting her wear my clothes? My favorite, honey.

Speaker 6:
[88:05] Do you ask Bryce that question?

Speaker 24:
[88:07] No, I don't want to know.

Speaker 8:
[88:08] And why was he letting you in the first place?

Speaker 9:
[88:11] He was wearing it. I actually see how this happened.

Speaker 8:
[88:13] Oh, he had it on?

Speaker 9:
[88:14] He was wearing it. He took it off?

Speaker 24:
[88:15] Oh, no, he was not wearing it. It was just sitting in his car and he just had it, yeah.

Speaker 9:
[88:19] Okay, so same thing. He had it on him. It wasn't like he went into his dad's closet and picked that.

Speaker 24:
[88:24] I don't know. I still wouldn't do that though. Or I would at least disclose his information. Hi, this is my dad's clothes. Do you want to wear it?

Speaker 6:
[88:30] What's up, Morgan? How you doing? Hi, good.

Speaker 18:
[88:33] How are you?

Speaker 6:
[88:34] Fantastic. What's your thoughts on this one? And do you have a story that relates?

Speaker 11:
[88:39] Yeah, so something similar, kind of opposite.

Speaker 18:
[88:41] So I was hanging out at my ex-boyfriend's house and his dad walks in and I look at his shirt and he's wearing my shirt.

Speaker 23:
[88:48] His dad is wearing my shirt that I left there.

Speaker 6:
[88:51] What is going on in this world? Why, how did this?

Speaker 18:
[88:53] Like at first I looked at him, I was like, do we have the same shirt?

Speaker 16:
[88:58] And then I was like, no, that's my shirt.

Speaker 24:
[89:01] Wait, how did it fit in your shirt though?

Speaker 6:
[89:03] Like, yeah.

Speaker 18:
[89:05] So, I mean, it was like an oversized t-shirt, but it definitely was like a little snug on him.

Speaker 24:
[89:10] I'm thinking like a baby tee on a big belly man, you know?

Speaker 16:
[89:13] Yes.

Speaker 18:
[89:15] No, he was like a fit dude, whatever, but it was really funny.

Speaker 6:
[89:19] By the way, not as shocking if he's wearing your underwear. Could you imagine that? Yo, I always hear these stories of women who come home and find their guys wearing their stuff. What's up, Tiffany, how you doing?

Speaker 18:
[89:32] Hi, so I feel for Bianca because, or Anna, because the fact that I had to deal with this, I, or what I thought was my Beyoncé's t-shirt, we went out in public and his dad proceeded to tell me, oh, I've been looking for my t-shirt.

Speaker 6:
[89:47] Oh my God, yeah.

Speaker 13:
[89:48] And it was very awkward.

Speaker 6:
[89:50] It's Bianca that is the crazy one here, wearing her boyfriend Bryce's stuff. Yeah, that's wild. So again, it must have been like an oversized shirt that you would have, or?

Speaker 17:
[90:02] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[90:02] Okay.

Speaker 17:
[90:02] It was in my fiance's closet. And so I just grabbed it cause I was wearing, cause I wanted to change real quick.

Speaker 12:
[90:08] And he took it from his dad.

Speaker 6:
[90:10] Oh, funny.

Speaker 24:
[90:11] He said he steals his dad's socks too, and underwear sometimes.

Speaker 8:
[90:14] Ew, underwear?

Speaker 24:
[90:15] So gross.

Speaker 6:
[90:16] Underwear is over the line. That's bad.

Speaker 8:
[90:19] Yeah, you're crossing the line.

Speaker 24:
[90:20] He said they steal each other's tidy whiteys or something.

Speaker 6:
[90:22] No, there's no way. Luke steals my socks and it pisses me off because I have a good sock game going. My problem is, I like those a lot. And I also like the bonumos, or what is it? Bonobos?

Speaker 9:
[90:37] Yeah, no, bonbos. I love bonbos.

Speaker 6:
[90:41] And I love those. And Luke loses one sock and now I'm screwed, you know? What's going on, Dawn? Hi.

Speaker 23:
[90:48] Hi, how are you?

Speaker 6:
[90:49] Good.

Speaker 23:
[90:50] So my son, he's a teenager and my house is like the place to go right in the summer all the time. So when the girls, like this has happened just a couple of weeks ago, some of the girls, including his girlfriend, were chilly. And I was like, is it weird if I offer my sweatshirt to you guys? And two of them are kind of like a little bit weirded out, like it's your mom, right? And one of his actual girlfriend was like, no, no, no, that's not weird at all. She's our size. So now I'm wondering, is this weird that I'm doing this?

Speaker 6:
[91:18] Honestly, I don't know if it's weird if it's yours. I will tell you this. If my boys went into Chelsea's closet and grabbed some of her clothes, their hands would get cut off. Like if all of a sudden their girlfriends were walking around in Chelsea's nice stuff, Chelsea would be like, get the F out of my house. That's the last time. But I don't think it's weird if you're just trying to keep them warm. Hold on, Danielle wants to ask Bryce or Bianca something about Bryce. What's up?

Speaker 12:
[91:43] Good morning, everybody.

Speaker 9:
[91:44] Good morning.

Speaker 18:
[91:45] Bianca, I texted in to say maybe Bryce is borrowing his dad's hoodies because you have all of his.

Speaker 8:
[91:54] Oh, I had a point there.

Speaker 9:
[91:56] Do you have a lot of his clothes?

Speaker 24:
[91:58] No, I only have two. There's like this one Essentials hoodie I really want from him that I know I'm going to get one day, but right now I only have two. But I want the Essentials hoodie so bad.

Speaker 6:
[92:06] Really?

Speaker 24:
[92:07] I have like a church hoodie and I had just like another like high school hoodie of his, because obviously he's not wearing that anymore. I want the nice ones.

Speaker 6:
[92:13] Kennedy, what's up?

Speaker 18:
[92:16] Hi.

Speaker 6:
[92:17] Hi.

Speaker 15:
[92:18] First time I want to turn Kennedy on the phone.

Speaker 18:
[92:23] But I was wearing my boyfriend's brother's shorts and I didn't know it.

Speaker 9:
[92:30] And did you? And when did you realize it?

Speaker 18:
[92:32] I did his shorts after the fact, like later on down the line when I went to go put them on again and he's like, those aren't mine.

Speaker 13:
[92:39] And I'm like, what do you mean those aren't yours? And he was like, they're not mine.

Speaker 16:
[92:44] And I said, well, you gave them to me to put on.

Speaker 23:
[92:46] And he was like, yeah, those are my brothers.

Speaker 9:
[92:48] Oh, that's weird too.

Speaker 6:
[92:49] Your privates touched your boyfriend's brother's privates. Do you know that?

Speaker 16:
[92:55] Oh my God.

Speaker 18:
[92:58] I threw them away immediately.

Speaker 6:
[93:00] Can you imagine that? You basically, you basically are Eskimo brothers.

Speaker 1:
[93:06] Oh, shoot.

Speaker 24:
[93:07] Too far. Dude, actually now I think about it. I think one time Bryce went into my brother's room to go get a pair of shorts, it was like really nice. I think this was like two weeks ago. He's like, do you mind if I just go in your brother's room? He was at work. I was like, shoot, go ahead. So maybe Bryce has my brother's stuff too.

Speaker 6:
[93:21] Do you guys think that maybe you should bring clothes with you?

Speaker 24:
[93:24] I started doing that. Now I keep a bag in my car. I was like, I'm not wearing your dad's stuff again.

Speaker 6:
[93:27] Oh my gosh.

Speaker 21:
[93:29] Getting ghosted sucks. Second date update is at 820 on In The Morning.

Speaker 6:
[93:34] All right, that's just a moment away, and then we're going to do the secret sound. It is In The Morning. I want to ask this as a quick question to see what you guys think, if you guys think that she is like really taking this too far, or would you be pissed about this? A buddy of mine's wife, and Chelsea and I are friends with the couples, found out yesterday, or day before, I think it was, that her husband scratches his female co-workers back.

Speaker 9:
[94:10] Regularly?

Speaker 6:
[94:11] So, it's been a couple of times. I guess he's known in the office as the back scratcher. Everybody says that he's a really good back scratcher, and they have an office that is kind of like ours, where there's not a line on appropriateness sometimes, like you know what I mean? But I don't think in our office, I don't think you're gonna see me, or maybe Kevkn, I don't think Kevkn even would do it, walking up to you guys and like scratching your back, or whatever the deal is. Or maybe like, you always hear the stories about, I went to Human Resources because he was massaging my back or something like that. Like it's weird. I've had, honestly, I've had Zach scratch my back.

Speaker 8:
[94:52] Cause you had an itch?

Speaker 6:
[94:53] Yeah, an itch.

Speaker 8:
[94:54] You needed a massage.

Speaker 6:
[94:55] And he's got good nails. He's got really good nails on this too.

Speaker 9:
[94:57] So like what is the reason, just while they're talking, he's scratching?

Speaker 6:
[95:04] So the, I guess it was one of those things where it was like they had a scratch or had an itch. And then she said, you know, Hey, will you scratch it? He scratched it. And she's like, Oh my God, that was really good. Can you, and she's a married older woman, I guess in the office, but not, I'm gonna say older. She's only like 10 years older than him. They're still good. But he said that he's not attracted to her at all.

Speaker 9:
[95:27] But even then, like, okay, so you have an itch one time and you're like, nobody else, can you just grab? That's different. I don't know if that's it.

Speaker 6:
[95:36] Would you be upset if you find out that Wes was-

Speaker 9:
[95:37] Yeah, it was like consistently had a schedule of scratching a female co-worker's back.

Speaker 8:
[95:42] But I think it's less weird if he's known in the office and is doing that for multiple office people. But if it's just this one lady, a little weird.

Speaker 6:
[95:50] All right, here's a, so I want to ask listeners what they think about that. And if that would be weird, if you find out that your spouse was doing that, tell me on that one, 844-MOJO-LIVE. Here's one for you. What would be considered appropriate and inappropriate workplace touching?

Speaker 9:
[96:09] Okay.

Speaker 6:
[96:10] Okay.

Speaker 9:
[96:10] Okay.

Speaker 6:
[96:12] Would it be weird, okay, if there was a big moment in somebody's life? Like if something big happened, like Shannon just set a record for something or whatever, or just got a phone call that Lucy made the honor roll. Do I, as a male coworker, hug, high five or fist her?

Speaker 9:
[96:36] Ew.

Speaker 6:
[96:37] What do you think?

Speaker 9:
[96:37] You mean fist bump?

Speaker 6:
[96:38] Yeah, like, yeah, fist bump. Yeah. What would you think?

Speaker 9:
[96:42] But see, I would think-

Speaker 6:
[96:43] Hug, high five or fist?

Speaker 9:
[96:45] I think all three of those would be appropriate. I'm a hugger.

Speaker 6:
[96:48] Yeah.

Speaker 9:
[96:48] So, like, I am never weirded out when somebody gives me a hug, ever.

Speaker 6:
[96:53] But would my wife be okay with that? You know what I mean?

Speaker 9:
[96:55] Well, I mean, that's the question. You're asking me about if I would be offended for, obviously, none of those.

Speaker 6:
[97:00] Right. But also, like, the whole deal, like, is it appropriate to be hugging?

Speaker 9:
[97:04] I think a hug of a congratulations is completely acceptable.

Speaker 8:
[97:08] But if it's a lingering hugger, your hands are traveling somewhere else. Obviously not.

Speaker 6:
[97:13] All right. Let me read this to you. According to Workplace Expert, there are only three areas on a body that are acceptable when it comes to touching a co-worker. The wrist, the forearm and the back. A pat on the back, maybe. Never a hug or a kiss of a co-worker to congratulate them. To express appreciation, office appreciation or kudos, giving an office hug is probably a little out of the line.

Speaker 9:
[97:42] Can I tell you something? I would be more weirded out if you patted me on the back than a hug.

Speaker 6:
[97:49] How about under the head, top of the head?

Speaker 12:
[97:51] I would be like, what is this?

Speaker 6:
[97:55] Lori, what's going on? It's In The Morning.

Speaker 16:
[97:59] I think it's personally normal, really normal.

Speaker 7:
[98:02] I mean, especially if you work with each other for a long, long time. I've worked with my people for 25 years. We're hairdressers, our necks, our backs, our shoulders are always hurting.

Speaker 11:
[98:11] So we're always massaging each other, giving each other a little back scratch.

Speaker 6:
[98:15] Lori, hairdressers are incestuous. You guys all, you guys probably swap spouses and stuff.

Speaker 11:
[98:20] No, we don't.

Speaker 6:
[98:21] You guys are crazy. I'm telling you guys, there's weird, freaky kinkiness going on in hair salons.

Speaker 11:
[98:30] Well, not at ours.

Speaker 23:
[98:32] We're a bunch of older hairdressers, but I think it's normal.

Speaker 10:
[98:35] If you know the person well enough.

Speaker 6:
[98:37] Then it's okay.

Speaker 1:
[98:37] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[98:39] What's up Desiree? What's up, it's In The Morning.

Speaker 17:
[98:42] Hey, so I'm thinking, you know, if it's like in a congratulatory type thing, you guys high five, fist bump, that's fine.

Speaker 20:
[98:49] But like scratching the back is weird.

Speaker 18:
[98:51] But like, even if you're like, even if you're not, at the end of the day, you're at work.

Speaker 13:
[98:56] Why are we touching anybody? Just like do your job.

Speaker 20:
[98:59] Like, why are we putting our hands on anyone at work?

Speaker 6:
[99:01] We want a good morale going on in the office, Desiree.

Speaker 18:
[99:04] I guess.

Speaker 6:
[99:07] Not in your office though. What's up Bill? How you doing?

Speaker 4:
[99:11] Yeah, I first time call her, uh, hey, hey, my boss slapped me on the head and said, good job. You know, like, go team, you know?

Speaker 6:
[99:24] No, he did not.

Speaker 8:
[99:24] It was like a locker room.

Speaker 6:
[99:25] Wait, he or she?

Speaker 4:
[99:27] No, she. She? She. Yeah. No.

Speaker 2:
[99:31] It was, oh yeah. Did you record it?

Speaker 4:
[99:34] It was completely innocent. No, shoot, no. Hell, not at all.

Speaker 2:
[99:39] You liked it.

Speaker 4:
[99:40] I was cool.

Speaker 6:
[99:41] I tell you, it's different if a woman does it to a guy than if you could never do it back to her.

Speaker 4:
[99:49] Oh, no, definitely not. But, you know, I give her shoulder rub or whatnot, you know, and it was always, always innocent.

Speaker 6:
[99:58] Bill, what are you doing over there? What kind of work you guys do?

Speaker 4:
[100:02] Um, I used to work in the food, food industry.

Speaker 6:
[100:05] Okay. I'm wondering what kind of things are going on in that office over there. Rachel, what's up, Rachel?

Speaker 11:
[100:12] Mojo, you can't say this like that.

Speaker 8:
[100:16] I know.

Speaker 9:
[100:17] I clarified it very quickly.

Speaker 2:
[100:19] Kevin would have freaked out.

Speaker 20:
[100:22] I love you guys. Have a good day.

Speaker 6:
[100:24] Bye. Hey, coming up here later this morning on the show, we're going to give you a chance, if you're a mom, to celebrate Mother's Day with us. We're going to hook moms up with a makeover for this Mother's Day. You got to listen to the show for Mojo's Mother's Day makeover brought to you by 6 Salon Detroit. Your chance to hang out with us the Friday before Mother's Day and get a complete makeover for the Mother's Day weekend. Look amazing for Mother's Day. And in just a little bit, actually a little later this morning, George is going to be on with us from 6 and then we're going to qualify some moms for that. So if you're a mom that's looking for something nice for Mother's Day, and this might be your option, might be your only option I know for so many, especially some of our single moms that listen to our show. Be listening. We're going to do a second date update and then secret sound right after. Why are you not getting a call back? Second date update right now, Gina not getting a call back. How did you guys meet, Gina?

Speaker 15:
[101:42] Hey, we met at work.

Speaker 6:
[101:44] Okay, so you not only went on a date with a guy that's not calling you back, now you got to see him at work?

Speaker 15:
[101:52] Yeah.

Speaker 6:
[101:54] That's always weird. That's one of the ones why I think that inner office romances probably are... Not a good idea. Yeah, frowned upon because what happens if it goes bad? So what was the date? What did you guys do?

Speaker 15:
[102:08] We went to a bar.

Speaker 2:
[102:11] Yeah, we went to the bar.

Speaker 6:
[102:14] Did anything romantic happen or anything?

Speaker 9:
[102:16] Like how did it end?

Speaker 15:
[102:18] At my place.

Speaker 6:
[102:20] Oh.

Speaker 9:
[102:21] Okay.

Speaker 6:
[102:22] Did he spend the night?

Speaker 15:
[102:24] Uh, yeah.

Speaker 6:
[102:26] And was this on a weekend and then you went to work the next week or was this on the night before work?

Speaker 15:
[102:33] Um, it was, uh, oh, it was like the Friday.

Speaker 6:
[102:38] Okay, so.

Speaker 15:
[102:39] And then we had the weekend.

Speaker 6:
[102:40] So you had the weekend. Because that would be wondering, something wondering, would you guys go to work together at that point? Or would you guys have him leave a little earlier than you to go home and stuff? That would be weird. But so when you came in on Monday, what did he do?

Speaker 15:
[102:55] He like kind of like looked up like half-waved and then like went right back to his computer.

Speaker 6:
[103:01] And never has talked at all about that date since then.

Speaker 15:
[103:06] No, and he's like always like on the phone or like on the computer. Like he's always like really like busy or occupied or whatever.

Speaker 6:
[103:14] So what's the story behind this? Say hello to Paul, Gina.

Speaker 22:
[103:20] Hey, hey, Gina.

Speaker 6:
[103:24] Paul, first off, Paul, you spent the night and you guys obviously had a good time and you can't even look up at her and say hi to her or talk to her at work.

Speaker 10:
[103:38] Okay, okay.

Speaker 22:
[103:39] Yeah, let's, I don't know why we're being coy here. I feel like Gina should know why I'm not like hitting her back up at this point. We're all adults here. We had a fun night, but like that being said, she's acting crazy. She's acting crazy. I'm sorry. Why do you say that?

Speaker 6:
[104:00] Why do you think he's saying that Gina?

Speaker 15:
[104:03] I have literally no idea.

Speaker 6:
[104:05] Why is it Paul?

Speaker 22:
[104:07] Okay. Look, we were both pretty drunk, so I didn't really know how to handle this in the moment. But after we hooked up, I'm pretty sure she was like taking selfies of us in bed.

Speaker 15:
[104:21] What?

Speaker 22:
[104:21] Then at some point, okay, wait, wait. Then shortly after, you're getting a call from someone, in the middle of the night, having this like intense argument. And like, I don't know, I'm connecting dots here. Like, how long have you been single?

Speaker 6:
[104:38] What does that have to do with anything?

Speaker 3:
[104:40] Excuse me?

Speaker 22:
[104:41] Well, I just think- Is there another guy checking in on-

Speaker 3:
[104:45] First of all, what?

Speaker 6:
[104:47] Hold up one second. Go ahead, Gina, what are you gonna say?

Speaker 15:
[104:51] First of all, like, what are you talking about? I am not in a relationship. So like, what's going on? Why are you, what's going on?

Speaker 6:
[104:58] Gina, let me ask a couple of questions though, real quick though. Were you taking pictures? Were you guys-

Speaker 15:
[105:03] Yeah, of myself.

Speaker 6:
[105:04] So you were doing-

Speaker 15:
[105:05] Went to the bathroom and I looked cute.

Speaker 6:
[105:07] So you were, so you did not take any pictures of yourself with Paul, you just took pictures of yourself. You took selfies and why you were doing this after you guys had been together. And-

Speaker 15:
[105:19] A little glow.

Speaker 6:
[105:20] What were you doing with those pictures? Did you send them to somebody or did you just hold on to them for yourself?

Speaker 15:
[105:25] I posted them on my IG. Of you in bed? Like it was like stories. Yeah. Okay.

Speaker 6:
[105:32] But Paul was not in any of the pictures?

Speaker 15:
[105:35] No.

Speaker 9:
[105:36] Not even like his shoulder. So that it was, people were aware that you were with somebody.

Speaker 6:
[105:42] Talk about the-

Speaker 15:
[105:43] I mean, look, could people think I was with somebody?

Speaker 9:
[105:47] Sure.

Speaker 15:
[105:48] But like, I was in bed.

Speaker 8:
[105:51] She was showing that post-y glow.

Speaker 6:
[105:53] What about, is that what it's called?

Speaker 7:
[105:56] I don't know.

Speaker 6:
[105:57] What about Paul saying that you were fighting with somebody? Were you fighting with somebody?

Speaker 15:
[106:02] Well, somebody like started DMing me and getting weird and then called me and like we had to like, he was just getting crazy. So I did talk to him for a second.

Speaker 8:
[106:10] What do you mean getting weird? They didn't like the pictures you posted?

Speaker 15:
[106:15] They liked them too much, it seems. They were like, what are you doing? Who are you with? Bah, bah, bah. It's like none of your business.

Speaker 6:
[106:25] Okay, so Paul, all this stuff is going on. She's taking the pictures, she's doing this whole thing. Why do you not roll over or however you're in bed and say, who's that? What's going on? Is everything okay? Did you say that?

Speaker 22:
[106:42] Well, like I said, this was just a hookup and we were both, like I said, pretty drunk. It was at, we are already hooked up. I didn't really think there was anything else to be said or done. It's clearly a messy situation. Again, I'm not coming from a place of judgment here, Gina, but like, I know you got a kid and I'm assuming, again, I'm connecting dots here. Like, I figure that's probably who's angrily who you're talking to. And I don't want to feel like a rebound. I don't know, that's not chill, that's not cool.

Speaker 9:
[107:14] It's not even that to me. It just feels like there's a lot of drama.

Speaker 22:
[107:16] Yeah, messy.

Speaker 9:
[107:17] It's very messy.

Speaker 11:
[107:18] Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 22:
[107:20] And that's fine, whatever. Then I wash my hands.

Speaker 1:
[107:22] Like, there's nothing to be.

Speaker 6:
[107:24] My issue is that you guys work together and the idea that you guys are messing around and then now you got to work together. And I necessarily don't blame Gina as much for it as Paul. Like, just at least come to an understanding about what's going on. I know you're kind of taken back by what happened that night with her on the phone, but Anthony, what do you think?

Speaker 4:
[107:45] Okay, so let me get this straight. They did whatever they did or whatever, and she decided to just take pictures and all that afterwards. Somebody who else she's messing with that she's not going to admit, got butt hurt and blew her phone up, so dude got every right to be mad. Like, why is he blowing up your phone? Unless y'all in some type of relationship or-

Speaker 6:
[108:06] It's a baby daddy, Anthony.

Speaker 3:
[108:08] That's what we found out.

Speaker 9:
[108:09] And it does feel like it's a little antagonistic on her part of like, baby daddy obviously know, like, I don't know.

Speaker 6:
[108:16] I mean-

Speaker 4:
[108:16] That's exactly what it is, because I've had the same issue with my son and mother. Like, I might be out with somebody and somebody sees something, and here come her sister or somebody, oh girl, guess I've seen Anthony and such, such, such, such. I mean, I don't have that problem now, because I'm in a relationship with somebody else and she not going to say nothing about it. But it's just a simple point. You're not going to mess up what I got going on.

Speaker 6:
[108:37] Yeah.

Speaker 4:
[108:37] All right.

Speaker 6:
[108:38] Okay. A lot of people, by the way, also texting similar to that, saying that Paul is justified. She is weird. Jen, comment from you. Hi.

Speaker 9:
[108:48] Hi.

Speaker 13:
[108:48] She's lying, because first she said she was in the bathroom taking the picture, but she was like, I was in bed.

Speaker 8:
[108:53] Yes.

Speaker 9:
[108:54] Yeah, I caught that too.

Speaker 6:
[108:56] Which pictures were you posting, Gina?

Speaker 15:
[109:00] The ones of me in bed.

Speaker 6:
[109:02] Okay. Jen.

Speaker 13:
[109:04] Then why were you talking about you in the bathroom?

Speaker 15:
[109:07] I wasn't.

Speaker 6:
[109:08] You did say that.

Speaker 8:
[109:09] I think she meant to say he was in the bathroom, but she might have got that messed up.

Speaker 6:
[109:13] Jen, what do you think about the fact that she's posting while she's in bed? Like, put your damn phone down and have fun. You guys just got done fooling around. Right. It's almost kind of like, hey, let me show off a trophy here for a second. What do you think, Paul, about the idea that you guys work together? And also, how close do you work together? Like, do you guys see each other every day? Like, we are all in one room together? Or you guys work in different areas? Yeah.

Speaker 19:
[109:41] It's a big office.

Speaker 22:
[109:42] I don't know. Look, I think the reason why people discourage this type of workplace stuff is for this very reason. I was, to be clear, this was unexpected. Um, and I think we will figure out a path forward. I just think.

Speaker 6:
[110:01] Did you really go into this for a long-term relationship or were you doing?

Speaker 22:
[110:04] No. Come on. No.

Speaker 6:
[110:05] Okay. So, so it's the unexpectedness of this. You had to think, though, this is going to get weird after we fool around. Like, the idea that she's inviting you back to her place. Yeah. Yeah. It's weird. I will say this. We've had people in our office as recently as not that long ago, where they'll go out with each other, they'll hang out, they'll do their thing. And then they expect that they're going to come in the next couple of days and everything's going to be good. One person at least is going to get weird about it. And if one person gets weird about it, then it's a weird situation. And it's something that you don't want to have to deal with it. Megan, what's going on? It's In The Morning. Hi.

Speaker 11:
[110:49] Hi, Mojo. Hey. I'm calling in regards to Gina and this whole situation coming from a woman that has two crazy exes. She was finally feeling herself. She's trying to move on. Yeah, it's always going to be a messy situation when there's kids involved, but I don't think that, you know, she is a bad person. She was just feeling herself and finally, you know, got to break free and have some fun.

Speaker 9:
[111:20] I think there was a lot more calculation behind that.

Speaker 6:
[111:23] Yeah, but she was trying maybe to put a little seat out there to the baby daddy. What's up, Sierra? What's going on? Last call.

Speaker 13:
[111:32] Yeah, I feel like, you know, she probably did that on purpose because whatever her and her baby daddy might be going through, they might be fresh off their break up. She probably was just trying to make him jealous, like, oh, let me post, you know, me being in the bed so he can assume that I'm with somebody.

Speaker 9:
[111:48] That's why I even said, was his shoulder, like any part of him so that the baby daddy could look and be like, hmm.

Speaker 13:
[111:56] But even if it wasn't, like, he knows it's not her bed, he knows it wasn't her bed.

Speaker 6:
[112:00] A Friday night bed pick is not something that you just post because you're watching movies in your bed. A Friday night bed pick is somebody there.

Speaker 13:
[112:09] Well, you know, he's not there, so it was right. She did say it was her bed, but you know, he's not there, like, okay, why you posting pictures in the bed?

Speaker 6:
[112:16] Yeah.

Speaker 13:
[112:17] Somebody must be over there. That's why he said, who you with?

Speaker 23:
[112:20] Who's over there with you?

Speaker 6:
[112:21] Exactly.

Speaker 13:
[112:22] She was, it was well calculated on her part.

Speaker 6:
[112:24] Thanks, Ciara, appreciate it.

Speaker 21:
[112:32] This is In The Morning.

Speaker 13:
[112:34] All right.

Speaker 6:
[112:36] Secret Sound is still worth $13,000. 844-665-6548. 844 Live, DFCU Financial, and In The Morning Secret Sound. Part of our $20,000 giveaway with DFCU Financial celebrating 20 years of giving cash back.

Speaker 21:
[113:01] In The Morning's dirty on the 30.

Speaker 6:
[113:03] We'll get you caught up on what's trending in the dirty, and then we'll do the Secret Sound right afterwards on your home of War of the Roses tomorrow morning, seven and nine o'clock. What's happening, Shannon?

Speaker 9:
[113:12] So Drake has turned his newest album rollout into a spectacle, and we have a date today. So instead of a normal announcement, Drake hid the release date inside of this massive ice sculpture in downtown Toronto, and he instructed his fans to literally break it open or melt it open to find it. A streamer named Kishka, I think is how you say his name, eventually uncovered the date after getting through the ice.

Speaker 14:
[113:37] Iceman, May 15th.

Speaker 10:
[113:41] May 15th.

Speaker 9:
[113:42] So it was like a newspaper type of thing that opened and it said Iceman, and then that release date. A lot of people were like, well, that was anticlimactic, and also seemed very staged that it was this particular person that found it. But something else that I am hearing some whispers of, and that is Morgan Wallen is rumored to be appearing on Iceman. Did you hear this?

Speaker 8:
[114:02] Oh really? I didn't hear that. That is interesting.

Speaker 9:
[114:05] Yeah. So this speculation has been building kind of quietly for a while. They have a lot of past connections. Morgan did a cameo in Drake's new music video. Drake showed up to one of Morgan's shows, and then Morgan's song, Interlude, a lot of fans think that that's going to turn into an expanded full track possibly with Drake involved. So we shall see.

Speaker 6:
[114:26] By the way, I was talking to somebody the other day, and they say that Morgan is a huge Michigan fan, likes Michigan sports, and wants Dusty Mays to be who walks out with him.

Speaker 9:
[114:37] Oh, really?

Speaker 6:
[114:37] The coach of the national championship basketball team in July.

Speaker 9:
[114:42] New England Patriots coach, Mike Vrabel, talking about the controversy surrounding those photos of him and Diana Rossini at that resort in Arizona, and he said, yeah, it definitely caused some issues for him behind the scenes.

Speaker 14:
[114:54] You know, I've had some difficult conversations with people that I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive. We believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me. We never want our actions to negatively affect the team. We never want to be the cause of a distraction. You know, and what I... Those are comments and questions that I've answered for the team and with the team. We'll keep those private and, you know, to ourselves. I care deeply about this football team and I'm excited to coach them. I also know that I'm going to attack each day with humility and focus. And what I can promise you is that the... my family, this organization, the team, the staff, the coaches, everybody, our fans, most importantly, will get the best version of me going forward.

Speaker 6:
[115:55] You know what?

Speaker 9:
[115:56] I actually really like that statement. Done.

Speaker 6:
[115:58] A lot of people thought it was just beating around the bush. They were waiting for him to take questions.

Speaker 23:
[116:02] They didn't take it.

Speaker 9:
[116:03] But like, we don't need or deserve to know dirty details of what he and his wife had to talk about.

Speaker 6:
[116:07] He had to do it then because you know what this weekend is.

Speaker 23:
[116:11] What?

Speaker 13:
[116:12] Oh, you love, you love this. The draft.

Speaker 9:
[116:15] Oh, so we're not going to see or talk to you.

Speaker 6:
[116:17] Draft in Pittsburgh. No, you know what? I'm not as excited because I feel like the Lions.

Speaker 9:
[116:21] I thought you loved the draft.

Speaker 6:
[116:22] I love the draft normally, but this draft class to me is just whatever we are. You know who's going to go number one. It's going to be that Indiana football quarterback or maybe not. Who knows? Maybe there'll be a surprise, but I just feel like the Lions have done nothing to get me excited for this NFL season with any of their off season moves. We need something good. I hope these guys get some stuff up their sleeves. This team has got literally this much left before we run out of.

Speaker 9:
[116:49] I heard Calvin Johnson say when he was in the studio the other day that he still thinks they can do it.

Speaker 6:
[116:52] Well, yeah, but he did say it has to be now.

Speaker 8:
[116:55] Do we know if he was under the influence? No, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 6:
[116:58] Calvin needs to come out of retirement. I'd like him to come out of retirement. Wouldn't that be great? Win a Super Bowl. Him and Barry come out of retirement. We get those guys a Super Bowl.

Speaker 9:
[117:07] The guy behind K-pop's global explosion, including BTS, is now in some serious legal hot water. Police want to arrest Bang Si-hyuk, the billionaire founder and chairman of a company called Hybe It's the company behind BTS as part of a fraud investigation. Authorities say he misled investors. He told them that his company had zero plans to go public, which led some of them to sell all of their shares. Well, investigators say then a private deal tied to those shares later earned this guy more than $100 million. He is denying any wrongdoing. And it is an unlikely friendship, but a great one. President George W. Bush and former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Speaker 1:
[117:50] I get a little antsy, as I'm sure you know. And I was sitting next to-

Speaker 6:
[117:54] Oh, you know what you should set up this clip. They were at a funeral, right?

Speaker 9:
[117:58] He does talk about that.

Speaker 6:
[117:59] Yeah, they were at a funeral and a lot of people remember when it went viral, when he handed her a piece of candy or something at the funeral. He explained that, yeah.

Speaker 1:
[118:07] I get a little antsy, as I'm sure you know. And I was sitting next to Michelle. That's who I sit next to at funerals. And that's kind of teasing her and stuff. And I slipped her an Altoid. Not as a joke, but I thought she might want one. And I got in the car afterwards and he said, You're trending. I didn't know what trending meant. And it turns out the country has starved to see a, you know, a white center right Republican and an African American center left Democrat having fun and being able to converse, not as political figures, but as citizens. And I intend to continue to try to do that.

Speaker 6:
[118:49] That's kind of nice, isn't that nice? Yeah, the world needs to get nice.

Speaker 9:
[118:53] A little feel good story from the Today Show.

Speaker 6:
[118:56] Altoids are a horrible candy.

Speaker 9:
[118:58] They are, they really are. But if my breath is bad, that's what I need.

Speaker 6:
[119:02] I'm into the circular lifesavers, though, that are the tastier ones. There's two different kind of white ones. One of them tastes horrendous. It's like two-

Speaker 9:
[119:14] Peppermint in the blue bag is terrible. Wintergreen in the green bag is the way you need to go.

Speaker 6:
[119:19] It's like good candy, yes.

Speaker 9:
[119:21] All right, if you missed anything from Today Show, go back and listen to the podcast on the iHeart Radio app.

Speaker 6:
[119:25] People are gonna get mad at me.

Speaker 9:
[119:26] Why?

Speaker 6:
[119:27] We're gonna do a commercial break and then we're gonna have a guess, a chance to win. $13,000, Secret Sound. Come on, Shannon, be the announcer on this one, here. Are you ready?

Speaker 1:
[119:58] It is time for...

Speaker 14:
[119:59] Mojo's Secret Sound!

Speaker 1:
[120:02] Wow, that is really good.

Speaker 14:
[120:04] I need my sequins. Laser.

Speaker 2:
[120:07] Brought to you by DFCU Financial, the cash back credit union. Shannon, will you welcome Daniella from Genesee County?

Speaker 14:
[120:16] Welcome to the show, straight out of Genesee County, Michigan. Daniella.

Speaker 2:
[120:19] Yeah, listen to that.

Speaker 14:
[120:21] Give a warm welcome.

Speaker 2:
[120:23] That was unbelievable, wasn't it? I mean, you got Shannon there with the deep voice going on and saying hello to you. Hi, Daniella, how you doing?

Speaker 14:
[120:30] Good morning.

Speaker 4:
[120:32] Hi, good morning, guys. First time, long time.

Speaker 5:
[120:36] Let's make the kid.

Speaker 4:
[120:38] Can you guys say hi, Mojo? Say hi, Mojo.

Speaker 6:
[120:42] Hi, Mojo.

Speaker 7:
[120:44] Who do we have with you?

Speaker 4:
[120:45] Those are my kids, Ethan and Elena.

Speaker 2:
[120:47] Hi, guys.

Speaker 4:
[120:48] I have Elena and I have my son, Ethan. He's nonverbal.

Speaker 2:
[120:52] Oh, hi, buddy.

Speaker 8:
[120:53] How are you?

Speaker 2:
[120:54] Hi, both of you. Hi, cutie pie. Hi, my friend.

Speaker 8:
[120:57] I like you.

Speaker 2:
[120:57] So hold on a second. So wait a second. I got to make sure I get this right here because I don't want to shout out the wrong people. I got Daniella. And then who do we have? We have Ethan, who's in the car with you and Elena. And Elena.

Speaker 21:
[121:10] What's up, guys?

Speaker 2:
[121:12] Whole squad. All right.

Speaker 4:
[121:14] Well, we are actually dropping my son off at ABA therapy right now. So we're sitting in the car.

Speaker 14:
[121:20] OK.

Speaker 2:
[121:20] I love it. And you says here that you're from Genesee County, but where Flint or where are you from?

Speaker 4:
[121:26] Mount Morris. It's like close to.

Speaker 2:
[121:28] Mount Morris. I know Mount Morris. We played that. Joe played basketball there. So he played. I actually it was a big, big tournament that we had. All right. Ready. Are you ready for some money?

Speaker 4:
[121:39] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[121:40] What would you do with 13 grand? What kind of, what kind of spending would you go on?

Speaker 4:
[121:46] Well, my son's ABA therapy bill and his speech therapy need to get taken care of. It's starting to rack up on us. And we also need a new roof for my mom and a few things done around our house. So basically all that money is going to bills and carpet, hopefully, and a roof for my mom.

Speaker 2:
[122:09] All right, and for Ethan. All right, well, here we go. It is Secret Sound week number three. This will be the full week number three of this. Daniela, for $13,000, what is Mojo's secret sound?

Speaker 4:
[122:32] Okay, I'm going to say a container or a bag of nuts in Lydia's snack crate.

Speaker 2:
[122:41] So it's a container or bag of nuts in Lydia's snack crate.

Speaker 4:
[122:46] Yeah, maybe moving back and forth.

Speaker 2:
[122:48] Just moving back and forth in there.

Speaker 11:
[122:52] It's-

Speaker 4:
[122:52] I'm guessing.

Speaker 11:
[122:53] Don't play with me, Mojo.

Speaker 2:
[122:54] Unless it, no, here's the thing. Again, very good guess. Just not specific enough to make a winner out of you.

Speaker 12:
[123:07] Is it no?

Speaker 2:
[123:09] Yeah. Daniela, it's a great guess. It's a phenomenal guess. But unfortunately, it is not the actual answer. And-

Speaker 4:
[123:20] Okay.

Speaker 2:
[123:21] And so I need you to call again. I keep saying this to people, but I need you to call again because every bit of what-

Speaker 4:
[123:27] I have been calling.

Speaker 2:
[123:28] Every bit of what you need that money for is so worthy of $13,000. And unfortunately, I can't give it to you off of that.

Speaker 4:
[123:39] Okay.

Speaker 2:
[123:39] All right, I feel horrible. Can you-

Speaker 4:
[123:41] I'm gonna try again at 930.

Speaker 2:
[123:43] Okay, so you will be able to listen at 930 because I want to make sure that you're able to listen. All right, you are. Good, all right.

Speaker 4:
[123:49] It's getting through. That's the problem. I've been trying to get through.

Speaker 2:
[123:54] I'm gonna give you a piece of advice. Do not call until you hear, and it can be on the iHeard Radio app because I know there's sometimes people say that it's got delay. We always wait to start counting numbers until it catches up on the stream for there. So we always make sure we count numbers. Lydia doesn't go counting numbers at the moment. She hears me say, call number 95. She waits for me to say the name, the phone number, all that stuff, and then she starts counting. So people calling early, you have a disadvantage because it's way too early to call.

Speaker 11:
[124:28] All right?

Speaker 12:
[124:29] Okay.

Speaker 11:
[124:30] All right. I will try again.

Speaker 2:
[124:32] Thank you, Daniela.

Speaker 12:
[124:33] Bye.

Speaker 8:
[124:34] Bye, Ethan and Elena. See you guys.

Speaker 2:
[124:37] Bye, guys. All right, In The Morning show, Five Lies, Tell Your Moms coming up here in just a little bit. Anna wants to call out the poop on the sidewalk people. Downtown Detroit has poop on sidewalks?

Speaker 9:
[124:49] Yeah, well, basically that's like my front yard because I live in an apartment in downtown Detroit and we have a front entrance and a back entrance. And sometimes I go in and out of the back entrance, which is like a sidewalk.

Speaker 2:
[125:04] Whoa.

Speaker 14:
[125:05] Kev's not here.

Speaker 9:
[125:05] He has. Gosh dang it.

Speaker 6:
[125:06] If you know what I mean.

Speaker 9:
[125:08] I don't like that I said that. Anyway, sometimes I do go out that door and it's all concrete sidewalks. But this in the back door, it's a little like messed up. Like it's uneven, there's some gravel. And somebody in my apartment has to be letting their dog use the bathroom directly outside of our back door. And it's like puddling into the crevice, like because the sidewalk's uneven. So it smells, it looks yellow. I've seen dog poop right there. So I know it's like an animal. I'm like, come on, there's a dog park literally a block away. And y'all are letting your dog go to the bathroom.

Speaker 2:
[125:49] It is amazing to me how inconsiderate dog owners can be that will let their dogs duty like this on a sidewalk where people are walking. I have, so I have the similar thing that where, my neighborhood dog park is my yard. They come to my front yard and they just poop all over my yard.

Speaker 14:
[126:13] I don't understand dog owners that I see people just through the middle of the yard.

Speaker 2:
[126:17] They don't pick up anything. And I, by the way, can never be blamed for this because my dogs don't ever go on walks. But I'm going to tell you, the worst is, I came out the other day in my driveway. Somebody let their dog poop on, and it wasn't my dog. I know my dog's poops. You want to know how I know them? They all are the same size.

Speaker 14:
[126:35] They're like tootsie rolls.

Speaker 2:
[126:36] They're little ones. This one was like a big old wolf dog. And I know it's not my neighbor, Jen, because Jen's the best dog owner also and she lost her dog. But so it's somebody down the street or on the street behind me. But let's go to yours here real quick. Let's call out the pooper.

Speaker 9:
[126:53] How do you catch them?

Speaker 2:
[126:54] Poop Patrol.

Speaker 14:
[126:55] There's no camera by an entrance to your building. There should be a camera there.

Speaker 9:
[126:59] That's another story. Yes, there are cameras, but they're not always on, I found out.

Speaker 2:
[127:04] We need to, oh, that's not good for security. We need to get Mayor Sheffield on this. I think you should have your dog's fine for this.

Speaker 9:
[127:13] I feel like they're doing it because it's the back door, so it is sort of an alley, but it's not really an alley, but even if it was.

Speaker 14:
[127:21] I don't care where it is, you gotta clean up the poop.

Speaker 9:
[127:23] And the worst, the poop is gross, I can walk around it though. The pee is like, it's a puddle of pee because like I said, the sidewalk's uneven, so it's a little pool of pee, and it just stinks so bad, especially now that it's getting smelly, or getting hot out. And I just, I'm like, how do I get this to stop?

Speaker 14:
[127:42] Not making an excuse for this person because I don't agree with what they're doing, but downtown does need, especially around where you live, needs to do a better job of accommodating owners. I feel like there's just, where do you go? Where do you take your dog to pee and poop?

Speaker 9:
[127:53] I kind of live in an area called Capitol Park, and there is a small dog park right there.

Speaker 14:
[127:58] There is?

Speaker 9:
[127:58] Yeah, but it's a few blocks away from where I live. But yeah, they have a bunch of dog parks.

Speaker 2:
[128:05] Look at Josh Innes last night at Bark in the Park at...

Speaker 9:
[128:09] I know, it was probably his dog.

Speaker 2:
[128:11] Ross.

Speaker 9:
[128:12] Ross is his dog's name.

Speaker 2:
[128:14] What do you think Ross is doing to his neighbor's yards there? Those are big, ginormous duties there.

Speaker 14:
[128:20] You know what's driving me nuts in my neighborhood? And I live on a corner, so I feel like maybe I just have more area to hit is people who will pick up their dog's poop in a bag and then leave the bag on my driveway, on my little fence, on the sidewalk, on the grass, whatever.

Speaker 5:
[128:38] I'm like, why? You gotta carry it with ya.

Speaker 2:
[128:41] Yeah, that's just as gross. Do you think they're coming back to pick it up on their way back or no?

Speaker 14:
[128:46] Every single day.

Speaker 2:
[128:48] Really?

Speaker 14:
[128:48] Every day.

Speaker 9:
[128:49] Like they planned on coming to pick it up, but they forgot.

Speaker 14:
[128:51] I mean, you don't.

Speaker 2:
[128:52] Here's a question for you. Is it a neighborhood foul if you have your cans out for garbage day and they open up your lid and throw it in there?

Speaker 14:
[129:00] I never do that to anybody else. My neighborhood goes crazy with that on our Facebook page, so you just know you don't do that.

Speaker 2:
[129:07] It pisses me off because it's only in the bag, and the bag gets stuck at the bottom of the thing with the gross stuff that's there. What's up, Angelica?

Speaker 7:
[129:16] Hey, I just wanted to say that drives me nuts because I live by an animal shelter, and they have volunteers that come and help walk all of the dogs there. And when they walk by my house, they let their dogs poop in my front yard.

Speaker 9:
[129:32] Do you ever say anything to them?

Speaker 7:
[129:35] It's hard to catch them because a lot of the times, I'm either not home or sometimes they don't walk by my house, so they might walk a different route, so it's kind of hard to catch them.

Speaker 2:
[129:47] Yeah, the shelter needs to get themselves into trouble. I'd go in there and complain about that.

Speaker 9:
[129:51] You need a sign.

Speaker 2:
[129:52] What's up, Meaghan? How are you doing?

Speaker 5:
[129:55] Hey, good morning.

Speaker 14:
[129:56] Good morning.

Speaker 5:
[129:58] Okay, so I know you're probably not the only person that lives there that is aggravated with this poop situation. You shouldn't have to, but sometimes we have to be the bigger person. Maybe it could be like when you're parked in like a... I know I can't swear, but like a jerk in like the parking lot, you write like a little note and you leave it on like the windshield. Maybe write like a little note and post it in the area and be like, very polite. Just be like, hey, nobody wants to step in poop when they walk outside. Please and thank you.

Speaker 2:
[130:34] She needs to be in an apartment caring.

Speaker 21:
[130:35] And I'm sure other people.

Speaker 5:
[130:37] Yes, I mean, you have to sometimes.

Speaker 14:
[130:40] That's not even being a caring to me. A lot of people live there. It sucks that they're constantly going through pee and poop to go in and out.

Speaker 2:
[130:47] What's up, Peter?

Speaker 17:
[130:50] Mortifying to hear about this poop and pee story. When I lived in New Orleans, this lady lived above me in the French Quarter, and she used to let her gorgeous dog poop and pee off the balcony. No.

Speaker 9:
[131:04] Would it drizzle down?

Speaker 14:
[131:06] That's so gross.

Speaker 17:
[131:07] Oh, my baby Jesus. It was the worst thing ever. And one day, I get all these ring notifications. Well, I had a Logitech camera, but anyway, the basically ring notifications. And it's my neighbor who's really heavy. She's wobbling in front of the apartment. And I look at it and I'm like, what is this woman doing? And I send it to my friend and I can't swear. So I'll say, he goes, oh my gosh, she's a shoe picker. She was downstairs barefoot kicking her dog's poop.

Speaker 2:
[131:41] Oh, that's gross.

Speaker 17:
[131:43] What?

Speaker 2:
[131:43] Why is she barefoot in the French Quarter? That's gross too.

Speaker 17:
[131:46] I don't know. Eventually. And then the landlord, it was even worse. The landlord goes, well, I can't control an animal.

Speaker 1:
[131:54] I was like, oh.

Speaker 2:
[131:56] He was talking about her. He wasn't talking about the animal.

Speaker 5:
[131:59] Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 17:
[132:02] You know how I got out of it? I had to hire a lawyer and they wrote that it was uninhabitable and that I was entitled to an abatement of rent and a cancellation of my lease.

Speaker 2:
[132:09] Oh my God.

Speaker 14:
[132:10] You got your lease.

Speaker 2:
[132:11] That's unbelievable. That's unreal. What's up, Marvin? Hi. What did you do, Marvin?

Speaker 11:
[132:18] Hey, first time long time. You know what? I was having an issue out of my neighbor that kept he a math like it was a girl. She kept letting her dog poop in my front yard. I said, OK, I know how to fix this problem. So one day I got upset. I scooped up the dog poop and I put it on a doorstep. I love it. You don't step in.

Speaker 9:
[132:42] So you knew exactly what neighbor it was.

Speaker 11:
[132:46] Oh, I know exactly, because I got cameras.

Speaker 9:
[132:50] Oh, man. I should know what it is out there.

Speaker 2:
[132:52] That's the best. I love it. Put it right on their doorstep with the cameras there. Oh, my. You know what you need to do is you need to take the pictures of these people and post them.

Speaker 9:
[133:01] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[133:02] Like you got to have the picture of that lady kicking the poop with her bare foot.

Speaker 14:
[133:06] That is so disgusting.

Speaker 2:
[133:08] Horrible. Marvin, have a great day, buddy.

Speaker 11:
[133:10] Yeah, it is. You too. Bye.

Speaker 2:
[133:13] Bye.

Speaker 13:
[133:14] WKQI Detroit, WSNX Mesquite, Grand Rapids, WVTS Toledo, Channel 955, 1045SNX, and 925KISSFM, an iHeart radio station, guaranteed human.

Speaker 2:
[133:29] Hold on. Last call. Ricky, hang up or no? Is Ricky gone? I think Ricky is gone. What did Ricky say, Lydia?

Speaker 16:
[133:36] He said he found out that his neighbor was letting the dog poop in the yard and he let it accumulate over time, picked all the bags up and lined the neighbor's driveway with all the dogs with the bags.

Speaker 2:
[133:46] Like those luminaries at Christmas time? That's hysterical. All right, Five Lies Tell Your Mom. If you would like to be on our Five Lies To Tell Your Mom and phone scam your mom, text MOM to 95500. Right afterwards, we're going to give out the word that could win you $1,000 for the first time this morning, and then we'll do it 13 times today. Pay Your Bills is back here on In The Morning. Ashley's ready to do Five Lies To Tell Your Mom. Hi, Ashley.

Speaker 25:
[134:23] Hi.

Speaker 12:
[134:26] Oh, I love it.

Speaker 2:
[134:26] You're nervous. I can tell from that voice.

Speaker 25:
[134:30] She's driving to my job if I don't hurry up and drive.

Speaker 12:
[134:33] All right.

Speaker 2:
[134:34] Let's do this fast. Bianca, what do we got planned?

Speaker 25:
[134:37] All right.

Speaker 3:
[134:37] So Ashley's brother still lives with mom, and we're going to pretend that Ashley heard a rumor saying that mom has a favorite child.

Speaker 2:
[134:44] Okay.

Speaker 3:
[134:45] And it's not Ashley.

Speaker 2:
[134:46] And it's not you. Ashley, here we go. These are the lies the listeners need to listen for, okay? Lie number one, you got to say, I ran into Brenda earlier. Who's Brenda? That's Maya. Okay. Lie number two.

Speaker 14:
[135:02] She told me something very upsetting.

Speaker 2:
[135:05] Lie number three.

Speaker 12:
[135:06] So you love Ashton more than me.

Speaker 2:
[135:09] And Ashton now is your bro?

Speaker 12:
[135:13] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[135:13] We got Ashley and Ashton. That's got to be confusing when they're screaming at you guys when you're kids. Lie number, yeah.

Speaker 25:
[135:21] His nickname is Booby, so I might have to say Booby.

Speaker 2:
[135:23] Yeah, go with Booby. Okay, all right.

Speaker 15:
[135:25] You love Booby more than me.

Speaker 9:
[135:27] Lie number two.

Speaker 2:
[135:28] Lie number four.

Speaker 9:
[135:30] And you wouldn't care if I moved away?

Speaker 2:
[135:33] Oh my gosh, wow. Lie number five. I see how it is. You're messed up, Mom.

Speaker 9:
[135:39] Are you ready?

Speaker 25:
[135:40] Okay, yes.

Speaker 2:
[135:42] All right, we're calling your mom. She's on her way to come tell you that she doesn't love you. Hang on one second. Here we go. Five lies. Tell your mom.

Speaker 23:
[135:55] Cord, your name and reason for calling.

Speaker 7:
[135:58] I'll see if this person is available.

Speaker 11:
[136:02] Mom, it's me.

Speaker 23:
[136:04] Thanks.

Speaker 5:
[136:05] Please stay on the line.

Speaker 23:
[136:08] Hello? Hey.

Speaker 11:
[136:13] Can you hear me?

Speaker 25:
[136:17] You can hear me? Yes. Yeah. I had ram into Brenda. What happened? She told me some upsetting news. What? Why? She told me that you love Booby more than me. I can't do some **** like that. That don't sound right, Ashley.

Speaker 8:
[136:49] That don't sound right.

Speaker 25:
[136:50] And you don't care if I move away?

Speaker 8:
[136:55] Why would I say something like that?

Speaker 25:
[136:56] Now, Ashley, something happened. Is there something going on with you? That don't sound right.

Speaker 12:
[137:01] Brenda, that don't sound like something Brenda was saying.

Speaker 25:
[137:04] Brenda don't talk like that. I see how it is. You're messed up, Mom.

Speaker 21:
[137:12] Are you mad at me for something?

Speaker 8:
[137:14] What did I do?

Speaker 7:
[137:14] I never did anything to you.

Speaker 25:
[137:16] I always think you were respect.

Speaker 8:
[137:18] Brenda, you sure Brenda saying something like that?

Speaker 25:
[137:21] That don't seem like something Brenda was saying.

Speaker 20:
[137:23] Let me get Brenda out here because I got to see what's going on. Lord, I'm just so nervous right now.

Speaker 25:
[137:30] Why would I say something like that? I love you. I love you.

Speaker 20:
[137:34] You're my girl. I would never, I'll do anything for you.

Speaker 25:
[137:38] Why would you say something like that?

Speaker 20:
[137:40] Brenda says that? For real? That don't sound like what Brenda would say.

Speaker 8:
[137:45] I got to find out.

Speaker 25:
[137:46] Y'all are giving me a heart attack.

Speaker 20:
[137:48] I'm worried now.

Speaker 25:
[137:54] You know I wouldn't say nothing like that. Actually, you've been doing me for a long time.

Speaker 20:
[137:59] You know I wouldn't say nothing like that.

Speaker 25:
[138:02] Get Brenda on the phone. Get Brenda on the phone. Okay, hold on, get her on the phone.

Speaker 20:
[138:10] Hold on, sweetie, let me see if I can get Brenda.

Speaker 25:
[138:15] Wow, Brenda, that don't seem like something Brenda would say.

Speaker 6:
[138:18] It's so weird to me.

Speaker 25:
[138:20] I'm just worried.

Speaker 6:
[138:22] I'm just worried.

Speaker 25:
[138:25] Just get her on the phone.

Speaker 8:
[138:26] Just get her on the phone.

Speaker 25:
[138:28] All right, honey, hold on.

Speaker 20:
[138:30] Let's see if I can find her number. Where did you see Brenda at, sweetie?

Speaker 23:
[138:37] Oh, Lord.

Speaker 25:
[138:38] My heart went to the store yesterday.

Speaker 11:
[138:43] Brenda got a car?

Speaker 20:
[138:44] Brenda ain't got no car, though.

Speaker 7:
[138:46] And it was my sister Brenda.

Speaker 6:
[138:49] Let me get Brenda on here.

Speaker 25:
[138:50] Let me see if I can get her. Come on, Ashley, don't sound right.

Speaker 6:
[139:02] Sound something strange.

Speaker 25:
[139:03] Hello? Is Brenda on here?

Speaker 20:
[139:08] Hello?

Speaker 12:
[139:09] Girl, I'm worried about my child.

Speaker 25:
[139:13] Is Brenda on here?

Speaker 20:
[139:14] Girl, she said that.

Speaker 12:
[139:15] Ashley?

Speaker 25:
[139:17] Is Brenda on here? I'm here. Yeah, I'm here.

Speaker 20:
[139:21] Yeah, hey, what's going on?

Speaker 25:
[139:25] Tell my mom what you told me about her loving Boogie more than me.

Speaker 20:
[139:31] Ashley, I ain't even seen you. Something ain't right.

Speaker 12:
[139:35] I gotta get to the hospital.

Speaker 25:
[139:36] Ashley, something's going on with Ashley.

Speaker 12:
[139:38] I gotta get up here. Something ain't right with my daughter.

Speaker 25:
[139:42] Something ain't right. I don't know if somebody engaged my child something, but something ain't right.

Speaker 5:
[139:46] I gotta get in this hospital.

Speaker 12:
[139:49] Uh-uh, something ain't right.

Speaker 20:
[139:50] Something ain't right, Brenda.

Speaker 25:
[139:52] Actually don't talk like this.

Speaker 2:
[139:55] Ashley's mom and Ashley's aunt, are you guys there?

Speaker 25:
[140:00] Yeah, something ain't right with my child.

Speaker 2:
[140:02] So I got, wait a minute, I got Francis is Ashley's mom, and Brenda is Ashley's aunt, Aunt Brenda, right?

Speaker 25:
[140:11] Yeah, what's going on with my child? I'm coming in, something ain't right, and actually don't talk like this.

Speaker 20:
[140:16] Something that happened to my daughter.

Speaker 2:
[140:18] Mom and aunt?

Speaker 20:
[140:19] I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 2:
[140:21] This is Mojo from the In The Morning radio show. And your daughter and your niece, Ashley, had you guys on Five Lies To Tell Your Mom and just phone scammed you.

Speaker 20:
[140:36] I don't do that, because that's embarrassing.

Speaker 8:
[141:13] Don't do that, that can't be right.

Speaker 2:
[141:16] Well, listen, mom, mom, mom, real quick, when daughters and sons do this to their mom, they're doing it for a good reason, because they're trying to win you a prize and tell you how much they love you. And Ashley, what do you want to say to your mom?

Speaker 25:
[141:33] Mom, I love you so much. My girl, you love me so much.

Speaker 8:
[141:38] Yeah, but that's not the truth.

Speaker 20:
[141:41] Don't do that.

Speaker 2:
[141:43] Can I, wait, can I ask, Aunt Brenda, what do you think about this whole thing?

Speaker 18:
[141:59] It's Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 23:
[142:07] I love her.

Speaker 2:
[142:08] Carrie, what's up? It's In The Morning.

Speaker 6:
[142:11] Oh my God, y'all had me ballin this morning.

Speaker 15:
[142:14] Oh my God.

Speaker 2:
[142:15] Oh geez, I felt so bad though.

Speaker 12:
[142:17] She was crying, I felt so bad.

Speaker 2:
[142:20] Yeah, that was, don't do that, don't do that. My daughter, she was talking, thinking her daughter's doing some kind of drugs. Allie, what's up? It's In The Morning. Hi.

Speaker 20:
[142:30] Hi. Oh my gosh. First of all, first time, long time.

Speaker 11:
[142:33] Hey, allie on the phone.

Speaker 15:
[142:34] Allie on the phone.

Speaker 20:
[142:38] Oh my gosh. You had tears in my eyes. You had me screaming at the radio. Mojo, please say something. I wanted to. You were berating my heart. I needed you to interrupt.

Speaker 2:
[142:50] I didn't know what to do, especially because Bianca was texting her saying, get the aunt on the phone. I was like, oh my god. Don't do this to me.

Speaker 20:
[142:59] I was crying, knowing my relationship with my mom, hearing how immediately panicked she was. And she was like, oh my gosh, honey, whatever I have to do, I'll give you a second. I was like, oh my gosh, help her.

Speaker 2:
[143:11] That was so cute. Yeah. Thank you for the call, Allie. Call more often, please. We want to hear from you more often. What's up, Rochelle?

Speaker 6:
[143:17] Y'all terrible.

Speaker 12:
[143:19] I can't know. Y'all terrible. I heard the fear coming from that lady's eyes. I said, Mojo, you better jump in and say something to y'all back there and let that woman go crazy. Y'all terrible.

Speaker 2:
[143:30] I know. I know. I feel bad.

Speaker 25:
[143:32] That Mojo ain't no good.

Speaker 2:
[143:33] Yeah. That was bad. No good. I love you, Rochelle. Love you, guys. Bye.

Speaker 18:
[143:39] All right.

[144:53] Hello, hello. Shannon, I was going to do your topic next, but it's no way that Lydia is going to get any phone call in for a topic that you're going to do right now because guess why? Everybody's calling for secret sound. So instead, do you mind if I do whatever you want?

Speaker 14:
[145:11] It's your show.

Speaker 2:
[145:12] Thank you. I appreciate that. That's very nice of you. But I just want you to be forewarned that is coming up right afterwards. We have a we have a cool thing that just came out and it's so wild because it was a year ago too and maybe two weeks ago that Tony Travato walked into the WVKS, the Kiss 92 studios when we were broadcasting there. And Daniel and you and myself and Kevin were all hanging out. Bianca were hanging out. And you remember he handed the phone to me, and it was Craig Kitchen from the Radio Hall of Fame calling to tell me what I thought was, you didn't get nominated and all this stuff. And I ended up getting nominated, and then I ended up winning. Actually, I got the times wrong. No, it was a little bit later. Are you sure?

Speaker 14:
[146:10] I think it was this time of year.

Speaker 2:
[146:11] No, they contacted me about the nomination. It was when he told me I won. Okay, it was when he told me I got in.

Speaker 14:
[146:15] Oh, that's right.

Speaker 2:
[146:16] So I guess it was in June. I'm completely wrong. Forget all that stuff. They just announced the nominees for the 2026 Radio Hall of Fame, which by the way, the Radio Hall of Fame, I don't know if I even told you this, guys. Did you guys hear that they had asked me for something that I honestly am probably the most honored about? They asked me if I would be on the board of the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago, which is part where the Radio Hall of Fame is.

Speaker 14:
[146:48] Wow, that's huge.

Speaker 2:
[146:48] Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 14:
[146:49] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[146:50] So they asked me to be on the board for this museum, which we got a chance to see the infancy of it because it just moved literally that weekend that we had. Just so you know this, it's a way better place than what it was the induction week. Completely changed it. Dave, who runs the thing, Dave Plyer is one of the masters of being able to put this thing together. He has gotten together with Bob Newhart. Do you know who Bob Newhart is?

Speaker 14:
[147:19] The Bob Newhart Show. I used to watch Nick at Night religiously.

Speaker 2:
[147:21] Bob Newhart is a legend in communications, but in acting, Bob Newhart's family, along with Paul Harvey's family are going to put a ton into it. It's going to actually be really cool. So here are some of the nominees, I would like to congratulate some of these people because these people are, or actually most of these, all these people. Some of them I know, some of them I don't know. Some of these people, honestly, I'm telling you, I stole millions of things from over the years. Some of these people literally yelled at me, including one of the people that's nominated, but nominated for this year's Radio Hall of Fame, Andy Summers, Big D and Bubba, Chicago DJ legend Bob Stroud is nominated, Boomer Esiason is nominated, here's the guy that yelled at me, the legendary voice, Charlie Van Dyke, yelled at me when I was-

Speaker 9:
[148:12] Why'd he yell at you? What?

Speaker 2:
[148:14] He was the voice of our station at KRQ in Tucson, and I asked Charlie to reread something because it didn't sound good, and Charlie goes, yes, not, no, son of a bitch, yelled at me, I swear to you. Yeah, yelled at me. Enrique Santos from iHeart is nominated. Legendary Chicago DJ, WLS Fred Winston. Funkmaster Flex is nominated. Helen Little is nominated. Legendary Joey Reynolds is nominated. John and Ken from LA and Paul Corvino's favorite talk show ever, nominated. My good friend, and this was one that I pushed for a few people. I pushed for one at the end that I'm going to tell you, and then I pushed for Art. And I'm going to tell you a little bit about that in a second. I wanted Art Volo on there. But I also pushed for Johnny Magic. Johnny Magic from XL1067 in Orlando. Johnny, in the morning there, Johnny Magic's nominated and we got to get him in because he's honestly one of the greatest human beings ever. The guy who I listen to every single midday when I was growing up in Chicago and WLUP, but also legend to Grand Rapids, Kevin Matthews is nominated, Kid Leo is nominated, Larry Elder is nominated, Lee Arnold, Monica May, Pat Hughes, Ricky Smiley is nominated. I love Ricky. I also love this guy because he's my brother from my Norm mother, Norm Schrutt's very own, Ryan Cameron nominated. Ryan, who's been literally the voice of Atlanta for so many years, legendary, and you know him by his hat, Shotgun Tom Kelly nominated.

Speaker 14:
[150:01] Oh my gosh, yeah, with the feather.

Speaker 2:
[150:03] And then here's one of the biggest ones ever. This was one of the ones that I'm so glad that Craig put together to make sure that he got nominated because I really do think it's an important thing that he be in the Radio Hall of Fame. If they put me in the Hall of Fame and did not put him in the Hall of Fame, it would be a travesty. The biggest legend in the city of Detroit history, the Electrifying Mojo has nominated for the Radio Hall of Fame. And we gotta get, and I know he probably doesn't even like the accolades. Matter of fact, can I tell you a quick story?

Speaker 9:
[150:37] Yeah.

Speaker 14:
[150:38] People always get you guys confused. Like not realizing obviously just-

Speaker 9:
[150:42] I'm a little confused right now.

Speaker 2:
[150:43] What is the Electrifying Mojo? Is who Prince should be in heaven right now giving gifts to down here on earth. Because if it wasn't for Electrifying Mojo, Prince would have never been found. What is it?

Speaker 9:
[150:57] A show?

Speaker 2:
[150:58] He was the DJ that was on the air. Yeah. Back in the day. And Electrifying Mojo, this is the call I get a couple of weeks ago. Get a call from Craig. Craig says, I need to know where I can find Electrifying Mojo. I said, your guess is as good as mine because I've tried to get Electrifying Mojo to get in contact and I wanted him to come here on the air with us over the years and then we've asked him one time years and years ago, decades ago, and he declined. He is best friends with Lee Robinson.

Speaker 11:
[151:25] Oh really? They're really good friends.

Speaker 2:
[151:28] So Lee connected them together and Electrifying, is Lee out there?

Speaker 11:
[151:33] Let me look.

Speaker 2:
[151:33] Go look and see if Lee's out there.

Speaker 14:
[151:34] I'm looking him up because I didn't even know what he looked like.

Speaker 2:
[151:36] Is Lee there? I don't think so. No? No Lee? Well, Lee's going to be excited. Electrifying Mojo nominated and he's got to win this thing. I have to tell you something. You want to hear some craziness? Hold on. Let me see if I got this. Lee sent this to me. It is so damn good. Lee sent me some audio.

Speaker 14:
[152:00] Of the other Mojo?

Speaker 2:
[152:02] Oh yeah. Ready for this one? Hold on a second here. The Electrifying Mojo.

Speaker 19:
[152:08] Hello. Welcome to the Midnight Funk Association. The International Midnight Funk Association. This is him. With thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of members all over the metro. The International Midnight Funk Association. Ontario, Ohio, Michigan, and the world for the next hour. Absolutely the livest music on the planet earth will be heard. We're the members of the Midnight Funk Association.

Speaker 2:
[153:01] So, this is Electrifying Mojo's, his thing was, man, they played some of the greatest music ever, stuff that... They played music that literally, probably Kev's grandma and Kev's mom and dad made babies to.

Speaker 19:
[153:19] So, it was amazing.

Speaker 14:
[153:21] He was on the air for... I mean, wasn't he on the air for like decades here?

Speaker 2:
[153:25] I don't know how many, how long it was specifically, but let's put it this way, he was on for a long time, but he could be on for a short time and he would be noticed.

Speaker 14:
[153:34] He made an impact.

Speaker 2:
[153:35] Like that's how much of an impact this guy was. So, and I'm so proud of it. And when I first came to Detroit, I was Mojo since I was 18. And so when I came, Steve Schramm did not want me to use the name Mojo. Because Electrifying Mojo was that big of a deal. He said, yeah, I don't think that people will understand when all of a sudden, you know, this white Cuban guy walks out and is not Electrifying Mojo. And I said to him, I go, and I'd be honest with you, I can't take the job. I was going to go down and take a job in Philadelphia all because of it. So they let me use the name Mojo, which thank God they did because that was my name. But I have always had a lot of respect for Electrifying Mojo.

Speaker 14:
[154:14] Two decades.

Speaker 2:
[154:15] So happy, was it?

Speaker 14:
[154:15] Two decades.

Speaker 2:
[154:16] So 20 years. Isn't that wild? And if it's crazy, people don't understand. Like that's to be on the air for five minutes is a long time in radio. You used to never see, you know, people would work one contract usually two or three years. So don't worry.

Speaker 9:
[154:33] I know now I'm getting nervous.

Speaker 2:
[154:36] You're good. So that's cool. That is, that's such a cool thing. Hold on, George is on with us right now from Sixth Lawn. George, do you remember the Electrifying Mojo or was he, he was past your, I think we're too young for Electrifying, weren't we?

Speaker 8:
[154:50] I can't believe you're bringing him up. My older cousins used to tape it for me so I can listen to it the next day because it was on so late.

Speaker 2:
[154:58] Really?

Speaker 8:
[154:58] Really? He played that. It was unbelievable.

Speaker 2:
[155:01] Yeah, Electrifying.

Speaker 8:
[155:02] That is so funny.

Speaker 2:
[155:02] Electrifying Mojo nominated for the Radio Hall of Fame and I'm so happy and I'm gonna push for people to vote for him. I couldn't get Art Volo on this year, but I'm getting Art Volo somehow.

Speaker 3:
[155:14] Art's got to get on there.

Speaker 2:
[155:15] Art Volo does not get in being dead. I hate when people get in the Hall of Fame being dead and Art's got plenty of years left, believe me. He sent me a text last night and tried to call me at nine o'clock at night. Who calls a morning guy the night before a show at nine o'clock at night? Art Volo. Real quick before I do Secret Sound, I want to welcome George to the show. Say hello to George from 6-1.

Speaker 8:
[155:40] Hi, guys. Happy Wednesday.

Speaker 2:
[155:42] Happy Wednesday. George, we're getting together and we're going to make moms look beautiful on Mother's Day. And I love that you and all your staff at the Sixth Salon in Detroit are going to take part in this. The Friday before Mother's Day, we're going to do this.

Speaker 8:
[155:59] We are so excited. May 8th, Mojo's Mother's Day makeover at Sixth Salon in Detroit.

Speaker 2:
[156:04] I love it. And you know what? We've done Naughty Mom's Night out in the past. We've also done a couple of times where on Naughty Mom's Night out, we had hair and makeup and things done. Do you know that, you know, I mean, obviously they got excited when they saw guys walking around, you know, looking hot and stuff. Do you know that them just getting their hair done was like the biggest treat ever? I mean, absolutely.

Speaker 8:
[156:26] Absolutely. Well-deserving mom getting pampered. How much better does it get than that?

Speaker 9:
[156:31] And Sixth Salon gives the best blowouts.

Speaker 2:
[156:34] Oh, hey.

Speaker 8:
[156:34] I appreciate that. On your hair. Thank you so much.

Speaker 2:
[156:36] Who do you go to there?

Speaker 9:
[156:38] I see her name is Anna. Anna.

Speaker 8:
[156:41] Anna sees Anna.

Speaker 9:
[156:42] Yeah, Anna sees Anna.

Speaker 14:
[156:43] That's easy to remember.

Speaker 9:
[156:44] And I actually just saw her and she did a fantastic job. So thank you.

Speaker 2:
[156:48] George, talk to me about what it's like to have a woman in your chair, you make them look beautiful and they walk out of that place and you can see that the confidence level just went up a bajillion points.

Speaker 8:
[157:00] Listen, I talked to my younger staff. I said, you have a half hour to 45 minutes to change someone's outlook on their day. To me, we are such instant gratification, so to be able to take care of and pamper a bunch of well-deserving moms is so fantastic. Six is a great staff, so we just can't wait.

Speaker 2:
[157:15] Six Salon has locations in Birmingham, Royal Oak, and they have a beautiful location on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit. We're going to do it at the Detroit location. We're going to actually do our throwback throwdown on that Friday morning, May 8th, and then we're going to drive right over. It takes two seconds to get there, and then we're going to broadcast from inside of Six, which is going to be fun. That will be a good time.

Speaker 8:
[157:37] The staff is so excited that you guys are doing that, Mojo. They were just talking about it yesterday, sending me text messages. They're like, are they actually going to do it here? I said, yep, they are.

Speaker 2:
[157:45] And then here's the deal. At 10.30, we'll all take pictures and hang out, and we'll probably be there until like 11.30. And then at noon, you and I are at Grayson buying some new stuff.

Speaker 8:
[157:55] Absolutely.

Speaker 2:
[157:56] Like we always do.

Speaker 8:
[157:58] I was going to side text you and say, just so you know, we're going shopping. Students, we're done.

Speaker 2:
[158:02] So you tell Charlie, they better have some new stuff ready to go because we're going to be there with a credit card ready to go.

Speaker 8:
[158:08] I was told that next week.

Speaker 9:
[158:10] There might be one person more excited than your staff for this, and it is our very own Kevknows. Every day that he has been in studio lately, he has been talking about this. He's very excited to see the hot moms and the hot stylists. So just had to get that in there for him.

Speaker 22:
[158:27] Well, we won't let him down.

Speaker 2:
[158:29] Kev would be talking about that. George, coming up at 10 o'clock, I think, this morning, I'm gonna start giving away to moms a chance to be with us. Thank you for going on the air with us. Have you been listening to the Secret Sound Contest that we're doing?

Speaker 8:
[158:42] I have been, and I've gotten it wrong, and my wife keeps telling me, why do I keep saying the same thing? If they said it was wrong once, it's still wrong.

Speaker 14:
[158:49] You're just, you are dead sad.

Speaker 2:
[158:52] That's called being a man, George. That's a guy.

Speaker 8:
[158:56] I'm a guy, sorry.

Speaker 2:
[158:57] I do that all the time, and I'm just hoping to change people's minds. That's what I'm trying. I love you, brother. Actually, I love you like a brother, but you are. You are a brother. Seriously, buddy. Thank you, guys. I'll talk to you soon.

Speaker 14:
[159:09] Thank you, George.

Speaker 2:
[159:10] George from Sixth Line.

Speaker 18:
[159:11] Bye, guys. Have a great one. Thank you.

Speaker 2:
[159:14] Secret Sound. What does this sound? Ninety-fifth caller 844-665-6548.

Speaker 18:
[159:23] Mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30.

Speaker 2:
[159:25] All right. What is trending this hour, Shannon?

Speaker 14:
[159:28] You head to theaters next month to see The Devil Wears Prada 2, which I cannot wait to go see. You're going to see Anne, you're going to see Meryl and Emily. You will not see Sydney Sweeney. She was supposed to make a cameo. She actually filmed a scene for the beginning of the movie. She was going to play herself and be one of the celebrity clients of Emily Blunt's character. But her scene got cut. Why? The only official answer I'm being given is, quote unquote, it was a creative decision.

Speaker 9:
[159:59] That's a BS answer.

Speaker 14:
[160:00] Now a lot of people say it was because she has made some career choices, including that American Eagle campaign. And they're saying she just got too political. And they didn't even want to deal with it.

Speaker 2:
[160:13] It's funny because it was a huge for American Eagle to have her in there. The sales were crazy. But I think that's, to me, the Devil Wears Prada has a problem now because you made a decision to pull her or to scrap her. Now that story becomes the big story. And now you've got people that possibly-

Speaker 14:
[160:35] It's overshadowing the premiere that happened a couple of days ago. It's wild. You know?

Speaker 2:
[160:39] We talked off the air about this, but the next couple of days, we got to talk about this Michael Jackson movie that comes out on Friday. There are some people saying that people are trying, including the movie company, trying to make the movie not be great or big. And I talked to a couple of people that went and saw it last night, said it was the best movie they've seen ever. They said that it rivaled Ray, that movie that Jamie Foxx did about the legend Ray Charles. They say this movie is that good. You feel like you're watching Michael Jackson both when he was in the Jackson 5 with the younger actor that played him and then the older actor that plays him who is Jermaine Jackson's...

Speaker 14:
[161:19] Jafar, Jafar Jackson is who it is.

Speaker 2:
[161:22] His nephew.

Speaker 14:
[161:23] Yes.

Speaker 9:
[161:23] Oh wow. They say it's amazing.

Speaker 14:
[161:25] He's making his feature film debut and they say he is absolutely incredible.

Speaker 2:
[161:29] Kevin and I are so excited for this movie.

Speaker 9:
[161:32] Are you going together?

Speaker 2:
[161:33] I'm hoping that Kev does. I know Kev's gonna definitely go with Josiah, but I will say this about the Jafar. Jafar almost became a professional golf player.

Speaker 14:
[161:43] Really?

Speaker 2:
[161:43] Yeah. He's that good of a golfer and he chose to do this. His grandma, Catherine Jackson, gave the green light for him to do it. And he actually had to win the part and the movie company gave him the part because he was that good.

Speaker 14:
[161:55] Kanye West spotted leaving the Simon Weisenthal Center in Beverly Hills. This is important because that is a Jewish community center. He spent about an hour and a half inside when approached by reporters on his way out. He refused to say why he was there. Many myself say are thinking, you know, he's trying to repair relationships after all of the anti-Semitic comments he's made about the Jewish community over the past couple of years.

Speaker 2:
[162:19] I've heard rumors that Kanye wants to do a Detroit show and there's some troubles with them wanting to book them because of that. So, I hope that I listen, I think Kanye West is one of the most talented in our, you know, genre of music and stuff and I think that he's made some decisions and some comments and some things that he's done that have hurt a lot of people. But I'm wondering, you know, there's others that have done some bad stuff too. Like will Kanye not ever be able to be, is he canceled? You know, like can he come back from this?

Speaker 9:
[162:55] I think he can.

Speaker 2:
[162:56] It'd be interesting because there's a lot of people, I mean, there's rumors that he wants to do a world tour, but he wants Detroit to be one of his few cities.

Speaker 14:
[163:03] Well, in a lot of places won't even let him, a lot of countries won't even let him in at this point.

Speaker 2:
[163:07] Well, and in our country, there's a lot of venues that don't want him to come there.

Speaker 14:
[163:10] For sure, yeah. Are Harry Styles and actress Zoe Kravitz engaged? There are a lot of people saying it sure looks that way because she was out with Harry the other day wearing a rock on her left ring finger. You can Google to see what I'm talking about. They've only been dating since the summer, so less than a year, but neither of the reps will answer any questions about it for right now. Pistons taking on the Orlando Magic for game two of the playoffs tonight at Little Caesars Arena. The media caught Jalen Durin on his way out of practice last night. Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 10:
[163:45] They came out ready, I think, from the jump. We didn't really meet their intensity. They've been playing with their backs against the walls the last few weeks, so they were already rolling. I think we just got to do a better job.

Speaker 8:
[163:56] Is Kev working in the game tonight?

Speaker 2:
[163:58] He is.

Speaker 14:
[163:58] He is. Okay, so you'll see him there if you're heading out to LCA.

Speaker 2:
[164:01] Kev will skip out on our show. He ain't skipping out on that show.

Speaker 19:
[164:06] What kind of challenges does that create and how can you overcome that?

Speaker 10:
[164:09] I think it just makes us smarter reads. It makes us, you get in the paint and you got to kick it out fine shooters. You got to keep movement. You got to move those bodies. You can't really be stagnant and you got to play with some pace. So when we're playing with pace and getting the ball side to side and getting downhill, kicking out, finding Duncan, finding Tobias or just moving with a sense of urgency, I think you're able to negate their size and their physicality.

Speaker 14:
[164:33] And ending on another big local story, the University of Michigan said it is going to investigate some interesting and disturbing messages on Slack and via text from Regent Jordan Acker, who is denying having anything to do with this. The messages included some sexual comments about a Democratic Party strategist, also some sexual comments about a female University of Michigan student. The university issuing a statement from Regent Chair Mark Bernstein. He said, we are aware of the disturbing messages allegedly attributed to Regent Acker, including messages potentially referencing a University of Michigan student. He said, they immediately reported it. They expect it to be investigated thoroughly and fairly. Now, for what it's worth, Jordan Acker's attorneys called these allegations ridiculous, fake, and his attorney said he's never even been on Slack in the first place.

Speaker 2:
[165:30] On a side note, Kenyatta is upset with me because I said that I might be too young to remember listening to the electrifying Mojo. I'm definitely not too young because as a radio guy, I always listened and heard air checks from Ard Volo of different DJs over the years. I was a Chicagoan that didn't listen to a lot of Detroit radio back then, so I was listening to Chicago radio like Kevin Matthews and stuff, but also the other thing too is, I used to always hear all the time about HYT, which was the station that was always big. It was 96.3. And Bo the Jammer was always the guy that everybody was wanting to listen to. But Electrifying Mojo nominated for the Radio Hall of Fame, and we got to get them in.

Speaker 14:
[166:14] Awesome. Hey, if you miss anything from today's show or want to hear something again, go back and check out the podcast on the free iHeart Radio app.

Speaker 2:
[166:29] It is time now for Mojo's Secret Sound. Week three. And your chance to win a share of $20,000. The prize up for grabs, $13,000 this time. Off of the Secret Sound that we've been playing for you. Let us get to... What do we got here? Samantha from Holly, Michigan, is on with us. Hi, Samantha.

Speaker 9:
[166:56] Hey, Samantha.

Speaker 20:
[166:57] Hi, how are you?

Speaker 2:
[166:59] Good. Samantha, what's going on in Holly, Michigan?

Speaker 17:
[167:03] Oh, not much.

Speaker 23:
[167:04] Just at work. Been listening to you guys all morning for the last three weeks trying to do this.

Speaker 2:
[167:10] I like it. Okay. Samantha, Holly, Michigan. What are you doing, Holly? What do you do for work?

Speaker 23:
[167:16] I work at a heating and cooling company. The best one there is.

Speaker 2:
[167:20] Which one is that?

Speaker 23:
[167:22] Nickel, heating and cooling.

Speaker 2:
[167:25] Give them a little plug. What is going on with your phone? Your phone's got crackling. What is that on your phone?

Speaker 23:
[167:31] Because my hands are shaking.

Speaker 2:
[167:34] Are you on the handheld or are you using speaker?

Speaker 23:
[167:38] No, I don't have a speaker.

Speaker 2:
[167:40] Okay, all right, you're good. Well, that's okay. All I got to get is your guess in there. And if I get your guess, you can win this thing. Ready for this? What are you going to do with the money besides get a new cell phone if you win this?

Speaker 23:
[167:55] Well, I recently separated with two kids, so I'm going to use it for future.

Speaker 2:
[168:02] We got to get this answer right so that we can give away $13,000. Samantha from Holley, Michigan. DFCU Financial, the cash back credit union, wants to pay out $13,000. What is the secret sound?

Speaker 23:
[168:22] I think it's twisting the lid on a jar of peanut or peanut butter, like peanut, you know, or peanut butter, like the lid twisting it.

Speaker 2:
[168:33] Lydia, I need a little help. I need her to be specific, be specific, be more specific.

Speaker 23:
[168:42] Okay, I'm going to say it's twisting the lid on peanut butter, on peanut butter.

Speaker 2:
[168:53] No, Lydia.

Speaker 16:
[168:54] Yeah, I'm going to have to say no.

Speaker 14:
[168:59] But so many things to take away from that.

Speaker 2:
[169:04] Samantha, tomorrow morning, we're getting a winner tomorrow. Yeah, we are.

Speaker 14:
[169:10] We're getting a winner tomorrow.

Speaker 23:
[169:11] Tomorrow morning.

Speaker 9:
[169:11] They listen today.

Speaker 2:
[169:13] Tomorrow morning at 6.30, we do it, 6.30 tomorrow morning. Can you promise me that you can be here tomorrow morning at 6.30?

Speaker 23:
[169:28] Oh, I definitely will be. If I can guess again, I will be calling again.

Speaker 2:
[169:33] Well, whatever you just did, definitely got some people's eyebrows up in the air.

Speaker 21:
[169:40] I know, cause I know what it is.

Speaker 2:
[169:41] And when I say eyebrows, for me it's eyebrow, because I have one unibrow. All right, so tomorrow morning, Mojo's Secret Sound is back. Will we get the winner?

Speaker 18:
[170:05] Mojo gives you a baby is here, and Mojo is making dreams come true again. Tell us your story at mojointhemorning.com and you can grab that certificate that could get you IVF. What's better than a 3 a.m. feeding call and diaper bags full of fun? Special thanks to the person in charge of the stork, Dr. Ali Bazi of the Michigan Fertility Institute.

Speaker 2:
[170:47] I love all mothers, I'm a mother-lover. I love one particular mom, specifically my wife. Because I don't have idiot sons, thank God. Otherwise, I would be idiot sons. Kayla, are you there, Kayla?

Speaker 20:
[171:03] Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2:
[171:05] Good morning. Kayla, you're a mom to two. Who are the two?

Speaker 4:
[171:09] Roman and Annalise.

Speaker 2:
[171:11] Oh, I love it. And how old are they?

Speaker 20:
[171:15] Roman is five and Annalise just turned one last weekend.

Speaker 2:
[171:18] Oh my God.

Speaker 14:
[171:18] Oh, so you are a busy mom.

Speaker 2:
[171:20] Man.

Speaker 20:
[171:21] I have so many greys. I need this.

Speaker 2:
[171:24] We got to get you in with George and all the staff over at Six Salon Detroit. I know you're coming from Brighton, so it might be a little bit of a drive, but I promise you will be well worthy. Yeah. You get to hang out and have fun. You're in, Kayla. Congratulations to you. Kayla, mom of two. Those greys are going away. You're going to look hot on Mother's Day weekend.

Speaker 21:
[171:46] Thank you so much.

Speaker 2:
[171:48] Hang on one second, okay? Let me get Kim from, as my Keldean friends like to say, Westa Bloomfield. What's going on, Kim?

Speaker 23:
[172:00] Kim! Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2:
[172:02] Good morning. Kim is a mom also of two. What are your two's name?

Speaker 7:
[172:08] Pearson is eight and Kennedy is five. Boy and girl.

Speaker 2:
[172:14] By the way, these names are the best names ever that people are choosing for their kids. Kim.

Speaker 23:
[172:19] He sounds like he'll have a pro golfer name one day.

Speaker 7:
[172:22] Right. Right.

Speaker 2:
[172:23] Isn't that the greatest? Pearson up on the 18th hole here. I'm Jim Nance. Pearson hits this one. He beats everybody's least favorite golfer, Rory McIlroy. Kim, we're going to see you. Kim, congratulations.

Speaker 21:
[172:41] Thank you.

Speaker 2:
[172:42] Yeah, this is going to be great. Happy Mother's Day to you. Oh, early Mother's Day present for this.

Speaker 21:
[172:50] Yeah, thank you to all the moms too. Thank you so much, especially you, Shannon. Happy Mother's Day.

Speaker 14:
[172:55] Oh, I can't wait to celebrate with you.

Speaker 2:
[172:57] We're going to have fun.

Speaker 9:
[172:57] Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 14:
[172:59] It is going to be really fun.

Speaker 2:
[173:00] Yeah.

Speaker 14:
[173:01] Might get a little rowdy inside Sixalon.

Speaker 2:
[173:03] You know what? Can I tell you-

Speaker 14:
[173:05] We'll be on our best behavior.

Speaker 2:
[173:06] Can I tell you what they do at Sixalon too? They get a little cocktailing going on.

Speaker 14:
[173:11] They do a little cocktailing. Well, it's funny, because when I take Smith and Luce to get their haircut, they're always like, do you need anything? I was like, yes, wine. All the way to the top, please.

Speaker 12:
[173:18] Cops and models.

Speaker 2:
[173:21] I always sit there and I think to myself, do I really look that good when I'm walking out, or am I drunk? I don't know what's going on. All right, more chances tomorrow morning. Also, that secret sound tomorrow morning. So somebody's gonna win this thing, I think, tomorrow. It's In The Morning Show. We were talking in the studio, just me and the girls here. Without Kev, there's not enough. And no offense to Zach, I love Zach. There's not enough testosterone in Zach and I to even equal Kevkn. I mean, Kevkn's got the testosterone that we need. He also says the things sometimes that, honestly, I'm thinking to say, but I don't say because I'm afraid to get the bosses upset. And then I sit down with you guys, and we sit there and we talk dresses like we just did during the break. And I go, I think I like this better without Kevkn. I think I like having you guys all to myself.

Speaker 23:
[174:10] That's a lie.

Speaker 2:
[174:11] I do. I like the idea.

Speaker 9:
[174:12] It's a load of barnacles.

Speaker 2:
[174:13] I asked Kevkn in a tech. Kevkn's off these next couple of days, which we got to talk about. This son of a bitch is taking the day off so he can go work somewhere else. He's not taking it off relaxing on his couch or vacationing. He's doing a side hustle somewhere else right now. I said, do you miss us, Kevkn? He said, a little bit, mostly Lydia. So that's all he said. All right, so we were talking dresses.

Speaker 14:
[174:38] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[174:39] And I didn't realize for us girls, it's hard to find dresses.

Speaker 14:
[174:42] This is so dumb. It's dumb. But I actually have a bunch of events coming up in the month of May that I need dresses for. One is a gala. One is the Our Detroit Best of Party. We're going to the MAB thing. So I need all these actual dresses.

Speaker 23:
[174:59] And for girls, I don't know.

Speaker 14:
[175:02] I put something on my Instagram story last week because I'm out of ideas. I've checked all of the places that I normally check online. And I feel like I've become the person that companies hate or I am the chronic returner. And every day, Wes comes home and is like, what are all these boxes? I said, well, I mean, I'm in the dozens now. I've ordered dresses. I try them on at home. And then I haven't liked any of them. So Smith told me I look like a couch in one of them I tried on. I know. I did keep that one. I'll show it to you. Let's see if you say I look like a couch. I was like a very Bridgerton type dress. Anyway, but then I package them up and send them all back. My friend Meaghan's in the same boat because she's going to one of the school fundraiser galas with me. And she's like the look on the UPS store workers when we walk in. They know who we are now, but it's so dumb.

Speaker 9:
[175:53] I have the same problem. And I've also been looking for dresses. I think I'm just going to go old fashioned and I'm going to the mall and trying them on because this is way too hard and I don't know where else to look anymore.

Speaker 14:
[176:03] Do you look like a couch?

Speaker 13:
[176:07] He doesn't like it.

Speaker 2:
[176:08] No, you look like Sofia Vergara if she shrunk a little bit.

Speaker 9:
[176:13] No, I think that dress is amazing.

Speaker 2:
[176:16] It's a beautiful dress. It doesn't look, no, it's actually very nice dress.

Speaker 14:
[176:19] You like that one better, help me decide.

Speaker 9:
[176:21] It looks like a daytime gala.

Speaker 2:
[176:23] That's a nice one.

Speaker 14:
[176:24] I am telling you.

Speaker 2:
[176:25] Question.

Speaker 14:
[176:26] And here's the thing for girls that you don't understand.

Speaker 2:
[176:28] Yeah.

Speaker 14:
[176:30] Girls wear a dress once, especially in the age of social media, and you can't really wear it again.

Speaker 9:
[176:37] Or at least post about it.

Speaker 14:
[176:37] If you post a photo of it and you're wearing it, and everyone keeps telling me, rent the runway, rent the runway. I love rent the runway. I can't talk. I love rent the runway. I can't use it for formal dresses because I'm only five feet tall, so I have to get everything.

Speaker 2:
[176:50] Can you hem those?

Speaker 14:
[176:51] No. And they have petite, but there's never anything available.

Speaker 16:
[176:54] So that's not an option for me.

Speaker 2:
[176:58] This is interesting, because guys, we got it made. We can get a suit and change a tie if we want to.

Speaker 9:
[177:04] Lucky.

Speaker 2:
[177:05] Although I will say this for guys, if you haven't, and I get nothing for this. State and Liberty, if you've never tried one of their suits.

Speaker 14:
[177:13] That's Wes's favorite.

Speaker 2:
[177:15] It's the most comfortable suit ever. I actually find myself wearing suits around the house. That's how comfortable the suits are.

Speaker 9:
[177:21] Maybe I'll wear a suit to one of these things, because the girl who came in here, her suit was nice.

Speaker 2:
[177:26] That should be fun. But that's actually a different look. But let's talk dresses here for a second for women. So when women need to go to these things, which this is an unusual thing, I think that there's so much stuff going on. But I heard Chelsea the other day, talking to one of her girlfriends on the phone, and she was like, where do you go get dresses if you just need a dress for one-offs? You don't want to spend a ton of money.

Speaker 14:
[177:47] And they're kind of expensive. You don't want to go to, no offense, Windsor at the mall, because then you're wearing the same prom dress that all the high school girls are wearing.

Speaker 2:
[177:57] Well, the other thing, too, is you brought up a really interesting point. If a woman, like if you wear that couch that you showed me just a little bit ago, quote unquote from Smith, if you wear that, you can't wear that again.

Speaker 9:
[178:08] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[178:09] And because that thing is so memorable. You know what I mean? Maybe a black dress you can get away with, maybe even the pink dress that you just showed, you can kind of get away with, but you can't wear that other one because that other one is so distinctive.

Speaker 9:
[178:20] Just today, you told Bianca to rewear one of her dresses.

Speaker 14:
[178:23] Yeah, I'm like, you can't do that.

Speaker 2:
[178:25] Bianca wore a dress to the Michigan Medicine dinner that we had, and Bianca came with me as my date, and Bianca wore this dress that was amazing, but honestly, I don't think there were a ton of people that saw us there.

Speaker 9:
[178:42] But she posted in it, and you talked about it, so everyone knows about it.

Speaker 3:
[178:46] So I actually did rewear that dress. I wore it to the auto show, and I posted again in it.

Speaker 2:
[178:52] What you should do is you should wear your boyfriend Bryce's dad's sweatshirts.

Speaker 3:
[178:56] Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a good fit, Jack.

Speaker 2:
[178:58] To it. Marcella, Marcella, where can women go get dresses to get something nice to wear?

Speaker 12:
[179:07] My sister, Anna, she works at North St. Vincent Somerset, and she could help you pick out a dress. If you call and you can make an appointment with her.

Speaker 14:
[179:16] Wait, what? You said her name's Anna?

Speaker 12:
[179:19] No, I was talking to Anna.

Speaker 9:
[179:20] Oh, thank you.

Speaker 3:
[179:21] What's her name?

Speaker 2:
[179:23] What's your sister's name?

Speaker 12:
[179:25] Her name is Jayla Jordan. She works at North St. Vincent Somerset.

Speaker 9:
[179:29] You know what day she works?

Speaker 2:
[179:30] Do you know Jayla Jordan is okay with Anna not taking the price tags off, but hiding them and then returning the dress after?

Speaker 9:
[179:37] I would never. Bianca, maybe.

Speaker 2:
[179:39] Do you know that I actually had a North St. person yell at me, not yell at me, but they were like, you know that every time that you return something after you've worn it, it comes off our commission? I didn't realize that.

Speaker 9:
[179:50] That's a bummer.

Speaker 12:
[179:51] Oh, yeah. Well, not if you wear it, it's just, you know, when you return it. But yeah, she can help you.

Speaker 24:
[179:59] I think she goes to work tomorrow.

Speaker 9:
[180:01] Okay.

Speaker 12:
[180:03] Anna, I'll sue to a DM if she goes to work tomorrow. She did just go viral on TikTok, helping another influencer.

Speaker 9:
[180:10] Okay, I love it.

Speaker 2:
[180:11] All right, thanks, Marcella. Take care of yourself.

Speaker 12:
[180:14] No problem.

Speaker 2:
[180:15] How do we help the short girl over here?

Speaker 22:
[180:17] That's the problem.

Speaker 14:
[180:19] When I get a dress, I'm like, all right, because the first one's May 9th. I've got like two days to find something because then I gotta go get it hemmed.

Speaker 2:
[180:26] Chelsea just recently got a dress for the Michigan Medicine luncheon for the women's luncheon that's going to be at the Hudson's.

Speaker 9:
[180:35] We need to know.

Speaker 2:
[180:36] It is so hot on her. Like she looks so good in this thing and it's very perfect for like springy. It's got like these springy colors and stuff like that.

Speaker 9:
[180:45] Very formal.

Speaker 2:
[180:47] It can dress up but it also can dress down a little bit. Like it's really fun and she got it. She put it on and she wore it and she ordered it offline.

Speaker 12:
[180:57] It just fits.

Speaker 9:
[180:58] She got lucky.

Speaker 2:
[180:59] I was like so happy to see because it was something that she was kind of worked up about. But you have to ask her where she got it from because she loved it. What's up Amber?

Speaker 12:
[181:11] Oh, hi. Hi.

Speaker 21:
[181:14] First time, long time.

Speaker 9:
[181:16] Amber on the bus.

Speaker 2:
[181:19] Amber, us girls are just talking about outfits. What are your thoughts?

Speaker 21:
[181:23] Oh my gosh. I have so many events going on this summer. I also need to find a million dresses. I went to this really big thrift store near my house and the rates are short and I found probably two to three designer dresses that I looked up and were worth over $300 and they were on some blue tag sales so I got them each for like five bucks.

Speaker 9:
[181:50] Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2:
[181:52] Wait a second. What is this place called, this thrift store?

Speaker 21:
[181:56] It's called USA Thrift. It's on Fraschit and they have the, it's like, it's all clean, a lot of clothes and everyone buys dresses for one occasion, so they take a little bit short. You can hem them and change them up and it's so cheap.

Speaker 2:
[182:12] Wow, that's a great find. $300 each dresses you got for $5 each. That's amazing.

Speaker 21:
[182:19] Yeah, and they, there's so many new brands there.

Speaker 2:
[182:21] And you know why you did? Because you went to Gross Point. All the rich people were getting rid of their outfits.

Speaker 21:
[182:27] Exactly.

Speaker 2:
[182:28] Yeah.

Speaker 21:
[182:29] And it's the season where all like the older people are starting to die off. So their clothes are getting donated. You can find some good stuff in there.

Speaker 2:
[182:37] In all our listening areas, you go to these thrift stores that are near Perrysburg in Ohio, East Grand Rapids out in Grand Rapids and then Gross Point Birmingham and you get yourself some finds. What is this store called, how do you pronounce this store? Because I've seen it before. Azazie? Azizie?

Speaker 14:
[182:56] Oh, yeah. That's like whenever the kids are in weddings, I always get Lucy's like flower-girl dresses there. Azazie, I think is how I always...

Speaker 2:
[183:03] I've walked by that store all the time.

Speaker 14:
[183:04] Well, it's online.

Speaker 2:
[183:06] Oh, it is?

Speaker 14:
[183:06] It's online.

Speaker 2:
[183:07] I thought there's... What's the store in the mall that I cannot pronounce?

Speaker 14:
[183:09] You're thinking of Aritzia.

Speaker 2:
[183:10] Aritzia. Is that what it is?

Speaker 14:
[183:12] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[183:12] What is that? They don't have guy stuff at Aritzia, do they? No, not like gowns.

Speaker 14:
[183:15] No.

Speaker 2:
[183:15] Aritzia.

Speaker 14:
[183:16] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[183:17] What's up, Hanna? Hi.

Speaker 24:
[183:21] Good morning. I just wanted to say, Shannon, there is a luxury consignment store in Franklin, Michigan. It's like on the only road in Franklin. I think you should check it out. I found like Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, like tons of great designers. What is that?

Speaker 16:
[183:35] Is it still crazy expensive?

Speaker 2:
[183:36] Are you sure you're not in some woman's house in her closet robbing her? You getting Dan Gilbert's family here or something?

Speaker 24:
[183:46] No, on the top floor, they have like the sale racks and they're great because not a ton of people go in all the time.

Speaker 2:
[183:51] That's amazing.

Speaker 14:
[183:52] I did not know they even had that there.

Speaker 2:
[183:53] Oh my gosh.

Speaker 14:
[183:55] Thank you.

Speaker 2:
[183:55] All right, Hanna.

Speaker 14:
[183:56] Yeah, of course.

Speaker 2:
[183:57] These are all in the Detroit area. Man. Well, I hope that we helped. You know, it's funny you're talking about the UPS store. It's amazing how easy it is to return stuff nowadays. I can't believe how many people won't return.

Speaker 14:
[184:11] I have so many returns to do today. And now at the UPS store, which makes it me feel so much better. I don't even have to talk to anybody. They have just a scan. You scan and you put it on the table and you walk out.

Speaker 2:
[184:21] And you just go out. I don't know.

Speaker 9:
[184:22] Is that for us?

Speaker 14:
[184:23] It's real easy.

Speaker 2:
[184:24] That's gotta be the UPS store's biggest part of their business. Is that returning things?

Speaker 14:
[184:29] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[184:29] That's huge. All right, second date update coming up here in just a little bit. Is it okay to have sex with a coworker and then not call them back? That's next.

Speaker 18:
[184:41] In The Morning has a shot for you to win $1,000 now. Pay your bills is on.

Speaker 2:
[185:32] Why are you not getting a call back? Second date update right now, Gina not getting a call back. How did you guys meet, Gina?

Speaker 1:
[185:40] Hey, we met at work.

Speaker 2:
[185:42] Okay, so you not only went on a date with a guy that's not calling you back, now you got to see him at work?

Speaker 1:
[185:50] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[185:52] That's always weird. That's one of the ones why I think that inter-office romances probably are-

Speaker 9:
[185:57] Not a good idea.

Speaker 2:
[185:58] Yeah, frowned upon because what happens if it goes bad? So what was the date, what did you guys do?

Speaker 1:
[186:06] We went to a bar.

Speaker 12:
[186:09] Yeah, we went to a bar.

Speaker 2:
[186:12] Did anything romantic happen or anything?

Speaker 14:
[186:14] Like how did it end?

Speaker 1:
[186:16] At my place.

Speaker 2:
[186:18] Oh.

Speaker 14:
[186:19] Okay.

Speaker 2:
[186:20] Did he spend the night?

Speaker 1:
[186:23] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[186:25] Was this on a weekend and then you went to work the next week or was this on the night before work?

Speaker 1:
[186:31] Um, it was, uh, oh, it was like the Friday.

Speaker 2:
[186:36] Okay, so.

Speaker 21:
[186:37] And then we had the weekend.

Speaker 2:
[186:38] So you had the weekend. Because that would be wondering, wondering, something wondering. And we're like, would you guys go to work together at that point? Like, or would you guys have him leave a little earlier than you to go home and stuff? That would be weird. But so when you came in on Monday, what did he do?

Speaker 1:
[186:53] He like kind of like looked up like half-waved and then like went right back to his theater.

Speaker 2:
[186:59] And never has talked at all about that date since then.

Speaker 1:
[187:04] No, and he's like always like on the phone or like on the computer. Like he's always like really like busy or occupied or whatever.

Speaker 2:
[187:12] So what's the story behind this? Say hello to Paul, Gina.

Speaker 22:
[187:18] Hey. Hey, Gina.

Speaker 2:
[187:22] Paul, first off, Paul, you spent the night and you guys obviously had a good time and you can't even look up at her and say hi to her or talk to her at work.

Speaker 8:
[187:35] Okay, okay.

Speaker 22:
[187:37] Yeah, let's I don't know why we're being coy here. I feel like Gina should know why I'm not like hitting her back up at this point. We're all adults here. We had a fun night, but like that being said, she's acting crazy. She's acting crazy.

Speaker 2:
[187:56] I'm sorry.

Speaker 9:
[187:56] Why do you say that?

Speaker 2:
[187:58] Why do you think he's saying that Gina?

Speaker 1:
[188:01] I have literally no idea.

Speaker 2:
[188:03] Why is it Paul?

Speaker 22:
[188:05] Okay, look, we were both pretty drunk. So I didn't really know how to handle this in the moment. But after we hooked up, I'm pretty sure she was like taking selfies of us in bed and then at some point, like, okay, wait, wait. And then shortly after, you're getting a call from someone in the middle of the night, having this like intense argument. And like, I don't know, I'm connecting dots here. Like, how long have you been single?

Speaker 2:
[188:36] What does that have to do with anything?

Speaker 1:
[188:38] Excuse me?

Speaker 22:
[188:39] Well, I just think, is there another guy checking in on, like, what is he?

Speaker 2:
[188:45] Hold up one second. Go ahead, Gina, what are you gonna say?

Speaker 1:
[188:49] First of all, like, what are you talking about? I am not in a relationship. So like, what is, what's going on? Why are you, what's going on?

Speaker 2:
[188:55] Gina, let me ask a couple of questions, though, real quick, though. Were you taking pictures? Were you guys?

Speaker 1:
[189:01] Yeah, of myself.

Speaker 2:
[189:02] So you were doing-

Speaker 1:
[189:03] I went to the bathroom and I looked cute.

Speaker 2:
[189:04] So you were, so you did not take any pictures of yourself with Paul, you just took pictures of yourself. You took selfies. And why you were doing this after you guys had been together and what were you doing with those pictures? Did you send them to somebody or did you just hold on to them for yourself?

Speaker 1:
[189:23] I posted them on my IG. Of you in bed? Like it was like stories.

Speaker 11:
[189:28] Yeah. Okay.

Speaker 2:
[189:30] But Paul was not in any of the pictures?

Speaker 1:
[189:33] No.

Speaker 14:
[189:34] Not even like his shoulder. So that it was, people were aware that you were with somebody.

Speaker 2:
[189:40] Talk about the...

Speaker 1:
[189:41] I mean, look, could people think I was with somebody? Sure. But like I was in bed.

Speaker 9:
[189:49] She was showing that post-y glow.

Speaker 2:
[189:51] What about, is that what it's called?

Speaker 4:
[189:54] I don't know.

Speaker 2:
[189:55] What about Paul saying that you were fighting with somebody? Were you fighting with somebody?

Speaker 1:
[190:00] Well, somebody like started DMing me and getting weird and then called me and like we had to like, he was just getting crazy. So I did talk to him for a second.

Speaker 9:
[190:08] What do you mean getting weird? They didn't like the pictures you posted?

Speaker 1:
[190:13] They liked them too much, it seems. They were like, what are you doing? Who are you with? But it's like in your business.

Speaker 2:
[190:23] OK, so Paul, all this stuff is going on. She's taking the pictures. She's doing this whole thing. Why do you not? Why do you not roll over or however you're in bed and say, who's that? What's going on? Is everything OK? Did you say that?

Speaker 22:
[190:40] Well, like I said, this was just this was just to hook up. And we were both, like I said, pretty drunk. It was we are already hooked up. I didn't really think there was anything else to be said or done. It's clearly a messy situation. Again, I'm not I'm not coming from a place of judgment here, Gina. But like, I know you got a kid. And I'm assuming again, I'm connecting dots. You're like, I figure that's probably who's who's angrily you're talking to. And yeah, I don't want to feel like a rebound. I don't know. That's not chill.

Speaker 14:
[191:11] It's not even cool. It's not even that to me. It just feels like there's a lot of drama. Yeah, messy.

Speaker 22:
[191:16] Yeah. Yeah. And that's whatever. That's it. Then I wash my hands.

Speaker 2:
[191:20] Like, I have my issue is that you guys work together and the idea that you guys are messing around and then now you got to work together. And I necessarily don't blame Gina as much for it as Paul. Like, just at least come to an understanding about what's going on. I know you're kind of taking back what happened that night with her on the phone. But Anthony, what do you think? Okay.

Speaker 15:
[191:44] So let me get this straight. They did whatever they did or whatever. And she decided to just take pictures and all that afterwards. Somebody who else she's messing with that she's not going to admit. Got butt hurt and blew her phone up. So dude got every right to be mad. Like, why is he blowing up your phone? Unless y'all in some type of relationship or you got something going on in here too.

Speaker 2:
[192:04] It's a baby daddy, Anthony.

Speaker 3:
[192:06] That's what we find out.

Speaker 14:
[192:07] And it does feel like it's a little antagonistic on her part of like, baby daddy obviously know, like, I don't know.

Speaker 8:
[192:14] I mean, that's exactly what it is.

Speaker 15:
[192:15] Because I've had the same issue with my son and mother. Like, I might be out with somebody and somebody sees something and here come her sister or somebody, oh girl, guess I've seen Anthony and such, such, such, such. I mean, I don't have that problem now because I'm in a relationship with somebody else and she not going to say nothing about it. But it's just a simple point. You're not going to mess up what I got going on. All right.

Speaker 2:
[192:36] Okay. A lot of people, by the way, also texting similar to that, saying that Paul is justified. She is weird. Jen, comment from you. Hi. Hi.

Speaker 24:
[192:46] She's lying because first she said she was in the bathroom taking the picture, but she was like, I was in bed.

Speaker 9:
[192:51] Yes.

Speaker 14:
[192:52] Yeah, I caught that too.

Speaker 2:
[192:54] Which pictures were you posting, Gina?

Speaker 1:
[192:58] The ones of me in bed.

Speaker 2:
[193:00] Okay. Jen.

Speaker 12:
[193:02] Then why were you talking about you in the bathroom?

Speaker 1:
[193:05] I wasn't.

Speaker 2:
[193:06] You did say that.

Speaker 9:
[193:07] I think she meant to say he was in the bathroom, but she might have got that messed up.

Speaker 2:
[193:11] Jen, what do you think about the fact that she's posting while she's in bed? Put your damn phone down and have fun. You guys just got done fooling around. Right. It's almost like, hey, let me show off a trophy here for a second. What do you think, Paul, about the idea that you guys work together? And also, how close do you work together? Like, do you guys see each other every day? Like, we are all in one room together, or you guys work in different areas? Yeah.

Speaker 20:
[193:39] It's a big office.

Speaker 22:
[193:40] I don't know. Look, I think the reason why people discourage this type of workplace, you know, stuff is for this very reason. I was, to be clear, this was unexpected. Um, and I think we will figure out a path forward. I just think.

Speaker 2:
[193:59] Did you really go into this for a long term relationship? Or were you doing?

Speaker 22:
[194:02] No. Come on.

Speaker 15:
[194:03] No.

Speaker 2:
[194:03] Okay. So it's always the unexpectedness of this. You had to think though, this is going to get weird after we fool around. Like the idea that she's inviting you back to her place.

Speaker 15:
[194:15] Yeah.

Speaker 21:
[194:16] Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[194:17] It's weird. I will say this, we've had people in our office as recently as not that long ago, where they'll go out with each other, they'll hang out, they'll do their thing. And then they expect that they're going to come in the next couple of days and everything's going to be good. One person at least is going to get weird about it. And if one person gets weird about it, then it's a weird situation. And it's something that you don't want to have to deal with it. Meaghan, what's going on? It's In The Morning. Hi.

Speaker 6:
[194:46] Hi, Mojo.

Speaker 2:
[194:48] Hey.

Speaker 6:
[194:51] I'm calling in regards to Gina and this whole situation coming from a woman that has two crazy exes. She was finally feeling herself. She's trying to move on. Yeah, it's always going to be a messy situation when there's kids involved. But I don't think that, you know, she is a bad person. She was just feeling herself and finally, you know, got to break free and have some fun.

Speaker 14:
[195:18] I think there was a lot more calculation behind that.

Speaker 12:
[195:21] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[195:22] But she was trying maybe to put a little seat out there to the baby daddy. What's up, Sierra? What's going on? Last call.

Speaker 12:
[195:30] Um, yeah, I feel like, you know, she probably did that on purpose because whatever her, her baby daddy might be going through, they might be fresh off their breakup. She probably was just trying to make him jealous. Like, Oh, let me post, you know, be in the bed so he can assume that I'm with somebody.

Speaker 14:
[195:46] That's why I even said, was his shoulder, like any part of him so that the baby daddy could look and be like, Hmm.

Speaker 12:
[195:54] But even if it wasn't, you know, it's not her bed.

Speaker 6:
[195:57] You know, it wasn't her bed.

Speaker 2:
[195:58] A Friday night bed pick is not something that you just post because you're watching movies in your bed. A Friday night bed pick is.

Speaker 21:
[196:07] Well, you know, he's not there, so it was, right.

Speaker 12:
[196:09] She did say it was her bed, but you know, he's not there. He's like, okay, why are you posting pictures in the bed?

Speaker 2:
[196:14] Yeah.

Speaker 12:
[196:15] Somebody must be over there. That's why he said, who you with?

Speaker 23:
[196:18] Who's over there with you?

Speaker 2:
[196:19] Exactly.

Speaker 12:
[196:20] She was, it was well calculated on her part.

Speaker 2:
[196:22] Thanks, Sierra. Appreciate it.

Speaker 18:
[196:25] Your home of warm roses. The five lies to tell your mom phone scams. And Shannon's dirty on the 30. This is In The Morning.

Speaker 2:
[196:32] Tomorrow morning, Secret Sound is back. Will that be the day that we get ourselves a $13,000? You think so? We could get it scraping ice off of a window. It may happen. You never know. See you at 6.30 tomorrow morning for that contest. But earlier, 6 o'clock for the show, plus War of the Roses.

Speaker 13:
[196:54] 20 plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo and West Michigan.

Speaker 1:
[197:00] It's In The Morning.
