I watch this and I go, Amanda, please, you need to claim temporary insanity right now, because this is absolutely insane that you see what is happening with the two of them. And even though he makes amends and seemingly things are going to be okay between the two of them, what's crazy is that you know that how he can treat people. So you're literally almost being that, pick me of it's not like other girls. It won't be like that for me.

You know, she's like, Ciara, I see you. Like, you are so loved. You are so important. You deserve so much more respect than what you get. Like, such a girl's girl. Lifting her up in this moment. You know, Mia's like, I'm so sorry.

And I also think too, it was like, this summer at this point, we have to remember where we are and how her relationship is going with Kyle. It's like, a man is treating her nicely. Like he talked about that on Saturday, he was unclear if they were moving too fast. And then Sunday, he said, actually, let's move fast.

[11:12] I know. But I think it feels right. And I like what she said. Yeah, we are diving all in, but we're on the same page. And I appreciate Ciara and Mia taking him to the side and being like, it's kind of moving fast. They're trying to protect him. Like I would have twisted an ankle falling. And such a small moment there. But I was like, how did he do that?

[13:26] Well, and then, so then we get Ciara's confessional in this moment. And she's talking about like, maybe I want to be friends again. She's like, I love just giggling till 2 a.m., but I'm really scared to be his friend again. Like, I don't want to get bamboozled again.

[13:45] But in this moment, is she really, does she want to be friends or is she opening up the relationship? I'm genuinely confused.

[13:51] So this is what I was saying before with them, is the fact is, they weren't friends before they dated, right? Yeah. You came into the house, they attached themselves to each other pretty quickly. Like they had an instant connection. And sure, they were technically friends, but with a could be more. And so it's really hard when you don't have that foundation of friendship, right? To be like, let's be friends again, because there's always this flirtatious nature.

[14:18] They literally can't be friends. And that's the problem is like when I think she's saying like, I would love to be friends. But I think for her, she can't be friends with him. He could be friends with her because he knows how to do that, because he could be friends with anybody he's hooked up with at any single point as good at that. Disarming and charming. I mean, disarming and charming. But for her, and I think that there is, I think Two is like everybody has at this one point, Two is someone that they dated that will be the person that like, they come back into your life and you're like, God damn it. Like, I always have this connection with them. Even when you try to be friends, they're still just like this name, that line gets blurred. And for her, that is West, but it doesn't mean it's reciprocal.

And I enjoyed flirting with her after midnight. But to think I ruined it for making out with someone I never met really sucks. I'm like, where'd you meet the girl then?

I think the guys also are like, especially Jessie too, because I think Jessie, obviously Ciara is one of his besties, whatever. But I think he's also like, why would you do this? He said that in the confession. He was a voice of reason last week. But it's like, why would you do this when you guys are on decent terms? You didn't need to do it. You could have done it in the corner while she's sitting next to you.

[19:46] He can absolutely bring a girl to the house. But it's like, in these party situations, which also everyone's calling this the best party ever, no costumes, no props, just alcohol. Vegas, baby. Yeah, like Jesse Solomon, who put in zero effort, had the best party. And they're all saying it was the best party. Like, it's like a unanimous best party ever.

That all he had to do was have that combo with her before. Didn't maybe need to go as deep as the one that they had, but they could have just said, hey, we aren't anything. And he could have put the kibosh. I don't think he wanted to put the kibosh on it because he wanted to leave the door open if she wants to hook up with him again.

Your main objective is to have a good time. Is that a good time? Yeah, but like your main objective is to have fun in Summer House. Your main objective is not Ciara's happiness. Like don't lie to us there, but you need to just be- And he is a liar, I don't know.

And I think it's just best if we are not friends. And I thought that was really interesting because she's obviously upset at this point, right? Like this has just happened 24 hours, less than 24 hours. And it's just kind of like, now my walls are back up because you did that. So like you did, I just don't want to even talk to you right now. And I think that was the right statement in that moment because she's like upset about it. But also is like, I can't get heated about this. I can't get like show that he's like gotten to me. And I just need a moment away from him. Yeah.

And productions made us have this conversation and I need to close the door because I would love to go throw up. The headache I'm rocking right now, like the hash brown did not help. Yeah. [24:33] And why did you take a picture of my hand? And Mia's just like, this is exactly what I needed to hear. We have the same finger as like the hand moment meant so much to me because I don't want to forget what your hands look like. And her one question is, am I on the right track? And her mom's like, you gotta have more confidence in yourself. Like you feel stagnant. And she says, you know, don't worry, you're gonna have, I have chills. It's so cute. She says, don't worry, you're gonna have a baby girl that was always their plan.

[25:07] And that's crazy. The cynic in me wants to not believe a medium, right? Like they tell you what you want to hear, which sometimes that's all people need to, is just to hear everything's okay because you do need to feel this closure and you'll never have closure, right? She says, grief is so crazy and it totally is. But then you get like little snippets of things. And let's just say in a couple of years too, Mia has that baby girl. Then it's like, that's insane. But I kind of was like, I wouldn't mind seeing Tiffany. I don't know who's coming forward to say anything. Like, I don't know if anyone's like circling my orbit, but that was like, she just needed to hear that. And I think that was really great for her because the hands thing, that was like weird. I'm breathing okay. Like, the little details.

[25:56] The woman knew, the woman knew. I believe people can come forward. And I'm very curious because Mia thinks she's stagnant in the relationship. We got to meet Scott this week. Are they together?

We don't have a lot of good guys and I'm trying to find the good, okay? It's really tough.

And then they show the clip of Kyle going in. He says, wifey would like an Aperol spritz. I'll take a, and you know what? He's going to take a Guinness suit. Like they wanted to show a good side of Kyle getting the drink for West and Amanda, like wifey wants. And then he's like, here you guys go. It's just, was it originally in there? Sure, I don't know. But again, that different lens you have to look at, it's like, are we trying to make Kyle the good guy again?

[30:38] I don't, I don't know. But Kyle and Amanda seem to be doing well right in this moment.

Again, probably a good friend, not a good partner. But what's upset Amanda the most was that you've been such a good friend to me all summer with the Kyle stuff, which again, that's why I'm saying I think she's got this crush on him because somebody's being nice. And then to watch you disrespect Ciara, you've really put a weird dynamic on these relationships. And so I'm like, you're watching his behavior. This is not an exception. This is the rule of West. And you think you're going to be different.

[31:23] I know, I know. And for me, West in this moment, he's like, God, I just feel awful. I've had the scaries all week. And to me, he's having the scaries because he's afraid of the audience.

And they do have a flirtatious relationship that I think he was like, I would like to obviously be friends and not enemies.

So everyone goes the next weekend and we find out that Amanda isn't going to be there. And Kyle's like, just got off the phone with her. But we don't know why she isn't coming.

[33:08] And he walks in and he goes, So I don't feel better. After a week, I'm really bummed and I apologize. And then he just leaves.

[33:17] He's like, tell whoever's on FaceTime, like that's your future girlfriend. Your future dating partner, your future exclusive. We're not sure what the label is right now.

[33:29] But he did that just because he had to, because Amanda told me to apologize again. So he just said it again and he just says, I apologize. And it's so uncomfortable. It's so weird. They're giggling, cackling. And Ciara's like, are you fucking kidding me? That's all you're gonna say.

[33:47] And Amanda's like, I am so sorry Ciara. I can't keep saying you're witnessing this and you still think you're gonna be different. For Amanda, I hope it is. I hope it is different because this is crazy to watch all of this. And then I thought it was wild that then Ciara goes to the room because she's like reflecting back like, okay, I probably wanted to say some things or maybe production said to, was like, production was like, you guys gotta clear the air here. And walks in there and is like, hey, coffee tomorrow. And he's like, okay. And he like walks in, Jessie is fully showering. He walks in, she's like, hey, she wants coffee. And I just laugh, I go, these people have all seen each other naked so many times. Go, by the way, go watch the skinny dipping scene again from season one, or season 10, episode one. Okay. Just go watch that.

The whole house is talking. Oh my God. West and Ciara are having a talk. Like this is big, big shit. And Ciara, it also bothered me that Ciara had to kick off the conversation. It's like, he's such not a man. So she kicks off and she's like, so it's been two years of nothing really being said. And you know, I'm scared to be nice to you and be myself because I'm afraid I'm going to be embarrassed. Last weekend, the very thing, I was afraid of, actually happened.

[35:41] Well, but I loved, as I mentioned before, the breaking of the fourth wall here, I thought gave such intel about how they have to handle the show and their relationships. So like Ciara's like, I don't mean to rehash this, but the way you handled yourself in the media was the nail in the coffin. You downplayed our relationship and the exact quote, we aren't each other's people. I considered you my best friend and it's so hurtful because I don't not throw, I'm not Sheena Shea. Right. I don't have 56 people's locations and they're my best friend. Okay.

It really was downplayed their relationship because when he said, he started talking about that house, which means that that house conversation has been going on for two years. Yes. Like this is crazy. The fact that like you really were so deeply connected and you knew her inner thoughts and secrets and everything.

[37:29] Right, right, right. But didn't also what he said too. And the natural instinct is when they're pitting two people against each other. And this was so telling because he says, we are connected. And I'm like, here's the in-between lines. West doesn't want to be connected to Ciara as Summer House. He wants to be West Wilson's star of Summer House, not West Wilson who was on Summer House who dated Ciara. Like there, because when he came on the show, they connected so fast. He was, every conversation that's about West and talks about Summer House, Ciara gets involved in it. Not her personally, but the reporter will say, famously Wilson dated castmate Ciara Miller, age 31, you know what I mean?

[38:14] Exactly. He wants to be West Wilson, disarming and charming. But really, and he was saying, naturally, your reaction is to hate the person. I was like, that's not the natural reaction. The natural reaction would go to talk to that person and then be like, can we have a conversation where we can have a united front about what our relationship is? Not hate, but okay.

[38:34] I thought it was interesting that she's like, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you at that time when the press and the media were coming after you. I should have communicated with you.

And she's, Ciara's like, I don't want people talking shit about you. I don't think you're a bad person. I've never thought that. Like last year, I needed space and like, she basically takes her walls down. The music starts that violin and he finally says, I see you now. And they, like, this is all I wanted.

And he goes, I knew you weren't going to make out with Jessie. And he like wipes her tears. And I'm like, oh my god, this is the opening to this flirtatious relationship. She's like, and I was pissed you said you didn't care. And I'm like, oh my god, it is all along. She really was like wanting him to say something about that. And then there's just like, he's like, what could I have done? She's like, I don't know. Stop it. Save me. And I was laughing like, oh my god, like the way that they have banter too is that they like talk shit jokingly, like on jet, like the normalcy that she, she wants to resume normalcy.

[40:44] No, but what is she saying? She says, can we be best friends? But what is that? I think that is the opening of like, I want to give this another go as a relationship level. And I'm so curious what's going to happen this next episode because Amanda is like, they're best friends real fast, like getting a little jelly.

[41:07] Also like hinting towards, that doesn't look like friendship, like the flirtation is will they, won't they?

[41:16] I cannot believe. So 18 months later, she has decided basically, I, whatever best friends means. To me, that means a relationship. I do. You always say you can't be best friends with a boy.

[41:31] Harry met Sally said that, okay? That's what they said. But I do think that it's hard to have a friendship with guys if you're either not in a committed relationship. There's just because you can cross the lines. Apparently you could be separated, also cross the lines. So it's like, the lines can be crossed at any point, but like, normally when we resume normalcy, it's like, don't cross the lines.

[41:51] So then basically I feel like filming stopped and they start hooking up.

[41:56] It's definitely something happened off camera where they were like, I don't want this to be a storyline now, even though it's going to be a storyline. The thing is, it doesn't fucking matter anymore because they're not, we know what's happened.

[42:10] But that's what makes this so much worse. Because she's like, I want to be friends with you, best friends. Whatever that means, we're not sure what that means.

At what point, when did he disarm and charm you? And then not to not talk about it, if we talk about after the night out, where Kyle is talking to Ben and he has that confessional where he says, I'm having the best weekend of my life and it's my wife not here, this is me realizing we are worse off than I thought.

So it's just kind of like, it's just all crazy. And then next week, we just pop back into it and we're setting up scenes for In the City. Danielle makes an appearance at Soft Bar and we're setting up a timeline and a storyline of what's going on with Danielle and Lindsay.
