Speaker 2:
[00:30] Folks, hey, what's up? It's Ryan. This is your Wednesday episode. You made it halfway through the week. Today, we have Kaya Wilson from Bravo We're Black. We're going to introduce her in one second. I just wanted to give you a little forewarning. This is a super long episode. This is close to two hours long, and I'm not going to split into two parts, even though Kaya said I should. But I don't want to do that to you. I don't want to make you flip through and blah, blah, blah. So it's all in one episode. We talk about a lot. We talk about Summer House, obviously, we had both seen tonight's episode. This is not the full recap, not at all. So that is still coming on Thursday. But there are a lot of conversations had about Summer House. Then we talk about Real Housewives of Rhode Island from this week. And then we end it with a big old long recap of Real Housewives of Atlanta. It's super silly. It's serious. It's everything that you want in a podcast. Kaya is amazing. So make sure you go follow her with Bravo We're Black. And that's it. We're going to hop in. There will be two commercial breaks and that is it. So I hope you enjoy this super long episode of So Bad It's Good. And also, if you're a Patreon member, I want to let you know we are doing a live Patreon this upcoming Monday at 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. So come join us. It'll be live. You can ask whatever you want to ask. And we can we can sit and gab with each other for an hour. Okay, I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye, folks. Welcome back to So Bad It's Good. Today coming off our triumphant appearance on the Smith sisters on radio, Andy Channel 102. I told you to go listen to today, but I highly recommend it. I got to listen to about half so far and it was excellent. We're going to talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta, Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and whatever else we want to talk about. The one and only from Bravo We're Black, Kaya Wilson is back with us. Kaya, are you are you buzzing right now?

Speaker 3:
[02:13] Oh, I'm buzzing like I'm on Love Island. Okay, like it just feels so good. That was such a fun podcast to do and I was so nervous about it because it's live and it's also on Radio Andy.

Speaker 4:
[02:28] So I've been on a podcast.

Speaker 2:
[02:29] Why do we call it a podcast? Because it's live radio.

Speaker 3:
[02:32] Well, I don't know. You have to explain that to me because you're on live radio all the time.

Speaker 2:
[02:37] Yeah, but see, that's what I don't understand is that sometimes they'll call it a podcast, but I'm like, we're doing it live. You can stream it on Sirius and you can then on the app, you can listen to it at any time. By the way, this is not a commercial for Sirius, I swear to God, but you can, if you have the Sirius app, all of these episodes, like Andy's Own Show or John Hill, that you can, Jeff Lewis, you can stream those shows at any time once they air.

Speaker 3:
[03:00] Wait, there is some static on your mic.

Speaker 2:
[03:04] There is?

Speaker 3:
[03:06] Yeah, like when you're talking, it's like...

Speaker 2:
[03:09] Hopefully we got that fixed, but who knows, folks. This is a podcast, not live radio, but we still deal with crap every damn day. Anyways, I highly recommend you go listen to Kaya and the Smith sisters. Now, I guess let's dive in because tonight is a new episode of Summer House. It'll have aired by the time this comes out tomorrow. And I don't want to give anything away, but I will say it further enrages you. I think anybody watching it wouldn't enrage, right?

Speaker 3:
[03:38] Yeah, I wanted to bend all of West's fingers back.

Speaker 2:
[03:42] Well, but I'm just saying it makes it even more devious what they did because they have these kind of heart-to-heart talks with Ciara. Like, the episode starts with Amanda saying, I see you, Ciara, I see you. And I'm like, no, you fucking don't. Like, what are you talking? Like, I would cringe if that was me and that I said that and then did what I did.

Speaker 3:
[04:04] Yeah. And it literally is all she wants. Like, the whole time that she's there, she's talking about how she just wants to be seen. And they used her words basically to gaslight her into thinking that they give a crap and they literally don't. It's crazy.

Speaker 2:
[04:26] How can you see? How can you argue that they give a crap at all? Doing what they did. And like even I make a lot of allowances. I'm like, you know what? Yes. If you want to make this allowance of like, oh, these two people were destined to be together. Well, sorry. Then you have to communicate better with the person that it would actively involve that has shared openly her feelings since the very beginning. Like, so then you're saying if we actually open up about our thoughts and our feelings with somebody and that you have some sort of trust, then it is completely fine to break that trust for your own sexual desires or emotional desires.

Speaker 3:
[04:59] Sexual deviance, I call them. The dick better be good. Like, I'm sorry. I haven't said this at all. But West has to have some good D. For... I'm sorry.

Speaker 2:
[05:11] You know what scares me is that you say good D and then you put it out there and then women are like, even though he's a bad boy, he must have good D. So I'm going to continue to sleep with him. You ladies are going to continue to sleep with this guy. Yes. It's going to stop. It's like Tristan Thompson, I said. People are still cheating with Tristan Thompson, even though it was completely revealed that he was cheating with a bunch of people. Yeah.

Speaker 3:
[05:31] It's actually terrible. I just don't find him attractive enough to even want to try it, though. That's the thing.

Speaker 2:
[05:38] By the way, if you end up sleeping with him, I'm going to be so pissed. I'll be like, and I'll cut this clip.

Speaker 3:
[05:45] I promise you on my life, I will never have sex with Wes Wilson. He makes my skin crawl at this point. He's scary to me because it goes beyond just how bad of a person he is. He's a scumbag. He did this, he did that. But it's like you are surrounded by Black people. You immerse yourself in Black culture.

Speaker 2:
[06:11] Culture, yeah.

Speaker 3:
[06:12] You have a Black woman who you took home to mama. You pride yourself on having multicultural friends. You pride yourself on saying, fuck ice. You pride yourself on being that liberal white boy, but then you get in front of your podcast, your monetized podcast, with your Magga Barbie, and you decide to put out your statement, which was, he started off lying. So it's like you're lying too much for me. Like what they did is actually like scary to me, because I, like I said, with Raven, I was like, you know, when people are like, oh, I wouldn't do this to my worst enemy. Yeah, I would. Like this is shit that I would do to my worst enemy. And that is what scares me.

Speaker 2:
[06:58] That's what I said on Today's Show. I said, I said at the end of the day, the only way I can make sense of it is if they both just extremely hated Ciara.

Speaker 3:
[07:05] Yes, that's what I'm like watching here. So you hate this person.

Speaker 2:
[07:10] Yeah.

Speaker 3:
[07:10] It's like, it's not even just like what they did. Like obviously, what they did was horrible. If they're going to be together, they're going to be together. But it's what they're doing continuously after, not naming her, not apologizing to their friends, not actually like staying in the fucking house, at least until the reunion. That's the part that's literally insane to me, because you did this and you don't care.

Speaker 2:
[07:37] Well, and I will say, it seems like West is not affected by this at all. Like he's acting like, oh, whoa, is me on the podcast, kind of. But at the same time, he's out and about. He's going to more bars. And I mean, like I see him at every bar over the weekend. I see him with that damn Royals hat on. And I'm like, he is out and about. He is not. And if you go on, like TikTok is such a dangerous social media, but I truly love, I don't post a lot of TikToks, but I love being on it. And so many people had run ins with West Wilson over the weekend. And one was with, some girl was smoking a joint outside of a bar. And Amanda, I think, asked for a hit. Cloth head? Yeah. She's bringing weed, giving weed a bad name. And then West Wilson asked to bum a smoke. And she was like, no, no, we're for the girls here. And he was like, what are you talking about? What are you talking about? And she's like, you know what we're talking about. And he seemed befuddled. He seemed, but more people need to call this out in his face. By the way, nobody needs to get into physical altercations or anything like that. But the other thing I wanted to ask you about, he said that Amanda Batula's number was leaked. And I was really confused about this just because I consider myself fairly online. Mainly TikTok and Instagram and threads. I'm not a Reddit person. So I was like, was it leaked on Reddit? I haven't seen it anywhere. The number.

Speaker 3:
[08:56] I just don't believe that because I ran into it.

Speaker 2:
[09:00] Somebody just messaged me saying, left a Spotify comment. I have not heard this until this comment saying that KJ was the one that leaked it, and it's horrible. But there's no way, right? There's no way.

Speaker 4:
[09:16] And even if he did, you know, even if I would give him that pass, that's fine.

Speaker 3:
[09:21] But no, they're just making up for it because Amanda is a terrible person, and they don't want to accept this.

Speaker 2:
[09:28] But as always, oh, yeah, I will say that's the weirdest thing, Kaya. I posted a thing making fun of Amanda Batula for 420 yesterday, and I got a lot of comments of like, I'm for Amanda. Amanda, Amanda, I'm for a...

Speaker 3:
[09:41] That's what I'm trying to tell?

Speaker 2:
[09:43] Like, what, what, what? Guys, I get having fans. I really liked Amanda too, but like, it's okay to be wrong. And what are you standing up for at this point? What are you defending at this point? That's the part that actually enrages me, because I'm like, come on, we can all be on the same page. That even if you liked her, which I did, this was wrong. Why can't we all disagree to that at least?

Speaker 3:
[10:06] I'm so glad that you're learning these lessons in real time, because you were trying to tell me, literally two weeks ago, you're like, oh, but, and West too. And I'm like, bro, I don't need anyone to tell me to give West more hate, because I already hate him. I'm trying, like the way I'm on Amanda's ass is because I expected more of her, and she is a girl, and she is someone who is literally supposed to be best friends with this woman. And also what I have in mind is the public opinion of Amanda, people are a toss up on Amanda, whereas with West, they're like, oh, he's a guy, and all that bullshit. But people are still like, you never know. And then people are like, oh, she just got out of a marriage. She is struggling with her mental health and all this shit. And it's just like, I don't give a fuck at this point. This bitch has a great therapist. She's on the right medicine.

Speaker 2:
[11:08] But by the way, this also point out, she can afford a good therapist. Like she has money for, because sometimes therapists, they come in all shapes and sizes and price points. And sometimes the lower price point ones aren't as-

Speaker 3:
[11:21] The ones you text are like, oh, I'm sorry to hear that.

Speaker 4:
[11:24] They're building their career.

Speaker 2:
[11:28] Whereas Amanda has the money for a good therapist, a good one.

Speaker 3:
[11:33] And she goes to one and she has a good psychiatrist because her meds are amazing. This is not the behavior of someone who is so fucked up about what they did or the public backlash. You would not be seen in public so publicly.

Speaker 2:
[11:51] Bring shaming back. What happened to shame? Like, come on, man. Feel a good dose of shame at least. And I don't know if there's anything of like wearing this with a badge of honor. There should be no pride felt at all. Like, you know, go have your dirty sex indoors.

Speaker 3:
[12:06] Literally, because it's just like you didn't even try to close the windows. Like, what's wrong with you getting it fucking on?

Speaker 2:
[12:15] Well, we still see that's what I still want to know at the reunion. Did they get photos of them getting it on? Was that truly what happened to break this whole story in the beginning to Sierra? Like, we still don't have definite confirmation about that. And I also want to know not that they're going to tell us like the last day I had sex with Sierra, but I do want to know when the last day was he had sex with Sierra. Like, I do want to know that. And we as an audience are so idiotic that you're probably going to see a wave of people blame Sierra going, well, she had a choice not to have sex with him. She could have just not had sex with him. You guys don't, I mean, we all know, I was about to say you guys don't understand, but we all do understand. We just don't take the time to think about it is that when you psychologically feel something for somebody, it makes you do things that like somebody on the outside might not understand. We've all been there. We've all been with somebody that we shouldn't be with or that we get lured in because we feel safe with them or want to feel safe with them, right?

Speaker 3:
[13:10] Well, yeah, it's literally what they talked about. They laid it out there. People are acting like she held him down and she fucked him on her own. No, he is literally telling her, I want to be your friend. I could be your best friend today. I want to be your friend yesterday. I'm not comfortable with not being friends. He is making everything about his comfortability. That is so telling of him, is that he's not worried about what he did wrong. He's worried about one public opinion and two his comfortability, and also trying to make him seem like he wants to just, quote unquote, be friends when he knows that he's flirting with her. He knows that they have that chemistry that's still there. He knows that he didn't want Jessie to kiss her because he just feels like this whole ownership over her. It's just devious, devilish, duplicitous behavior.

Speaker 2:
[14:07] Well, they're the same. Amanda wants all the guys to like her and West wants all the girls to like him. Like they're weirdly the same in that sense.

Speaker 3:
[14:15] A match made in hell.

Speaker 2:
[14:16] Yeah. Which by the way, if Bravo gives them a spinoff, like West and Amanda take America, I'm gonna riot. Or they open a restaurant or something like that. You know, like that would be great. Okay, but I did have, okay, so I was watching Atlanta and I have this thought because we were talking about last week.

Speaker 3:
[14:38] Wait, are we going to Atlanta right now? Cause I just have one last question about Summer House.

Speaker 2:
[14:41] You, no, no, no, we'll stay with, but I do just have this thought about, cause I wanted to get your thought, cause we had mentioned about Portia and how remember like, you know, she stole one of her good friends dudes, right?

Speaker 3:
[14:53] Okay, so technically she claims that Fallon was not her good friend, even though she was introduced on the show by Portia. She said that they only like met twice before that, or like, you know, like they weren't-

Speaker 2:
[15:08] Okay, but what I was getting at with you, I'm like, is this kind of Amanda Batula behavior at Portia?

Speaker 3:
[15:14] This is worse. This is worse than Amanda, I mean, this is worse than Portia. This is worse than fucking Sandoval, because like, even with Sandoval, I was like, yeah, Raquel is Ariana's friend. That's fucked up. But we didn't see them have these crazy, like-

Speaker 2:
[15:32] Conversations.

Speaker 3:
[15:32] Conversations. And we're literally seeing the conversations also mirror about their sex life. Kyle and West are talking about their sex life, and Amanda and Sierra are talking about, you know, their sex life and also her sex life with West. It's like, it's so fucked up that that's why I'm not at the point where it's like, I don't understand what people don't understand. I'm at the point where you guys are purposely ignoring what's funny.

Speaker 2:

[18:16] With new shows three times a week, you'll be up to speed in no time. Listen to The Break Room for free on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 2:
[18:25] Well, that's what I was saying. I said this, I think mentioned today. I said, you know, we compare it to Sandoval because of course, you know, there's only a few things that are like of this nature and Bravo that we can compare it to at this point. But it is interesting because Summer House, it's even more devious to your point because there are deeper conversations being had. Those dum-dums on Vanderpump Rules, they weren't having any deep conversations. Like it was like Tom was like, what's up, what's up, I feel like I'm too old and I want to be like a rock star. There weren't deep conversations. On Summer House, we are having conversations about being seen, about being bullied, about all of these deeper conversations and thoughts. And that's why Andy doesn't listen to this show. But like I implore him to put the work in with the producers and stuff because you have an opportunity to have not only an entertaining reunion, but a reunion full of actually really enlightening conversations. And I know this Summer House cast can do it. Like I know they can have, you know, KJ is ready to have a deeper conversation. Even Kyle Cook's ready to listen and maybe participate and do a bigger conversation.

Speaker 3:
[19:26] Listen, Kyle Cook, I will say, like I never felt bad for him during this entire thing, and I still don't. But they're making me a Kyle Cook sympathizer out of just pure spite.

Speaker 2:
[19:38] And also, because he made out with Meghan King, you felt bad for him.

Speaker 3:
[19:43] I thought that that was just weird because why are you playing her shoulders like a piano? Like that just made me very uncomfortable.

Speaker 2:
[19:49] It was to stabilize his balance.

Speaker 3:
[19:52] How tall is Meghan King Edmund?

Speaker 2:
[19:54] 5'11.

Speaker 3:
[19:56] Oh, that makes sense because Kyle, I sit next to him. I'm 5'9, and he's like one inch shorter than him.

Speaker 2:
[20:01] OK. I've been getting so many pictures of people with Kyle because online, it says Kyle's 5'11, and people are like, that is absolutely not the case. Absolutely not the case.

Speaker 3:
[20:13] Kyle is, in fact, 5'8, and West is 5'9, 5'9.5, on a good day. Basically, who wears shoes can say 5'10. But it's making me think Kyle sympathizes her only because it's like, damn, she really did not give a fuck about her husband. And also, he is the one who's having these harder conversations and trying to listen and learn when, by all means, he should be the one. He's a straight white man with blue eyes, blonde hair, and he's fucking gorgeous. Like Kyle has a face card, like he is literally so-

Speaker 2:
[20:53] She might not sleep with West, everybody, but she's definitely going to sleep with Kyle.

Speaker 3:
[20:58] If he grows an inch in both places. But what I'm saying is that when we have these deep conversations, Kyle not only listens and tries to learn no matter how drunk he is, he also watches the, I don't know, if this is the whole show or just a segment, and he goes back and he posts on social media about it. He's actually trying to, I'm not going to say quote, unquote, do the work, he's not out here.

Speaker 2:
[21:23] Yeah, wait, wait, let's also call it what it is too, is that he's doing that because he's also building his brand. I mean, I think he definitely is understanding and listening, but also part of posting and engaging is building the brand.

Speaker 3:
[21:35] But what's so crazy is that Kyle is doing all these things and then we know West as this, oh, this guy from Missouri, Kansas City or whatever, where the fuck he's from, and he's supposed to be this liberal feminist, that that's how we fell in love with him with, and he's out here moving like a piece of shit, doing these podcasts with these mega people. I'm just like, that's where you wanted to make your first statement at, that's what you wanted to do.

Speaker 2:
[22:06] Sponsored by Arby's.

Speaker 3:
[22:11] And the fact that Dave Portnoy knows so much about you and your life, tells me everything that I need to know. If I ask Dave Portnoy about Kyle, he's like, oh, I don't really know about him, but I can tell you exactly.

Speaker 2:
[22:25] Yeah, exactly. Yeah, if you all of a sudden get in Dave Portnoy's mouth that something has gone wrong in your career. If Rihanna Chicken Fry is talking about you, something has gone drastically wrong.

Speaker 3:
[22:39] It's literally insane. What I wanted to ask you, though, because this is coming out before, and I think they're going to film either today or tomorrow.

Speaker 2:
[22:47] They're filming on Thursday.

Speaker 3:
[22:48] Okay, so they film tomorrow. Tell me, before it drops, what is your seating chart?

Speaker 2:
[22:55] You know, these things are really, like I said, I don't really truly care, but if we're really going to talk about it, I would say, you know, and I don't agree, like I, but I think they're going to do Kyle and Amanda on the each side of Andy, even though I don't feel like that's how it should be. It will be Kyle. Kyle, Amanda on Amanda's side will be Jessie. And then that's hard because I would say then you got to put West up there, but he can't sit next to Kyle. So you've got to put in, who do you put in next to Kyle? Oh, you know what? Shit, I think you got to-

Speaker 3:
[23:34] You're not even thinking about, no one's thinking about Sierra in this whole thing. Why the fuck would Sierra be-

Speaker 2:
[23:38] No, because you got to protect Sierra. So if you put Sierra first chair, you've got to then have her face West. Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Speaker 3:
[23:46] No, it's Sierra-

Speaker 2:
[23:47] We can do Kyle's.

Speaker 3:
[23:48] It should just be Sierra and Amanda. It should be West and Kyle.

Speaker 2:
[23:52] But I don't want to force Sierra to look at Amanda.

Speaker 3:
[23:57] She needs to. No, she will.

Speaker 2:
[23:59] She will direct things at Amanda, I don't want her to have to like inconsequentially look. Oh, but also remember, they don't do the chairs, they do the couches.

Speaker 3:
[24:06] And she already said, like, she doesn't mind sitting by herself. If we can separate seek for Sierra, I would absolutely love that. Or even, like, you know, back in the day, like, was that in New Jersey or some shit like that? They had, like, a separate chair.

Speaker 2:
[24:22] Yeah, yes. Well, then remember that one Real Housewives of Dallas when they were sick and, like, three of them were on TV screens, big TV screens that they had to, like, do last minute? You know what they should do? They should have, like, one separate couch that they make up to look like New York Yankees Stadium seats and put West and Amanda together in them.

Speaker 4:
[24:42] And put, like, a camera on them.

Speaker 2:
[24:45] Yeah, put a camera on them. You know, I don't know. That's really...

Speaker 3:
[24:49] You have to decide this now. I don't need the... Like, it's down to the wire.

Speaker 2:
[24:55] Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 3:
[24:55] You know what?

Speaker 2:
[24:57] Okay, then, you know what, I'm going to go, yeah, you're right. Sierra, Amanda, and then on Sierra's side, you got to put Kyle, and then you got to put West next to Amanda, which actually would actually be really cool because then you'll kind of even... Just in that male bullshit ego thing, even though Kyle is pretty okay with things, I think, more than anybody gives him credit for, it will eat at him having to stare at them together, talking about their relationship for a long period of time. And then you... Oh, then I would say you got to put Lindsay next to Kyle, and you put Jessie next to West, and then you got to put Carl next to G. Oh God, you got... Oh, wow, this is great. You put Carl... Okay, but see...

Speaker 3:
[25:44] Are we doing double rows? Because then Mia could be directly behind Sierra.

Speaker 2:
[25:48] Oh, that's great. Mia, double rows.

Speaker 3:
[25:50] I feel like that would be great.

Speaker 2:
[25:51] That's really great. And then you got to put Ben behind Amanda on the double rows.

Speaker 3:
[25:56] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[25:58] Because he's like, I didn't fuck my mate's missus. I didn't do it.

Speaker 3:
[26:00] Me mate.

Speaker 2:
[26:01] Yeah, me mate's missus. But then you have KJ too. Oh, KJ next to Mia.

Speaker 3:
[26:09] KJ next to Mia, absolutely.

Speaker 2:
[26:11] Okay, KJ next to Mia. Then we have Bailey and Levi. It'll be Levi's first time filming with the cast, so this will be fun for her. And who else? Is there anybody else that we're leaving?

Speaker 3:
[26:24] We gotta bring out Sabrina and Dara since we're here.

Speaker 2:
[26:26] Oh, Sabrina. Sabrina will have camped out on stage a week before. She's probably already there.

Speaker 3:
[26:31] Listen, Sabrina's activated and-

Speaker 2:
[26:32] By the way, it's not Dara, it's Dara. I've been corrected on this many times. It's Dara. Dara. Dara's been like leaving some flippin comments about like kind of reality TVA and all that, which I kind of love. I think I kind of love Dara and I like, but Dara's gonna be great because she will be able to get the perspective as somebody that fucked West and he bailed on.

Speaker 3:
[26:53] Ooh, that is a good point. I really want to hear it from someone and I would, oh no, that would be disrespectful. I was gonna be like, how's it dick?

Speaker 2:
[27:02] Because it would be the ghost of Christmas future for Amanda because he's eventually gonna do the same thing to Amanda.

Speaker 3:
[27:08] Oh, worse. It's gonna, whatever he does, it's gonna be 10 times worse. Like it's going to be insane. I don't know how far they're gonna get in their relationship or situationship, but I was watching Euphoria and Maddie and Cassie was-

Speaker 2:
[27:23] I didn't get to watch the second episode yet.

Speaker 3:
[27:25] Oh, I won't tell you, but Maddie and Cassie are back and it's literally like a mirror of watching what could happen with Sierra and Amanda down the line. And of course, Amanda is, titties is titties. Titties McGee is Amanda and-

Speaker 2:
[27:42] Titties McGee.

Speaker 3:
[27:44] I always call Titties McGee.

Speaker 2:
[27:47] I called Alex Hall from Real Housewives, no, from Selling the OC. Did you ever watch Selling the OC?

Speaker 3:
[27:52] Yeah, she's a Titties McGee too.

Speaker 2:
[27:54] I used to call her Titties McGee on the Patreon. Oh, hi. I shouldn't reveal that here. Sorry, you guys. It was behind the paywall. Patreon talk. Patreon. The other thing is I was thinking about Meredith Marks in regards to Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, one episode this season where she was like, if you want to drug test me, fine, do it, do it. Then they never drug tested her. I'm like, what if we drug tested the cast right now? I'm not looking for weed. Weed is acceptable. Everybody smoke weed. But let's do a surprise drug test at the beginning of the reunion, and Andy can make everybody do it right at the start, and then by the third episode of the reunion, we get the results.

Speaker 3:
[28:31] Why are we drug testing people?

Speaker 2:
[28:34] I just think that there are people might be on substances, some people in the past. No, but I think it would be great to just have some proof so there's not speculation.

Speaker 3:
[28:44] Who is on ketamine? Because we're normalizing ketamine, white people are now normalizing ketamine.

Speaker 2:
[28:50] You know what? I feel like this is where I really show my age because I came up in a time where it was like Molly and Ecstasy, and maybe Coke, but-

Speaker 3:
[29:03] I think it's always Coke with them.

Speaker 2:
[29:04] But ketamine, I've never been around ketamine. I mean, obviously I know what it is, it's never-

Speaker 3:
[29:10] They're normalizing it. It's just- I'm not- whatever works for you, works for you whether it's in a controlled environment or not. But I hate when people are talking about secret lives of Mormon wives.

Speaker 2:
[29:23] And the ketamine therapy?

Speaker 3:
[29:25] And they're- no, but people are like, oh, they act like this and they aren't even on drugs, bitch. They're on horse pills, like they're on ketamine. What are you talking about?

Speaker 2:
[29:34] You guys, on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, there's literally scenes with them in therapy doing ketamine.

Speaker 3:
[29:38] It's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Speaker 2:
[29:40] And I'm like, this is why that show works, is because it's so insane. And all of those women are dealing with such deep trauma that they don't even realize how deep of trauma they have. And it's coming literally out in police reports now, with like Taylor, Frankie, Paul and all of that stuff, where I'm like, it's fascinating because everybody has lived the darkest of existence and they're not truly aware of how dark it was for them because it was just their normal.

Speaker 3:
[30:07] No, they're like, oh yeah, no, we can't drink, but the Bible doesn't say anything about ketamine. And then they'll be like, oh, we go and get Botox. And I didn't know this about Botox. You can get laughing gas for Botox. And they're like, oh, when we go to Botox, we definitely get more laughing gas. Bitch, are you Kanye? Like, what are you talking about? You guys are doing ketamine and laughing gas, but you can't have an alcoholic beverage. You can't smoke weed. You can't drink coffee. Like, what's going on?

Speaker 2:
[30:40] I also have to reread the Bible because like, Jesus was like a big wine guy. You know, like he was like a big wine guy. But at the same time, they're all into like swig and like these dirty sodas and really trying to be, you know, and also like certain sex of like, especially the Mormon religion, caffeine is a no-no. And, you know, I was just trying to find the passage of the don't. And by the way, don't send me the passage of the Bible where God is talking about how bad caffeine is. But I always find it interesting of like, they'll go out of their way to do all of these things. But then they'll do such deeply traumatic things to each other and each other's bodies. And like without, I mean, that's the dark part where I'm like, well, I think Jesus actually and God did say something about that.

Speaker 3:
[31:17] She just did not want you to leave your husband to fuck Marciano. I know that he didn't want that.

Speaker 2:
[31:24] Are you watching Vanderpump Valley? I mean, Vanderpump Villa?

Speaker 3:
[31:28] No, because Thoughtsy is on there.

Speaker 2:
[31:31] Yeah. Well, it's an interesting thing.

Speaker 3:
[31:34] Tell me about the, did you see the Dad Talk episode? I just saw this.

Speaker 2:
[31:38] No, I haven't even started it yet. But it is one of those interesting things where I feel like they've tried to make this show happen now for a couple of seasons. And no offense to the show. I think they've improved it each season that it's been on. I have not started this one. But it is weird how it's never fully taken off, even though I believe they've given it a lot of promotion and they've even given it a lot of cross promotion through Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. And it doesn't seem like it's fully ever taken off.

Speaker 3:
[32:03] They even put in Statsy, which they thought was going to really help it. So you get all of this promotion, all of this money, and you're also on Hulu. And you get so much and you're still not happening. Just stop.

Speaker 2:
[32:18] Well, that's what I'm curious, is how committed Hulu is to this and Lisa Vanderpump. And because I think Lisa Vanderpump was unhappy with Bravo and said that she was gonna give the Vanderpump Rules reboot another shot. But I had heard that she had kind of made up her mind that Hulu was gonna be her new home. I could be wrong about that. So it'll be interesting, because they had said there was a TMZ leak months ago saying Vanderpump Rules got picked up for a second season of the reboot. And I had reached out and I had talked to a producer of that show. And I said, congratulations. And they said, that actually isn't true.

Speaker 5:
[32:54] Oh, it's not?

Speaker 2:
[32:56] Well, they said, we think it's going to be. We think it looks good. But that is not true. That TMZ thing is not true. And this person would definitely tell me if it was true or not. So I thought that was interesting. So I don't know who I was like, did Lisa leak this to TMZ just to force Bravo's hand?

Speaker 3:
[33:12] To get it talking? That's the best way to get it popping and to see if people, testing the waters, do people want this back? Would you want a second season of?

Speaker 2:
[33:23] Yeah, I think you and yes, I do actually because I think you laid the foundation, now give it a second season to see if it really pops. I think you have to, I think that's what you invest in. And I think I would argue right now, Bravo is in such a good place with Ladies of London and Real Housewives of Rhode Island. You have two shows.

Speaker 3:
[33:42] Rhode Island, oh my God.

Speaker 2:
[33:44] Rhode Island is so damn good. Like if you watch on Sunday nights, Atlanta and Rhode Island back to back, that is like a power two hours. It is a night of comedy. It is a night of, if you want to laugh, first off, Real Housewives of Atlanta might be the funniest show on television right now. Real Housewives of Rhode Island is right up there with the comedy, but then there's also this dark through line that you're already used to with Atlanta, I think, but it's great to actually have new people to be scared about, you know?

Speaker 3:
[34:14] It's also the most oversharingest cast that I've ever met.

Speaker 2:
[34:20] Oh my god. And they keep revealing little secrets of like, I'm like, wait, Joellen's sister? I think Joellen's sister is eventually going to fuck that husband.

Speaker 3:
[34:28] Exactly. And I want to be there for it.

Speaker 4:
[34:30] That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:
[34:32] We're in on the bottom floor, you guys. We're on the ground floor. It's like investing in Netflix 30 years ago. We're investing in Netflix right now. This shit's going to pop off and it's going to keep going because they keep revealing things and they're like, oh, that's nothing. Welcome to Rhode Island, bitch.

Speaker 3:
[34:47] Yes, this is how we do it. I'm just like, oh shit.

Speaker 2:
[34:50] By the way, and I don't like, listen, Rebecca and I are the strongest that we've ever been in our relationship. But I will say, I've got a little bit of a crush on Alicia. I've got a little bit of a crush.

Speaker 3:
[35:02] Is it because she, is it her assertiveness?

Speaker 2:
[35:07] It's just her, no, it's her wackiness. Like her saying, her saying Jane's Fondes, I love Jane's Fondes workout tape. And then I was watching clips of her on like, watch what happens live backstage where she was like, I packed my snack bag, I got my saltines and I got three fig Newtons. You always just got to get the figs. You get the figs and then you, and she's not saying-

Speaker 7:
[35:27] A little bit of fruit.

Speaker 2:
[35:28] Yeah, but she's not saying it to like try to be funny. She's saying it because this is how she feels. And then somebody in an interview, I think it was Page Six, asked her about her doll collection that was featured last week's episode. And they were asking, do you have names for all of them? And she's like, no, no, you know, they're my daughters, but I just appreciate them more. And she had a favorite one. And I just, for some reason, that kind of, and then what I was so shocked about is when she popped off at the end of this week's episode.

Speaker 8:
[35:58] If you have nothing nice to say, you can sit with us. I'm Suzanne Lambert, comedian, mean girl, and internet menace, and this is the Mean But True Podcast. [37:26] Hey, I'm Ike Barinholtz. On my new show Funny You Ask, trivia starts the conversation and then things immediately go off the rails. I ask a question, my guests think they know the answer. Sometimes they do, more often they do not. And then the conversation takes a turn. One trivia question turns into stories about career highs, painful bombs and behind the scenes moments that probably should have remained private. You'll hear confidence, misplaced confidence, bold guesses, wrong answers, quick laughs and the slow realization that maybe this was a bad idea to say out loud. If you like smart comedy, sharp conversations and trivia that exists purely to melt people's brains, this is Funny You Ask with me, Ike Barinholtz. Follow Funny You Ask with Ike Barinholtz on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Speaker 2:
[38:17] I did not see that coming. I didn't know she had that side in her yet. Now I'm like, she's the most well-rounded housewife. She's funny, she can be insane. She's got issues with her fiancee who she has to ask for money. She taught me about pizza chips. I never knew there was a thing called pizza chips. I just thought that was like bland pizza when you didn't put the cheese on it.

Speaker 3:
[38:47] It was insane. This whole episode was just so good. Just building on top of things that are already like crazy. Then they go and watch what happens live and they had to explain something that they said and it's like, Oh, so what happened to the woman that you ran over? She's like, Oh, no, it was good. Well, she did go through the windshield. I'm like, What are we talking about? Are you supposed to say this? Is she alive? She's like, Yo, the woman is okay. I'm like, If anyone knows this woman, if you're in a better place, reach out to me.

Speaker 2:
[39:21] Are you okay? By the way, that woman that Alicia ran over or the smashing of her windshield, eventually that's going to be like Miami Girl on Vanderpump Rules. You're going to meet her in the fourth season of Rhode Island. She's going to come and she's going to be in a wheelchair with a neck brace, and she'll be like, I've never recovered from Alicia, and now I'm here to collect. Get that check, bitch.

Speaker 3:
[39:42] You've got to get that.

Speaker 2:
[39:43] I guess we'll start with Rhode Island, and since we're talking about it and just go some overall thoughts. Obviously, this is just a fantastic reality TV show, and you know who I'm actually liking more, because I did not like her when she was introduced, is Rue La La. Rue La La is starting to grow on me. She's not my favorite, she's my least favorite, but I thought I was passionately disliking her, and now you're starting to be like, Okay. But it's obvious, and next week's episode in the preview, we see that her dude is obviously actively cheating on her, and she's doing it actively.

Speaker 3:
[40:20] I see exactly the plan that she has here. It's like the Bronwyn thing. She's bringing her husband on TV because she wants to divorce, and she's securing her storyline, and she's acting like she's going to stay and all this shit. But then in real life, you're seeing all these articles about the mistress literally taking pictures in the house, and then the guy is just suing her for violating the NDA, and I'm just like, oh, okay. So you had something for that ass all along. You are not a weak bitch. And I love, who was that? Was that Alicia's family that they were with, or was that Liz's family? Like the mom and the aunt?

Speaker 2:
[40:59] Alicia's, Alicia's family.

Speaker 3:
[41:00] Okay, so it's just mom and aunt. They were like, I hope you hurt him. And I'm like, these are my women.

Speaker 2:
[41:06] Yeah. By the way, Alicia's family, there's something in the cast of even side characters. That's what I'm saying. They have their own language, because of course they do. They're family. And that's what I love watching are people that are talking in their own language. And we just get to watch. Yeah. If you understand it, great. And by the way, Atlanta's a little bit like that too, is that they have their own language in which they speak. And you might, by the way, Kay Michelle is obsessed with saying hot pocket on this week's episode. That is her thing. That is obviously her thing. And she needs a hot pocket for her leaking ass. But anyways, they say this, I don't know, I just love it. And it's just everything that I love about reality television when you feel like you're an interloper on something that would be happening even if this television show wasn't happening. We ended last week's episode just to remind you where Liz had her little party with her husband and it just went off the rails. And she ended up like screaming, F you to Kelsey, F you, F you, the sugar baby. And then we kind of found out that Kelsey potentially had had a relationship with Dino. And Dino was the one that everybody was saying Liz was having some or had some sort of affair with. And it's, you know, she keeps saying, it's not true, it's not true. It's just that me and my husband are best friends with Dino. And when my husband was sports fishing for three weeks out of the month, he was supposed to watch over me and we would go to nightclubs together. And she says it like it should all make sense, but everything she says makes it go, oh, that's an actual relationship. You're out at nightclubs, you're out at... And wait, do you have that speculation too, even though we see her cleaning out the boat, where I'm like, was he sports fishing or did he have a whole nother family on the side?

Speaker 3:
[42:44] I, yeah, no, it gave... He was definitely fucking on that boat. Like, I don't know if you guys remember the Hunting Wives, which I can recite line by line when the mom was supposed to be showing... Like the church mom was supposed to be showing the black girl her boat and she was like, look, I got to show you the inside of the boat and her son had already his girlfriend in there. I'm like, this is literally what's happening here. Like, this man was sailing around the world, just dropping loads for three weeks at a time. And now they know that they're filming and his ego doesn't want him to have Dino be the one who was railing his wife.

Speaker 2:
[43:25] So he's like, let's sell the boat. We're going to sell the boat. I decided to pack it in. I don't like my hobby anymore. By the way, it's like if I all of a sudden decided to stop talking about Bravo, my hobby.

Speaker 5:
[43:36] You're like, wait, what's going on?

Speaker 2:
[43:38] Something's wrong. Yeah, something's wrong. So yeah, so the Kelsey thing was new information that was dropped at the end of that. So the beginning of this episode, Dolores comes over and helps Liz sage the house because of this fight. Completely, you know, just whatever. You know, Liz is kind of feeling weird for how she reacted, but she also was very drunk. And then like Rose, Alicia, Ashley I, they're at their favorite beach, which is just like kind of just a dirty beach that they can put lawn chairs up on. How do you think Ashley I is doing so far?

Speaker 3:
[44:14] I don't hate her as much as the Internet does. I think that she is not great and she doesn't really bring much. But we always need someone who's kind of a little bit boring because later on they do something crazily interesting, or we find out something dark about them. And I want to know what that is.

Speaker 2:
[44:35] Yeah. I mean, I will say Ashley I is like a good, like you need somebody that is completely new to the group, which she is. So you get that kind of, it's not needed, but I think they kind of, it was an insurance policy, she was already known, but also an insurance policy that even if this didn't work, you would be able to see a new person watch an old friend group, which sometimes can be a storyline.

Speaker 3:
[44:59] Yeah. I also just wanted to know, like how is your life after the Bachelor franchise? Because we don't really get that. Like they made it all the way through to the point where they're married and they have kids and she's a little bit boring and I'm tired of her crying, but it's whatever, she's not too bad. I just don't like that she was eating out the garbage.

Speaker 2:
[45:24] Oh yeah, she was talking about she would like, she ate leftover McDonald's in the garbage, she ate that, which by the way, sorry you didn't like that. I thought it was very cool.

Speaker 3:
[45:33] Well, I mean, hey.

Speaker 2:
[45:35] Yeah. I mean, like listen, that's McDonald's, come on, you're just going to let that go to waste.

Speaker 3:
[45:40] Okay. So speaking of McDonald's everyone, please, I'm so glad you said the buzzword. If you guys are able to, please get the K-pop Demon Hunters Adult Happy Meal. There's going to be a special event, I think, in May. When you get the collectible trading card, it's going to be super dope and all the K-pop Demon Hunter fans rise. What the meal is, it's chicken nuggets with hunter sauce and demon sauce. Don't get the demon sauce, rebuke it in the name of the Lord and be saved. But they also give you ramyun, which is like ramen seasoning to put on your fries. So no one paid me to say this. I just love K-pop Demon Hunters.

Speaker 2:
[46:24] It feels like somebody paid you to say this. I mean, it felt like a commercial.

Speaker 4:
[46:28] I wish McDonald's would sponsor me.

Speaker 2:
[46:31] By the way, that's like the new advertising is we find ways to like dip into just normal conversations. And they're, you know what? You know what I love about McDonald's?

Speaker 3:
[46:39] And I'm like that's serious too. That's the thing. Just like with Gatorade. I always have, I have a thing with Gatorade. And they just rolled out a new line of Gatorade with 75% less sugar. So I'm like, oh, now I can have three of these instead of one.

Speaker 2:
[46:55] Oh yeah. When I was training for a marathon a lifetime ago, it was a long time ago, they would have the Gatorade zeros. And that was like my favorite after a long run. It was just like, oh, it was like nectar of the gods.

Speaker 3:
[47:08] God.

Speaker 2:
[47:10] Anyways, they're on the beach, these ladies, and they're talking. This is when we found out about the pizza chips that Alicia's family, her grandpa kind of invented. It's Superior Bakery, and now they do it at Pizza Mama. It's red sauce, no cheese, it's lighter. People bring it to the beach, she says. I love pizza chips, Alicia says. And we find out that they're going to go do this rail explorer thing later in the episode. And we're talking about RHOA. And this is why I got to say I love Alicia again. Alicia's like, well, I got to tell you, RHOA met Brian, who that's her husband now, RHOA met Brian while he was married to my Spanish teacher. I'm like, what? How small of a town is this?

Speaker 3:
[47:51] Yeah, it's crazy. Just dropping RHOA along as we go. And that's what I really love about that and about who got fired because they were hooking up with one of the higher ups. She was like, oh, I got-

Speaker 2:
[48:05] Joe Ellen, Joe Ellen. No, no, no, sorry, not Joe Ellen, Rosie, Rosie. Because Rosie says she got colitis at her job and she had to take time off. And then she took time off and the colitis cleared up all of a sudden and she never went back to work. And then I think maybe it's Alicia cuts in or something in a talking head. It's like she actually hooked up with one of her higher ups and got let go. And I was like, what? So that's insane.

Speaker 3:
[48:30] They just dropped for all along this freaking show and I love it so much.

Speaker 2:
[48:37] But yeah, Rula potentially cheated with Brian while Brian was married to Alicia's Spanish teacher. They all agree that Brian is not a hot man at all, which is hysterical. And Kelsey then talks about the moment from last week's episode about Dino. You know, like what the hell was going on with Dino? And she said years ago, many years ago, she did actually have a relationship with Dino when her sugar baby relationship wasn't as serious. And, you know, this guy put her through hell. And he would make sure like, you know, he didn't want her going to clubs or talking to other guys. And he would just show up to places that she was at. And it just it seems like potential West Wilson behavior. Who knows? But yeah, like, so this girl hooked. And this Dino guy doesn't seem like much either.

Speaker 3:
[49:25] He's not hot at all. I was actually I was shocked because they hinted towards it last episode. But I'm just like, what's up with Dino?

Speaker 2:
[49:36] Yeah, I just the by the way, if you're not a lot of straight dudes listen to the show, but if you're a straight dude and you're ugly, move to Rhode Island, you got a really good shot. Good shot in Rhode Island.

Speaker 3:
[49:48] Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:
[49:49] But anyways, they're talking about this, which is just more lore. So they're just dropping things like all out of the gate. Then the other crazy thing about this episode, they're over at Joellen's house and she has to go to a conference for her work and so her sister Jen is helping out with the kids. Jen comes over. Jen's a good-looking gal and she's cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry and you can tell Joellen's husband Gary, who knew, by the way, even Joellen admits that Gary probably touched her sister's boobs when they were in high school, but also Joellen says, oh yeah, Jen loves Gary. Jen would love somebody like Gary. She's never been married. She would love kids and you're sitting there watching all of these hot people in a makeshift steam room, all naked and you're like, oh my God, he's going to sleep with the sister eventually.

Speaker 3:
[50:38] And she's talking about how she needs a sperm, by the way.

Speaker 2:
[50:41] Yeah, and they're joking about it. What if Gary gave me a sperm? What if Gary gave me a sperm? And I'm like, oh, I literally wrote in capitals. I'm like, rumors are going to start immediately. I mean, I hope they save it for next season, but I feel like we could eat. This could even be part of the first season.

Speaker 3:
[50:56] Yeah, like I think something's going on.

Speaker 2:
[51:00] Yeah, so that happens. Like what were the other big moments of this episode? Because eventually we get to the rail explorers where they're all doing this, like, I don't know, this little train track bicycle thing. And Ruella is there, but she's happy because Joellen is not there because Joellen and Ruella are at odds. And then they wind up at a place where they sit down and start yelling at each other.

Speaker 3:
[51:23] Oh, that was the show, honestly. And we just get to see Alicia kind of like blow up. And I'm like, oh, I thought it was Liz. But then we also get like these real moments from Liz where she's like, I'm kind of like scared to open up to people because I'm scared to lose them. And I'm like, I feel the same exact way. And I'm like looking at her, I'm like, well, then that shouldn't make you want to not be friends with people or not, you know, open up to people. You shouldn't close yourself off to that. But it's just like, wow, I'm looking at her like a hard ass.

Speaker 2:
[52:03] I have a question for you about that, that way about what you just said that you agree with, you know, Liz and how she is in life and people. Do you think that sometimes doing what we do or being as online as we are, do you think that has almost sped up our feelings and how we react to people because we are so much more throwing ourselves into human behavior and watching human behavior and the most intense human behavior that it seeps over into our own lives and either makes us messes and hot messes ourselves, or it completely makes us not want to really get out there and touch grass?

Speaker 3:
[52:42] Yeah, I'm completely all in it. I don't think that it controls how I think or my personality at all, but it would be remiss. You spend all these hours watching different personalities and absorbing that. Even sometimes, if you are just online with them, interviewing with them, where I'm talking with, everyone's like, oh, I have this parasocial relationship with you, no. I'm telling people in my inbox, I'm like, hey, you want to see that my boob is leaking right now? I can see a picture right now. I have real relationships.

Speaker 2:
[53:16] Well, that sounds like me the first year of doing this podcast.

Speaker 3:
[53:20] Yeah, parasocial at all. I feel like I know people that I don't. I've seen people's kids grow up, I care about them. It's just like, well, damn, damn, when it's put like that, it's out there and I really felt that. But yeah, I think to say that you're not affected by this is you try to deny it just to sound cool. Not you, but if you say that you do this, any podcaster, any consecrator, or even someone who just watches a lot of TV in general. Because I know people who literally, like I know men right now, they watched American Psycho once and that's their entire personality. If you can literally get an entire personality from one movie, for your generation is American Psycho, for my generation is local Wall Street. If you get your entire personality from one movie, imagine what watching hours and hours of people's real life can do to you, good or bad, because you learn how you should communicate, you learn how you shouldn't communicate. It just depends on who you are. Because you can also, if you are not saying that I'm a sociopathic person. But if you watch people and you see what they did wrong, you can learn in your life how to manipulate people and use it to your well-being.

Speaker 2:
[54:49] Well, I don't think of manipulation as a good thing.

Speaker 3:
[54:52] It's not a good thing. I'm just saying that it can be good or bad.

Speaker 2:
[54:56] You can use it for evil. Well, it is interesting though, but just in terms of patterns of behavior even away from reality television shows, I've been in some bad relationships or where I thought a way of communication was the right way, but you don't realize it's completely the wrong way until you're outside of that relationship for a couple of years. Currently, I'm in a relationship that took me a while to even be able. You're like, wait, it can be this easy? It can be that, wait, this is how you actually communicate? I don't have to be scared all the time or I don't have to be this. It is interesting because then you feel like an idiot because sometimes you're like, why did it take me this long to learn? Or why did it take me this? And some other people, they just don't understand that because they're like, that's not me, that's not my emotional makeup. But you're like, right, we're all different. But it is interesting of how you can be in, is that like, your earlier experiences really do color the rest of your life. And that's why even to take it back to Sierra, you're like, even if you don't like Sierra, which is ridiculous at this point, you have to accept that these things will psychologically leave a mark. Is that these things, because you're dealing with real human emotions, and that's why I think it also is so fascinating for us to talk about it, and why you probably, you guys listening or watching, hearing so many of your favorite podcasters talk about it, because you realize the gravity. Because you're like, oh, it's just a silly show. No, it's more than a, you know, a silly show is like, you know, aspects of Rhode Island right now. Because we're not, like, if this was like fifth season of Rhode Island, and we were deeply in love with these characters, and something really popped off, or Liz mentioned that, we would really be, you know, there'd be a whole hour dedicated to it. Yeah. So I do think, you know, this is what's exciting about reality television when it can be a mirror, and it also makes you think about your own life. And, you know, and we're taking stock of your own life, as it were. Anyways, sorry to move on, Real Housewives of Rhode Island. Alicia, this is where she just said one of my favorite lines in terms of the railroad. She's like, I never done this railroad thing, but I like to do Jane's Fondas. I love her so much. I work out with her on the YouTubes. I love Jane Fondas, Jane's Fondas so much. I work it out with the YouTube. So that was great. Anyway, they all get around. They're talking about the...

Speaker 3:
[57:15] She does it once a week. I know it might have been earlier in the episode, just putting that out there. It's just the whole notion of what I had mentioned two weeks ago. The, I don't know, one of the husbands came in. He's like, we got all this food, but none of you is eat.

Speaker 2:
[57:32] Yeah. It's like none of you is eat.

Speaker 3:
[57:33] Everyone is going to love them big.

Speaker 2:
[57:35] Yeah. Well, I mean, they lay out a feast at that lunch. I mean, it was every Italian bread. There was so much bread laid out. It was like a dream meal that I would have just hated myself after and then just gorged myself until I wanted to die. Then he's like, yeah, I can't be around this stuff. I'm like, I love the people that have access to all the good food. They don't want to be around it, which is potentially very smart. This all leads, like we said, to this very last scene where everything pops off, where Alicia gets really pissed at Rosie. Because Rosie says something innocuous, but Alicia takes it as... So basically, Alicia said in the beginning scene that Liz, she can be a little this way, she can be a little that way. It was a completely innocuous comment. But in the final scene, Rosie is talking to Liz going, yeah, it's like I think this and Alicia thinks this. Really to me, it wasn't that big of a deal what Rosie was saying. Alicia was like, don't you fucking talk for me. I see what you're doing with the snitch. I know who you are now with your snake, with your venom eyes. I can see it. I can see it clear as day. You thirsty bitch. You thirsty whore. Yeah, yeah, you did. You did. Because Rosie's like, I didn't do anything. Yeah, you did. You did. Welcome to Rhode Island, bitch. This is how we roll. She fucked me. She fucked me good. I'm not into you, you thirsty bitch. You thirsty whore. You thirsty whore. And Alicia walks off with Liz. And Rosie says, I'm so starstruck by it. I think she just meant to say I'm so struck. She's like, I'm so starstruck by it. And I'm like, I don't think you mean that. And Alicia's over there bitching to Liz. You just tried to do something you shouldn't have done. You just showed me your cards. Thank you. How she twisted things. You little troll. You little troll with your snake eyes. I see your snake eyes right now. You little troll. Oh, I didn't like the way you looked. Your eyes look. You sneaky, you sneaky little troll. And Rosie goes, maybe it's because I'm near the smoke, because they're near a campfire. And she's like, no, no, no. It's not the smoke, you little troll. I know exactly what you did. What? You know, I won't regret it. I won't regret not being friends with you. I promise. I promise. And even Liz at this point, who was against Liz's, Liz is like, no, no, no. You're going to regret this later.

Speaker 3:
[59:55] Take her away. She's like, I was just doing this last week, Ma.

Speaker 2:
[59:59] Yeah, you're going to. Yeah, Ma, you don't get it, Ma.

Speaker 4:
[60:02] But Liz is like, yes, Ma.

Speaker 2:
[60:03] I regret my party and how I behaved towards Kelsey. And Alicia's like, I won't regret it. I promise you, I won't regret it. No, no, no, no. I was loyal to her. I was loyal to Rosie. And Kelsey's like, this is the first time I've ever seen Alicia flip out. And, you know, Rosie's like, you know, this is all, what are you, what is happening here? And Alicia's like, well, I would rather you say you sorry. I would rather you say you sorry, Rosie. Anyways, Rosie does actually say, this is what's so great about Alicia. Rosie does say, and Alicia's like, okay, okay. Yeah, no, no, no. I don't want to stay mad. No, it's poison. It's poison. I don't want to stay mad. Come on. And then in Talking Head, she goes, I'm a sensitive gangster. Sometimes I have a temper. I forgive easy. All you do is say you're sorry. If I had my peppermint oil here, I probably would have been more calm because the smell of peppermint oil calms me down. And then she goes, I'm like Mary Katherine Gallagher when she smells her pits. And then she does from Saturday Night Live, the legendary Mary Katherine Gallagher.

Speaker 1:
[61:06] Yeah, she's talking about this.

Speaker 2:
[61:08] You've never seen Superstar?

Speaker 3:
[61:10] No.

Speaker 2:
[61:11] It's before your time. Oh my God, are you kidding me? Molly Shannon, the genius actor Molly Shannon used to be on SNL and she did this character, Mary Katherine Gallagher, which was like a Catholic school girl that would get nervous and she would stick her fingers in her armpits and smell them.

Speaker 3:
[61:24] I have to watch, like, now.

Speaker 2:
[61:26] Oh my God.

Speaker 3:
[61:27] Make it even better because this whole monologue, please, when I die, perform it at my funeral.

Speaker 2:
[61:34] Well, it is, guys, when she pit, I'm a sensitive gangster, I literally go, Oh my God, a star is born. I was already loving her because she did the Barbie, the Jane Fondest. But when she said, I'm a sensitive gangster, I was like, Oh my. And by the way, you guys, from another person, you'd be like, Oh God, she's just trying to be a reality star. No, I really think, I really think she's a sensitive gangster. Like that's it's true to her. She's a sensitive gangster. And she then does a Mary Katherine Gallagher imitation. And she smells her fingers after her armpits. And she's like, No, I could never. That's terrible. It's terrible. No, I could never do it. I could never do it. And then they end up Rosie and Alicia hugging it out. And it's just, it's crazy. And then next week, you guys, Rosie gets in trouble for not tagging somebody in an Instagram post. And then we find out Rula's husband is cheating again with the mistress. And they confront Rula's husband on the episode.

Speaker 3:
[62:31] It's so, everything is moving at an amazing pace. It's like just enough to keep me wondering what's going to happen next week. But at the same time, I'm busy trying to figure out what's going on this week. And I feel like all of their accents are like different fonts of like Joe Pesci.

Speaker 2:
[62:50] Oh, yeah, exactly. You know, but they all have unique accents. But you're right, they're all derivation of Joe Pesci. And you're right, I'm just so scared they're going to burn out. Like, oh my God, you guys are burning so bright right now. But I think I said on the podcast of somebody this week, I was DMing with somebody that works at Bravo. And I said how good Rhode Island is. And this person said, the whole season is like that. It never gets bad. It never gets bad.

Speaker 3:
[63:20] I think that it's that same situation where we were in with Salt Lake City, where we were like, oh, these people can't top themselves. Oh, this is just the first season, or this is just the first couple of episodes. And then they went season after season after season, banger after banger after banger. And I don't want to call it this early, but I'm just saying I think that we're in for so much because we have, first of all, we have so many people on the cast. And then now we're in-

Speaker 2:
[63:50] And they're all good.

Speaker 3:
[63:51] And yeah, they're all good. And then we're interested in family members. We're interested in the husbands. We're interested in just side members that we have so much meat there that if it's swaying one way and the audience isn't feeling this way, we can go another way with a different storyline. There's so many things to unpack. And that was also what I was saying about Summer House, that it sucks that this season has now become about just watching the little cruiser with Amanda and West because we're seeing so much with Mia. We're seeing so much with KJ. We're seeing so, like, even just Amanda and Kyle's marriage. We're like, there's just so much there that we just have to focus on this one thing. And it's like, we're missing so much that I would love to just talk about, but then they keep putting out statements or going out or talking and it's all this bullshit. But anyways, back to what I was saying. I don't think that they're gonna be burning their flame too fast. I think that they can stick to this pace for as long as they want because there's so much going on and they're all so good.

Speaker 2:
[64:54] You could do a solo episode with Alicia and her family. You could also do just one, like, you know, that episode of Salt Lake that I loved so much last season when they were, it was like just one lunch luncheon, remember? It was like the lunch with the psychic and it was all one location and it was the full hour. And I was like, you could do like that with the Rhode Island girls. Like, you could just do an hour long picnic, like, just like a conversation, like with them just talking about their little, like what they like and they dislike, it doesn't even just talk about experiences. And that's why I know when I love a show and I'm like, I'm starting to be fascinated about each one of the characters. And so I think that's great. First season. Now, if you go to Atlanta, we're in the 17th season of Atlanta once again, just to remind everybody. And this one is called Rum, Ruptures and Redemption. So that's a great title because at the end of last week's episode, my favorite moment was when K. Michelle was honoring a musical artist at the Country Music Association. And she got up from a couch and the couch was soaked. And we found out that her butt was leaking. And then she went still on and did the performance. I've watched that performance. You would never be able to tell her ass was leaking.

Speaker 3:
[66:05] At all. She looks and she's so gorgeous. She looks like an angel. She sings like an angel. And then when she opens her mouth, Chris is like a sailor. And then she just thinks of like the most on the fly, crazy, insane insults. And it's just so hilarious. But you can also tell that she's a sweetheart. That is what you call like a layered woman.

Speaker 2:
[66:28] Yeah. That's why I think she's... And watching this episode and how much she was featured, I really gave you hope for future seasons of Atlanta. And also, I was like, she's really... I mean, I don't think she's actively trying to come for the crown. But I will say, I think you can give her the ball at this point and she can run with it. Like, she's solid.

Speaker 3:
[66:50] She's not crying. She's just... And that's what people were like, oh, no, but she's been on Love and Hip Hop. She's been on Love and Hip Hop. She wasn't just on Love and Hip Hop, which is a great primer, by the way, because Love and Hip Hop is still on as we speak. But she's had her own spinoffs. She's been in an ensemble. She's been in every kind of a reality TV and also just by herself as an entertainer.

Speaker 2:
[67:14] I was explaining this to Rebecca and I was telling her everything that you had told me last week. And she had no clue that she had this kind of reality show lore and that she'd even talked about her illegal ass injections. And she was like, Oh my God, I had no idea. So it is interesting. And you have to remind a lot of people that they're coming in fresh to K. Michelle. They are not aware of the lore. So it is out there and listen to Kaya because she's able to kind of fill us in on things that I'm definitely not aware of. But what I will say is she's great. She's great. I mean, I think what I love about her is that she's new to this. And you see her being shocked and also being like, No, no, Portia ain't going to do that shit with me. Portia's not. No, no, no. Portia, I do not because there's a scene right there. Oh, I thought you meant stop me and I was like, No. But I'm like, Yes, don't be afraid because Kelly will talk trash about Portia when Portia is not directly in front of her face. Like she's more apt to do it and more comfortable. But K. Michelle will call you out. K. Michelle will call a meeting to talk about the issue. And I think that is interesting. And also, did you see you did see Watch What Happens Live on Sunday with Alicia and Angela Oakley?

Speaker 3:
[68:27] Oh, yes.

Speaker 2:
[68:28] When Angela Oakley was like, just let Phaedra lie. Come on, just let Phaedra come on, just let her lie.

Speaker 3:
[68:34] I love Angie. I am a fan, G. And she is just so, she's so funny. And it's like she has this old soul, but she's telling us that she's younger than Portia, which is crazy to me because she just, whatever. I don't want to debate anything here. It's just crazy what she comes up with, comes out of her mouth, how like easy she is letting things go. How if you see her husband cheating on her, don't tell her. Like, it's just like, wow, it makes, it gives me hope that Atlanta went off the rails at one point, but it gives me hope that, you know, with the right casting and the right people, whether we know them or whether we don't know them, just like with Kay Michelle, who we know, but at least a lot of people do know. And with Angie, who we didn't really know at all, we can like remix the cast and we try to find that balance. We're good. It's just like with Potomac too. Like Potomac, they might make a couple changes, but honestly, like when Stacey Rush came on there, it revitalized the show.

Speaker 2:
[69:45] Well, Stacey Rush, not to compare directly to Phaedra, but I do think, and I've always said, Stacey has a very weird relationship with the truth. And at the same time, I can say that I and also still love Stacey Rush. Those two truths can be held at the same time. Exactly, that's what I'm saying. I cracked up about Angela Oakley because she was right. Let Phaedra lie. Phaedra's so damn entertaining. And like, so what if she eats dead people? So what if that's the kind of food that Phaedra likes? But by the way, where did that rumor get started that they talk about in this episode that Phaedra eats the dead people at her funeral home?

Speaker 3:
[70:17] Pinkie Cole just said that like out of nowhere. She also said stuff about Phaedra's wigs that were not true. And it's always a bald person has something to say about people's hair. And then Phaedra's hairstylist actually got online and was like, excuse me. And then we pulled all the clips of Phaedra looking like a goddess with her hair. And it's like, I've been doing her hair for many years. Why are we praying for her wig?

Speaker 2:
[70:43] Guys, I've been around Phaedra a couple. I've been lucky enough to be around her in person a couple of times. Stunning, stunning woman. Yes, I mean, yes, I'm so tiny, so tiny. The only person tinier than Phaedra is Kyle Cook. I mean, but she is so jam stunning and she is so fun. She's so quick and so funny. And the thing is, yeah, she has a weird relationship with the truth. So what? She's doing great for herself. She's not trying to harm, I don't think she's trying to harm anybody yet. I do want her to be more in these episodes because right now Atlanta is doing a real good job at giving a lot of the newbies big storylines. You got Kay Michelle with the ass leak. You got Pinky in regards to this episode, filing for bankruptcy. She has this empire. She found herself millions of dollars in debt and she's so upset with herself, but she's also trying to protect herself. She's getting lawsuits thrown at her all over the place. Now she's with her husband who we met last week's episode and they talked about that she was suffering in loneliness sometimes with all of this stuff happening with her businesses. He's like, I'm here for you, but then she goes to this lawyer to get advice and she ends up deciding to continue to not tell her husband that she's going to file for bankruptcy. I like Pinky a lot, but I do not think this is going to go well.

Speaker 3:
[72:10] Not a great idea at all. She is actively telling us and not telling her husband. Obviously, she had to tell him before this. But even if I was her husband, I'm seeing you do these confessional and you're not telling me these things. Also, while I'm actively asking you, he's like, how can I take this off your shoulders? How can I help you with this while they are communicating? That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:
[72:36] He's asking her to open up. But it was interesting. It's just like Liz from Rhode Island, where it's like she's, even though she hears this, she still is like, no, it kind of is that thing that you always hear those people say of like, we die alone.

Speaker 3:
[72:52] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[72:53] You know, at the end of the day, you come into this world yourself, you go out by yourself. And I always hate hearing that, you know? But it's true. It's true. There is truth to it, but it is like, it reminds me of like how Pinky's behaving with somebody that's like, no, I take care of me. I take care of me. And I think that attitude, even though she is completely able to have that attitude, she's herself, it's going to cause, it's going to cause big problems at that relationship.

Speaker 3:
[73:21] Oh, well, I mean, they already talk about how they almost got divorced only a year into their marriage and they had like, what, three kids back to back?

Speaker 2:
[73:29] You guys, it was insane. She talks about going to the courthouse to file the papers. They actually pray in the car and then they leave and they've been good ever since, she says. But I was like, but I was like, that's dark, dark. That's a big, if you get in the car to go sign papers, like that's dark, dark.

Speaker 3:
[73:49] And then you pray in the car and then you come back. And so we're still seeing that this is still pretty much a new relationship and they're talking about how they have to date after they've already had these kids and after they've already been married. That is the definition of doing things backwards. And I really hope that this relationship sticks through because it's weird to see and it's weird to hear. But that's a lot of people. A lot of people have kids with people that they don't really know like that. They just rush into things. And it's not to say that it's bad or it's good, but it's just weird when you think about it because it's like, okay, when something happens, are you going to recognize that you decided to jump into life, a lifetime commitment, three lifetime commitments with this person before you actually get to know them while you're actively hiding secrets from them? If you have children with this person and you're married to this person, why aren't you comfortable telling them that you're filing for bankruptcy as an individual?

Speaker 2:
[74:58] Because how is the other person going to feel when they find out that you couldn't trust them with this in your time of need when they have actively said, please trust me if you ever have times of need? Please trust me, because then it's going to make your partner feel like they're a piece of doodoo, that they didn't have what it took to actually, you know, that you didn't think that they had what it took to be able to comfort you or help you. And he even says in this episode, let me help you. I will say the one thing I did love about their date night, they started off with a shot of Casa Azul. And I was like, yeah. When we get to go on a date night again, I was like, yeah, let's start it off with a shot. Like I'm not a big, I haven't taken a shot in a very long time.

Speaker 3:
[75:35] But I was like, well, that's the perfect time to take a shot.

Speaker 2:
[75:38] Yeah, it's a great way to start a start a date, unless, you know, you're sober and then don't do that. That's, I don't want you to do that.

Speaker 4:
[75:45] I mean, he was sober, he was sober.

Speaker 2:
[75:48] But I think it's like a really interesting relationship because there seems like a lot of love there. And he doesn't, her husband doesn't skeeve me out or weird me out. Like, he's not like, I'm like, watch out for that guy. So I'm really nervous about where this storyline is going to head.

Speaker 3:
[76:05] I just hope that it doesn't cost her her relationship. And even if it doesn't cost her the relationship, it's either going to strengthen it or it will never be the same. Because not only have you felt not comfortable telling me what's going on, but you also went on TV and you said these things and I'm watching it back. And I was in the dark all along. I just don't like being in the dark. And I get what she's saying because she's also talking about like the stress of being a Black woman who has all these people coming behind you. Like I want to set this example. And I'm like, Sletty Vegan is a huge brand. Everyone has heard about it. Everyone has visited it. Like it's like, it seems to be a success and it is a success. But she's trying to explain to people like, this does not mean that I am personally broke. I just did things wrong and put them like in my name. And even the lawsuits that she was naming, $100,000 fine to play the Gervonta Davis fight.

Speaker 2:
[77:10] Yeah, she was going over the lawsuits, you guys, and I was like-

Speaker 3:
[77:13] I want to go back to the old podcast episodes and remove that music, babes.

Speaker 2:
[77:16] Yeah, yeah, a lot of them are removed actually. But no, it is interesting. Like they're talking about like things that you never would think that you would have to deal with when you become successful. That's why I've really chosen never to become successful, because it seems like this shit has gone out there and it happens, and it's got to be so annoying because it's not what you got into business for. It's not anything you could have potentially controlled. It's not even something you were aware that was wrong. And that is, by the way, in 2026, we are in a litigious society in America. It's like we will sue for anything and you'll get millions. You will get millions. There are people that make their whole living from suing people. So people are always out there. Yeah, that's a growth industry, you guys. That's not going away.

Speaker 3:
[78:05] Was that love after a lock up where there's this one guy who just lived his life just suing people? Oh my God, it was just so good.

Speaker 2:
[78:14] So aspirational.

Speaker 3:
[78:15] Yeah, it was like a liquor license problem, which was like, I think, millions of dollars.

Speaker 2:
[78:22] Which was even bizarre because they were pissed at the people that were giving her the place. She wasn't using their liquor license. She was using her own liquor license, which was insane.

Speaker 3:
[78:32] So yeah, it's just like just little small things can fuck up your whole business. And that's why it's so scary. Like you said, that's why I'm not successful either.

Speaker 2:
[78:42] Yeah, I've chosen to keep myself down for as long. I just, you know what, I just want to skate by. That's my motto, just skate by. Put the work in, skate by. Yeah, I'll put the work in. I'm not going to advertise the work. I'm just going to put it out there. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I do want to make a point that Kay Michelle, as in the hospital, she has a glam team. She wants to make sure she looks the best in the hospital.

Speaker 3:
[79:07] And did she?

Speaker 2:
[79:08] She did. She did. And a couple of the cast mates came by and supported her. We have a scene at Drew and Angela's House where Angela Oakley puts out a really interesting charcuterie tray.

Speaker 3:
[79:19] And that Lanza charcuterie board, she had chicken fingers on that shit. Hell yeah.

Speaker 2:
[79:25] She had chicken fingers and she had like, it looked like Domino's dipping sauce or something like that. It looked like it was like a lid that you had to peel off. And it was a very tiny plate. And I was like, that's like somebody that doesn't want to admit they did not go out and shop for charcuteries. They literally put together whatever's in their fridge. But it cracked me up. Drew talks about paying her bills right now just directly with acting. But the balance of mothering and working is really hard. And they do a flashback of three days prior with her kids. And we see her daughter crying and Drew comforting her. This kind of broke my heart because sometimes reality television shows will show something that you're like, oh.

Speaker 3:
[80:02] Too real.

Speaker 2:
[80:03] Yeah, this is real. This is real real. And I feel bad that a cameraman's filming a child crying and Drew comforting her, you know?

Speaker 3:
[80:13] Yeah. But then it shows like other moms, like, you know, and dads, like what they go through. How?

Speaker 2:
[80:20] Sure. But it's like, sorry, girl. We're doing a, we're putting out a positive message for the rest of the world. You just have to suffer.

Speaker 3:
[80:29] Some of those, like the people who've grown up on reality TV, like on New Jersey, like we've seen them since they were children and we had to see them see their mother and father go to jail.

Speaker 2:
[80:40] Oh, God.

Speaker 3:
[80:42] So, like, talk about.

Speaker 2:
[80:43] Or even, I mean, even in Jersey, think about Gia and those kids having to see that one episode when Joe's like, oh, he's my fucking stupid bitch wife coming at, you know, when he's on the phone with his mistress, just a fucking stupid bitch wife. No, I'm talking to my worker. I'm talking, no, no, I'm talking to the guy at the pizzeria, the pizzeria, I'm talking to that guy. I'm like, stupid bitch wife. Like, they gotta hear that.

Speaker 3:
[81:07] I say that for no reason sometimes. And I'm like, what?

Speaker 4:
[81:10] Yeah, I know, stupid bitch wife.

Speaker 3:
[81:11] There's a little vocal sin.

Speaker 2:
[81:13] Yeah, it relaxes me. Angela, though, points out once again that she is a serial entrepreneur. She's a real estate guru, but she's lost money on all of her houses. It's been a tough road. She's lost $2 million of her own money in real estate deals, but she still is gonna, this is like gambling. She's gonna go back. She just needs one win. And this is gonna be a very small house. It's like $180,000 home. She's, it's a very tiny thing. She just wants to make a dollar profit. She just, she's down and she just wants one win. Is there anything wrong with Angela's way of thinking?

Speaker 3:
[81:46] I just think give it up Delicious. But at the same time when she explains it, and that's when it comes like you're a real person and it made me feel bad. Just like all these things. She's like, I need a win. Also, I feel like I didn't get closure with my mom, so I want closure with this. We find out how she lost her mom. Literally losing your mom is just a different fucking level. Especially watching Summer House, it's just like, oh my God. Watching Angela talking about this. Mia.

Speaker 2:
[82:17] Well, even on tonight's episode, Mia going to the psychic and talking about that. I will say, I think, I don't know if we talked about it last week or maybe I was talking about with Tom, is they were talking about the psychic on Summer House. I think he asked, would you ever go to that? I was like, yeah, I don't think so. But I watched this scene with Mia and then it made me go, oh my God, I miss my mom. I would love to hear what she has to say. I was like, maybe I will go to a psychic.

Speaker 3:
[82:44] You never know. You never know, especially when you're seeing these things happen. That's why I was saying, there's so many different storylines going on in all of these shows. But especially with Summer House, I hate that it's all like Amanda and West because look at what Mia is bringing. And then she also has that sense of humor that I have, where it's like, okay, this is very serious. But I'm like, I know y'all didn't sign up for that. And she was just like talking to the camera. It's like, oh my God, I love you so much and I want you to be okay. But yeah, so with Angie, I'm like, girl, leave these damn houses alone. But then when she talks about it and she explains-

Speaker 2:
[83:21] I get it.

Speaker 3:
[83:22] Like I get it, I get it.

Speaker 2:
[83:23] And hopefully the show is going to give her a win. Hopefully this actually does sell. I have a feeling it will. I have a feeling even though it's like a real fixer-upper because we see it in this episode with her daughter. And I think they'll give her a win. I think, I think, you know, and she obviously deserves it. And I hope it gives her everything that she needs.

Speaker 3:
[83:40] And just buy the fucking house.

Speaker 4:
[83:41] Like you'll love it.

Speaker 3:
[83:43] Like that is a gay Mecca. Like, hello, you love black men.

Speaker 5:
[83:46] Like, did you see?

Speaker 2:
[83:47] Did you see Andy announce his next book today?

Speaker 3:
[83:50] Oh, I just saw the post, but I don't really know what it's about.

Speaker 2:
[83:55] It's like a scrapbook of all his own personal photos that he's taken over the years at these big events. Like, so his personal camera roll. What's that?

Speaker 3:
[84:04] I want it.

Speaker 2:
[84:05] Are you kidding me? I mean, like that goes without saying. Of course I want it.

Speaker 3:
[84:09] I want it. You know what I don't want? And they're forcing on me. Don't tell anyone. This is between me and the people who are listening. They keep fucking trying to, well, they are going to send me to Reets Book. And I'm like, you've either-

Speaker 6:
[84:22] Wait, how are you? Who's going to send?

Speaker 2:
[84:24] Why don't I get these fucking offers?

Speaker 6:
[84:26] I want to read the book.

Speaker 3:
[84:27] I think that you do. You get, you know what? You might not get offers, but you get to get a lot of people on your fucking podcast.

Speaker 2:
[84:34] Okay, well, yeah, yeah. But I want to read the book. I want to read the book.

Speaker 3:
[84:38] So that we can help each other. Like, bitch, I need Bajor on my damn podcast. Like, I need some, like, give me some, I can get some people myself, but like you have like these all, you'll be like the entire cast of Euphoria today. And like, hey folks, I got Zendaya right here. I'm like, well, what the fuck, folks, do you mean? Like, how did you get this entire cast of Ways of London and your studio? Then I'm like, oh, did you get this, this little insignificant thing? You're like, no, they didn't offer me that. And I'm like, what are you doing?

Speaker 2:
[85:14] Well, and by the way, those are the insignificant things aren't insignificant to me. I mean, to read this book means a great deal to me. I want to be unburdened. I want to be unburdened. And I love the fact that she used to ghostwriters. In fact, there was, there was somebody that works in the ghostwriting industry that did tell me that they were offered this ghostwriting assignment and they turned it down. And I thought that was interesting.

Speaker 4:
[85:37] Tea, Beverly Hills Tea, even though I haven't watched it.

Speaker 2:
[85:42] And I do, I want to know how much, like if Dureet read the book for the audiobook and she was surprised by what's in it, she was like, Oh, wow, that's great.

Speaker 3:
[85:51] I would, I love an audiobook more than an actual book.

Speaker 2:
[85:54] Because I will fucking audiobook up, dude.

Speaker 3:
[85:58] That's the only celebrity book that I was really locked into when I liked her. When Lala put out Give Them Lala, Shout out to Samaj. Samaj literally got me the fucking audiobook. And I listened to Lala talk about her entire life. And I'm just like, damn. But yeah, Dureet's people, not her people, but the publishing house emailed me two to three times. And I was like, tell my mom about it. She's like, just get the book. I'll read it.

Speaker 2:
[86:26] Dude, will you forward me that publishing house so I can reach out directly? I want to read that book. Because I seriously would read that book. By the way, we're promoting that book right now.

Speaker 3:
[86:38] I'm like, how do you think? Why are you offering me this? Because I famously-

Speaker 2:
[86:44] Because you're actually a good voice in Bravo pop culture.

Speaker 3:
[86:48] I just don't get it. I don't get it. But I think that I should be flattered. I should take it and I will-

Speaker 2:
[86:54] You know what I think it is sometimes too? I'm saying you also are very successful at what you do and you're very talented. But I do think sometimes they're like, look at every account that says Bravo in the name. Yeah. Yeah. I think that's where they start and then they go-

Speaker 3:
[87:08] And who has the most followers.

Speaker 2:
[87:08] Who sucks and you're like, you got a good follower account, you got this, you got a podcast, you got this. That's great. That's what we need.

Speaker 3:
[87:16] But then that means that you should be top of the list. You're the best of them.

Speaker 2:
[87:19] But I don't have Bravo in my title. It's So Bad It's Good.

Speaker 3:
[87:25] But you talk about Bravo so much that when we type Bravo in the search engine and podcast and shit, you pop up first.

Speaker 2:
[87:31] Oh, really? I've never typed.

Speaker 3:
[87:34] I do research on arms.

Speaker 2:
[87:36] Yeah, you guys, Kaya will tell me things. I'm like, I don't do any of that. Like, Kaya is really locked in.

Speaker 3:
[87:42] Baby, I can make ya stop.

Speaker 2:
[87:43] That's what I'm saying. I told her, I said, listen, if you weren't so damn talented, I'd just have you be my manager. But I think Kaya, I'm going to be writing Kaya's coattails here in about six, six to seven months. Okay, we got to move on with this because I hear my baby crying. The, the Portia, by the way, Portia's at a nail salon and I do love that she enters the nail salon with a red solo cup, which Kim Zolciak is the one that Kim Zolciak really did the red solo cup. So this was a nice homage, but I do love that Portia is one of the fancier ladies, if not the fanciest lady on the show, and she's still rolling with a red solo cup. And she meets Cynthia and Phaedra at this OG salon. Kay Michelle is helped out of her car by her husband. And she's still there, which I was like, isn't it painful to sit down, Kay Michelle?

Speaker 3:
[88:30] And didn't she just come from the hospital? Because wasn't that the outfit that she wore? And she got her hair done, literally, the glam's on at the hospital. I'm like, that is literally...

Speaker 2:
[88:40] It looked like it. And so I was like, listen, this lady is going to sit down at a nail salon. And they start talking. And Cynthia is great as a friend of... She has like actually two scenes in this episode. So she's relaying the story about the thing that happened. And she's like, I stood up, the whole couch was wet. And then this is where it goes off the rail because Portia's like, did you have a miscarriage? And Kay and it's like, I don't know if she's serious or just dumb. You think you should ask if I lost a baby in my hot pocket? And this is where she starts saying hot pocket, which is great. And, you know, Phaedra's like, oh, the water just broke in your ass. And Kay ended up talking to Ed, like Portia knows exactly what happened to me. It's just like she told me all those times that her boobs weren't healing. Why are you saying that? And we do have conversations where Kay Michelle had opened up to Portia about the illegal silicone injections in her ass, that she is so scarred by physically and mentally because she will never be able to get rid of the silicone in her ass. But what did you think about? Did you think this was innocuous of Portia?

Speaker 3:
[89:52] Yeah, but I understand why Kay Michelle got, and I remember on Twitter, I'm like, who could she be talking about? She's filming with Atlanta. I remember that happening and it's being all over the blogs. Like they're like, oh, Kay Michelle's activated. Someone got Kay Michelle activated. I didn't even know it was Portia, but I think that Portia was being a fucking dingbat, like as she called her a bimbo. And that is actually kind of like, there's like a niche of women who are like bimbos that we love. And like, unfortunately, she may have put her foot in her mouth and I don't think it was on purpose, but at the same time, I think Kay Michelle, cause she thinks with like common sense. It's like, you don't just say that out loud when, one, you know what I'm going through physically, two, you're another woman, and three, you know I'm trying to have a baby. So that she can be sensitive all she wants. So there's a lot of chatter online, a brother or not, she did that on purpose and Kay Michelle overreacted. But at the same time, it's like even if they weren't in the middle of a hair salon, even if they were just having a conversation, you don't just like fucking say that. And she said it so flippantly.

Speaker 2:
[90:59] I know. So that's why I was like, I kind of thought it was innocuous. It was just Portia just trying to like have a funny little line in a TV show. And Kay was not having it. Kay Michelle was like, what the fuck is your problem? You dingbat. And she's talking about Hot Pocket. And Cynthia's like, what's a hot pocket? And Kay's like, a vagina, a vagina. Oh, it's warm. It's hot, a vagina. So Hot Pocket, it's a great thing to add to your repertoire, you guys out there listening. And then we have a storyline with Shavia. And we actually have a little scene with her dude, Gerald. And we see that, by the way, they're all wearing Pace University gear. Did you notice that?

Speaker 3:
[91:42] Yeah, I did notice that. And I'm like, none of you went there. Did you?

Speaker 2:
[91:47] But I wonder why are they both wearing Pace University gear? They were just decked out in it. And I will say we get to see Gerald at work in business. He hops on a business call with Shamiah because she wants to do this rum company she's been talking about. And that's why she's going to Grenada so much. And you really see that this Gerald, he's like, he's tough. There's a reason why he's successful. And I'm so happy that he agreed to film this because it also just shows you how much these housewives are sometimes taken in these companies. They're just like, yeah, I'll put my name on it. Yeah, I want to have a source of revenue. I want to bring in money. And you just realize that like, Gerald is like, this isn't a sustainable business. I'm not going to put my money into this. This doesn't seem to be sustainable, right?

Speaker 3:
[92:34] And then she goes to have that meeting with the guy with the green beard. And I'm like, yeah, this is not going to work.

Speaker 2:
[92:41] Yeah, so she goes, and that's later in the episode. She meets this guy with the green beard. It's kind of a leprechaun and then meets this Maximilian guy that's helping her as well. And they do like a FaceTime or a Zoom with the company in Grenada, and they're talking about the price point. And they're talking about like, yo, well, first off, she has an idea for peaches, like peaches rum, and then the bottle's gonna be in the shape of her own ass. Which I was like, that's kind of inventive. I would probably buy that at Bravo Con. But she's like, there's no peaches in Grenada. That's not something that you would have to find a way to get the peach flavoring in. And they already are gonna be charging her 30 American dollars just to get like her before she even puts it out. So the price point for her to make anything would have to be $45. Which who's paying that for a bottle of rum unless it's like an established rum line.

Speaker 3:
[93:34] Or a very famous celebrity. Not like, you know.

Speaker 2:
[93:38] Shamia. Yeah, by the way, if Portia did it, I'm joking.

Speaker 3:
[93:42] Yeah, like if Portia did it, hold on now. But Shamia girl, hold on. Like I don't know how I feel about you. And also, peach rum does sound good. But I can probably just do that on my own.

Speaker 2:
[93:57] I did like the family zooming in from Grenada. I was like, holy shit. They were like a trip. I was like, I need more of this family. They were kind of all just hovering over each other.

Speaker 3:
[94:06] It wouldn't it be funny if they just went into a spinoff like of the family. I would love to see that. Like you gotta, let's see what's happening in Grenada. And then have the housewives come visit.

Speaker 2:
[94:18] And it's called it's called like rum punch with whoever the family name is.

Speaker 3:
[94:23] Rum punch love.

Speaker 2:
[94:24] Yeah. I don't know. I thought that was great. And then we eventually have a lunch with Kay Michelle, Cynthia and and Pink Miss Pinkie. And we find out that Kay Michelle and Pinkie, they are sorority sisters, seven Beta Alpha Florida University, which I thought was really cool. So they that's the HBCU, is that HBCU? HBCU. Sorry. You know what? To be honest, this is how ignorant I was. I first, this sounds so ignorant, but I first learned about HBCUs through Beyonce's Coachella concert.

Speaker 3:
[94:58] That's so wild. I'm sorry, Ryan. You are too old to not know what an HBCU is.

Speaker 2:
[95:06] But don't you think that's also the importance of Beyonce like highlighting things like that? Because people will be like that. That really does show awareness.

Speaker 3:
[95:14] Well, absolutely. But I'm still going to shame you because I feel like you should have known that. You should have.

Speaker 2:
[95:20] I should have. By the way, I should have. That's why I'm admitting I'm an idiot. I do not.

Speaker 3:
[95:24] That is wild to me. I cannot believe this. I should close this thing.

Speaker 2:
[95:29] Ryan, cut this out. Ryan, cut this out of the episode.

Speaker 3:
[95:33] No, but Beyoncé, she's just obviously Beyoncé. And that's when she put out Lemonade and people found out that she was black. So they did the whole FNL skit about how she put out the song and they're like, Beyoncé's black? It kind of goes hand in hand, not as serious, but I get it. I love that she was able to introduce you to that. Just like, hey, Michelle's going to be introducing you to different things. Introduce you to a hot pocket. She introduces you to- Wait.

Speaker 2:
[96:09] Wait, just go back real quick. I didn't listen to Lemonade. Beyoncé's black?

Speaker 3:
[96:13] Oh, well, this is going to be another podcast.

Speaker 2:
[96:16] I knew she was married to Jay-Z, who is a black man, but she herself is not black. I thought, wait.

Speaker 3:
[96:21] We have a whole other podcast.

Speaker 2:
[96:23] Wait a sec. She's just so tan. I know. Anyway, okay. They have this lunch, these three women. And I like that Kay orders watermelon juice with vodka. She says in a talking head, if I need a drink to give me a little happiness, I feel like I deserve that. And I'm like, you know what? You're right. We should have a little bit more of that attitude. If I need this, I deserve it, damn it.

Speaker 3:
[96:45] I'm not shaming people for fucking drinking in the daytime.

Speaker 2:
[96:49] And this is where we talk about what Kaya had said about Kay Michelle's tweets where she was activated and calling Portia a bimbo and all of the bimbos are the loudest and most confident. Shut your face. These are the kind of things she was tweeting. And she says, I've been speaking my mind on Twitter for 10 years and no one's going to question me. I'm famous.

Speaker 3:
[97:08] I was so happy that they did the Jimmy Kimmel bit for you.

Speaker 2:
[97:11] I know. Yeah, they did the reading the mean tweets.

Speaker 3:
[97:14] They're like, we have one straight man watching and we got one shot. Let's do this right. Because they did it in a sweet style.

Speaker 2:
[97:21] I wonder if people got that that's a Jimmy Kimmel bit. But I also don't think the Atlanta cast didn't understand, I don't think, that it was a bit.

Speaker 3:
[97:30] And it's okay.

Speaker 2:
[97:31] Yeah, it was great. It was great. And they talk about like Portia and being dumb and all of this shit. And Cynthia's like, listen, a lot of them do dumb stuff. Portia owes you an apology and she will give it when she realizes that she said something idiotic in regards to did you have a miscarriage when it was just your ass leaking from silicone injections. And then Kay is like, hey, yo, by the way, what's up with Phaedra? All Phaedra does is giggle. And then Pinky says she's too busy eating dead people at the morgue. And I was like, interesting. But also it comes from like her trying to get back because Phaedra is saying something about eating meat, right?

Speaker 3:
[98:15] Yeah, but I feel like also that is just a very weird thing. You go straight to not even cannibalism, but like dead people. And also it's fine now later that Phaedra actually eats dead people that well.

Speaker 2:
[98:28] Because you guys just to remind you, we've said it already, but she runs a mortuary. She has a couple of them, I believe. So it's like she would, I don't want to keep this going. She would have access to dead people. I just, I mean, like, so that's why you don't want to put those rumors out there, because that's dangerous.

Speaker 3:
[98:44] Well, I don't think anyone actually like believes it, but it's wild, like that she went straight to that. And I'm like, OK, I guess, you know, sure. But you can't talk about her hair. I'm sorry. You can't talk about her hair, especially when you're ball headed. And also her hair is literally always beautiful. I've never seen her without her hair done. And also her natural hair without the wigs is very, very beautiful. So that's wild. And K. Michelle is a titan on Twitter. She gets bitches together. Like it's nothing like she's she's one of the reigning champions of Twitter.

Speaker 2:
[99:24] So I'm not I'm not doing it. I'm not going back on Twitter. I can't do it. I'm happy for K. Michelle. Don't go back. I'm happy for K. Michelle. And I will say the the end Pinky is just talking about can I can I grow with all of these women? Can I share my secrets? That's the whole point of this. And I think K. Michelle is thinking the same thing. So it'll be interesting to see how these relationships develop. We also had a scene where that guy Black, B-L-A-K-K-K, that is trying to get in Drew's Well, not K. Well, KK. Drew Sidora's pants. And he gives her like 36 red roses. He pulls up in a Lamborghini. They're at a hookah bar. She orders white gummy bear hookah. He orders something with blueberry. And he's like, dude, all my money aside, you look like a million bucks, Drew.

Speaker 3:
[100:11] I'm sorry, this guy has what the kids call Riz. I definitely, I would date him.

Speaker 2:
[100:19] Yeah, but also then Drew into talking to that goes, Black is brilliant. He's a real friend who is there and consistent. Also I don't know if Black's brilliant yet. I've only just met him like two times. And one of those times was on FaceTime at a dinner. But like he's brilliant all of a sudden. And I will say, is this very common with women that they'll just take on friends that are actively trying to get in their pants, but they keep them in the friend zone and the guy just keeps pushing because eventually he thinks he'll be able to like wear her down, but he just has to pay a lot of money.

Speaker 3:
[100:49] Well, yes. I mean, ultimately we're getting a divorce. So you're going to need that money. Also, you just said that you're the one who is like working a bunch. But I think it's so odd to hear all this while actively right now, Drew Sidora basically just said that she can't afford to like move out of her house. I'm like, okay, so that's wild. But okay, when she talked about Black being brilliant or whatever, he is the owner of one of the first smokeless vape companies or something. He really is a business man.

Speaker 2:
[101:24] Well, obviously, he's in a Lamborghini and he's a fancy hookah bar.

Speaker 3:
[101:28] Yeah, this guy has it going. So at the end of the day, it's like, okay, you know that one guy that has money that you're not going to buy right now, but you got to keep him, you got to string him along. And also, he's not bad to look at. So I like...

Speaker 2:
[101:41] But see, also, she's like, we cuddle, we snuggle, we hold hands, but they don't kiss.

Speaker 3:
[101:47] I think that we know from the get-go when she was like, oh, we do a lot on the phone. Like, okay, we know. We don't do that, excuse me, like...

Speaker 2:
[101:56] Well, she says she has a divorce journey and she's putting energy into her kids. And, you know, but he's like, yo, the divorce ain't finalized. You know, you give wife, he says. You are an investment that someone else invested in. I don't share. I'm a boss, but I'm not rushing it. And she's like, Black knows where we stand. And Drew's like, you're my best friend. We are really committed to creating a healthy friendship. And he's like, girl, I'll always be a safe space. And Drew goes, even if I get a man, and he's like, what do you think I'm doing this for? My health? And I'm like, Drew, what are you, I love Drew trying to test the boundaries. Like, what if I get a man? I'm like, girl, peace, goodbye, then it's done. But he also said he got gifts for the kids.

Speaker 3:
[102:38] Yeah, he's going above and beyond. And I think that she likes being showered like that. Like not only are you thinking of me, but you're also thinking of my kids, but I don't want to introduce you to them just yet, because that man is still in my basement. So.

Speaker 2:
[102:56] And it turns out, I mean, I was reading like how much like Ralph makes so much more than Drew, according to the court papers makes. Like he makes a very good living.

Speaker 3:
[103:07] He makes a very good living. And then, but also Drew's definitely, I'm not trying to blow up her spot, but girl.

Speaker 2:
[103:14] Drew's hiding money.

Speaker 3:
[103:17] She's not broke, because the amount of Tubi movies that she's in, she has got to be at least.

Speaker 2:
[103:23] Tubi. Tubi.

Speaker 3:
[103:24] At least she's worth like two million or something.

Speaker 2:
[103:27] You know, Drew's what we call a thousandaire.

Speaker 3:
[103:31] Hey, she got more money than me. It's the fact that she's literally in all these Tubi dramas. And like, damn, I want to be in a micro drama. That's like one of my goals is to be in micro dramas.

Speaker 2:
[103:41] Yeah, you could do that today. Like, film your own micro drama.

Speaker 3:
[103:46] I wish. But yeah, so Drew is just lying because obviously she doesn't want to pay. She's the one who would outwardly. She's on, first of all, she's on the show. Second of all, she's an actress. Third of all, she's also doing music. And she probably has residuals from like the game, possibly. Maybe even like fucking Disney. Well, no, we know that Disney Channel does not pay residuals.

Speaker 2:
[104:09] Just to let you know, Bravo doesn't pay residuals.

Speaker 3:
[104:12] Well, okay. Well, she has her signing bonus or her episodes, whatever it is. She's making more than whatever she put down.

Speaker 2:
[104:19] Yes. Yeah. What she put down seemed like such a pittance where I was like, this isn't true at all. And in fact, it stood out so much to me that I was like, what are you a dummy? Like you will be, I could even prove that this is wrong right now. Like I just feel it doesn't look good in the court's eyes because if I can disprove this and I'm a fan of Drew, then imagine what somebody that dislikes Drew and wants to see her pay could do with that. That's what I get nervous about.

Speaker 3:
[104:44] But I mean, she can also put that she's always getting sued because she's another Grace Newolph who's always getting sued.

Speaker 4:
[104:50] Like whether it's someone who works for her or her ex-husband or her ex-husband, like she's always getting sued.

Speaker 2:
[104:56] So what happened to Drop It with Drew? Are we not dropping it anymore? Did everybody drop it? Okay.

Speaker 4:
[105:02] That was just not it.

Speaker 3:
[105:03] It's like She By Shiree. The website was so busy that it literally, it crashed.

Speaker 2:
[105:11] It sucks. So that, you know, She By Shiree is such a good example of like, dude, she really had something. If she really worked her ass off, like she had such brand recognition, like if she had done that right, like it really could have gone from a joke to not a joke.

Speaker 3:
[105:28] She could literally still drop ship that shit today, and it would still be a hit, but I don't know what she's doing. Like she just won't do it.

Speaker 2:
[105:37] I'm like, I'm so- Some people just don't like, some people like we stand in our own way. I do it all the time. Like I do understand that, but I will say there's such goodwill towards her sometimes that we're like, we were all wanting more She By Shiree.

Speaker 3:
[105:49] Well, reflect, because a lot of people want Ryan Bailey merch a lot more.

Speaker 2:
[105:54] Anyway, okay, our last scene is Kay Michelle, a Kay Michelle meeting with Portia. They're at this restaurant and Portia's like, I texted you and asked how you were feeling and Kay's like, I was mad at you. Then Portia's on her phone dilly dallying. She's like, you're going to talk to me or you're going to be on your phone? She's like, Portia, when I came in and sat and talked to you about the puddle, you said I had a miscarriage. Why would you say that? She's like, I didn't know nothing was wrong with your butt. She's like, because I didn't know nothing was wrong with your butt.

Speaker 3:
[106:26] What a lie.

Speaker 2:
[106:28] We talked about my surgery, and Portia's like, girl, when? And she's like, even so, even so even if I didn't, who talks about a miscarriage? And then Portia flips it and goes, well, I've had several issues with infertility issues. I have woken up in a puddle of blood. And so then you're like, oh shit, Portia might have a point here, right?

Speaker 3:
[106:54] No, because I still feel like that's not the time and place. Now you're just making it about you when I literally am trying to tell you, like, you offended me and now you're trying to, you know, flip it on how you've had miscarriages before.

Speaker 2:
[107:07] But I'm saying as a reality star, that's a good move.

Speaker 3:
[107:10] Yeah. Well, it's a move for you because your biggest thing is like, what is real from Portia? And now you're like, oh, well.

Speaker 2:
[107:17] No, no, no, no. I'm not saying I like it. I'm in Team K Michelle's camp. But I'm saying it's, yeah. But she's expecting it to be taken as a real thing. And so K Michelle, though, is very smart. Like she's like, okay, you know, I was caught off guard, you know, this is supposed to be a safe space. I didn't like it. It was uncomfortable. And Portia's like, the last thing I thought you would say is the surgery that you were dealing with. And believe me, it was not my intention. And in The Talking Ed, Portia's like, it was never a dig about a miscarriage. I represent the March of Dimes. And she invokes the March of Dimes. What?

Speaker 3:
[107:58] Important charity that supports women.

Speaker 2:
[108:01] Yeah, so she brings up the March of Dimes. I would never come for her. And Kay in The Talking Ed is like, I don't care if you have had the same issues in life, you know, as me, the fact that you take something sensitive as a miscarriage. And she's like, I'm trying to have a baby as well. And so we flash back to a conversation between Portia and Kay, where Kay's talking about trying for another kid. And at this point, she can't have twins, or she can't have multiple babies. And so, you know, she had had this conversation with Portia previously. And then Portia's like, so that was me you were talking about online. And Portia in The Talking Ed goes, bimbo. She called me a bimbo. Bimbo is loud. So country ass of her. Was it country ass of her?

Speaker 3:
[108:46] That wasn't country ass of her. And K. Michelle does a lot of country ass things, but that wasn't one that was like a top tier insult.

Speaker 2:
[108:54] Yeah, so they are kind of like, not really fully sparring. But Kay is like, I don't ever want to say something I regret because I am a reformed crash out. And Portia is like, me too, me too, which I love the phrase reformed crash out. And she said, I commend you for today because this is how you start some sisterhood shit. Portia tells Kay, don't go and talk to this girl and that girl and this girl. And Kay is like, oh, I don't talk to this girl and that girl. I was pissed. And Portia is like, not on me, not on me, damn. But that's like another reality show move of Portia going, I like what you did here today. I like what you did here today.

Speaker 6:
[109:30] She respects her game.

Speaker 2:
[109:33] Yeah.

Speaker 3:
[109:33] Oh, I see you. And I have finally someone to spar with, someone to play with, someone that's on my level. And not only that, I introduce you, and you're already going up against me, but not to the point where you are dragging things. Like we're taking it here and we're talking about it, and it is what it is. Kay Michelle did tweet about it because people were, and I'm not on Twitter, but people were talking about it. And she said, someone said, of course you didn't mean any harm, you look beautiful tonight, and why did you call out Phaedra like that? She said, I believe now after the heart to heart, I believe that now after a heart to heart. And she said that she loves Phaedra. She also tweeted, have you ever almost died from a surgery question mark? Have you ever lost several babies question mark? And everyone I knew, oh, everyone knew why I was in the hospital. I was out the hospital bed an hour and yeah, so that was the same day. I was out the hospital bed an hour and being asked if I had a miscarriage in an Atlanta nail salon. I forgive and come in peace, but I'm very much clocked in. So I love like the warning shots. I love that she kind of like forgave her. She talked about it, she addressed it. Some people think that it was a reach, some people don't. And I can see both sides of it. Regardless of what Portia meant and what way people go through their own things and you can only respond how you react to them. But either way, it was a very funny, hilarious episode, very funny, hilarious people. And we also are building, like we have the building blocks for a better, Atlanta maybe.

Speaker 2:
[111:10] Well, and I will say, that's what I said. What I said at the beginning, Kay Michelle could take this. By the end of the season, she could walk off with this season. And I think she wouldn't do it in a mean way. But I'm like, she's got all the elements of a superstar on Bravo. And at the same time, I'm kind of like, I don't want to lose her, because I think she's already kind of well enough off where she also doesn't need it. Yeah. And so those are the ones that I want the most, the ones that don't really need it, because she actually has a talent in her singing and her writing and things like that. So those are the ones I worry about. So I don't know. I thought it was great. It was a night of comedy. This has been a very long episode. So I want to thank Kaya, first of all, I mean, I want to thank you guys for listening or watching this. You're so amazing to us. But secondly, I want to promote Bravo We're Black. They have multiple episodes per week. Wait, what's going on with your Patreon, by the way?

Speaker 3:
[112:04] Oh, my Patreon? I'm doing some stuff with it. You will get the app free episodes on Patreon. That is what you are getting. I got the camera all the bloggers have, like that camera that you just flip it, the DJI Osmo camera. So I've been vlogging some stuff. Someone busted out my window the other day, so I vlogged.

Speaker 2:
[112:28] What do you mean vlogging some stuff? I'm confused what vlogging is in 2026.

Speaker 3:
[112:33] Like, okay, not live streaming, but like spend the day with me or open these boxes with me. Just like video.

Speaker 2:
[112:41] Oh, okay.

Speaker 3:
[112:42] Just personal.

Speaker 2:
[112:43] So you do that horizontal or vertical?

Speaker 3:
[112:45] The great thing is with the camera is you literally, like I wish it was here, you literally just flip it and you can film it vertically or you can film it horizontally. And they have these great, like it has a gimbal on it.

Speaker 2:
[112:58] Is vlogging supposed to be horizontal or vertical?

Speaker 3:
[113:02] Vlogging, it doesn't matter. Okay.

Speaker 2:
[113:04] I just want to add in the rules.

Speaker 3:
[113:06] Because guess what, like at first it was horizontal because vlogging was like exclusive like to YouTube and stuff. But as we take vlogging to other mediums, and social media is changing the way things are seen, that's why you want to film in vertical and horizontal at the same time, which there's an app for that.

Speaker 2:
[113:25] Oh yeah. That dude created that app that was all of a sudden out of the gate, a hit where it would film both for you. There was just a couple of weeks you guys, and it was number one on the app store. It's a one-time payment. But it's such a simple idea so much so that I was like, why didn't this just come on our phones to begin with? But it's a simple idea that the guy's now a millionaire because of this in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 3:
[113:48] Yeah, it's just like with the new iPhone, I got it only because I'm like, okay, well, I'm a content creator, so I need to have the two cameras at the same time. TikTok already offered that shit, so it should have been built in the phone anyway. But anyways, I'm vlogging. Someone busted out my windows, so I'll upload that vlog. I also went to Marshall's, so I took you guys to Marshall's with me and told you what I got. And then anyways, so it's patreon.com/bravo while black. And also I'm obviously here every week to talk about Atlanta. I'm doing euphoria and stuff with Leah from Positively Uncensored. And then I'm doing Southern Hospitality and the-

Speaker 2:
[114:27] Wait, who's Leah? Who's, I don't know-

Speaker 3:
[114:30] Positively Uncensored.

Speaker 2:
[114:32] Leah Black?

Speaker 3:
[114:33] No, she's white, unfortunately. She's one of-

Speaker 2:
[114:37] No, I said Leah Black from Real Housewives of Miami.

Speaker 3:
[114:39] I'm like, is Leah Black? I'm like, hello. I know that you hung around me a while ago.

Speaker 2:
[114:45] Is she white like Beyonce?

Speaker 3:
[114:46] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[114:47] So Leah has a show called Positive and Uncensored?

Speaker 4:
[114:52] No.

Speaker 3:
[114:53] It's a podcast and YouTube, and she's very big on TikTok, called Positively Uncensored.

Speaker 2:
[114:59] Positively Uncensored.

Speaker 4:
[115:02] Leah from Positively Uncensored.

Speaker 3:
[115:04] She's like you with getting these very niche reality people. She's interviewing people from age of attraction. She has all that good stuff, like really good stuff on there. Me and her, we talk about Euphoria and The Boys, which is both their final seasons. Yeah. Then me and Raven from Bitch Is Better.

Speaker 2:
[115:25] Mainly Raven, you guys.

Speaker 3:
[115:26] Yes. Absolutely love her. Me, her and Sam sometimes or a trio sometimes, and we're just fucking bitches and it's so good. I'm going to drop an episode on YouTube where me and Raven specifically drag West the entire episode because he asked for it. He said that he wished that it was directed towards him. So make sure you go to youtube.com/therealbravo While Black, or obviously we can collab as well.

Speaker 2:
[115:51] Yeah, I think we'll collab on this. And by the way, it's like crazy. We've been posting these. It's so funny how these things work. Like Medea's has been taking bits of the show where we talk about Western Summer House and putting them up. And that is doing really well. And you're like, it's so funny because Kaya and me, we're out here all year round. Like, we're talking all year round. And then it's like this stuff, people are all of a sudden interested. And I get it. Like I get excited about talking about it too. But it is funny that things-

Speaker 3:
[116:19] I didn't do it during Sandoval though. I was talking about it a little bit.

Speaker 2:
[116:22] I was enraged.

Speaker 4:
[116:23] But a lot of people cashed in.

Speaker 3:
[116:25] Like they cashed in on Sandoval. And I'm like, well, I actually have something to offer to this because there's another layer. These people were friends. This happened to a black woman with a white man who submerses himself into black culture who didn't even text his black friend about this whole thing. Like I have something to say about this. As much as I just want to make it dragging men, I hate men and blah, blah, blah, white men, terrible and all this shit, it's really deeper than that. And I want people to understand where me, Raven, Taylor Crumpton, multiple black women are coming from and see the other side of it, especially when I read so much support for Amanda. It's like, what are you talking about?

Speaker 2:
[117:08] Yeah, I had three comments that were like, and I don't see all my comments and I don't look for them. So if it's there when I open it, I saw three in a row of like pro Amanda, where I, you know, and by the way, if you do that, like, and also these people didn't even follow me. So I just restricted them and deleted the comments. Because I'm not going to spend my day having to open my phone up and having people argue with this person. Take it somewhere else. It's not my page is not the place. You know, like if I see it, I'm going to restrict you and if you don't follow me, I'm never going to block you, but I will restrict you because I just don't have time and I don't want to open my phone and have that be negative. And then because for me, I see something negative. I start spinning out because that's just how I'm wired.

Speaker 3:
[117:47] Ruins the whole fucking day.

Speaker 2:
[117:48] I don't need it. I'm sure there's like a pro Amanda podcast out there. I don't know what it is, but go listen to that. Wait, okay.

Speaker 3:
[117:55] Can you please, okay, even if you don't, I know that there's a white woman listening to this that knows the inside of this Alex versus Alex Beef. Me and Ryan talked about this last week and the shit hasn't dropped yet. The only thing that dropped is that-

Speaker 6:
[118:06] Did you read that article?

Speaker 3:
[118:08] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[118:08] Ashley Carmen wrote a great article. Yeah.

Speaker 3:
[118:10] What is going on? What is the actual beef? I don't think that the shit is for promo. It can't be at this point. I know that there's a white girl out there. DM me. I will not tell anyone. I promise you. I know so much shit about so many people that can ruin their lives, and I have not said a word. I would be much bigger if I was messy. I promise you.

Speaker 2:
[118:31] I know. I know you always think that. You're like, God, if I didn't try to spare people's feelings and hold on. I've kept a lot of secrets over the years for people, and or found out things and all that stuff. And also, you just don't want to live in that, but it's funny. It's interesting.

Speaker 3:
[118:49] But then what makes it better is that people feel comfortable to come to you with these things, and it's like good gossip, and it's good to know that people feel comfortable telling you these things.

Speaker 2:
[118:59] Yeah, but I feel bad. I don't check my DMs. I don't go through all my DMs. And so I did open, this was like six months ago, I opened it as something, and it was like six months prior, and it was like a good piece of information, and I was like, so sorry, just seeing this, you know, and it was like, okay, that did not, you know, so anyways, but give Kaya will read all that stuff, so send it all her way. And yeah, go follow Kaya, go support the podcast, five star reviews everywhere, listen to the Smith sisters on Sirius XM radio, Andy channel 102. We're proud of Kaya. She's, she's killing it. Sorry about the language. And go support her vlogging journey, whatever that may be. And we'll talk to you next week, Kaya.

Speaker 3:
[119:40] Thank you. Love you.

Speaker 2:
[119:41] Bye.
