Speaker 1:
[00:35] Welcome back, Happy Top of the Week. We are recording this on one of the Lord's Days.
Speaker 2:
[00:43] Yes.
Speaker 1:
[00:44] This of the 20th of April.
Speaker 2:
[00:45] The burning bush.
Speaker 1:
[00:47] It's exactly what they're referring to.
Speaker 2:
[00:48] Yes. That's exactly what they... Y'all laughing, but I'm...
Speaker 1:
[00:52] April 20th. I'm sure that's probably what they were...
Speaker 2:
[00:55] It was the burning bush. Yes.
Speaker 1:
[00:58] This is the bush right here?
Speaker 2:
[00:59] There you go. There you go. The burning bush. Happy 420, Rory.
Speaker 1:
[01:05] Happy 420.
Speaker 2:
[01:06] Yes.
Speaker 1:
[01:06] You don't celebrate anymore, though.
Speaker 2:
[01:08] I mean, I celebrate. I don't partake. Oh my God. But I celebrate. Yes. Oh, man. This is it. This is the feeling I miss, Baby D. I used to be in a crib and it looked like this.
Speaker 1:
[01:17] You smoke, man.
Speaker 3:
[01:18] Oh, yes.
Speaker 2:
[01:20] So much fun. Can you see me?
Speaker 1:
[01:23] I don't think they can see.
Speaker 2:
[01:24] Baby D, can you see me? What am I doing?
Speaker 4:
[01:25] What the fuck was that? Don't do it again. I wish I didn't see you.
Speaker 1:
[01:29] Pass it.
Speaker 2:
[01:29] I thought you could see me.
Speaker 4:
[01:30] I was so stiff.
Speaker 2:
[01:32] Can you see me?
Speaker 1:
[01:33] Because he's hot.
Speaker 4:
[01:34] I can see you, unfortunately.
Speaker 1:
[01:35] Is this your first 420 in how many years since you haven't smoked?
Speaker 2:
[01:41] I was probably like the last probably 12 years.
Speaker 1:
[01:48] Geez. So this is like a big day for you. We should mourn.
Speaker 2:
[01:51] Why?
Speaker 1:
[01:52] Everybody grieves different. Talk to us. It's okay. Let your feelings out. It's the first 420 without your partner.
Speaker 2:
[01:58] And about 12 without my partner is hilarious. Yes. My first smoke free 420 in probably 12, 13 years. Yes.
Speaker 1:
[02:07] Okay. Well, any day regular. You're not one of those like weed smokers that sets aside that day.
Speaker 2:
[02:13] No.
Speaker 1:
[02:13] You smoked the same amount as it.
Speaker 2:
[02:16] It's the same day for me.
Speaker 1:
[02:17] Yeah. How many years ago when we were in the park and then we did that pop up?
Speaker 2:
[02:22] Four years ago.
Speaker 1:
[02:22] Four years ago.
Speaker 2:
[02:23] 22 years.
Speaker 1:
[02:25] That was the MAL Sprinter days. Remember the MAL Sprinter days?
Speaker 2:
[02:27] 22, 23, maybe 23.
Speaker 4:
[02:28] It might have been three years. MAL Sprinter days were fun.
Speaker 1:
[02:31] I love the MAL Sprinter days. You couldn't catch MAL in the city without a Sprinter.
Speaker 2:
[02:34] Yo, all right, man.
Speaker 1:
[02:35] Even if he was walking, the Sprinter was just driving slowly next to him.
Speaker 2:
[02:40] Don't do that. Don't try to paint me as that guy. No.
Speaker 1:
[02:43] I'm finding out MAL just taking dolo trips to Philly in the Sprinter. Not even to stop. Just circling around going back up 95.
Speaker 2:
[02:49] Nah, I went to go see, what was it? Snow, Snow Laker. Yeah, I went to the Snow Show.
Speaker 1:
[02:54] No, the Sprinter days were fun.
Speaker 2:
[02:55] Yeah, man.
Speaker 1:
[02:56] That was a good deal. Is he still around?
Speaker 2:
[02:58] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[02:59] That's just like cheaper than like a black Uber. When I found out the rate you were getting, I was like, now I understand why you do laundry in a Sprinter.
Speaker 2:
[03:06] Yeah, that was for me. That ain't everybody's price, but that was my number. That was my guy.
Speaker 1:
[03:11] Yeah. It's just always fun to open a Sprinter door. It's just one person in there.
Speaker 2:
[03:15] Yeah, man.
Speaker 1:
[03:15] Mad, empty seats.
Speaker 2:
[03:17] Sometimes you just need space, right, Baby D? Baby D know how I go. Just need space. Let's just go for a ride, go get something to eat. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's good to do that sometimes, get out and just enjoy, you know, just being chauffeured around New York City.
Speaker 1:
[03:29] Oh, that got us banned from Shady Records forever, I believe, 420. Because do we interview Conway that day or is that OK? Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[03:37] No, no, no, no, no. That was the day we did the panel with Styles.
Speaker 1:
[03:41] Got you.
Speaker 2:
[03:42] Black. I forgot his name. My damn, his name slips my mind. But yeah, that was a good panel, good discussion about 420 and just the cannabis industry and things like that at the Soho House, right? Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[03:57] So that was fun. That was probably the last time I did anything for 420. Not that I ever did before, but yeah.
Speaker 2:
[04:03] I mean, I was in the park.
Speaker 1:
[04:05] Yeah, we had a good time amongst the folks.
Speaker 2:
[04:07] Are they out there today going crazy? You know that. We should do a drive-by later on.
Speaker 1:
[04:12] I'm down.
Speaker 2:
[04:13] Just to go see.
Speaker 1:
[04:14] Yeah, we could walk over there.
Speaker 2:
[04:15] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[04:16] Get the Sprinter.
Speaker 2:
[04:17] At 420. If we're done recording, we could probably run over there.
Speaker 1:
[04:21] But how was your weekend? I'll keep it short. Mine was nothing. So floor is yours.
Speaker 2:
[04:27] I went to the movies. I told you I've been going to the movies.
Speaker 1:
[04:30] In the Sprinter?
Speaker 2:
[04:30] Well, no, not in the Sprinter. I've been going to the movies and just watching movies like it's cool. And I went in because I was by myself. So the manager that was at the front, she was like, do you have a ticket? I was like, no, I'm going to just buy one now. And then I was just like, no, just talking shit, how I do small talk, how you like to say I'm the king of small talk. So I was like, yo, what's up? Let me get you a discount.
Speaker 1:
[04:51] Seniors.
Speaker 2:
[04:51] And she was like, you know what? Just because you asked, no problem.
Speaker 1:
[04:57] The lonely discount?
Speaker 2:
[04:59] No, well, that's what it probably was, the lonely discount. Yeah, she gave me a free ticket.
Speaker 1:
[05:04] Oh, that's cool.
Speaker 2:
[05:04] To go see the movie. Yes, I went to go see You, Me and Tuscany with Halle Bailey.
Speaker 4:
[05:08] Oh, how was it? You went and seen a rom-com.
Speaker 1:
[05:11] Rom-com? That's depressing. Rom-com alone is kind of nuts.
Speaker 2:
[05:15] It was cool. It was a little, how could it have caught it on Prime?
Speaker 4:
[05:20] Don't do that. We uplift black art.
Speaker 2:
[05:24] Okay, it was the most incredible movie I've ever seen. I think Halle Bailey is going to be nominated for everything next year.
Speaker 1:
[05:30] So who's winning the breakup?
Speaker 2:
[05:32] With what?
Speaker 1:
[05:34] With her.
Speaker 2:
[05:35] Oh, she's up.
Speaker 1:
[05:35] She's up?
Speaker 2:
[05:36] She was the Little Mermaid. Listen, she was the Little Mermaid.
Speaker 1:
[05:39] It's a good follow up.
Speaker 2:
[05:40] Yeah, like she's up. But no, Halle Bailey, her acting is really good though. Like I really enjoy her as an actress. Like she does a good job. The story was cool. It was a nice romantic comedy type of thing. Little cheesy, but that's okay with rom-com sometime, I guess. But it was a good, honestly, it made me want to visit Tuscan, you know? Like it's beautiful. Like that's a beautiful, beautiful place. I don't know if it was really filmed there. It may have been like some part of California that just looks like it.
Speaker 1:
[06:07] Yeah, it's probably Catalina.
Speaker 2:
[06:08] Sometimes it's like, oh, Tuscan name was like filmed on location in California.
Speaker 1:
[06:12] No, or Vancouver where they did it.
Speaker 2:
[06:14] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[06:14] How did they turn Vancouver into this?
Speaker 4:
[06:15] They film everything.
Speaker 2:
[06:17] But it looked like it was actually in Italy though. They did look like they were in Italy.
Speaker 1:
[06:21] When I found out they shot Paid in Full in Toronto, that blew my mind. It looked exactly like Harlem in every scene.
Speaker 2:
[06:27] Well, certain scenes was actually Harlem.
Speaker 1:
[06:29] Okay, got you. I thought it was all in Toronto.
Speaker 2:
[06:31] No, no, no. Hell, no.
Speaker 1:
[06:32] I've never been to that part of Toronto. It looks identical to 145th Street. But Damaris, I live vicariously through your IG story. You were outside, outside.
Speaker 2:
[06:42] Baby D was in them streets. Yo, Baby D, I ain't gonna lie. I ain't gonna lie. I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker 1:
[06:46] I got a bone to pick.
Speaker 2:
[06:47] I got a bone to pick with you. You don't got no bone. You be acting like you don't be outside and I'm sick of your shit. I'm sick of it. I'm just letting you know, I'm here to say I'm sick of it. You be outside and you be acting like you inside.
Speaker 1:
[07:01] And because she shoots it on film, it's more tasteful.
Speaker 4:
[07:05] I have my outside moments. Sure. I had a very outside week, but I told y'all it was the nicest week in New York. It was going to be 70, 80 all week. So yeah, I was definitely outside all week last week. But to let you know, after I left work, I went home, cleaned, whatever. I ended up going to Mira. Remember you recommended Mira to me before? Remember Mira, the hookah law?
Speaker 2:
[07:26] Yes.
Speaker 4:
[07:26] Okay. I went to Mira.
Speaker 2:
[07:28] I recommended that three months ago.
Speaker 1:
[07:30] Mira, Mira.
Speaker 4:
[07:30] Okay. I had never got a chance to go. If I was so outside, I would have been there. You see how?
Speaker 1:
[07:34] You see? Well, no, it was like your Netflix queue. You had to get to it. You had so much stuff to watch before.
Speaker 2:
[07:39] Yeah, that was like-
Speaker 4:
[07:41] Mira's a hookah-
Speaker 1:
[07:41] Finally got around to it.
Speaker 4:
[07:42] Mira's a hookah lounge that is open late. I went there around 1 a.m. and got some food.
Speaker 1:
[07:47] That's outside.
Speaker 4:
[07:48] Yeah, but it's not outside outside because I wasn't, like I went there and got some food and some hookah and went home. Like it wasn't like, I was there for like an hour. It's just, they had a DJ-ish, it's weird going out to dinner at 1 a.m. You heard music and you were just like, I can't go home now.
Speaker 2:
[08:02] They playing my shit.
Speaker 4:
[08:03] No, it wasn't even like that. I just didn't know it would be like a DJ. I'm like, why is there a DJ at 1 a.m. and I'm eating lamb chops? Like it was weird.
Speaker 1:
[08:10] So New York City.
Speaker 3:
[08:11] Yeah.
Speaker 4:
[08:12] Lamb chops at 1 a.m. It was like, no, but it was like a sit down dinner. It wasn't like how you go to a bar and you just order food. It was like you go in, you sit down. Like it wasn't people around dancing.
Speaker 1:
[08:23] Pergola is like that. You sit down and eat and there's a DJ.
Speaker 4:
[08:25] Nah, but Pergola don't close at 4 a.m. What does it close at 6? No, Pergola closes at 2.
Speaker 1:
[08:32] Okay.
Speaker 4:
[08:32] Yeah. Like, so it wasn't, it was just really, I don't know, but I went, I had fun. It was good. Like it was cool.
Speaker 2:
[08:38] Are you at that age at Baby D if you out eating, having dinner and it's like, they playing music is too loud.
Speaker 4:
[08:43] It's too loud. You know, we already go home. I was like, he started-
Speaker 2:
[08:46] It can be too loud if I'm trying to eat.
Speaker 4:
[08:48] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[08:48] I'm sorry. I can't like eat and like hear Night Dreams and Nightmares like at the same time. I just can't do it.
Speaker 1:
[08:54] I just don't see the point of it.
Speaker 2:
[08:55] Yeah. Like it's too loud. Now you can play-
Speaker 1:
[08:57] A meal you should enjoy with your friends so you can speak to each other.
Speaker 2:
[08:59] Yeah. It could be in the background. Like you kind of hear it like, okay, that's my shit right there. But if it's like week out of scream at the table to talk to each other, I don't, I can't eat it.
Speaker 1:
[09:07] I don't think that's an age thing. Cause even in my twenties, when I was outside, I hated that too. I think that's just a person thing. I don't think, yeah, no matter what age I've ever been blaring music while I'm trying to enjoy food with friends, I've never, never understood that.
Speaker 4:
[09:21] A lot of people like it. The next day I went and seen Moulin Rouge on Broadway with Megan Thee Stallion.
Speaker 2:
[09:27] Shout out to Megan Thee Stallion, man. Got to catch Megan. I heard she did a great job. How did she look, Baby D?
Speaker 4:
[09:32] She looked so amazing. Like I said, when I sent y'all the picture, my sister bought me tickets. That's right next to the side stage. So when she would walk off and on the stage, every scene, I was right here. Like I knew what she smelled. Like she smelled amazing, by the way. She looked amazing. She's even prettier in person, even thicker in person. That was amazing. That was great. The show also was amazing. The girl who played the main character, Satine, did an amazing job. She had an amazing voice. It was really, really good. I recommend everybody to go see it. And I'm not even a big Broadway person, but it was really good.
Speaker 1:
[10:02] What's that twerk air smell like?
Speaker 4:
[10:03] It was... You need help. You need help.
Speaker 1:
[10:07] I need help?
Speaker 2:
[10:08] You need answers too though.
Speaker 1:
[10:11] I wouldn't need help if I had an answer.
Speaker 2:
[10:12] Yeah, you want the answer. Cause I want the answer too. Nah, remember when we did the... Cause you bought a Meg. Shout out to Meg. Remember when we did the Mike Tyson podcast? Yeah. So we had a moment when we wasn't recording. And you know, I'm still like, you know, this is Mike Tyson. My first time meeting Mike. So Mike came up to us. I'm thinking like, damn, I'm about to have one-on-one. Cause Mike came, he's like, let me ask you something. I'm thinking Mike about to get... I'm like, okay, me and Mike about to have a one-way in the corner. I'm thinking like Mike want to holler at me real quick. I'm like, okay. Yo, let me ask you something, man. I said, what's up? He said, you met Meg Thee Stallion, yeah? I said, nah, Mike. He said, I want to meet Thee Stallion. I said, Mike, I'm sure you can meet Meg Thee Stallion. He said, Thee Stallion, I like her. I was like, okay, that's what I like.
Speaker 1:
[10:57] I love that he made it like a secret meeting.
Speaker 2:
[10:58] Yeah, like he pulled it. I'm thinking like Mike about to get you...
Speaker 1:
[11:01] Chilled you out the pack, like he knows Thee Stallion.
Speaker 2:
[11:02] Yeah, I'm thinking Mike about to tell me, yeah, I really bit that nigga. Like, I don't know what the... I didn't think he was gonna go...
Speaker 1:
[11:07] Why the would he tell you that?
Speaker 2:
[11:08] I didn't think he was gonna go to, yo, you met Meg Thee Stallion yet. I was like, nah, Mike, I never met Meg Thee Stallion.
Speaker 4:
[11:13] Nah, she was perfect. She waved at me like, oh, it was great. It was great. And like she waved at me. You know how people wave at the crowd, like you think he talk... No, she really waved at me. So that was...
Speaker 2:
[11:22] She waved at you and said, what? What'd she say?
Speaker 4:
[11:24] She waved at me and started like, and you know, started hitting like the knee, the Meganese. Cause she was right on the side stage, like, and she waved at me. It was amazing.
Speaker 1:
[11:32] Like side stage, like only you could see her, but...
Speaker 4:
[11:34] Everyone could see her, but she was standing in front of me because I was standing, I was sitting in front of the stage. You had front row? Yeah. I sent you the picture. Yeah. Don't pay me no attention. But anyway, yeah, I left there and went to Lavender Room with my home girl, got some wings. Then we left there, stopped by my house, changed clothes and then we went to Starlet's. And I can't believe it.
Speaker 2:
[11:54] Oh, that's a lot of...
Speaker 1:
[11:55] I don't be outside. That's what she just said.
Speaker 2:
[11:56] That's a lot of one night.
Speaker 4:
[11:58] That was a lot of one night.
Speaker 2:
[11:59] She went to Moulin Rouge. Then she went to Lavender.
Speaker 1:
[12:02] The matinee.
Speaker 2:
[12:03] Yeah. Then went to Lavender room for wings, went home.
Speaker 1:
[12:07] Little bird bath.
Speaker 2:
[12:08] Change. Because you know the butt was wet after seeing Meg twerk. For sure. Her butt was wet.
Speaker 1:
[12:13] She was sitting in her juice.
Speaker 2:
[12:14] Wet butt. Can't have wet butt all night. That's nasty. So, let me go home, wash the butt, dry it. Starlet's. Baby D, you be outside, man. Don't come in here with this...
Speaker 4:
[12:24] I have really outside moments.
Speaker 2:
[12:25] I don't want to hear that. Don't give me your outside moments. Don't give me, it was 75 degrees in the city. I don't want to hear none of that shit. You be outside.
Speaker 1:
[12:33] Outside moments. That's like a serial killer. Like, I have murderous moments.
Speaker 2:
[12:36] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:
[12:37] But like...
Speaker 2:
[12:38] Yeah, I have killing moments. That doesn't define me as a person, though.
Speaker 4:
[12:42] In order to be a serial killer or a mass murderer, there's criteria you must make. You can't murder...
Speaker 1:
[12:47] I think Lavender Room, Moulin Rouge, Starlet's...
Speaker 3:
[12:49] You a mass twerker.
Speaker 1:
[12:51] You're the Jeffrey Dahmer about something.
Speaker 2:
[12:52] Yeah, you're the Ted Bundy of twerking.
Speaker 4:
[12:58] Okay.
Speaker 2:
[12:58] That's what you do.
Speaker 4:
[12:59] Okay, cool.
Speaker 2:
[13:02] Anytime we see Baby D, she's going to be somewhere twerking. No, I was in the house. Please, once I go home and take my makeup off, I'm in the house. I'm not going nowhere.
Speaker 4:
[13:10] But see, that's why whenever you hear about my nights, it be one spot, two spot, three spots, four. Because on the times where I don't have no makeup on, I'm not leaving my crib. Like, I'm not doing that.
Speaker 2:
[13:19] Yeah, but you went home after being out.
Speaker 4:
[13:22] To drop some wings off at my house and then I left out.
Speaker 2:
[13:24] To drop the wings off.
Speaker 4:
[13:25] I took wings home from lavender room.
Speaker 2:
[13:26] You could have took the wings to Starlet.
Speaker 1:
[13:28] Yeah, they would have let you in.
Speaker 2:
[13:29] They would have let you in with the wings?
Speaker 4:
[13:30] That's great.
Speaker 2:
[13:31] You think wings ain't making get in there with the gun?
Speaker 1:
[13:35] Allegedly.
Speaker 2:
[13:36] You think the wings ain't making it past security? Like, get in there with the whole ration.
Speaker 1:
[13:42] The wand's not even getting the snuff.
Speaker 4:
[13:44] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[13:45] You took the wings off things and like, oh, nah, we ain't doing wings in here tonight. You could have got right at Starlet's with them wings, Baby D.
Speaker 4:
[13:50] Yeah, but I'd have had to pay extra.
Speaker 2:
[13:52] You wouldn't have to pay extra for some wings? Nah, probably would have had to share, but-
Speaker 1:
[13:56] You went to Mirror Mirror on the Wall after Starlet's, or that was a different-
Speaker 4:
[13:59] No, Mirror, I did that after a very long day of recording with y'all. I went home and then ended up at Mirror that night.
Speaker 2:
[14:06] Yo, she went home after work, then came back outside, went to Mirror. And you know that it ain't just in that Mirror.
Speaker 1:
[14:14] Of course not.
Speaker 4:
[14:14] Yes, we did. It's 2.30 in the morning. Where else you going?
Speaker 2:
[14:19] You went to Starlet, what time you at Starlet's?
Speaker 4:
[14:21] 2.00 in the morning. You mean when it opens?
Speaker 2:
[14:25] I rest my case, y'all.
Speaker 4:
[14:26] Anyway, whatever. Anyway, I'm good for a while. It's cold in New York again.
Speaker 2:
[14:32] I'm good for a while. You going outside this week, the Marist country.
Speaker 4:
[14:36] It's cold as fuck in New York City.
Speaker 2:
[14:38] What that mean? You was outside when it was winter time?
Speaker 1:
[14:42] Don't let Cardi B down. I always don't get cold.
Speaker 2:
[14:44] But I do got to go see Moulin Rouge though. Yes, you do.
Speaker 4:
[14:47] You would enjoy it. It's long though.
Speaker 2:
[14:49] No, but how long is Meg in it though?
Speaker 4:
[14:51] May 24th or something.
Speaker 2:
[14:53] It's the last show?
Speaker 4:
[14:54] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[14:54] Oh yeah, I got to go see that. I definitely got to go see that. I want to go see Meg. She did a good job.
Speaker 4:
[14:58] Definitely take a nice lady who's a fan of like, you know, musicals and Meg. I think she would enjoy it.
Speaker 2:
[15:04] I don't know if I have any of those on my roster. I don't know if I have any women that like music.
Speaker 4:
[15:11] say anything.
Speaker 2:
[15:11] I don't know if I have any lady friends that like-
Speaker 1:
[15:15] Fine arts and that's a good balance though.
Speaker 2:
[15:17] Yeah, great balance.
Speaker 1:
[15:18] I mean, I'm not going to go see it, but I think it's-
Speaker 2:
[15:19] You're not going to go see it?
Speaker 1:
[15:21] I only have so much time for certain things. That's a little-
Speaker 2:
[15:23] Schedule slammed.
Speaker 1:
[15:26] I have to pick my and choose like my free time. As much as I think it's great, Meg is doing that. That's not high. Like a nap.
Speaker 2:
[15:33] That's not on a higher. Okay. Got you.
Speaker 4:
[15:35] Now, if you like men, if you like, if you have a woman who likes musicals and likes Megan, I will take her. Tickets are not that expensive.
Speaker 2:
[15:44] All right. Cool. Yeah. I'm definitely going to check it out because I've been wanting to. So now that you've actually seen it and experienced it, I do want to see it. So shout out to Meg, though. I heard she did. I heard she's doing a great job. Obviously, Demaris agrees as well.
Speaker 1:
[15:55] So Saturday, I'm going to Vashity's Kids Dance Party with Amara.
Speaker 2:
[16:00] Vashity's Kids Dance Party.
Speaker 1:
[16:01] Yeah, Vashity does these events Saturday mornings for like people with kids. Like she DJs, Mick is DJing as well.
Speaker 2:
[16:07] Okay.
Speaker 1:
[16:08] So it's like a good blend for a parent to take a kid. Yeah, it's like a kid's dance.
Speaker 2:
[16:12] Is there any single moms there?
Speaker 1:
[16:13] I mean, in abundance.
Speaker 2:
[16:15] Oh, I can go clean up. Like, that's like shooting, shooting, grabbing a barrel.
Speaker 1:
[16:20] I can tell Kia that Uncle Mal is going to her place.
Speaker 2:
[16:22] Oh, yeah, man. I'm going. I'm there. I'm in the building. Single moms in the building? Oh, man. I love when single moms get to go out and dance.
Speaker 1:
[16:27] But it's a cool crowd, too. Like Mellow X has DJed before. It's if you have kids in New York, I would definitely look into Vashity's Kids Dance Party.
Speaker 2:
[16:35] That's right. Shout out to Vashity.
Speaker 1:
[16:36] As a parent, you enjoy and your kids have a blast.
Speaker 4:
[16:39] It's called Apparently Kidding.
Speaker 2:
[16:40] Yeah. Shout out to Vashity. Vashity always got some cool shit going on.
Speaker 1:
[16:43] Even when she had a kid, she's still the coolest one in the room.
Speaker 2:
[16:46] She's still being cool. You know what I'm saying? Doing dope shit in the culture.
Speaker 1:
[16:49] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[16:50] Throwing some fly shit on. Shout out to Vashity.
Speaker 4:
[16:52] 11 a.m. is whoa.
Speaker 2:
[16:54] Nah, she found a loophole.
Speaker 1:
[16:55] 11 a.m. She's been up since 6.30.
Speaker 2:
[16:58] Yeah, she's been up since 6.30 with the kids. 11 is like, we're about to start winding down at 2 o'clock.
Speaker 4:
[17:05] Yeah, it's from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Yeah, that's perfect.
Speaker 1:
[17:08] And then I think there's one like 2 to 4, but...
Speaker 2:
[17:11] Nah, that might be my jam. 11 to 1?
Speaker 4:
[17:12] There's a 1.30 to 3.30.
Speaker 1:
[17:14] Yeah, but MAL, you have to like, this is one of those events you have to come with me. Like if you just go... You look crazy.
Speaker 2:
[17:21] With no kid, right?
Speaker 4:
[17:22] You look crazy.
Speaker 1:
[17:23] So which one's yours?
Speaker 2:
[17:25] I'm just here.
Speaker 1:
[17:25] I'm just here.
Speaker 2:
[17:26] I'm just here for the vibe. I'm here for the vibe. You know how crazy you showed up to a kid's party with no kid? Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[17:33] Just make sure like you'll be my plus one.
Speaker 2:
[17:35] Yeah. No, I'm walking it with you, man. I'm walking it with you. That's it.
Speaker 1:
[17:38] That's my niece right there.
Speaker 2:
[17:39] Yeah. I'm walking. I'm cleaning up though. Single mom, I'm on a prowl.
Speaker 1:
[17:42] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[17:42] Love a single mom. Why? No, because they just great. They're strong, independent, focused.
Speaker 1:
[17:50] They don't have time to waste.
Speaker 2:
[17:51] Very organized. Yeah. They're very, listen, I picked the kid up at four, have dinner on by 630, kid down by 830. We could have a little pickle tickle at nine, and that's it. They're very single moms or they got their shit. You got to be ready. You got to be horny and hard at nine PM or you're going to miss that slot.
Speaker 1:
[18:09] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[18:10] You got to be ready. I love single moms.
Speaker 1:
[18:13] Yeah. And if you haven't gotten access to the house yet, she only has three hours a week.
Speaker 2:
[18:18] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[18:18] We're going to get food and we're going to fuck, and then I'm leaving because I got to go.
Speaker 2:
[18:21] That's it.
Speaker 1:
[18:22] It's right to it.
Speaker 2:
[18:24] Nothing like a single mom that's on top of her shit that's really like, oh, love it.
Speaker 1:
[18:28] And always has fruit snacks in her bag?
Speaker 4:
[18:30] Yeah. Putting the YNs on.
Speaker 2:
[18:32] No, the YNs don't want no single moms.
Speaker 1:
[18:35] They're creating the single moms. Should I have some? I'm sorry.
Speaker 4:
[18:39] I don't, he laughs.
Speaker 1:
[18:41] Maybe, maybe, I don't know. I don't know anymore. I meant that with good intent. Anyways, MAL, while you were at the movies, actually, you have to come to the front of the courtroom. We already established that Baby D is a serial outsider. But you may need to come to the front of the courtroom as a Bronx representative, a Bronx legend, a Bronx protector. While you were at a rom-com by yourself, you left Ice Spice Dolo in a McDonald's to fend for herself. You were not there to protect your Bronx sister. This is, to me, quite offensive for all of Uptown. You let Uptown down.
Speaker 2:
[19:19] Damn, man.
Speaker 1:
[19:20] You let Peter Guns down.
Speaker 2:
[19:21] I heard what happened to Ice Spice in McDonald's, man.
Speaker 1:
[19:25] On your watch. That was on your watch.
Speaker 2:
[19:26] Ice, man. I'm sorry. I should have been there for you. Anyway, that's my Bronx sister right there. I should have been there for Ice. But no, I heard she got into a little situation, a little incident at McDonald's. Where was this at, first of all?
Speaker 1:
[19:38] In LA.
Speaker 2:
[19:39] In LA?
Speaker 1:
[19:40] Los Angeles.
Speaker 2:
[19:41] Okay. I saw the clip.
Speaker 1:
[19:42] It looked like the West Forth McDonald's.
Speaker 2:
[19:45] Every McDonald's looks the same. I saw the clip. At first, I thought it was something that was staged and whatever. But because I'm like, Ice Spice and McDonald's. Then I started thinking, does Ice Spice have a meal coming out with McDonald's? Kid this be the rollout. You saw the sweetie meal, right?
Speaker 1:
[20:02] SpongeBob.
Speaker 2:
[20:03] Yeah. So I'm thinking, I know Ice Spice had a deal with, was it Dunkin Donuts at one point? She got a bag with Door Dash.
Speaker 1:
[20:09] Spice Latte.
Speaker 2:
[20:10] So I'm like, okay, maybe this is a new Ice Spice-McDonald's collab. Cool. But then I saw the video and I was like, oh, well, this is not staged. And then I started thinking, well, I'm glad that it was just a little fisticuffs. But then I saw like a full video, Ice Spice was outside in the street, like trying to really square up. And then I started saying, like, I don't know how safe that is for her to be doing that though. Cause Ice Spice is a, she's a celebrity. You know, you can't just be in the streets, no security. I think she was with a friend maybe. And then you're stepping outside to catch the fade with somebody. You know, we know how clout chasing this culture is now. You know, somebody outside decide they want to, you know, really hurt Ice Spice or do something to her. I just started thinking of all the ways that that could have went left. Now, Ice, obviously she don't care about none of that celebrity shit. She from the Bronx. Somebody run up on her, starting to crazy and swing on her. She going, all that shit goes out the window. Now it's like, what's up? Like, let me, if you want to fight, let's fight. But then you got to be careful with these clout chasers that are trying to really do something to hurt you. And then we sitting here watching an unfortunate situation involving Ice Spice and then, you know, things can go left. So I'm glad that she's safe. Let's start there. Glad that she's safe.
Speaker 1:
[21:25] A lot of men outside too, once they squared up.
Speaker 4:
[21:28] Yeah, some dude was trying to square up with her.
Speaker 1:
[21:29] I feel like it got a little unnecessary.
Speaker 4:
[21:32] I could see her as somebody who, I could see her going through this shit in her head. Like when you fight, when your caution is kicking in, like I am in a foreign city, LA of all places, I am by myself, I'm not with my security. However, I'm also not pussy. So like when the girl was walking up to her and she was arguing with her, you could literally see Ice Spice struggling with the thing. Like, I don't know who this girl got with her. I know the person I'm with is probably pussy. Like, I don't know how to handle this. And then, but once that girl hit her and that shit just start kicking in, it's like, no, I don't care. At this point, if something happened, happened, like you're not doing that to me. Like I'm not going out like that. I know that feeling.
Speaker 1:
[22:10] Throwing out of the building.
Speaker 2:
[22:11] But that's fucked up because Ice Spice obviously feels like, she's still humble enough to be outside, just sitting in the McDonald's with her home girl, like no security, like it, let's go McDonald's, get something to eat and just chill. And then probably go back to the crib, go to the studio, whatever she had going on that day. She didn't feel the need to be walking around with this entourage and security, trying to make it seem like, she's calling for attention to herself. She got a little sweatsuit on, in the back of McDonald's, her and the girl sitting at the table just minding their business. But unfortunately, this era of clout chasing, where the girl in that video was obviously trying to go viral.
Speaker 1:
[22:50] Well, she said she wasn't. She said she was just trying to say hi at first.
Speaker 2:
[22:54] She's lying. She was trying to go viral.
Speaker 4:
[22:55] Well, to be fair, there was no cameras. That girl didn't have her phone out, and there was no cameras recording that girl. The only camera angle I've seen is from the McDonald's camera.
Speaker 1:
[23:06] Yeah.
Speaker 4:
[23:06] It wasn't like that girl had her phone out, or somebody else was recording her walking up. No, nothing. She was by herself.
Speaker 2:
[23:14] OK, so what was the reason for her swinging to Ice Spice?
Speaker 1:
[23:16] She was saying Ice Spice was being rude to her.
Speaker 2:
[23:18] OK.
Speaker 1:
[23:20] Which I think if somebody tells you, hey, can you leave? I think you should respect her.
Speaker 2:
[23:24] That's not being rude.
Speaker 4:
[23:25] That's not being rude. No, I agree.
Speaker 2:
[23:27] Yeah, so she's cloud chasing. That's what that is. She's cloud chasing. We know what this is. Everybody want to go viral. Everybody want a moment. Everybody want to be on the stage. She was looking for that moment. And obviously she got it. It's viral. But the thing is, Ice Spice has to be careful.
Speaker 1:
[23:45] Hell yeah.
Speaker 2:
[23:45] She just has to be. I understand in her mind she wants to be humble and I don't need security. I can just go to McDonald's and get something to eat. No. Unfortunately, you can't do that. And we've seen what happens with rappers being in LA, things that happen. Unfortunately, you got to be careful. It just is what it is. Life is different for you now. You cannot be in McDonald's by yourself. You just can't do that.
Speaker 4:
[24:08] I get the, I'm an around-the-way girl. I'm from around the way. I'm cool. I'm chill. But you are no longer a regular person. You can't walk around like you're a regular person. And if you are going to walk around like you're a regular person, you need to know the places that you could do that in LA. That is number one at the bottom of that list. Like you cannot walk around like you're a normal person.
Speaker 1:
[24:26] I don't even care if you're in Hollywood, anywhere.
Speaker 4:
[24:28] Nowhere. You cannot.
Speaker 1:
[24:29] And even like Ice Spice.
Speaker 2:
[24:30] It's unfortunate, but it's true.
Speaker 1:
[24:32] She also has a very unique look. Outside of her being a very high profile celebrity, not a lot of celebrities look like. She's easily recognizable. Like even Kendrick, who's a fucking superstar, can throw on a bucket hat, sunglasses, put a little bandana here and walk around Disneyland and just blend in. Ice Spice has a very specific look. You're not walking in McDonald's and not seeing Ice Spice. Like that's Ice Spice. So even with that, you have to be extra precautious because it's never going to be like, is that Ice Spice? No, that's Ice Spice. You need to have security there at all times. I mean, I respect her defending herself, but I do think it's a dangerous game where only she loses. Even if she wins that fight, there's no winning in that year. They're going to get sued, hurt. And it's fucked up. If you're sitting there, just minding your business, you should be able to just eat your food. But that's just not how the world works. You should be able to just sit in the back table of McDonald's and eat with your own girl.
Speaker 2:
[25:27] Everybody's a clout chaser. Everybody want a moment. And you can't let them have their moment with you. So, the thing is, Ice got to keep that spice on her. Keep that pepper spray on you. Yeah, if you want to go out and just chill and just, you know.
Speaker 1:
[25:41] I think regardless.
Speaker 2:
[25:42] Keep that pepper spray on you. People like that act up. You know what I mean? Just give them a little bonaka to the face. Spray them down real quick, back up. Get in your car and leave.
Speaker 4:
[25:52] That's tough. Honestly, and that girl, like even, you don't know if Ice Spice's security was in the bathroom or something, some shit going on. If that would have happened and that security would have blew your fucking head off, now you dead for no reason. And they would have been in the right. Like you can't. What is wrong with that?
Speaker 1:
[26:06] When I watched the video for the first time, like just that beginning, not even when the outside stuff had leaked, I was waiting during the video. I was like, I wonder when the Navy SEALs are gonna like.
Speaker 4:
[26:14] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[26:15] I figured Ice Spice just didn't want them sitting with her and her homegirl was probably maybe having a private conversation and they were just placed in McDonald's. I was waiting for them to come and then nothing happened. I was like, whoa, what the is this girl doing?
Speaker 4:
[26:25] Or Ice Spice could have stabbed her in her fucking throat. That too. Like more people need to die. Like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. People who act like that, more people need to die. I'm dead ass. I don't care if that's a family member. I don't care about more people need to have their fucking neck slit. Yes. I'm dead ass.
Speaker 1:
[26:41] Yes.
Speaker 4:
[26:42] Like that shit is ridiculous.
Speaker 1:
[26:43] We can all just respect each other's backs.
Speaker 2:
[26:44] Baby D, let's go purge.
Speaker 4:
[26:47] Put these down like dogs, like in the street. Like you acting unusual, you fucking with people for no reason. Like more people need to lose their loved ones so people can learn from other people mistakes. I'm dead ass. I'm dead serious.
Speaker 1:
[26:57] But a lot of times people just don't learn from it. They just mourn it and keep with the same baby.
Speaker 4:
[27:02] Oh, well.
Speaker 2:
[27:03] Well, I'm glad Ice Spice is okay.
Speaker 4:
[27:05] Yes, I am.
Speaker 2:
[27:05] I'm glad she's safe. And Ice, please stay out of McDonald's and Wendy's and wherever else by yourself. People are here cloud chasing, looking for a moment and, you know, we don't want anything to happen to you. So please be safe. Be careful.
Speaker 1:
[27:18] I mean, Ebro said the shit was staged.
Speaker 2:
[27:20] Who?
Speaker 1:
[27:21] Ebro said it was staged, part of a rollout to keep her high, whatever. I rewatched it even after he said it. I was like, maybe there's something, maybe I didn't see all the footage. Nothing about this looks staged. Ebro said this kind of what made me feel like this might be promo. Y'all know I'll be looking for promo. Ice Spice needs promo right now. I feel like it was wrestling. I don't know. I don't see what he sees.
Speaker 4:
[27:44] If it was wrestling, first of all, in the beginning of the video, Ice Spice would have stood up immediately. That's the whole time I was watching the video and that girl got Ice Spice face and Ice Spice was still sitting down. I was screaming at the phone, girl, if you don't stand the fuck up, you from the Bronx, you know what the fuck is about to happen. Stand up. Ice Spice would have stood up and she would have whooped that girl ass if this was staged. Nobody's staging just to get into a little kerfuffle. She would have that girl up if it was wrestling. That was not staged.
Speaker 1:
[28:08] I don't know, low center of gravity, maybe it was better she was sitting.
Speaker 4:
[28:11] No.
Speaker 1:
[28:12] Because you stand up and you're in the booth, your balance is off, your legs are weird.
Speaker 4:
[28:16] Once somebody is standing up and leaning over you, like where you from, you need to stand up immediately.
Speaker 2:
[28:21] Yeah, you can't know where you're standing.
Speaker 1:
[28:22] And don't say you're a fan of me and then ask me where I'm from.
Speaker 4:
[28:25] That's the LA thing.
Speaker 1:
[28:26] No, I know where it is.
Speaker 2:
[28:27] She was cloud chasing, man. That girl was cloud chasing. She knew exactly who Ice Spice was. Of course not. She went over there looking for an issue and she was trying to go viral. That's all it was. She's one of those young, stupid girls looking for attention. It happens. But it wasn't Stazed, either.
Speaker 1:
[28:42] No, I don't think so either. And again, I'm sure at the Vashjy party, that Spongebob song is going to go crazy at that Vashjy party. I don't know if Ice Spice is begging for promo in this capacity.
Speaker 2:
[28:56] No.
Speaker 1:
[28:57] Like at all.
Speaker 2:
[28:58] If Ice Spice wants promo, she can just call Taylor and just go to a game. They can go hang out. Taylor can go hang out somewhere.
Speaker 1:
[29:05] It's spring ball right now.
Speaker 2:
[29:06] So maybe they're going to go to a playoff game, watching some hoops or something.
Speaker 1:
[29:11] That's her intelligence.
Speaker 2:
[29:12] That's it. Just go hang out with Taylor for the day. That's it. You lit.
Speaker 4:
[29:15] I meant to remember the conversation that we had about Speedy and your girl being a fan of somebody.
Speaker 2:
[29:20] Yeah.
Speaker 4:
[29:20] Well, there's something that's currently going viral right now. Billie Eilish was a little kid.
Speaker 2:
[29:26] Big t-shirt. Billie. I'm sorry.
Speaker 4:
[29:30] When Billie Eilish was a kid, she was a huge fan of Justin Bieber. And she has a video that went viral or whatever, obviously after she was famous where she was just like, I don't think I'll ever be able to be married because I'll never love my husband as much as I love Justin Bieber. She had to be like seven when she was saying this. So eventually she met Justin Bieber, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But this year at Coachella, when Justin was performing, she was with her either fiance or husband, she was with Hailey Bieber watching Justin, and her husband and Justin's wife pushed her on stage to go up there, so he could sing One Less Lonely Girl to her. So she hopped over the barrier and went up there and he was serenading her. That made me think about, see, your wife can be a fan of somebody. That's sweet.
Speaker 2:
[30:11] Yeah, but see, the difference is this. Billie Eilish is a celebrity as well, and this was just her crush as a little girl. Then Justin Bieber's wife was there, and it was all just a moment of just trying to embarrass and watch Billie Blush and things like that. It wasn't like a serious thing. It was a playful, her and Justin have probably hung out on personal time. No, they have, for sure. Yeah, so it was just a little playful moment.
Speaker 4:
[30:36] So that's the difference here. If your wife had a crush on-
Speaker 2:
[30:38] Homie and Coachella with his girl Speedy, they ain't never hung out with Speedy. Them never hung out before. That was her first time meeting Speedy. That's his first time finding out who Speedy was. This is a whole different, you know what I mean, scenario. Yes, Billie Eilish grew up as a fan of Justin Bieber and had a crush on him or whatever. Now, they're peers and probably met a bunch of times and hung out. The situation is a little different, but yes, I get what you're saying. Yes, it's good to be a fan of somebody, but this is just a different capacity. Because Billie Eilish is obviously a huge celebrity as well, but this was her crush in her fandom moment growing up, that's all.
Speaker 1:
[31:14] No, I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
Speaker 2:
[31:16] There's nothing wrong with having a crush on somebody and being a fan. There's nothing wrong with it. I just think that if you're in a relationship and you happen to see the person you're a fan of while you're out with your significant other, it's just a way you do things. That's all, just a way you go about it.
Speaker 1:
[31:32] Twitter was asking since Justin was bringing up all his old YouTube videos and stuff that he liked, why he didn't bring up the YouTube video of his remix to that specific song.
Speaker 2:
[31:44] That song?
Speaker 1:
[31:44] Why didn't he bring it? Oh, you just YouTube right now. The same computer he was using, Youka YouTube. If we're going to go through memory lane.
Speaker 2:
[31:52] He should have performed that at Coachella. Why he didn't perform that song at Coachella?
Speaker 1:
[31:55] To her?
Speaker 2:
[31:55] Yeah. Oh man. Gotta love it. Gotta love it.
Speaker 1:
[32:02] What would the world do if Justin in a, like humbly brought that up, but just have terrible moments of his past that he regrets and doesn't believe. Like he just brought that video, edited version.
Speaker 2:
[32:14] What would he do?
Speaker 1:
[32:16] What would the world do? If he was trying to make a statement of how wrong he was, like his formal apology.
Speaker 2:
[32:21] Oh no, you can't. You gotta act like that. Leave that alone. Leave it where it's at. That ain't gonna happen.
Speaker 1:
[32:25] We never found out who was behind the camera laughing, right?
Speaker 2:
[32:28] We knew who was behind the camera.
Speaker 1:
[32:29] His mom?
Speaker 2:
[32:29] Yeah. That's who usually is behind the camera when you're young, right?
Speaker 1:
[32:33] Scooter.
Speaker 2:
[32:33] Recording. Scooter.
Speaker 1:
[32:35] Don't tell me Scooter wasn't in that video. Scooter probably owns the rights to that verse.
Speaker 2:
[32:40] Oh my God.

Speaker 1:
[33:26] Speaking of fake wrestling, I thought Cam, Jey Uso, I'm saying that correctly.
Speaker 2:
[33:32] Jey Uso.
Speaker 1:
[33:33] Not the biggest WWE fan. I thought that was a great-
Speaker 2:
[33:37] You said you were the biggest WWE fan?
Speaker 1:
[33:38] WWE fan. I'm not the biggest.
Speaker 2:
[33:40] Okay.
Speaker 1:
[33:41] Casual fan.
Speaker 2:
[33:41] Gotcha.
Speaker 1:
[33:42] I thought that was a cool way to interview a wrestler. Just get yoked out real quick.
Speaker 2:
[33:49] Broke my heart to see Cam doing that shit. I ain't gonna- Why? I don't see Cam wrestling, man.
Speaker 1:
[33:54] It would have been- I would have fell over my chair laughing if Trick Williams just body slammed you into one of our couches.
Speaker 2:
[34:01] Listen, first of all, congratulations to Trick Williams. Won the championship at WrestleMania. Shout out Trick Trick.
Speaker 1:
[34:10] And Trick.
Speaker 2:
[34:11] If- Well, Trick Williams. And if Trick Williams would have body slammed me through anything in the studio, Rory, I promise you, it would not have been staged. It would have been a fucking problem. After I got up out of my coma, Trick would have had to get the fuck out of town. I would have been outside WrestleMania with the homies for real.
Speaker 1:
[34:28] I mean, if Trick would have came in here with that idea, like, yo, it would be funny if after the interview, like, Rory, if I just fucking slam you through the chair. And I was like, we can assure my safety, right? I would do that as like a skit. That'd be funny. We were talking to him about going down to Orlando to do the wrestling camp.
Speaker 2:
[34:45] That's different.
Speaker 1:
[34:46] I know it's different, but I'm saying sketch-wise, I thought-
Speaker 2:
[34:49] You would have let Trick slam me through this wall?
Speaker 1:
[34:52] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[34:53] This love this podcast and shit, boy.
Speaker 4:
[34:55] slam me through that wall. This love this podcast and shit.
Speaker 1:
[34:58] It would be consensual.
Speaker 2:
[35:00] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[35:00] Well, first of all, if he wanted to, it'd be unconsensual. I'm just, I don't mean it that way. I just mean like, yeah, if we could, again, assure my safety, yeah, I would do that.
Speaker 2:
[35:10] Okay. Well, he know Trick is coming back. He gonna bring the belt back. All right.
Speaker 1:
[35:13] Well, we wanted to get rid of this desk that PeeJ is on anyways.
Speaker 4:
[35:16] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[35:16] I'm gonna just remind him that it's already falling apart. You're willing to get slammed through a desk. So don't be surprised when Trick pull up and he picks you up by your throat and slam you through the desk. That's all I'm saying. Don't look surprised.
Speaker 1:
[35:25] Well, no, he can't do the same. The bit is done now.
Speaker 2:
[35:27] No, it's not.
Speaker 1:
[35:28] We just keep recycling this.
Speaker 2:
[35:30] Yeah, man.
Speaker 1:
[35:30] It's like Letterman and the Velvet of War would just keep doing it.
Speaker 2:
[35:33] But yeah, I was surprised to see Cam agree to do that shit though.
Speaker 4:
[35:35] I think that's cool though. Coming from where Cam, like who he used to be and where he came from to see him do like cute, corny shit. Like, I don't know.
Speaker 2:
[35:43] Well, Cam is a great actor. Like, you know, we got to keep that in mind too. Cam is a very, very good actor. So, but just seeing Cam like get slammed up like that, I was just like, nah fam.
Speaker 1:
[35:55] Like, it's funny.
Speaker 2:
[35:56] I could see Zeke doing that.
Speaker 1:
[35:58] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[35:59] Zeke, I could see doing that. I could see Zeke being in the studio with him and Jey Uso getting into it. I didn't expect to see Cam get into it. Like if Jey Uso started slamming Mace, would that have not been like, yo, the most awkward shit?
Speaker 1:
[36:10] Yeah, it would have. But Mace isn't going to sell it the way Cam is. Freaky Zeke would be the best though. Zeke would have been... He dodged a bullet like this. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2:
[36:18] Zeke is animated. He's the character. Like you already know, like Zeke would have been, that would have been like on brand for me. Seeing Cam agree to that was shocking.
Speaker 1:
[36:26] That makes it better to me though.
Speaker 2:
[36:28] Cause it's unexpected.
Speaker 1:
[36:29] Yeah, and like everyone doesn't have to be so cool. Sometimes you just do some funny shit like that.
Speaker 2:
[36:33] No, I'm not mad at it, but I just wasn't...
Speaker 1:
[36:34] It was clearly fake. Like either the fake punch, it was all...
Speaker 2:
[36:37] But that was just a little like, come on, damn killer. Like you getting slammed up like that?
Speaker 1:
[36:44] I mean, when we were in Detroit, well none of that was fake. He was really body slamming us on that mat.
Speaker 2:
[36:50] Well, he was teaching us how to defend self.
Speaker 1:
[36:52] We went there to prove that everything he did was fake and found out very quickly that it wasn't.
Speaker 4:
[36:58] Tearing y'all asses up, boy.
Speaker 1:
[37:00] I have like scars on my hand from that. He like cut my hand at one point with the fake gun.
Speaker 2:
[37:05] That's because Rory was trying to prove him wrong, holding the gun all tight. And someone was like, Rory, just let him slam me, bro. You're doing that, your hand bleeding. Like, you're just doing too much. Like, you know, he got to do too much all the time. You can't take it. I'm like, Rory, just let it go.
Speaker 1:
[37:18] Well, he kept saying, yo, do that. He wanted to prove to the world that we weren't in on the gag.
Speaker 2:
[37:23] No, we weren't in on it.
Speaker 1:
[37:24] No, definitely not.
Speaker 2:
[37:25] But again, shout out to Trick Williams winning the championship at WrestleMania. It's a big look for him, man. Salute.
Speaker 1:
[37:33] I think Mace looked the worst in that whole thing. Like Mace didn't even get a lick in. Your man getting body slammed if it's real. And you just chilling?
Speaker 2:
[37:39] Mace ain't doing that.
Speaker 4:
[37:40] Mace ain't fucking up his suit.
Speaker 2:
[37:41] You ain't about to be slamming the pasta like that. You ain't doing that.
Speaker 1:
[37:45] Mace, damn, that's crazy over there.
Speaker 2:
[37:46] Yeah, pasta. That's crazy over there.
Speaker 1:
[37:49] That's Mace. That's crazy over there. Damn, Killer, you shouldn't have been doing that.
Speaker 4:
[37:54] Damn, Killer.
Speaker 2:
[37:55] That's crazy over there, what he doing to you right now. No, nigga, help me. It's crazy what he's doing to you over there.
Speaker 1:
[38:03] Did you watch Cam's response to Kanye?
Speaker 2:
[38:08] No.
Speaker 1:
[38:09] Well, let me back up to give some context. Cam has said that, for lack of a better term, he would not interview Kanye because he was sucking dick. He said it more of a Cam way, but that's joking around.
Speaker 2:
[38:23] Cam wouldn't interview Kanye because Kanye was sucking dick?
Speaker 1:
[38:27] Yeah, Kanye admitted that he sucked his cousin's dick.
Speaker 4:
[38:31] He was sexually assaulted by his cousin.
Speaker 1:
[38:33] So Cam had said that, and then Kanye replied, I think in some comment or whatever saying, Cam, you're not going to bully me, this and that. And Cam went on a rant saying, how are you mad at me for something you told the world? And correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know how molestation works, but your cousin was younger than you. I didn't know you could Benjamin Budden molestation. Cam brought up a lot of great points throughout the entire time.
Speaker 4:
[38:58] You can definitely be molested by somebody younger than you, but I hear you.
Speaker 1:
[39:02] Fair. But yeah, this back and forth has been pretty funny.
Speaker 2:
[39:05] You can be molested by somebody younger than you.
Speaker 4:
[39:07] Yes. When you're kids, yes. If you are both kids, yes. That's like saying you can't be raped by somebody younger than you. Yes, you can.
Speaker 1:
[39:16] Well, I think Cam was saying molestation usually, from the definition he knew growing up, it was an adult or someone older than you sexually assaulting you.
Speaker 4:
[39:24] No, you can be the same age, you could be younger.
Speaker 2:
[39:27] If I'm okay, because I feel like what Demare is saying is true. But if I'm, let's say 14, I don't think a 12-year-old could sexually assault me.
Speaker 4:
[39:40] If that 12-year-old is the one forcing sex upon you? Yes. Yes.
Speaker 2:
[39:45] I don't think so.
Speaker 1:
[39:46] Okay. I mean, I'm not going to give you the definition of everything. I just, Cam's response was funny.
Speaker 2:
[39:53] I'm just saying me, at 14, I don't think that a 12-year-old could have made me put his penis in my mouth.
Speaker 1:
[39:59] Okay.
Speaker 2:
[39:59] It just wouldn't happen. It didn't happen and it wouldn't happen. I'm just saying.
Speaker 1:
[40:03] We appreciate your bravery.
Speaker 2:
[40:05] I just get, I'm just like, I don't know. Younger, I guess the age, if you're maybe nine and seven or eight and six, maybe, but there wasn't Kanye a little older than that when this allegedly happened?
Speaker 1:
[40:21] Yes, Kanye was 14 and his cousin was, I think, two years younger than him.
Speaker 2:
[40:28] Freshman in high school, somebody in the seventh grade made me.
Speaker 1:
[40:33] People go through different puberty. I don't know.
Speaker 2:
[40:36] I just don't see.
Speaker 1:
[40:36] Maybe he's in the league.
Speaker 2:
[40:38] Just don't see it that way, but okay. Listen, everybody's story is their own. I'm not here to judge.
Speaker 1:
[40:42] But Kanye, I guess, called him and left a message and said, I'm, you're not going to bully me. I'm not your punching bag. You'll see when we see each other in person. Kanye wants to fight.
Speaker 2:
[40:52] Kanye wants to fight Cameron. Okay.
Speaker 4:
[40:56] I would hate to see that fight. If y'all don't sit y'all old asses down somewhere.
Speaker 1:
[41:01] They both not that old. 40s? You could still fight in your 40s.
Speaker 4:
[41:06] I don't want to see no 40-year-olds fight.
Speaker 2:
[41:08] Fighting in your 40s is crazy.
Speaker 4:
[41:10] I don't want to see you do this.
Speaker 2:
[41:11] You know how crazy it is to be scrapping in your 40s? What is y'all doing?
Speaker 1:
[41:15] We just watched Cameron do it though.
Speaker 2:
[41:19] That was staged. I'm just saying real fighting in your 40s is like, bro, we could have definitely handled this another way. I'm sure we could have had a conversation. Like, dead-ass, right? Yeah, like, we could have just talked about this shit. Like, unless this is blatant disrespect, these are just words. Like, I don't, you know. But I mean, maybe Kanye, you know. It might be something more to this, though. It might be, Kanye might fill away about Kam. He may have been filling away about Kam for a few years. And this is probably just, like, the latest.
Speaker 1:
[41:50] Yeah. I mean, I think that's a lot. They have history.
Speaker 2:
[41:51] They work together. You know, they made music together and things like that. So this may be, it may be something deeper to this. This can't be Kanye just upset about this one thing. And now he wants to, like, you know.
Speaker 1:
[42:02] Kam didn't help him get his kids back?
Speaker 2:
[42:04] Well, none of us did. Obviously, we're on that list.
Speaker 1:
[42:07] Kanye's mad at Ryan.
Speaker 2:
[42:08] Yeah, we're all on that list. So you know that. But yeah, it got to be something.
Speaker 1:
[42:11] The last we heard, Kameron went to see Kanye. I think he was in his Calabasas office or whatever, like sort of recently. And he was like, Kanye not crazy when he wants to be. He was sane as fuck when I saw him.
Speaker 2:
[42:22] Yeah, we all know Kanye's not crazy.
Speaker 1:
[42:24] So, I mean, the last we heard, they were in good stance, but I don't know. It was just a funny back and forth for what it was.
Speaker 2:
[42:31] We'll have to see.
Speaker 1:
[42:32] Why'd you leave Lil Wayne out of Coachella, man?
Speaker 2:
[42:34] Why'd you do that? I left Lil Wayne out of Coachella. So now Wayne is upset because he feels like he was left out of Coachella. Wayne felt like he should have been performing at the Super Bowl in New Orleans. And now this is the latest of Lil Wayne feeling left out.
Speaker 1:
[42:46] Your fault again. Custody battle with the Kardashians and Yeh. You could not follow through and you also could not one get Lil Wayne on that Superbowl stage because we know you have the connections there. And now he's not even part of Coachella. Thanks to you.
Speaker 2:
[43:02] But why would Wayne... Do we think Wayne has never been offered Coachella? I could see Wayne being offered that.
Speaker 1:
[43:10] Well, he tweeted, It's truly a humbling experience when events like Coachella and the Grammys come around and like clockwork. I'm uninvited, uninvolved. I appreciate my position or space I hold in your heart and mine. If so, because you're the humbling experience that's timeless. And for that, I thank you. I ain't shit without you.
Speaker 4:
[43:27] Wayne got to take responsibility for his legacy act not going the way it's supposed to. That's not because you have the love, you have the fandom, you have all of these things. You have the catalog, you have all of these things. You are not a good performer in your older age. You need to fix that, period.
Speaker 2:
[43:46] Yeah, but it's a lot of... Fucking Frank Ocean ain't a good performer. He ain't headlined this shit.
Speaker 4:
[43:52] Yeah, but there's a mystique.
Speaker 2:
[43:54] A mystique. A mystique.
Speaker 1:
[43:57] She's not wrong, though.
Speaker 2:
[43:58] There's a mystique.
Speaker 4:
[43:58] Mystique will take you far. I'm telling you, mystique will take you far. It's a façade.
Speaker 1:
[44:04] Okay, here's my thing. Wayne just performed at the Grammys with Hove, Khaled, Raw, like, he just did the God did shit in 2023. Also, I don't think I'm snitching. For the Hip Hop 50 at the Grammys that Questlove put together an incredible performance, he canceled like mid performance, because I respected the girl he was with, security wouldn't let her come with him to the part of backstage. So Questlove has to literally scramble in real time to redo a whole Hip Hop 50 tribute that Wayne was a big part of. You cancel while you're backstage with a microphone in your hand. Yeah, I don't know if I'm the Grammys, if I'm just rushing to have you a part of anything. Yeah. And granted, I've been in that position too, when you're with your loved ones and you want to make sure they're by you and security's tripping and being weird, it's like, I have one person with me, this is my girl. I would like for her to be next to me before I go on stage. And they're doing that shit. I totally understand that, especially if you're Lil Wayne, you're a legend, you should be entitled to having your girlfriend, wife or whatever come with you. It's not like you're trying to have 10 random chicks just come through. You with your wife. I get that. But you should also be a professional and say, all right, this is the security guard. What Questlove put together was very, very fucking difficult. I'll go out there perform, get the fuck out of here. You canceling. Yeah, that would put a weird taste in my mouth if I'm running the Grammys. I'm not rushing to have you a part of something, even when you're not that active outside of Versus.
Speaker 4:
[45:36] That's another thing, you're not that active.
Speaker 1:
[45:38] And we just had you with the God Day performance, which was incredible. I'm sure Wayne has also been offered Coachella plenty of times.
Speaker 2:
[45:46] Well, he's saying he hasn't, right? They keep leaving him off.
Speaker 1:
[45:48] I know, I can't see that. I could be wrong.
Speaker 2:
[45:50] I would be surprised that Wayne was never offered Coachella.
Speaker 1:
[45:54] Has he not performed at Coachella?
Speaker 2:
[45:56] He's never done Coachella.
Speaker 1:
[45:59] Interesting.
Speaker 2:
[46:00] He's come out as a guest on somebody's set though, right?
Speaker 4:
[46:02] With G-Eazy.
Speaker 2:
[46:03] With G-Eazy, okay.
Speaker 1:
[46:05] That's so wild.
Speaker 4:
[46:06] That's crazy.
Speaker 1:
[46:08] Okay. I could be wrong, but I just find it very hard to believe that Coachella has never offered Wayne a set before.
Speaker 2:
[46:15] Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 1:
[46:17] In the Super Bowl thing, just my opinion, Wayne obviously is allowed to feel how he wants to feel. I just don't think Wayne is a good enough performer to do the Super Bowl. That's just my personal opinion as someone I hold as a goat in hip hop. I just don't know if his live show meets the criteria by yourself to do the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2:
[46:33] Same. I'm with you on that. I think we spoke about that when it happened in New Orleans. Wayne is a legend. There's no debating that. But as far as being able to perform on a stage that big and put on a performance of that size, I don't know if that's solo Wayne. Now he could definitely come out on somebody set at Super Bowl.
Speaker 1:
[46:55] Hell yeah.
Speaker 2:
[46:56] And do that. But an entire Super Bowl performance. I just don't know if Wayne is capable of putting on that type of a show. Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[47:07] So Wayne's allowed to feel, however, Wayne is allowed to feel.
Speaker 2:
[47:11] He's a legend.
Speaker 1:
[47:11] He's a legend.
Speaker 2:
[47:12] Why wouldn't Wayne go on? Wayne should do a tour.
Speaker 1:
[47:15] He did the Louisiana Fest, which did great in New Orleans.
Speaker 2:
[47:18] He's on tour with who?
Speaker 4:
[47:19] He's on tour with a bunch of weird cities.
Speaker 1:
[47:22] He's probably doing the B Market.
Speaker 2:
[47:23] Wayne is on tour right now?
Speaker 1:
[47:27] I appreciate when artists like this do the B Market tours though. Because those fans deserve to see.
Speaker 4:
[47:33] Oh yeah.
Speaker 1:
[47:33] Sometimes they don't have to drive three hours to go find a major city. I like when-
Speaker 2:
[47:37] What cities is Wayne doing?
Speaker 4:
[47:39] Napa, California, Bangor, Maine, I think that is.
Speaker 1:
[47:43] Yes, the B Market.
Speaker 4:
[47:45] Guilford, New Hampshire, Des Moines, Iowa.
Speaker 1:
[47:50] Yeah, so they don't have to drive four hours to go see their favorite act. I think that's cool.
Speaker 2:
[47:54] Grand Rapids, Concord, California, Columbus, Long Beach.
Speaker 4:
[48:00] Yeah, Brandon, Mississippi.
Speaker 2:
[48:03] I didn't know Wayne was on tour.
Speaker 4:
[48:05] Well, it doesn't start until May.
Speaker 2:
[48:08] Oh, OK. I thought he was currently on tour. It's coming up. OK, got it.
Speaker 1:
[48:11] You're just not heavy in the Bangor main streets like that.
Speaker 2:
[48:15] Yeah, I don't really be tapped in in Bangor like that. My aim to the streets in Bangor.
Speaker 1:
[48:20] Your reach just isn't that far, I guess. I guess you're not who you say you are.
Speaker 2:
[48:23] Yeah, that's a fact. I guess not. That's a fact. I wasn't in the Bangor streets like that.
Speaker 1:
[48:28] Your tentacles don't go there.
Speaker 4:
[48:29] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:
[48:30] My bad.
Speaker 1:
[48:31] Well, yeah, again, I just don't agree with Wayne.
Speaker 2:
[48:35] Saratoga Springs, that's my stage. SPAC, I used to shut that down every summer in the choir.
Speaker 4:
[48:39] What you know about Saratoga Springs?
Speaker 2:
[48:41] I was there every summer, shutting down SPAC every summer.
Speaker 4:
[48:43] Yeah, I don't know about Saratoga Springs. When I told the story of messing up the hotel sheets with rose petals and them not giving them to us, that was Saratoga Springs.
Speaker 2:
[48:51] That's where you was at?
Speaker 1:
[48:53] Don't they have some big weekend out there? It's not horse racing.
Speaker 2:
[48:56] When I used to be out there. It is horse racing.
Speaker 1:
[48:57] It's horse racing.
Speaker 2:
[48:58] Yeah. I was in the streets, B. I tore the amphitheater down in SPAC. That was me.
Speaker 1:
[49:02] Tore it down?
Speaker 2:
[49:03] Tore it down.
Speaker 1:
[49:04] It's still there.
Speaker 2:
[49:04] It took the roof off that one.
Speaker 1:
[49:05] Wayne's performance is still there. Maybe they did renovations after you left?
Speaker 2:
[49:09] They had to. You kidding? When we left? Come on, man. She was smoking.
Speaker 1:
[49:18] Do you have more footage? I know at our live show, we had the footage of you with Vanessa Williams.
Speaker 2:
[49:23] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[49:24] Do you have more like, if I reach out to your mom or sister, do they have like VHS tapes that I could digitize?
Speaker 2:
[49:30] I would have to find, I would have to talk to, I would have to talk to somebody from the choir and see if they have footage of any tours and shows that we did. I don't think that my mom has any though. No, my mom wasn't just meeting us like on the road with a camcorder and just like...
Speaker 1:
[49:44] No, well, you know, sometimes they'll film it and like parents can purchase like what they film.
Speaker 2:
[49:49] Nah, I wish we did though. I wish we filmed more of our shows. That would have been dope.
Speaker 1:
[49:52] I'm sure there's gotta be tapes somewhere. Cause that would be a fun like Patreon, like game film breakdown that we just sit here and watch.
Speaker 2:
[49:59] Yeah, I gotta try to find some tapes somewhere. Somebody got some tapes somewhere. I would just have to make some calls and try to find it.
Speaker 1:
[50:08] No, absolutely. Anyways, though, speaking of Young Money, MAL is thawing out, pause. He's been in the ice block all weekend in Toronto.
Speaker 2:
[50:18] I've been in the ice block?
Speaker 1:
[50:21] Yeah, he's definitely on the ice block. You're definitely Drake's David Blaine. He's just gonna throw you in the ice block until album release. Which makes sense because there is ice block where your heart used to be.
Speaker 2:
[50:33] Yeah, come on, you know that.
Speaker 1:
[50:36] There was video footage over the weekend of an ice block and Drake in a Packers jacket in downtown Toronto. And while we were recording, he just posted what looks like an address to where this ice block is. And he said release date inside. So I think he's trying to get people to get their ice picks and start going to work. This one really won't get the chocolate factory shit. If any of y'all get your tongue stuck to that, I'm going to laugh at you. Because you know that's going to happen. It's going to be a bunch of... I mean, all right, someone just get some boiling water and let's just start.
Speaker 2:
[51:15] Oh yeah, somebody will probably have it out by the end of today. Somebody will probably get to it.
Speaker 4:
[51:20] Oh, without question. Somebody got a drilling company.
Speaker 2:
[51:22] Yeah, somebody go out and do a bunch of blow dryers or something.
Speaker 4:
[51:26] But putting all that effort...
Speaker 1:
[51:27] Imagine just walking down Bond Street in Toronto and you just see a bunch of kids with ice picks just walking down. I'd be terrified.
Speaker 2:
[51:34] Nah, just get 10 Puerto Ricans and make beat aguas all day. They'll actually get a bunch of cherry and mango.
Speaker 4:
[51:43] They'll get that night.
Speaker 2:
[51:43] They'll have to have a release date in 10 minutes.
Speaker 1:
[51:46] Let's see.
Speaker 4:
[51:46] So wait, it's just the release date, not the actual album? That's mad effort.
Speaker 2:
[51:52] You think he put the album inside of ice so somebody could just have the album before everybody else?
Speaker 1:
[51:56] Hard drive on ice, yeah.
Speaker 2:
[51:58] Hard drive on ice. There's a Disney special way to happen. Hard drive on ice tonight.
Speaker 1:
[52:03] All right, well, it's 40 degrees right now in Toronto, but the low tonight is 29 degrees. So you guys got to get to work right now.
Speaker 2:
[52:10] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[52:11] Because that's going to freeze right back.
Speaker 2:
[52:12] Yeah. No, somebody, they'll have it out. I'll say by either late tonight or early tomorrow, they'll have the kids will be done, got that release date out of there for sure.
Speaker 1:
[52:23] What if it's actually Anthony Fantano's body, like in the middle of that with the release date?
Speaker 2:
[52:28] No, Anthony Fantano is in the middle of the ice block holding the release date.
Speaker 1:
[52:31] I know, if his body is just frozen like Austin Powers in the middle of the show.
Speaker 2:
[52:38] They definitely put Anthony Fantano inside the middle of that ice and he's holding the release date in his hand.
Speaker 4:
[52:46] Everybody said Anthony Fantano was just like trolling all the people who be doing stuff like that.
Speaker 2:
[52:50] He wasn't trolling, man. They sold him bad dope, man. He ran out there and ran his mouth just like they thought he would.
Speaker 1:
[52:56] And then he had to save face like, Oh, Drake was too excited.
Speaker 2:
[52:59] Drake was too excited.
Speaker 1:
[53:01] No, he was too excited with the bad dope.
Speaker 2:
[53:03] With a bad date. You had a bad date, expiration date.
Speaker 1:
[53:08] That's funny, though. Well, I'm glad my prediction was correct, though.
Speaker 2:
[53:12] What?
Speaker 1:
[53:13] I felt like Drake fed him that. Well, someone from Drake's camp purposely fed him that information to look like an idiot.
Speaker 2:
[53:19] Because why would you even do that? Even if somebody did tell you a date like that, why would you even go to the Internet and say something? That's exactly why they won't give you any real information because they know you're going to be a mole.
Speaker 1:
[53:31] They also don't like it.
Speaker 2:
[53:33] Yeah, it's like, what do you mean? Just relax, man. Album soon. Album's coming soon.
Speaker 1:
[53:37] Well, my guess is obviously it's not this week if they're putting the date in the middle of ice blocks on a Monday.
Speaker 2:
[53:44] What's your prediction?
Speaker 1:
[53:47] I think not next Friday. I think the following. Just my guess based off of he's starting this now with the release date. They'll have the release date, in my opinion, by Wednesday, the latest, to get through that ice block, right?
Speaker 2:
[54:02] I think sooner than that. I think the kids are going to go out there.
Speaker 1:
[54:05] Someone's going to show up with a hairdryer.
Speaker 2:
[54:08] Somebody's going to go out there with one of those blowtorches, Elon Musk flamethrower. They're going to get that release date. I'm not saying this is not going to... You're saying Wednesday?
Speaker 1:
[54:20] All right. Probably by the time people are hearing this, it's probably up.
Speaker 2:
[54:24] Yeah, I think this is... I think they'll get to that late tonight, early tomorrow.
Speaker 4:
[54:28] And Woody, I think the release date is going to be...
Speaker 1:
[54:30] I'm going to go with May 8th, because I think Drake was also shooting video stuff. I just feel like that gives you a runway of almost two weeks to do a proper rollout.
Speaker 4:
[54:45] I'm going May 1st.
Speaker 1:
[54:47] That quick?
Speaker 5:
[54:49] Chris Brown is on May 8th.
Speaker 1:
[54:52] Chris Brown is on May 8th. I don't think Drake particularly cares.
Speaker 4:
[54:54] I want May 1st.
Speaker 1:
[54:55] May 1st. That quick?
Speaker 2:
[54:56] Okay. I'm going to go...
Speaker 1:
[54:59] Whatever you're going to go, I'm going to go with... Wait, wait, hold on. I'll take it back.
Speaker 2:
[55:05] Let me shut up. Let me just stop, man.
Speaker 1:
[55:07] Are we in the ballpark?
Speaker 2:
[55:09] You're in the ballpark.
Speaker 1:
[55:10] Okay.
Speaker 2:
[55:10] You're in the ballpark.
Speaker 1:
[55:12] First or eighth? Yeah, I think we're getting it pretty soon.
Speaker 2:
[55:15] When you said Baby D?
Speaker 4:
[55:16] I said May 1st.
Speaker 1:
[55:18] So that would be...
Speaker 2:
[55:18] May 1st, you said...
Speaker 1:
[55:19] May 8th. Just so that gives him these two weeks to do more shit. He's blowing up shit in Toronto, videos. I just feel like that gives a proper...
Speaker 4:
[55:30] We putting money down. I want to bet. I like winning stuff.
Speaker 1:
[55:34] Are we do pushups?
Speaker 2:
[55:37] Y'all want to bet between each other?
Speaker 1:
[55:39] Sure.
Speaker 2:
[55:40] May 8th, May 1st?
Speaker 4:
[55:42] Can't go over, though.
Speaker 1:
[55:45] So if it's past May 8th, I don't win?
Speaker 4:
[55:47] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[55:48] That's crazy. All right, fine. All right, so let's just straight up bet it's either the 1st or the 8th, or we'll both lose? What if he does a Wednesday release?
Speaker 4:
[55:58] Whoever's closer to the release date, but you can't go over, like how betting is.
Speaker 1:
[56:02] See, that's unfair, because over could still be closer for me.
Speaker 4:
[56:06] No.
Speaker 1:
[56:07] Yes.
Speaker 4:
[56:07] It could be, but you're not supposed to go over. That's how bets work. You don't be a hard rock bet.
Speaker 1:
[56:13] That's not how hard rock bet is. They're bets. Not even a little bit. So it's closer if it's before. So it works out for you in that regard. But if it's over, it doesn't.
Speaker 4:
[56:22] This didn't watch the prices right, yo. You could tell who didn't watch the price.
Speaker 1:
[56:25] No, no, you can tell who did watch the prices right, because this is how this works. And if it's over, I should be closest.
Speaker 4:
[56:30] In prices right, you can't go over. You can't go over in the prices right. Mal, you know, you grew up watching the prices right.
Speaker 2:
[56:37] For sure.
Speaker 4:
[56:38] You cannot go over. When you place an initial bet, you got to be the closest while still being under.
Speaker 1:
[56:43] All right, well, I'm going May 8th.
Speaker 4:
[56:45] All right, I'm going May 1st.
Speaker 1:
[56:47] What you want to bet?
Speaker 4:
[56:49] A dinner. You got to take me to dinner. Oh, me and a friend.
Speaker 2:
[56:54] Damn, can I get in on that bet?
Speaker 1:
[56:55] I was going to say, I don't really lose there.
Speaker 2:
[56:56] I want to get on on that bet.
Speaker 1:
[56:58] Come on, May 1st.
Speaker 2:
[57:06] I can't wait. Come on, Iceman.
Speaker 1:
[57:09] Put in the call. Lot riding on this bet.
Speaker 2:
[57:12] Yeah, you in the fresh shit. That sounds like a bet I want to lose.
Speaker 4:
[57:16] Yeah, until I say where we going for dinner.
Speaker 2:
[57:18] That's all right. That's all right. You know where we going for dessert though. Baby D, I'm with you, my bad, I'm sorry.
Speaker 4:
[57:30] You're sick, bro.
Speaker 2:
[57:31] I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1:
[57:34] All right, that's fine. Dinner.
Speaker 4:
[57:35] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[57:36] With the front, for both.
Speaker 4:
[57:37] Yeah, what do you want?
Speaker 1:
[57:39] Oh, you just gotta pay for me and the front.
Speaker 2:
[57:42] Same dinner.
Speaker 4:
[57:42] Oh, same thing, I.
Speaker 2:
[57:44] Same dinner, same restaurant, you pay.
Speaker 1:
[57:47] Same shit.
Speaker 2:
[57:50] That's a sick-ass bet. Yo, nah, same day, but you pick up the tab. Like, I'm not picking it up, that's all. All right, cool.
Speaker 4:
[57:58] You know I'm confident if I'm volunteering to pay for something, I don't pay for shit.
Speaker 1:
[58:02] All right, so y'all both got the hand and I don't? If this is insider trading, then MAL has to pay.
Speaker 2:
[58:07] I don't know when the album is dropping.
Speaker 1:
[58:09] That goes on our joint account if this is insider trading. If you told her a date.
Speaker 4:
[58:12] Who's going to put it on there anyway?
Speaker 1:
[58:14] If you pink-roased her.
Speaker 4:
[58:15] You're going to make somebody pull out a camera and then suddenly it's content and it's on their business account. You ain't fucking slick.
Speaker 1:
[58:20] Well, I mean, we would live stream it, of course.
Speaker 2:
[58:26] Of course, you would put on these lives and we could go live stream. Oh, man.
Speaker 1:
[58:32] Anyways, shit, we were talking about the Wayne and Ramy's thing. Do you see the Cardi B and Atlanta State Farm employee situation?
Speaker 4:
[58:43] No, I haven't discussed it. Them people to fuck out.
Speaker 1:
[58:45] Almost canceled the show, said she's never going to perform there again. I get it.
Speaker 2:
[58:49] Well, what happened?
Speaker 4:
[58:50] They were being rude to her staff and then arguing with her being disrespectful. Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[58:57] The employees of the State Farm Arena was arguing with Cardi B. How could they even speak to Cardi B?
Speaker 4:
[59:03] I guess they were being rude to her staff at first.
Speaker 2:
[59:06] Oh, okay.
Speaker 4:
[59:06] Yeah, being rude to her team. And then she got involved, and then they started being disrespectful to her. They disrespectful in Atlanta. I don't know what, no one should be surprised.
Speaker 2:
[59:17] Being disrespectful in Atlanta and then disrespecting Cardi B at her fucking concert, at her show, at the State Farm Arena, two totally different things. The staff at the State Farm Arena should not be disrespecting the artists who sold out the fucking arena for the night. How does that even happen? It's so many different steps of protocol before you even get to even talk to me. That's why I'm like, how does she even, but if you're saying they're disrespecting her staff.
Speaker 4:
[59:45] Her team and she addressed them about it and they were disrespectful.
Speaker 2:
[59:49] Oh yeah.
Speaker 1:
[59:50] Is her team probably trying to get stuff done for her for the show and they're like, yeah, we can't even get that done because they're not even letting us, which I saw a lot of people commenting like a lot that this is a typical thing with State Farm. I've been to State Farm a few times. I never saw anyone be rude, but apparently to everyone in Atlanta, this is par for course when it comes to State Farmer.
Speaker 4:
[60:08] Yeah, she said they were being rude to the fans too. Atlanta security is rude.
Speaker 1:
[60:15] Listen, I get it, you got a job to do, but...
Speaker 2:
[60:17] This is the way you do it though.
Speaker 1:
[60:18] Yeah, and if you're now talking to the person that's headlining, whatever she says should go. If I want my staff to be able to be treated with respect, this is my show.
Speaker 2:
[60:29] We know how this goes, Rory. This is probably security wasn't honoring certain passers-of-bands to get from one section to another, backstage, wristband. We know how this goes. These passes are only allowed here. These bands only get you access here. Like, you know how this goes.
Speaker 1:
[60:47] Nothing's more frustrating when you're working. You're not trying to be that person that's there to chill and just, you know, let me get back. No, I'm working right now. You're making my job very difficult because I have a schedule to keep and now you're harassing me about a wristband. Like, I don't care. I'm not trying to get in a VIP. I'm working right now. But that's why I can understand Cardi's team's frustration. Like, yeah, I'm working the same way you are now. You're just because your team doesn't have your shit together with your fucking pamphlet of what band goes where you're fucking my job.
Speaker 2:
[61:15] Right. And now I got a call because I'm stuck on this side, can't get backstage. I got to get shit. Yeah, we know how this goes this show. So I can see that being the cause of it. Well, probably just was, you know.
Speaker 4:
[61:26] Well, congratulations to Cardi B and the first female rapper to sell out every show on her tour.
Speaker 2:
[61:32] She's the first what?
Speaker 4:
[61:33] Female rapper to sell out every show on her tour. She grossed over 70 million dollars.
Speaker 2:
[61:38] That sounds like another Bronx legend. That's all that sounds like to me is another Bronx legend. I don't know about y'all. Shout out to Cardi. Shout out to Cardi B. Another win for the Bronx. Four of them, we did it.
Speaker 4:
[61:49] Nah, said my bitch was a one hit wonder. All the shows was hits, like let's really talk about it.
Speaker 1:
[61:54] Not one person in here said Cardi B is a one hit wonder.
Speaker 2:
[61:57] Now, I will say this though, cause I think we talked about it when she first started this tour. Her production was definitely stepped up from what I seen, like the clips in the video online. They definitely stepped the production up for this show for sure. I've been seeing that. So shout out to Cardi on that.
Speaker 1:
[62:11] Do you think State Farm fired those employees?
Speaker 2:
[62:13] No, they'll be at the Hawks. The Hawks are...
Speaker 1:
[62:17] Game three.
Speaker 2:
[62:17] There'll be a game three. Hopefully, they'll let Jalen sit to the locker room.
Speaker 1:
[62:23] Making sure Josh Hart can't get out on the court.
Speaker 2:
[62:24] Hopefully, they'll let Jalen in the locker room. You know how they're going to try to stop that from happening.
Speaker 4:
[62:29] Wait, how are the Cavaliers doing that I bet on? Did they do a good job?
Speaker 2:
[62:34] No, they played tonight. I think game one is tonight, right?
Speaker 1:
[62:37] Yeah. No, no, no. They won against the ref.
Speaker 2:
[62:40] Oh, they played yesterday? Okay, yeah.
Speaker 1:
[62:43] Hopefully when you're hearing this, the Knicks are now 2-0. Let's hope.
Speaker 2:
[62:48] Let's hope. Let's hope the Knicks go 2-0.
Speaker 1:
[62:50] You watched the guys?
Speaker 2:
[62:52] I did watch them.
Speaker 1:
[62:53] You was proud?
Speaker 2:
[62:53] They look good. The Knicks look good, man. The Knicks look like if they stay healthy, they should walk to the Eastern Conference Finals. If they stay healthy, cause you know, one tweak of an ankle with that amount of-
Speaker 1:
[63:04] Why would you even put that in the air? I don't even like-
Speaker 2:
[63:05] I'm just saying this basketball happens. You know what the shit happens. So shit, OG last night, I mean, the other night, he tweaked his shit for a second. That's when I was like, here we go with this shit. So, but he's good. So yeah, hopefully the Knicks continue to stay healthy and keep playing the way they are. They look good.
Speaker 1:
[63:22] Do you watch Sunday Conversations with- What's Caleb's last name? Yeah, Caleb Presley.
Speaker 2:
[63:29] No.
Speaker 1:
[63:30] He did one with Drake and his son.
Speaker 2:
[63:33] Was it the guy with the mullet?
Speaker 1:
[63:34] Yeah, and Glennie Balls in the middle.
Speaker 2:
[63:36] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:
[63:38] His interviews are hilarious.
Speaker 2:
[63:39] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[63:39] They did Jalen Brunson this past Sunday.
Speaker 2:
[63:41] Okay.
Speaker 1:
[63:42] And made him call. I forgot what's- it's one of those crazy steak houses in New York. It made him call for a reservation and said, I'm the king of New York. You need to give me a reservation. You know, Jalen is like the most humble human.
Speaker 2:
[63:53] Yeah. That's funny. So that probably-
Speaker 1:
[63:56] He turned like beat red of like, he was like, I can't say this. And he gave him like a sheet. He's like, go with number six. Did you hear me, bitch?
Speaker 2:
[64:04] Jalen didn't say that. There's no way he said that.
Speaker 1:
[64:06] No, he put it on mute and then said it.
Speaker 2:
[64:10] That's funny.
Speaker 1:
[64:11] Yeah. No, he does great, great interviews. I enjoy the Jalen one. But yes, go Knicks.
Speaker 2:
[64:17] Go Knicks.
Speaker 1:
[64:17] I'm nervous for tonight.
Speaker 2:
[64:19] Why?
Speaker 1:
[64:21] This is a-
Speaker 2:
[64:22] Game two. I know.
Speaker 1:
[64:25] Energy has shifted last playoffs. It takes one game where energy shifts.
Speaker 2:
[64:29] Atlanta ain't got nothing.
Speaker 1:
[64:31] I'm not watching with Damaris and Beatrice because that's bad luck from last year. I'm dolo by myself.
Speaker 4:
[64:37] You the bad luck.
Speaker 2:
[64:39] Old time, old time.
Speaker 1:
[64:41] No, anytime I watched by myself, we was good. It was when I linked with y'all every time. Because B is a diehard Knicks fan like me, lifelong. I try to be around real Knicks fans when we're in the playoffs and nah, not this time. And I'm jealous of Kia. She's going to the game tonight. Her job, the owner's part of that club that she works at, got everybody tickets. And I'm like, you won't even like the Knicks. Like, give me a ticket. We need support in the building right now.
Speaker 4:
[65:11] So jealous. You will be there, see, probably annoying our co-workers to shit, being anxious.
Speaker 2:
[65:16] Just stay home.
Speaker 1:
[65:17] I wouldn't even know who I was sitting next to. I'm focused on Jalen and Jalen only.
Speaker 2:
[65:21] Oh yeah, I'll take back. They're not getting that release date. Nobody's getting through that.
Speaker 3:
[65:26] I didn't know it looked like that.
Speaker 2:
[65:28] That's not, nobody's getting through that. That's like an apartment building. Nobody's getting through that.
Speaker 1:
[65:35] You underestimate Jared.
Speaker 2:
[65:36] Yeah, nobody's getting through that.
Speaker 4:
[65:37] That's the ice that like the Titanic hit.
Speaker 2:
[65:39] Bro, nobody's getting through this. Are you kidding me? Who's getting through that? How do you get through that?
Speaker 1:
[65:45] If you tunnel.
Speaker 4:
[65:46] If you tunnel.
Speaker 1:
[65:47] You gotta tell you, yeah.
Speaker 2:
[65:49] Cause I'm sure they have security. They're not letting people go in there with like.
Speaker 1:
[65:53] I'm sure they're not letting blow toys.
Speaker 2:
[65:54] Like axes and shit like that. Like you're not getting in there with shit like that.
Speaker 1:
[65:57] Well then how else are you gonna.
Speaker 4:
[65:58] Yeah, that's not fair.
Speaker 1:
[65:58] You need a weapon to get through that.
Speaker 4:
[66:00] You can't just let me chip out that shit with a fucking kitchen knife. Like no.
Speaker 2:
[66:05] Gotta breathe on it.
Speaker 4:
[66:06] how hot is your breath?
Speaker 1:
[66:07] That's what I'm saying. Who has the hottest breath in Brampton?
Speaker 2:
[66:11] That's crazy.
Speaker 1:
[66:13] Cause they start licking that.
Speaker 2:
[66:15] Yeah, that angle we have, it kind of looks like. This is somebody standing, one of the workers standing next to that.
Speaker 1:
[66:23] No, it's a wall of ice.
Speaker 2:
[66:24] Yeah, nobody's getting through that.
Speaker 1:
[66:26] Nah, you could get through that. It's just gonna take a little bit.
Speaker 2:
[66:28] It's gonna take a while. Yeah. It's gonna take about a week to get through that. That's a week for sure.
Speaker 1:
[66:33] They're gonna get to the middle and then open their phone and it'll be on DSP. It's... I would be pissed.
Speaker 2:
[66:42] You know what would have been crazy? What if Drake stood in the middle of that shit? Like David Blaine.
Speaker 1:
[66:47] That's what we said. We thought you were gonna do that part.
Speaker 2:
[66:50] You thought I was gonna stand in the middle of that? I don't rap. Why the fuck would I be doing that?
Speaker 1:
[66:54] Is that him on top of it? So I'm sure you don't think they shot maybe a video too?
Speaker 2:
[66:59] Oh, there's definitely videos done, but this is strictly just for fans to go some way downtown Toronto and just have, you know, take pictures and have fun.
Speaker 1:
[67:09] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[67:10] It's like a tourist attraction. We should pod from the igloo inside the middle of it.
Speaker 1:
[67:18] We should pod from Toronto with Drake when it's released.
Speaker 2:
[67:22] Well, yeah, I mean, I'm pretty sure every podcast has said that once or twice, right?
Speaker 1:
[67:27] I mean, we just park outside the house.
Speaker 2:
[67:30] Drake's house?
Speaker 1:
[67:31] Yeah.
Speaker 4:
[67:31] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[67:31] Good luck.
Speaker 4:
[67:32] I was saying, I did do that for sure.
Speaker 2:
[67:34] Yeah, good.
Speaker 4:
[67:34] Especially with mics.
Speaker 1:
[67:36] They'll know it's fun. Security would love it.
Speaker 2:
[67:38] Call me. Let me know. Call me.
Speaker 1:
[67:41] Let me know. I got them. I got mics near the pot.
Speaker 2:
[67:44] You got insurance? Now you're going to need it. You're going to need health insurance.
Speaker 1:
[67:50] Yo, I didn't know Tems is one of us. I don't know if this makes me love Tems even more because I already have a huge crush on her. Did you see her clip talking about how she breaks up with people?
Speaker 2:
[67:58] No. How does she break up?
Speaker 1:
[67:59] She's one of us. Can we play this clip?
Speaker 2:
[68:01] She just go ghost? Don't tell me Tems is ghost.
Speaker 1:
[68:06] Big manipulation.
Speaker 5:
[68:07] I don't know how it's to not have me in your life actually. I'm not what you need. What you need is something different. You're not here yet. I don't talk too much, but I just like, so this is what's going to happen now. Okay. And I want you to know that you can do so much better. I believe in you and I have faith in you. This is how you break up with people? Yeah. Out of love, what does this person need right now? What does this person have to work with? And what can I do to help this person? And sometimes that means I'm not in your life. You're human. I guess you're working through some things. I don't judge you. I don't blame you. But goodbye. Wow. That's the best thing for you right now.
Speaker 2:
[69:04] Tems is a gene. I don't judge you. I don't blame you. But goodbye. What?
Speaker 4:
[69:11] You can't tell me. She's actually, all jokes aside, she makes mad sense.
Speaker 1:
[69:16] She makes mad sense. To you, I would understand that would make sense.
Speaker 4:
[69:19] I'm not what you need.
Speaker 1:
[69:22] If Tems ever said all of that to me, I would cry in the car. I would 1000% cry in the car.
Speaker 2:
[69:28] I said that to a girl, y'all would call me a piece of shit.
Speaker 4:
[69:30] No, if you tell somebody-
Speaker 2:
[69:32] I said it to a girl and y'all call me a piece of shit.
Speaker 4:
[69:33] I did not call you a piece of shit.
Speaker 1:
[69:34] Manipulative, arrogant, narcissistic.
Speaker 4:
[69:37] That's none of that is that. If you're telling somebody, hey, I am not for you. I'm not what you need. That's not manipulative. Sometimes that shit is just the truth.
Speaker 1:
[69:46] It's not you.
Speaker 2:
[69:47] Baby D, it's not you, it's me. That's been the definition of- We've been doing that forever, men.
Speaker 5:
[69:52] I'm not, it's not you.
Speaker 2:
[69:53] And y'all said we ain't shit.
Speaker 4:
[69:54] But that's not about it. No. What leads up to you doing that is what makes you not shit. If you pretend that you're this, this, this, this, and this, and that this is what you want. And then when you're over and you're bored, you then say, it's not you, it's me. That is manipulative. But it really don't be like when somebody says, it's not you, it's me, it really do be you. Like the shit, sometimes shit just don't be the other person's fault. But you shouldn't rock them to sleep, get bored, and then be like, oh yeah, I'm good on this. That will make you a piece of shit. But realizing that you're not the person for somebody, that doesn't mean that you're a piece of shit. I'm not what you need, get away from me, like you said in the phone.
Speaker 1:
[70:29] So if I said, why did you disturb my peace then? Why did you all this if you didn't want me to begin with? Now I'm wrong?
Speaker 4:
[70:35] Okay, but see, that's different. Why did you deserve my, why did you disturb my peace? If you are there disturbing people peace, that's different. Sometimes you just date somebody.
Speaker 1:
[70:43] Why did you even string me along for this then?
Speaker 4:
[70:44] But that's even like when people say that people are love bombing them, like sometimes like, oh you loved bomb me, like you came in so strong and then you just faded out. Sometimes it's not love bombing, sometimes I really meant everything I did in the beginning.
Speaker 1:
[70:55] We've just never heard a woman go with this angle.
Speaker 4:
[70:57] Talk. Sometimes everything I did in the beginning, I really meant it and then getting to know you, I realized I don't really like you like that. I found something I didn't like no more, so I'll pull it back. That wasn't love bombing, it's just dating and realizing you're not the person for me.
Speaker 2:
[71:12] Baby D, that sounds beautiful and I believe you. I got one question about this situation. Isn't Tems a virgin?
Speaker 4:
[71:20] I didn't want to be the one to say it, but yeah.
Speaker 1:
[71:22] What's happened to everything?
Speaker 2:
[71:25] If you ain't give me no sex and then you tell me, I like you, I don't judge you, I don't blame you, but you must go now.
Speaker 4:
[71:38] What?
Speaker 2:
[71:40] What are we talking about? I didn't get no sex. We've been dated for seven months, I ain't got no sex and this is how you're telling me, we done?
Speaker 1:
[71:49] Would you say this to your pen pal?
Speaker 2:
[71:52] What are we talking about? How do you date somebody that's a virgin?
Speaker 1:
[71:57] That's how it used to be.
Speaker 2:
[71:58] As a grown, like as an adult.
Speaker 4:
[71:59] You fuck other people, Mal.
Speaker 2:
[72:02] Well then, but who?
Speaker 1:
[72:05] But you'd be wrong for that if-
Speaker 2:
[72:06] Yeah, but that don't make sense. Like if I'm dating Tems and me and Tems are like, we're a couple, right? Me and Tems say we're a couple.
Speaker 1:
[72:12] I'd see it through.
Speaker 2:
[72:12] This is my girl. Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. I'd see it through. Hey, Tems, however long, whenever you ready, you know what I'm saying? Whenever God tells you to give me that flower, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 1:
[72:25] Like 40 days, 40 nights, whatever you're holding for.
Speaker 2:
[72:28] We're gonna hold it out for Tems, but as adults, how do you date and be committed to a virgin?
Speaker 4:
[72:37] Some people are, not everybody has the lust demon that we have, Mal. Some people are also virgins.
Speaker 2:
[72:41] Everybody got the lust demon.
Speaker 4:
[72:42] Some people are also virgins.
Speaker 2:
[72:44] Some people just don't talk back to the lust demon. They don't have the conversation with the lust demon.
Speaker 1:
[72:47] Them Christian virgins got the worst lust demon.
Speaker 4:
[72:49] Sometimes men have re-virginized and committed themselves to...
Speaker 1:
[72:53] I'm sorry, what?
Speaker 4:
[72:54] Re-virginized.
Speaker 1:
[72:54] I'm sorry, what?
Speaker 2:
[72:55] Re-virgin.
Speaker 1:
[72:56] What'd you say?
Speaker 4:
[72:56] Re-virginized.
Speaker 1:
[72:57] Say it again.
Speaker 2:
[72:58] Re-virginized. I don't know what that is.
Speaker 4:
[73:01] Committed themselves to celibacy and I am a virgin again. Like I am reborn.
Speaker 2:
[73:06] Oh, so Tems had sex before.
Speaker 4:
[73:07] No, I'm not saying Tems. Sometimes men do that.
Speaker 1:
[73:11] You're not a virgin, you just say, I stop fucking.
Speaker 2:
[73:16] You can't say you're a virgin. Your holdings don't get deleted. Your virgin don't get deleted.
Speaker 1:
[73:20] Re-virginal?
Speaker 2:
[73:21] Yeah, I don't know what that is.
Speaker 4:
[73:23] If I fuck five people and they all die and there's no trees alive to tell the tale, did the tree fall in the woods?
Speaker 1:
[73:30] I don't even know how you...
Speaker 2:
[73:32] You said you five people.
Speaker 4:
[73:33] If I five people...
Speaker 1:
[73:35] Well, then I'm also going to think maybe you're a serial killer because that's too much of a coincidence.
Speaker 4:
[73:38] If I five people and they all die and they never told nobody and I never told nobody. So the only person alive that knows that I fucked them five people is me.
Speaker 1:
[73:45] Well, so you're a liar.
Speaker 4:
[73:46] I'm a virgin.
Speaker 1:
[73:47] A liar.
Speaker 2:
[73:48] You're lying to yourself. You're training a virgin.
Speaker 4:
[73:52] If a tree fell in the woods and no one is around to hear it, did the tree make a noise?
Speaker 1:
[73:56] Okay, then what would your gynecologist say?
Speaker 4:
[74:00] No, that means nothing. Your gynecologist can't tell if you're a virgin or not. That means nothing. Means nothing.
Speaker 2:
[74:06] Your gynecologist can't tell if you're a virgin?
Speaker 4:
[74:08] No.
Speaker 2:
[74:08] Really?
Speaker 4:
[74:09] Because the breaking up-
Speaker 1:
[74:09] You have us on a stalemate because we don't know this shit, but I hope someone comes and gives us the right information.
Speaker 4:
[74:14] Because the only thing that technically signifies you as a virgin biologically is a torn hymen. And you can tear your hymen doing anything. I tore mine horseback riding. You can do anything. You can tear your hymen doing-
Speaker 2:
[74:26] You tore your hymen horseback riding?
Speaker 4:
[74:27] I'm sorry, bike riding, not horseback riding. You can tear it horseback riding. I tore mine bike riding, not horseback riding.
Speaker 2:
[74:33] Did you have a seat on your bike?
Speaker 1:
[74:43] Now she's the head of black music. I've never seen you laugh like this. Did you have a seat on your bike?
Speaker 4:
[75:10] What the is wrong?
Speaker 1:
[75:13] Maybe he is high today, he's 420. Just think, she said, hit the smoke Ryan.
Speaker 2:
[75:18] She said she tore her hymen, riding the bike.
Speaker 4:
[75:21] So I'm like, what? What is wrong?
Speaker 2:
[75:24] How hard was she riding the bike? Where was she with her head? Tell your hymen riding your bike, I've never heard that before dog.
Speaker 1:
[75:34] She was really into mountain biking.
Speaker 4:
[75:36] Men do not know anything.
Speaker 2:
[75:38] Baby D, I didn't know that could happen, my bad.
Speaker 1:
[75:40] How did you know your hymen was broken?
Speaker 4:
[75:42] You bleed.
Speaker 1:
[75:43] But you didn't think it was like your period?
Speaker 4:
[75:46] At the age that I was at?
Speaker 2:
[75:47] No.
Speaker 1:
[75:47] Okay, I'm gonna ask, I don't know these things.
Speaker 4:
[75:50] Don't ask.
Speaker 2:
[75:52] But we gotta learn, we gotta ask.
Speaker 4:
[75:54] Yes, you can tear your hymen doing multiple physical activities, yes.
Speaker 1:
[75:58] So did you go to the doctor like, Oh shit. Cause it was bleeding?
Speaker 4:
[76:01] No.
Speaker 1:
[76:02] Why not?
Speaker 4:
[76:03] Because it's just, as a kid, there's something you don't really just talk about. It wasn't, it's not a huge amount of blood, it's a little bit of blood, not a lot of blood.
Speaker 2:
[76:10] You know, did she have a seat on her bike? It's platinum.
Speaker 4:
[76:13] What is wrong with you?
Speaker 2:
[76:14] That is platinum. What the hell?
Speaker 5:
[76:17] Jesus Christ.
Speaker 4:
[76:18] But yes, many girls, you can tear it from a tampon, tear it from horseback riding, from bike riding, from, yes.
Speaker 2:
[76:26] All right, hold on. Let's take a break, man. Cause I got to piss.

Speaker 1:
[78:17] For sure. Congratulations to everyone that was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Shade, Luther Vandross, The Wu-Tang Clan, Queen Latifah, MC Light, congrats, well deserved. Also shout out to the snubs because I think you guys all deserved it. Mariah Carey, Demaris was telling me off, Mike, this is the third time she'd been snubbed, which is insane to me because she should have been first ballot Hall of Fame out the gate.
Speaker 2:
[78:44] Listen, man, listen.
Speaker 4:
[78:45] If she wants to piss somebody off.
Speaker 2:
[78:46] Shout out to all the ladies, we love them. There's no way, all respect to, all respect to, there's no way that MC Light should be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Mariah Carey and Lauryn Hill are not. No disrespect to MC Light.
Speaker 1:
[79:01] I hear what you're saying.
Speaker 2:
[79:01] Georgie Porgi was my shit.
Speaker 1:
[79:04] She's a legend.
Speaker 2:
[79:04] She's a legend. But the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, there's no way you induct MC Light and Lauryn Hill and Mariah Carey are not inducted.
Speaker 1:
[79:15] Do we know how many times MC Light has been nominated?
Speaker 4:
[79:18] I think that was her second.
Speaker 1:
[79:19] Her second and Mariah on her third.
Speaker 2:
[79:22] Like, come on, man. This is why these things don't really mean shit after a while, because it's like look at like, look who's in and look who's out. It's like, come on, bro. Like, what is this?
Speaker 1:
[79:32] Yeah. And I mean, as much as I think MC Light should be there.
Speaker 2:
[79:36] I hear you as Florida. I'm just saying getting in before Mariah Carey and Lauryn. That just doesn't make.
Speaker 4:
[79:43] She is being inducted in the early influence category, making her first nomination and subsequent selection for the honor.
Speaker 1:
[79:51] OK, that makes all the sense in the world to me.
Speaker 2:
[79:54] What is early influence category? What is that?
Speaker 1:
[79:56] Early influence to hip hop, especially on the women's side. There's an early influence category. I'm not going to sit here and pretend I know everything about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and what categories are there and how people get in. But early influence category, yeah, MC Lyte should be right there. And Queen Latifah, without question.
Speaker 2:
[80:15] I'm not mad at that. But I'm saying they deserve, I'm just saying whatever early influence make up a fucking category for Mariah that gets Mariah and Lauren Hill in.
Speaker 1:
[80:25] You actually shouldn't have to make up a category for Mariah Carey.
Speaker 2:
[80:27] Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, I get it. Shout out to MC Lyte. She deserves it. Shout out to Queen Latifah. She deserves it. But so does Lauren Hill and Mariah Carey. They deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Speaker 1:
[80:37] But they probably don't qualify for early influence, honors, pioneers, artists whose music and performance style directly inspired, evolved, and shaped the course of Rock and Roll music and impact culture.
Speaker 2:
[80:48] Yeah, no. You're right. Now that I think about it, Mariah Carey, her style didn't directly inspire.
Speaker 1:
[80:53] Oh, no, I mean, it did. But I mean, I can understand on the hip-hop side, early influence.
Speaker 2:
[80:56] They have not evolved or shaped the course of Rock and Roll music.
Speaker 1:
[81:00] Of course, they did. But I mean, so did Nas. But I could see Karras 1 being up for early influence before Nas.
Speaker 4:
[81:08] I understand where that's coming from. But Mariah deserves to be there. The woman with the, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 2:
[81:12] And then fuck all of that. New edition?
Speaker 1:
[81:16] I was going to get there, yeah.
Speaker 2:
[81:17] Where is they early influencer? They been shit since 83, 84. They been making music. Like, what are we talking about here? How New Edition not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
Speaker 1:
[81:26] You don't even have K-pop without New Edition.
Speaker 2:
[81:28] Like, come on, man. This shit is, this is why you just got to, you take this with a grain of salt, man. Like, you know, it's cool to be honored and make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but obviously you should not put so much weight on that because clearly New Edition, I've said it, I think they're the greatest group ever. They should be in any Hall of Fame. They should be any early influencer. They should be any fucking category you can think of that would honor New Edition for what they've done. They should win it. So, yeah, it is what it is.
Speaker 1:
[82:01] On the pop side, a thousand percent. But Shakira as well, definitely a snub. I know Method Man reacted to the New Edition snub, rightfully so.
Speaker 2:
[82:11] Yeah, like, New Edition?
Speaker 1:
[82:12] What do we do? But listen, man, Bill Belichick did not get into the NFL Hall of Fame. So, I don't know what's done.
Speaker 2:
[82:19] That's what I'm saying. So, sometimes these accolades and these things, like, I get it, you know, it puts you in a prestigious category and you're forever, like, you know, I guess, immortalized with the honor. But, you know, you can't put too much on it because, again, these are people, regular people that sit in a room and vote and, you know, you can't base your career or your success on these people getting it right all the time.
Speaker 1:
[82:42] Do you think the hip hop museum in the Bronx should do its own version of a Hall of Fame?
Speaker 2:
[82:48] Who would it, like, just for hip hop?
Speaker 1:
[82:51] Yeah. I mean, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I'm fine with them not changing the name to the Music Hall of Fame. And not to say I get the outrage of like some of the corny Rock and Roll guys. I'm like, why are we letting in all these other genres? Because the Hall of Fame is, it started as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's evolved. It's the Hall of Fame of Music.
Speaker 2:
[83:10] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[83:10] And they didn't want to change the name, whatever. But I mean, granted, I know the museum pretty much is the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Anyone that's there. But I think for the newer generation, that could be cool.
Speaker 2:
[83:21] Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 1:
[83:22] I think it matters to have that.
Speaker 2:
[83:24] Yeah. We need to have our own place where no matter what, this is our thing. This is our culture. Allergies or asthma?
Speaker 4:
[83:38] Black people don't be valuing awards unless white people give it to them. We had the BET Awards, stop showing up because it wasn't cool enough. Everybody wants to be. White people got to tell them they're cool and valuable for them to.
Speaker 2:
[83:53] No, but that's why we're talking about the Hip Hop Hall of Fame.
Speaker 4:
[83:56] That's what I'm saying. They won't be as valued. They won't value it as much as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Speaker 1:
[84:03] Let me ask from the outside looking in. Is it that or is it that the Grammys has been around for so long that that award was given to people that these artists idolized their entire career?
Speaker 4:
[84:17] Of course.
Speaker 1:
[84:18] So like, yeah, is it that as well? Like it's just been a prestigious award. Yes, it's given by white people.
Speaker 4:
[84:22] What makes it so prestigious?
Speaker 1:
[84:24] But I mean, that's because white people were by law controlling everything at that time. But it's the longest running. Well, that's why Oscar means a lot to somebody because they watched their favorite actors and actresses. That was the bar.
Speaker 4:
[84:35] Of course. But.
Speaker 1:
[84:37] And just just a new award out of nowhere doesn't hold the same weight or prestige.
Speaker 4:
[84:42] But it's not about the new award because like I bought up the BET Awards, which has been going on for what, over 25, 30 years. It's not about just it being a new award. It's why do you not care about your peers telling you the dopest? Why do you need people who aren't your peers, who don't know anything really, anything about your fucking music or the culture that it lives in? Why do you need them to tell you that you're the greatest? Why does that matter so much?
Speaker 1:
[85:09] I feel like a lot of A-list artists have showed up for the BET Awards.
Speaker 4:
[85:15] They used to. They used to. That has stopped.
Speaker 2:
[85:20] I mean, well, that doesn't, I think, I don't know. The BET Awards turned into something.
Speaker 1:
[85:25] The BET Awards gets a lot of flack, but they do a pretty good job and people show up.
Speaker 4:
[85:29] They do. When people show up, why do people no longer show up?
Speaker 1:
[85:32] There's a lot of times that A-list artists aren't, especially in hip hop, aren't showing up to the Grammys.
Speaker 4:
[85:37] Sometimes.
Speaker 1:
[85:39] Unless they're nominated.
Speaker 4:
[85:41] And they'd be nominated at the BET Awards every fucking year?
Speaker 1:
[85:43] Granted, I would love if the Big Three showed up every single time at the BET Awards. I think that'd be great, but it's not like they all treat every other award show differently. It's not like Cole was front row at the Grammys every year.
Speaker 4:
[85:55] I'm not even just talking about the Big Three, but.
Speaker 1:
[85:57] Well, I'm just talking about A-listers in hip hop. Like the important people, where other people would follow suit. If you found out Drake, Kendrick and Cole were all going to BET Awards, I guarantee you every single rap artist would open their email and be like, I did get invited. Let me go.
Speaker 4:
[86:11] It's important, just saying.
Speaker 1:
[86:14] But they just don't treat it every, if they treated the Grammys that way, I'd see the point, I guess. But I'm really just asking. I think the BET Awards does a pretty good job for the budget they have.
Speaker 4:
[86:24] I do, I agree too. But it used to be more prestigious to us, to the people it mattered to. But that's all, my only point was, you start a hip hop hall of fame, niggas is not going to jack it the way they jack everything else. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:
[86:37] Well, but to Rory's point, if certain artists go there to receive their hip hop hall of fame award, oh, showing up, going.
Speaker 4:
[86:52] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[86:53] But I understand what you're saying as well. We do put more emphasis on other people accepting us and praising us than our own. So I get that, I understand.
Speaker 4:
[87:03] Sure.
Speaker 2:
[87:03] And then they sold BET, and I don't even know if black people own it or not.
Speaker 4:
[87:07] I don't think black people own it. That ain't Viacom, though.
Speaker 2:
[87:11] Is it black entertainment, or is it, you know?
Speaker 1:
[87:14] On a smaller level, just because it was a day, Mass Appeal putting on the 50-year hip hop anniversary at Yankee Stadium, everybody showed up to that. I mean, everyone got paid, too, but people were still there, too.
Speaker 4:
[87:26] Of course.
Speaker 1:
[87:27] So yeah, I think when you have people like Nas and Mass Appeal behind some of that stuff, It matters who's behind it. You can get people to care more.
Speaker 2:
[87:35] It matters who's behind it.
Speaker 1:
[87:36] I'm sure there's a lot of elder statesmen in hip hop that have been fucked over so much of like, should I give BET this moment? Because I don't even know who the fuck owns BET at this point. Like, I'll give Nas this moment because that's Nas. So yeah, that's a fair point, too. Yeah. What? Like, I'm going to give this moment as cool hirk to who owns it.
Speaker 2:
[87:58] Right.
Speaker 1:
[87:58] So, but yeah, I would like to see the hip hop museum do something.
Speaker 2:
[88:02] We need our own space. Yeah, definitely need our own space, for sure.
Speaker 1:
[88:05] Well, the museum is coming together, and I like they put low-income housing in there as well. I guess it's a really good project that's going on with that in the Bronx. And I mean, too bad Sin City's not open. It's right there. You could make a whole day after, a whole day.
Speaker 2:
[88:19] Yeah, we could celebrate it after.
Speaker 1:
[88:21] That'd be a way to get to America.
Speaker 2:
[88:22] I just got inducted into the hip hop Hall of Fame. Now I'm going to Sin City to celebrate.
Speaker 4:
[88:27] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[88:29] You guys know more about this. How do you say his name? D4VD?
Speaker 4:
[88:33] David. David.
Speaker 1:
[88:35] Oh, it's like black, but.
Speaker 4:
[88:36] Come on.
Speaker 1:
[88:37] Well, let me not put black in this conversation because this guy's a sicko.
Speaker 2:
[88:40] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[88:41] So, yeah, David was arrested on murder charges.
Speaker 2:
[88:43] Finally.
Speaker 1:
[88:43] As we were recording.
Speaker 2:
[88:44] I think, I mean, for the last however many months, we all kind of felt like he was, you know, responsible for the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. So he's obviously he's been charged with unlawful sexual acts with a minor and first degree murder. He is eligible for the death penalty and hopefully, hopefully he receives a death penalty.
Speaker 1:
[89:05] Or just let him rot. Nah. Let him rot and get creped.
Speaker 2:
[89:10] Don't spend no tax paying dollars on him.
Speaker 1:
[89:12] Rotting grape.
Speaker 2:
[89:12] Send him to Greener Pastures. Get him out of here.
Speaker 1:
[89:15] I don't think he's going to Greener Pastures.
Speaker 2:
[89:17] You think he's going to cop out?
Speaker 1:
[89:19] Oh, I thought you meant like...
Speaker 2:
[89:21] Oh, no, no, no. Well, you know when I say Greener Pastures. No, he's definitely not going to Greener Pastures. But yeah, take him out back, you know, send him on his way, man. There's no reason to keep him fed and housed. Yeah. Not people like that that do shit like this. This was crazy for him to kill that little girl like that.
Speaker 1:
[89:40] I know we pretend to be a civilized society, but they should bring the firing squad back and family members should like be able to be part of it.
Speaker 3:
[89:47] Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[89:49] I told y'all, all we gotta do.
Speaker 1:
[89:50] The firing squad and everyone that's like an immediate relative.
Speaker 2:
[89:53] Man, listen, for all sexual predators, all we gotta, I'm telling you, just show us one time, throwing them in the lions den. Some hungry, just show it to us. Stream it on Netflix. Get your crew.
Speaker 1:
[90:07] Russell Crowe.
Speaker 2:
[90:08] Just show one time. And watch how those rates drop drastically. Just show, you have to show people what will happen if you do these things. If you sexually abuse kids and kill kids and things like this. Just show them. Show them what will happen to you.
Speaker 1:
[90:25] Because the way they set up to catch a predator, like they're in the kitchen or whatever, it would be nice if they opened the glass door, like you're a predator, now you're the prey. And in the backyard, it's just a fucking lion.
Speaker 2:
[90:36] It's a lion that hasn't eaten in fucking two months.
Speaker 1:
[90:39] And now you're just back there.
Speaker 2:
[90:40] Yeah, one time, one time. We only had to do one time, one episode and watch the fucking rates of all of these sick motherfuckers drop. And like, you know, cause this is, you give them life in jail, you house them, you know, they eat, they watch the fucking playoffs, they play cards like nah, kill him.
Speaker 1:
[91:01] They bond with other sexual deviants.
Speaker 2:
[91:03] Yeah, kill him, man. Get him out of here, man. So hopefully the state does what they need to do with this sicko and hopefully his family finds, you know, some justice in all of this, even though, you know, there's no justice for losing a loved one the way they did, but hopefully this, you know, the fact that he has been charged and they know who was responsible, although they probably always felt like he was the one just like we all have at some point. But now it's official. He has been charged.
Speaker 1:
[91:31] So he's being charged in Cali though. I didn't even know that Cali had the death penalty. When I saw Hollywood, I thought Hollywood Florida or something. Can you get the death penalty in Los Angeles?
Speaker 2:
[91:42] I think it's the crime.
Speaker 1:
[91:44] Okay.
Speaker 2:
[91:45] I think it may be the type of crime. I could be wrong. Let's look it up.
Speaker 1:
[91:49] All right. Well, the DA, y'all got to get on that. But just a very unfortunate situation. Obviously, let the judicial process do what it does, but I think they got the right one.
Speaker 2:
[92:02] Oh yeah.
Speaker 5:
[92:02] For sure.
Speaker 1:
[92:02] In my opinion.
Speaker 5:
[92:03] For sure.
Speaker 2:
[92:04] All right. Do we have voicemails?
Speaker 1:
[92:06] I believe we do.
Speaker 2:
[92:07] You've got mail.
Speaker 3:
[92:09] What's up, Rory, Mal, Demarius, Pige, Ryan. My name is Mark. I wanted to ask y'all if you ever had a situation where you were seeing a girl or guy, you know, judge, where you had everything checked off. You know, they checked off all your boxes and things were going good. And then you find out one thing and then it's just like that one thing is it's a no go. So I asked because I was talking to this girl for a little bit. Again, she takes off all the boxes. Everything is going cool, you know, great energy. But somehow we got into the topic of like trans stuff. And she told me that she would let her 10 year old children go through transition, you know, surgery and whatnot. She says she would look into it, make sure that this is what they really want. In my mind, I'm like, why does a 10 year old kid even like know about that? And they're 10, I'm not going to allow that. People can do what they want when they're adults, but whatever. So that was like a complete deal breaker for me. And after that, I just stopped talking to her. I was like, nah, this ain't gonna work. So have you ever had a situation like that?
Speaker 2:
[93:21] Absolutely.
Speaker 1:
[93:24] Here comes the Red Pill Podcast.
Speaker 3:
[93:26] No.
Speaker 4:
[93:27] The question is, have you ever had somebody who just had an idea that you just couldn't get with, but they checked every other box?
Speaker 2:
[93:32] Yeah, for sure. It happens. Sometimes people in dating, you talk to them and you hear their thought process on things and their opinions on things. You just like, I don't know if this is the person for me.
Speaker 1:
[93:46] I feel like yours are very miniscule though. Like I feel like yours are like, oh, she, she bites her pinky nail and like it's over at that. He's talking about like transitioning a child, which would be, you know, very controversial back and forth between two people and their beliefs. I feel like yours are much, I don't even think you get to trans with you. She sneezes wrong. It's like not, I'm cool.
Speaker 2:
[94:15] It depends, but yeah, I've been in that situation, so I understand.
Speaker 1:
[94:19] With the child and transitioning?
Speaker 2:
[94:22] No.
Speaker 1:
[94:22] Okay.
Speaker 2:
[94:23] No, I've never dated a woman that felt like she would let her 10 year old transition.
Speaker 1:
[94:28] Maybe he never got to that part of the conversation.
Speaker 2:
[94:31] No, I just, based on other conversations, yeah, no, I've never dated a woman that would feel like that. I don't think, but no. But I can understand somebody being like, yeah, I'm not dealing with a woman that thinks that feels like that. Like, because if you're dating, you feel like we may have kids or if you like the person enough, you start thinking, like, yo, can I have a family with this woman? And then if that's her thought process, it's like, okay, that would be a huge problem in our household if you were cool with our kids wanting to transition at 10 years old. So I can understand not talking to somebody after that or no longer dating a woman that felt like that.
Speaker 1:
[95:05] Because you're dating with intention and eventually probably want to have children. I understand his perspective there for his beliefs.
Speaker 4:
[95:12] I've dated somebody who treated me very, very, very, very well. Would have done anything in the world for me. But our motivations were a little bit different. We had different, we weren't as ambitious, one wasn't as ambitious as the other one. But like great, great, great relationship, great chemistry, great everything.
Speaker 2:
[95:33] What do you mean wasn't as ambitious?
Speaker 4:
[95:35] I like really, I like people who, the people in their life motivate them to get money because they want to take care of them.
Speaker 2:
[95:43] You want people to be motivated to make money so they can take care of you?
Speaker 4:
[95:46] Me, my children, are their parents. Yeah. Like I like men that are motivated by taking care of their family, their family men. And that was the one thing that was just like, he's just like family doesn't motivate me. It's like, I'm going to be your family one day. I'm going to provide you even more of a family one day. So if that doesn't motivate you, then we're not going to go far no matter how great of a boyfriend you are.
Speaker 1:
[96:08] What do you think motivated them?
Speaker 4:
[96:10] Nothing, or I don't know, something else.
Speaker 1:
[96:12] I thought maybe he was ambitious, but his ambitions were selfish. Like he wanted to do it for him, not for anybody else.
Speaker 4:
[96:18] Yeah, I don't know, but it wasn't that.
Speaker 2:
[96:22] So he had to go.
Speaker 4:
[96:23] I feel like your kids should be your biggest motivator. Your wife should be your kids. It should be your biggest motivator. If it's not, I already had one.
Speaker 2:
[96:36] Well, that'll do it.
Speaker 1:
[96:37] If you got a kid right there and you're not, and he still ain't motivator.
Speaker 2:
[96:41] Yeah, then he's probably just not the guy for you.
Speaker 4:
[96:44] Had two, actually.
Speaker 1:
[96:44] Well, I appreciate Demare being that self-aware because there's plenty of women that would see that and be like, no, with our kid, he'll be motivated. Like, no, you just had an example that you skipped right over.
Speaker 2:
[96:52] Yeah, but it's not our kids.
Speaker 4:
[96:53] You got two kids and neither one of them, like, motivated you. I'm not about to give you a third, like, you know, don't I? No.
Speaker 1:
[97:00] Yeah, I mean, mainly with me, it's just like, she's perfect, but, you know, she's a whore.
Speaker 2:
[97:06] Yeah, and I just don't think my soulmate is a baby mama, so.
Speaker 1:
[97:09] You don't think so, at your age? I mean that respectfully, but. Really?
Speaker 2:
[97:15] I don't think so.
Speaker 4:
[97:17] What? All P's do is put the camera on me when I'm making faces. Like, But that is likely that, don't say a baby mama, she could be an ex-wife.
Speaker 1:
[97:27] Yeah.
Speaker 4:
[97:29] I feel like my husband might be a divorcee.
Speaker 2:
[97:32] So she's an ex-wife.
Speaker 1:
[97:34] Once you get to a certain age, there's a higher probability that you'll date somebody that has kids. That could be your soulmate.
Speaker 2:
[97:40] There's a lot of women that don't have kids, too, though.
Speaker 1:
[97:42] That's true. Especially with this generation, there's a lot of women in their 30s that are not having children. You don't get to pick your soulmate. The universe does. Your soul does.
Speaker 4:
[97:52] If the universe wants you to be a stepfather.
Speaker 2:
[97:54] Remember the first time they told us that? You don't pick your soulmate. The universe picks it. The universe just puts your soulmate in front of you. Yeah, I know.
Speaker 4:
[98:04] What if the person that's supposed to be your stepchild is the same age?
Speaker 3:
[98:09] Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Speaker 2:
[98:11] The person that's supposed to be my stepchild?
Speaker 4:
[98:13] Yeah, your stepchild is meant, you're supposed to marry this woman because of the butterfly effect. You're supposed to marry this woman so that you could be the stepfather to her son, her son who is in the age range of your nephew. And then your son and your nephew, stepson of your nephew are supposed to meet so that they become best friends and start a new Facebook. That's called the butterfly effect.
Speaker 1:
[98:36] This is literally how Dr. Dre and Warren G met.
Speaker 4:
[98:40] That's a real thing, like that could happen. And you can't avoid that. I wouldn't fight against it.
Speaker 1:
[98:44] Yeah, we're not going to get some Mars unless you do this.
Speaker 2:
[98:48] Is there a way that I can like, I would know this, like going into it. I just have to go through it and figure it out.
Speaker 4:
[98:52] You got to listen. You got to listen to the universe, listen to God and trust the signs. Like, damn, this feels right. Like me and this little nigga, like our cereal, the exact same way, same amount of milk. Like you got to listen to them signs.
Speaker 2:
[99:07] Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if that's my cards. I don't know if that's in my deck.
Speaker 4:
[99:12] I think you would be a good stepdad, so.
Speaker 1:
[99:14] I mean, that's arrogant to think you know what's in your deck.
Speaker 2:
[99:18] Maybe, yeah.
Speaker 4:
[99:19] God, what they say, man plans and God laughs.
Speaker 2:
[99:24] Yeah, when God plans for me to be a stepdad, I'm laughing at God.
Speaker 1:
[99:30] What's so wrong about being a stepdad?
Speaker 2:
[99:31] You think I'm taking care of this little?
Speaker 1:
[99:36] But why does every kid have to be like a badass, snotty nose kid? What if he's really good at the cello? Like, I don't know.
Speaker 2:
[99:43] So he's gay. Like, so now I'm gay.
Speaker 4:
[99:45] Oh my God.
Speaker 2:
[99:46] So now you want me to be a stepdad to a gay, you want me to be a stepfather to a gay kid.
Speaker 1:
[99:51] Some of our favorite musicians can play the cello very well.
Speaker 2:
[99:54] And they're gay. Some of our favorite musicians are gay. Is that not a fact?
Speaker 1:
[99:58] That's true.
Speaker 2:
[99:58] I'm just asking you, is that a fact?
Speaker 1:
[99:59] Love Elton John.
Speaker 2:
[100:00] That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4:
[100:01] Love Elton John.
Speaker 2:
[100:02] I love him too. I love the rock.
Speaker 1:
[100:03] But there's not much difference between the stand-up bass, the bass and the cello. If you get down to it, the string instruments are all kind of the same. An electric guitar is not that far from the cello if you really get into the weeds.
Speaker 2:
[100:13] No, no, no. The electric guitar is very far from the cello.
Speaker 1:
[100:16] I'm sure Jimi Hendrix could play the cello if he put his mind to it.
Speaker 2:
[100:18] Yeah, but I'm sure the guy that plays the cello can't play the guitar like Jimi can though.
Speaker 4:
[100:23] That's not me.
Speaker 2:
[100:23] Exactly. We're not doing that.
Speaker 1:
[100:26] But that's because they didn't take LSD yet.
Speaker 2:
[100:29] It's a difference. There's a difference.
Speaker 1:
[100:30] They haven't been at Woodstock.
Speaker 2:
[100:31] There is a difference. But yeah, jokes aside, I don't know, whatever happens. I mean, if I'm supposed to be a stepdad, I'll be a stepdad. It doesn't matter.
Speaker 1:
[100:39] I think you'd be a good stepdad. And I think the girl you want now, I'm good to kids.
Speaker 2:
[100:43] I'm good with kids.
Speaker 1:
[100:43] The energy you want is better if she's a mother.
Speaker 2:
[100:46] Yeah. I just would choose not to be a stepdad.
Speaker 1:
[100:49] But all the moons are in Aries right now. Like now's your time.
Speaker 2:
[100:53] Or be a stepdad if the father's dead.
Speaker 4:
[100:56] You and this, you got to stop. Yeah, he got to be dead.
Speaker 2:
[100:58] He got to be out of here. I'm not dealing with him.
Speaker 4:
[101:01] But then you never get a break from the kid, Monica. You never get a break from the kid if the father's dead.
Speaker 2:
[101:05] But eventually, he gets older and he can...
Speaker 4:
[101:07] But that's eventually he gets older. But them first 10 years of you with him, let's say you meet him when the kid's seven, you meet him, like you got like 10 more years before he started really leaving the crib. Like, nah, the dad got to be alive because he take him for the weekends. Then you and wifey free all weekend. It's like having a kid but without a kid.
Speaker 2:
[101:25] Yeah, but what if he's a deadbeat? You see what I'm saying? What if he is?
Speaker 1:
[101:31] Now you're judging her choice in men and kind of projecting in yourself.
Speaker 2:
[101:36] No, I'm just saying sometimes, you know, dads be deadbeats.
Speaker 1:
[101:39] Okay.
Speaker 2:
[101:40] He alive. He still, you know, he don't do nothing for his kid. Here I come. I'll save you, son.
Speaker 1:
[101:46] Yeah. That's you.
Speaker 4:
[101:50] I cannot.
Speaker 1:
[101:50] What if y'all wear the same hat size, you could style them.
Speaker 2:
[101:53] That better not wear my shit.
Speaker 4:
[101:55] Big ass hat size.
Speaker 2:
[101:57] It's just, first of all, you can adjust the hat, Demaris. What you talking about? Big ass hat size. What you talking about?
Speaker 1:
[102:06] You've never watched the videos of the kids coming in to be adopted by their stepdad? Tearjerker. Straight tearjerker. Oh my cry right away. Like that's I see that for you.
Speaker 2:
[102:14] The kids coming in to be adopted by their stepdad?
Speaker 1:
[102:17] Yeah. They ask their stepdad to be their father. Yeah. Can you be officially on paper of my father?
Speaker 2:
[102:22] Yeah. I've seen that.
Speaker 1:
[102:23] It's beautiful.
Speaker 4:
[102:24] I'm not the stepdad. I'm the dad that stepped up.
Speaker 1:
[102:28] You're doing a lot there.
Speaker 2:
[102:30] The same person that started that slogan, I'm not the stepdad. I'm the dad. That's the same that said, it ain't tricking if you got it. It's the same. I guarantee he wrote both of those. I guarantee you the same wrote both of those. I'm not the stepdad. I'm the dad that stepped up.
Speaker 1:
[102:47] I respect every father that does step up for their stepkids and is there. But if you wear that shirt, nah, you're just gonna be a Debbie.
Speaker 2:
[102:54] Yeah, come on.
Speaker 1:
[102:56] He's better, you're a Debbie.
Speaker 2:
[102:57] Don't put that shirt on.
Speaker 1:
[102:58] That's a terrible shirt.
Speaker 2:
[102:58] Yeah, don't put that shirt on. Don't do that.
Speaker 1:
[103:00] All right.
Speaker 2:
[103:01] It's been great. It's been fun. Happy 420, Rory.
Speaker 1:
[103:05] Happy 420.
Speaker 2:
[103:06] Happy 420, everybody out there. Well, when they're listening to this, it's 421. And it might be 420, 426. We almost hit 426. We almost. We went six minutes over. Almost.
Speaker 1:
[103:20] So is 421 like side chick 420 day? The way, February 15th?
Speaker 2:
[103:25] Roll over, yeah, kind of, sort of. All right, well, be safe tonight if you're out there in the streets having fun. Blaze one for me. I'm not blazing this year, but it is what it is. We'll talk to y'all soon. Be safe. Be blessed. I'm that. He's just ginger. Happy 420.
