Speaker 1:
[00:15] Welcome back to Two Judgey Girls. This is Mary from the Bay.
Speaker 2:
[00:18] And it's Courtney from LA. We're on the East Coast this week, in the state where everyone knows everything.
Speaker 1:
[00:25] That's what makes it so good. They're all interconnected. Like, this is a place where you go and get your hair cut, and everyone in this salon knows somebody, and that's why I appreciate it.
Speaker 2:
[00:39] What was it called in Jersey? Did you see Lorne Manzo's makeup like cat face or like ca face? Do you know what I'm talking about? That's where all the drama with Danielle Staub started, with Dina, Top Without a Badge. It's like a rinse and repeat, but here it's an esthetician.
Speaker 1:
[00:56] Right. It was like in a strip mall.
Speaker 2:
[00:59] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[01:01] I don't know.
Speaker 2:
[01:03] I swear it was like ca face, because I want to say that it made more sense to be cat face, which doesn't bode well if that's the name of your esthetician business in Rhode Island. I just wouldn't want to be a cat face if I was an esthetician, because to me, that means your skin's pulled too tight and you look like a cat.
Speaker 1:
[01:22] Of course. Yeah. It's like bad work got done.
Speaker 2:
[01:25] Yeah, exactly. Maybe for a hair salon, it's okay, but not for an esthetician's office. Did you hear, though? The rumor going around is that the affair is still going on and that Brian is now suing his mistress for breach of contract. What is the contract and is it because she's speaking out loud about their affair that's potentially still going on?
Speaker 1:
[01:49] So this is all in real time?
Speaker 2:
[01:52] Apparently, yes.
Speaker 1:
[01:54] Wow! It's truly crazy that Rulla and Brian are still together.
Speaker 2:
[02:00] Especially when you look at him and then you look at her.
Speaker 1:
[02:04] I mean, I think Ashley I was the one that said it this week.
Speaker 2:
[02:08] Him?
Speaker 1:
[02:09] He's not cute.
Speaker 2:
[02:12] I always just think of that Arrested Development meme where Jason Bateman is talking about Anne, which is George Michael's girlfriend, and he always just says, her? Him?
Speaker 1:
[02:26] Oh, I cannot wait to talk about Alicia's aunts with Rulla today. Let's start with the taglines, though.
Speaker 2:
[02:33] I agree.
Speaker 1:
[02:34] I agree.
Speaker 2:
[02:34] I'll start off. I'll kick it off with Kelsey. Who needs a sugar daddy when my life is this sweet? Kelsey, you do because your life is that sweet due to your sugar daddy.
Speaker 1:
[02:47] Are they together in real time? She was at Coachella.
Speaker 2:
[02:50] I saw that, so I'm going to guess no.
Speaker 1:
[02:52] I'm so curious. Is she with Billy? I would love to know.
Speaker 2:
[02:56] I know. It's a witch boyfriend. Right.
Speaker 1:
[03:00] Rulla. I have a blessed life and I'm a loyal wife. Both true, to say the least.
Speaker 2:
[03:07] Yeah, but both due to her. This is, come on. Here comes my bitch wife. You know how Joe Judgey would say that? I feel like that we're going to catch Brian on the hot mic. Here comes my bitch wife.
Speaker 1:
[03:20] He is very cognizant of him being on camera mic'd up, and he is very hesitant. I'm actually surprised he's filming at all, knowing what he's actually doing.
Speaker 2:
[03:31] Why did he sign up for this? That's my question.
Speaker 1:
[03:33] Why?
Speaker 2:
[03:34] Why is Brian doing this? It does not make him look good, I guess, because he's like, I don't fix people's heads, I fix their feet. Not the Brian, do the ankle. That's his tagline. Okay, Alicia. Why settle for just a slice when you can have the whole damn pie?
Speaker 1:
[03:57] It doesn't really make sense though. I mean, I get it, she's doing a nod to her restaurants and stuff, but she's trying to get a slice of her husband's pie, or not her husband's pie. So she's actually giving him the whole pie, and he's not even giving her a slice.
Speaker 2:
[04:16] Why buy the milk when the cow's giving it out for free?
Speaker 1:
[04:19] It feels like that here, but for this, it would be like mozzarella cheese.
Speaker 2:
[04:24] Well, milk is how you get cheese. So yeah, I mean, we've got the line of succession here.
Speaker 1:
[04:31] Ashley I, my life is like a rom-com. When I'm not crying, I'm laughing.
Speaker 2:
[04:37] Ashley I is a really funny case study because she obviously has the most history with reality TV. And yet every episode, she's like so surprised that people are leaning into their personality. She's like, I'm just a mom who tried today.
Speaker 1:
[04:55] I also think like ABC and The Bachelor is so curated that she is seen such a different side of reality TV. Also, she filmed that what five years ago at this point, but she does know how to like do the confessional. I think she's the best at them. They don't seem like put upon. It's her genuine natural reaction, but she knows how to do them the best.
Speaker 2:
[05:20] Hmm, I wouldn't say she's the best. I think Liz is the best at confessional.
Speaker 1:
[05:25] Oh, really? I actually feel like she moves too much.
Speaker 2:
[05:28] Oh, I'm talking about the line delivery. And that was the last time we ever saw her, referring to Kelsey on that boat.
Speaker 1:
[05:38] That was hysterical. Alicia is my favorite to watch in the confessional, because I feel like Alicia might be Kathy Hilton and Dina Manzo in one person. That's like the combo I'm getting. But I think Rosie in her confessional is trying to have too big of a moment. And speaking of Rosie, give us her tagline.
Speaker 2:
[06:01] Okay. I used to report the news, but now I'm the headline. Why is that, Rosie? Why are you the headline now? Is it because you got fired from the news?
Speaker 1:
[06:12] Because you slept with a higher up according to Kelsey. These girls are so dirty.
Speaker 2:
[06:19] Also though, I'm really enjoying Rosie this week. Like I- Really? Yeah. I know she's looking for moments in her confessional. But I think the thing that's working for this is that there's something about them all competing to be a star that they're willing to also be embarrassing. And like Rosie, to me, I think she's just really, she's doing a lot, but I'm liking what she's doing.
Speaker 1:
[06:42] Oh, see, I think Rosie is trying the hardest to be the star, and like Liz and Alicia don't even have to try.
Speaker 2:
[06:49] They're natural.
Speaker 1:
[06:49] They're naturally the stars.
Speaker 2:
[06:51] Yeah. I mean, and also I'd say Joellen is a star, but we really didn't get a lot of her this week.
Speaker 1:
[06:58] You guys learning about her sister and her sister, wearing that halter top, cooking and doing the laundry.
Speaker 2:
[07:07] It wasn't even a halter top. That was a tube dress.
Speaker 1:
[07:09] You're right. You're right.
Speaker 2:
[07:12] Boob could fall out at any point, and would Gary Jerry like it?
Speaker 1:
[07:17] I got this very Harris Hilton moment there. I was like, she's clearly trying to flirt with him, and Joellen knows about that as well. It was a very funny dynamic to watch.
Speaker 2:
[07:34] I think they were also leaning into it.
Speaker 1:
[07:36] Absolutely.
Speaker 2:
[07:36] I think that they know this is going to be a rumor about Joellen and her sister, and they're so close. They're like, it would actually be funny, but also like, please don't do anything. Just leave the boob touching for high school.
Speaker 1:
[07:50] Okay, Joellen, I'm not trying to be mean. I just mean what I say. This is kind of like one of that Ramona one.
Speaker 2:
[07:58] If you don't like me, acquire some taste, that one.
Speaker 1:
[08:01] Yeah, kind of.
Speaker 2:
[08:02] I think this is like an old school housewife tagline. This is something you would expect from the OGs and their first couple of seasons. So to me, this feels right. Agreed. Okay. Liz McGraw's tagline. Liz Dolores McGraw, every week, like when you put them in the same room together, it's actually crazy. When you see Liz's pre-Dolores work done, different people. She really did get the Dolores special. They are twins and sisters, and they are 100% related. I just can't prove it. Right. In the ocean state, I dispense the weed and the truth. We've got our Kyle Richards.
Speaker 1:
[08:44] Oh, you're so right.
Speaker 2:
[08:45] It's my town.
Speaker 1:
[08:46] Yes.
Speaker 2:
[08:47] In this zip code, in this state.
Speaker 1:
[08:51] The next season will be like in Rhode Island, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Speaker 2:
[08:57] In Rhode Island, the weed isn't the only thing that'll make you talk. What?
Speaker 1:
[09:05] So do you think they hooked up?
Speaker 2:
[09:07] No, I think they're in cahoots business-wise doing shady shit.
Speaker 1:
[09:12] I agree with that. Let's talk about, okay, so Dolores comes over after Liz's party and they're chatting, they're saging that room. But Liz, I really loved how she owned this moment. She was like, I am so disgusted by my own reaction. I looked like crazy. I came across as bitter. I was drunk. I was like a witch. And Dolores was like, that was the menopause, babe. She was like, well, okay, sure. And I over drank. You know, I lost my shit. And I just can't believe like Kelsey is co-signing this narrative. Because at the end of the day, she's trying to avoid her own issues with Dino. And I was like, ooh.
Speaker 2:
[09:59] Okay, so here's what I started thinking too. When Kelsey said, I don't think it's a good idea because of the rumors, I think Liz actually started thinking about the other, the business rumors and snapped a little bit about that. I started thinking because the way she snapped was so hard. And if people want to think she's having an affair and her husband is totally cool because he knows that there's nothing and they all laugh about it, then I can't believe that's kind of what set her off. And so then I started thinking about, oh, what about the shady shit that Dino's involved in? And are there rumors that Liz is involved with that? And so I started thinking, is that the rumor that made her snap, but she's going to throw it back to this affair thing because that's easier to deny.
Speaker 1:
[10:47] Maybe there's not even rumors about an affair, but they're calling the affair. But it's not even the affair. It's...
Speaker 2:
[10:58] No, it's all a legend. And based on nothing but vibes, zero evidence.
Speaker 1:
[11:03] I think we might be on to something here. I also feel like we should have come back to the party. I was disappointed by that. Like, I needed to see it keep going haywire a little bit because I'm sure it got crazier, to be honest.
Speaker 2:
[11:17] Never requested it to be continued until now.
Speaker 1:
[11:20] I know. I think probably a lot more happened. Did she come back down? Did Kelsey leave? Like, how did it derail? Because let's talk about her cleaning out the boat, which feels like all of a sudden they had to get rid of this boat real quick, which also now, oh my god, my brain's like going crazy.
Speaker 2:
[11:37] Oh my god, are you thinking that they're not really fishing?
Speaker 1:
[11:38] Exactly what I was thinking.
Speaker 2:
[11:40] Yes.
Speaker 1:
[11:43] You guys, also, we don't know anything. This is all based on one TikTok that Jordi McCrae made. Like, literally.
Speaker 2:
[11:49] Kingpin of Rhode Island.
Speaker 1:
[11:54] I'm like honestly scared talking about this. This is everything.
Speaker 2:
[11:56] This is all a legend. We're making this up. We're making this up.
Speaker 1:
[12:00] They had to clean out that boat really fast.
Speaker 2:
[12:02] All of a sudden, the big story line was that the affair was happening because he was gone so often and now he's like, I'll sell the boat because he's done. He's over it. So maybe they've completed their mission.
Speaker 1:
[12:14] So Kelsey comes to quote unquote clean out the boat.
Speaker 2:
[12:17] He is scared.
Speaker 1:
[12:18] She's so scared of Liz. She's like, oh God, I just need to get through this, but I need Liz to still be on my side because she could ruin me in this town. In the state.
Speaker 2:
[12:28] She brought a sweet green bag and I was like, I'm so glad Bailey can't see this. Triggering.
Speaker 1:
[12:36] Liz, I'm not proud of your reaction or anything, but when you said ongoing, that just triggered me. It sent me, you know those rumors are bullshit and you're co-signing it. Then Kelsey brings up this completely different story. We already knew they hooked up. But this happened 10 years ago. She's talking about how Dino filled a void in that moment. But then it feels a little creepy that Dino started showing up at the same places and she got PTSD from it. She's like, I don't want to be anywhere that Dino is. It reminds me of such a bad time in my life. I just got this very controlling vibe from Dino. This story seems strange.
Speaker 2:
[13:29] It sounded like she and Big Papa might have been on a break at this point. Or it was during the five months that he was gone. She was young, emotional, wanted to have some sort of attention. Dino gave her the attention. Then when she was back with Big Papa or she cut it off, he was like, no. Then essentially started stalking her, it sounds like from her storytelling, which is very scary. Years ago, she's 21.
Speaker 1:
[14:04] Yeah, this, it's just like kind of seems weird that Liz is such good friends with Dino and then it really seems like Kelsey says some not nice things about him. Their stories are different. I mean, Dino's her best friend and then Dino also stalked Kelsey.
Speaker 2:
[14:24] So it's weird. We're missing parts of the story here. Yes. And I do think we probably will be filled in because these women do like to talk.
Speaker 1:
[14:33] Absolutely not.
Speaker 2:
[14:35] Let's take a break and let's come back and talk about Alicia and her family.
Speaker 1:
[14:42] I am obsessed with these ants. They actually remind me of my own ants. I have three ants and they are in the mix. They want to talk to all my friends and I love these women. I feel like they were giving Rulla the best advice. Clearly they all knew that Brian is cheating on her. And so they're consoling her and telling her their own stories about infidelity. We all stayed too and it didn't end up working out. Like get ahead of this right now for your own good. And she can't do it. She is going to stick behind him right now.
Speaker 2:
[15:17] What's crazy about is obviously divorce is a big deal because we're not even allowed to talk about the first one. But then we also find out that they might have gotten together because of an affair when Billy was married to Alicia's Spanish teacher. No bueno.
Speaker 1:
[15:34] Alicia says in her confessional, she's like, I hope that isn't true because I really liked my Spanish teacher. And then I'm like, what year was this?
Speaker 2:
[15:44] Because I'm like, are you in high school or you just stayed friendly with your teacher?
Speaker 1:
[15:51] I was like, what is the timeline on this? Because I imagine that Alicia and Billy are about the same age in their 40s, right? And then like how old was the Spanish teacher?
Speaker 2:
[16:08] That's what I'm trying to figure out because Liz's friend was Alicia's mom, right?
Speaker 1:
[16:13] Liz's sister and Alicia's mom are best friends.
Speaker 2:
[16:17] Liz's sister? Liz's older sister, I'm guessing. Alicia and Liz are really close, but I couldn't figure out where on the familial timeline we are of who is the intro, and the connector, and whatever it is. But Rulla, what do they say? How you get them is how you lose them. And so I do worry. And Rulla, she's sitting there, she's taking all the advice. The women are all talking about their situations with their previous partners. And one of the aunts says like, I stayed, but I'm telling you, I was always looking over my shoulder. You don't wanna be looking over your shoulder the rest of your life. And Rulla says, that's the one thing that stuck with me. I also love too, because their accents are so hardcore that she's like, my husband wandered. You're like, your husband what? She's like, my husband wandered. They're like, wandered. My mom has such a thick Boston accent that I'm like, I don't even know why you name me something with an R, because my name is Courtney.
Speaker 1:
[17:27] I saw this TikTok probably.
Speaker 2:
[17:31] Yeah, of course. Breaking news, what happened?
Speaker 1:
[17:34] About how the Boston accent is fading out.
Speaker 2:
[17:41] Wow. Who's going to pack the cotton hobby yet?
Speaker 1:
[17:48] I don't know. But okay, I like what Alicia's mom said as well. She's like, I pray that you somehow hurt him.
Speaker 2:
[17:54] And then I was thinking like emotionally, and she's mean physically.
Speaker 1:
[17:59] She's like, get that man back.
Speaker 2:
[18:03] Run over his foot with your car because that is his business. But also what's going on with this mistress? Like the preview for next week is that they're at the same event and she's posting on Instagram, and Brian is trying to take Joellen out. I'm like, hey Brian, here's a smart thing. Ask the mistress to block Joellen. She's clearly not because she wants it out there. The mistress wants to be the number one.
Speaker 1:
[18:30] It's actually insane. I don't know why he would go with a camera to the event that your mistress would be at. Or even that you think that they would be at. Like that's dire.
Speaker 2:
[18:42] Why are you filming at all, Brian? Why are you filming at all? It is crazy to me too because I'm like, okay, Rulla, you seem very self-sufficient. You seem independent. You make your own money. You are a boss bitch. Are you a boss bitch in your relationship though, I think Liz asks? Like it is wild. And not only that, because sometimes maybe when you're in it, you can't see it, right? You're just trying to keep your head above water and you're like, you know, today was good. So if today's good, then maybe tomorrow can be good. And then you start kind of weighing it that way. But now that it's actually on TV, even though there's an edited version, the facts are still there.
Speaker 1:
[19:23] No, it's not looking good. I do think as it's filmed, she's realizing, oh, it's still active. I really genuinely think she thought it was over and she was willing to work it out. And now as it's filming, she's like, it's not over. This is horrible, horrible. And then I think you're like, how did I marry someone that thought they would get away with this? I don't even know this person. I have two children with them?
Speaker 2:
[19:54] How did he think he get away with it? Because he married the last mistress.
Speaker 1:
[19:57] I know, I know.
Speaker 2:
[19:58] That's what's crazy.
Speaker 1:
[20:01] We need this Spanish teacher to come forward.
Speaker 2:
[20:03] Hola!
Speaker 1:
[20:05] Maybe it wasn't like in high school. Maybe it was like she took Spanish classes on the side.
Speaker 2:
[20:10] No, I think it was her Spanish teacher from high school, but they're friends after the fact. I don't think it happened when Alicia was in high school. I just think it was the Spanish teacher. Sounds like a small town, small state, as we know. Wait, I wanted to also go back to the beach day because Ashley I takes everyone to her favorite beach and they are all like, where the hell are we? I prefer a beach country club. What are we doing here? She's like, they're like Malibu Barbie and I look like a mom that tried today. Then we brought the pizza chips out and I was like, oh my gosh. I love, love it.
Speaker 1:
[20:46] I love it. I've never had pizza chips. It looks like focaccia. It's focaccia, right?
Speaker 2:
[20:52] Yes. Now, these ones had like a ton of sauce. My favorite is when there's just like a little bit of sauce. Oh my God. My uncle goes to the best bakery. And when he, whenever I see him and he gets it. Oh my God. It's not Superior Bakery, but it's so good.
Speaker 1:
[21:08] Okay. The next time you come here, we have to get it from Little Original Joe's. It's absolutely delicious. I can't believe we never got that. I get it. I get it. I got it once a week. This is at the market. This is like when I get to go.
Speaker 2:
[21:21] Oh, you're bringing it home.
Speaker 1:
[21:22] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[21:23] Oh, okay. Oh my God. Okay. It's still in a flight right now.
Speaker 1:
[21:28] Oh my God. I love it. But it makes sense. You don't want the cheese to melt at the beach.
Speaker 2:
[21:32] Yeah. You don't want to get it everywhere. Like the something about this show is that they're always eating. Manja.
Speaker 1:
[21:41] I know.
Speaker 2:
[21:43] Or la comida en mi boca espanol. Spanish teacher taught me.
Speaker 1:
[21:49] Okay. I love it because the girls just want to gab after the party. They want to get, what was the drama? Alicia is about to climax. She's so excited to hear what Kelsey had to say because she knows about that fight with Liz. She's like, it was pretty bad. Kelsey is like, she said, fuck you. She said, I was fake and I just was thinking to myself, am I going to be dead because Liz, who owns the state of Rhode Island, is missed at me. I'm genuinely scared. Then Alicia is like, I'm scared of Liz too. She definitely can be scary and I'm not scared of anyone, but I definitely could be scared of Liz.
Speaker 2:
[22:39] Let's remember, Alicia says, she is scared of Liz and she doesn't get scared of anyone. We do need to remember, Alicia is scared of Liz and she doesn't get scared of anyone, because everyone needs to remember this is what Alicia said. At this point too, Alicia has been, she's a star, but she's been a little bit meager. Like I don't feel that she has been to a Liz level in a way. Like Liz is intimidating. She has a presence of someone who's much taller. Like she comes in and she's like a 10 foot personality giant.
Speaker 1:
[23:23] Totally.
Speaker 2:
[23:24] And Alicia hasn't given that yet, because all we know about Alicia, she's trying to figure out what's going on with her relationship. She wants to be able to talk to Billy about this. She wants to be able to be 50-50 in her relationship. She wants to make sure she's getting hers. And right now, she's just trying to get a piece of the restaurant.
Speaker 1:
[23:44] Right. And this actually is very upsetting. And I like how the women gave her some good advice. It's crazy. You have a kid with someone, you've been together for almost a decade, and you are saying she doesn't have any part in your business, like no part in this house. Like, that's absolutely wild to me. And I don't like Billy because of it.
Speaker 2:
[24:12] I know Billy, you're gonna have an uphill battle. And then I started thinking, okay, I was worried about the relationships. Remember in episode one, because I had heard that there was trouble in Paradise for one. Then we met Rulla and I said, okay, thank God. That's who it is. But now I'm like, is Alicia on the show to get some money in her pocket, have some financial independence? Does she want to leave Billy?
Speaker 1:
[24:36] I hope that Alicia and Billy can stay together and that she can get 50-50 on everything because she deserves that. And it shows because she's been with him for a decade. And she deserves to have a half of everything because she's been a mother, she's been a wife, she's run that house for them.
Speaker 2:
[24:59] And when it comes down to it, she's not even asking for 50-50 of everything. She's like pizza mama. Like that is mine. The fact that you don't get to work because he wants you to raise his child and he still wants to provide all of these things for you, but also keep you as a kept woman. Like we're watching it with Kelsey right now.
Speaker 1:
[25:16] Yes, so true.
Speaker 2:
[25:17] Kelsey, this could be your future minus the kid part though, because big papa doesn't want any more kids. Let it Alicia be a lesson for you that you might be living a free lifestyle, but everything comes with a price.
Speaker 1:
[25:29] Yeah, no, it really does.
Speaker 2:
[25:32] Let's take a break and let's come back about the kid conversation with Rosie and Ashley Eye.
Speaker 1:
[25:41] Okay, Dawson and Hayden are adorable, and Rosie seems to be all in having a blast with them, but she's just like really debating having children. And then she tells us, to be honest, we actually tried and it wasn't really working out, and then it made me reconsider, is this something I really want to go after? So she's kind of in limbo with this. And then I wondered if she's worried about struggling with like infertility and then like she doesn't really like want to go down that road. And she just doesn't want to like face that because obviously we've seen so many women share fertility stories on these franchises. And it's a difficult road. So I don't know, I wonder if in the back of her mind, like she's hesitant because she doesn't want to start that journey. That popped in my head.
Speaker 2:
[26:39] I completely agree. And then I also though, when she was talking about the fact that they had been trying previously to being married, because I think last week we had said, maybe this is a conversation you have before you get married.
Speaker 1:
[26:51] Yeah.
Speaker 2:
[26:51] But obviously they had had the conversation and now she's reconsidering. And I think it is a life changing event, right? You have a kid, your entire life has changed. Ashley, I say, like, I've turned to my mom, like, oh, you're going to be upset if you don't have kids and you run out of time. Rosie is young still. She has time. I also was thinking too, and I don't think this is a conversation that comes up often. And I don't think that this is maybe what Rosie is thinking, but I did think about this pathway as, like, Rosie's starting on this franchise. And I think she's always wanted some level of stardom. She's the new thinker. She was in front of the camera. Now she's the headline, according to her tagline. I also wondered, too, she's like, it's just not the time right now. I'm starting on this journey. I saw what they did to Teddy Melloncamp. Just kidding. But maybe this is actually, I want to focus on my career right now. And ideally, I'd like to do that maybe a couple of years down the road, but I don't know if Rich is going to be okay with a couple of years down the road. Like, let's see what happens with this.
Speaker 1:
[27:56] Yeah, I think that makes a really valid point.
Speaker 2:
[27:59] And the men never really have to think about that because they're not giving their body as a vessel to this alien for 10 months and having to go through all the work and the recovery and all of that, the pressure that you put on your body as a woman, and so I just started thinking that aspect too of, hey, putting your career first is something that women have to think about that men necessarily don't have to. They can do both.
Speaker 1:
[28:20] I think you make a valid point because, yeah, this literally could catapult her career, her life, and having a kid, you know, ties you down to some things.
Speaker 2:
[28:32] Well, it just changes your priorities on how you spend your time. Totally. For us, for instance, I'm able to do a lot of things more spontaneously because I don't have to get a babysitter or check in with my partner to make sure that somebody's watching our child. Like, it really does take a lot more planning on your end than it does on mine. And so that's just something to consider. Now, is she thinking about any of this? Who knows? We just put this thought in her head. Okay, let's go to Rail Explorers because Rosie is planning. She loves exercise because in Legally Blonde, they says exercise makes you happy. Happy people don't kill their husbands. She delivers that line as if it's not from a movie. What do you think of this new confessional look on her, by the way? She's got this bigger hair, she has this pink, it's almost like a tube top with a floral, and then she's got this bedazzled arm.
Speaker 1:
[29:25] Yeah, it's Toddlers and Tiaras for me. It's a miss for me, but fun, fun to watch, fun to watch.
Speaker 2:
[29:33] It actually though does fit in with her terrible fashion sense because if we want to think about her road trip and outfit, which was that floral peplum tube and the white lace bike shorts, it fits her style.
Speaker 1:
[29:47] Right. And her pink jeep.
Speaker 2:
[29:49] Yeah, you're right. She is a Barbie doll.
Speaker 1:
[29:52] Yeah, she's flamboyant.
Speaker 2:
[29:53] Yeah.
Speaker 1:
[29:54] Okay. So they're driving up there. Kelsey is feral. She opens that beer with her teeth. She's like, oh God, I have a confession. I actually ate McDonald's today, but it was actually out of the trash. I was like, like what? Wait, what?
Speaker 2:
[30:14] But then I thought, did you eat McDonald's the night before?
Speaker 1:
[30:17] Yeah. She ate it the night before. Was like, no, no more. Put it in the trash, but it was still in the back. So then she's like, I know there's still that burger and that wrapper in the trash. I'm sure it's fine. And she, she ate it.
Speaker 2:
[30:30] That's what I was wondering. What was the food item she ate? Like, was it a nuggie that was in the box and it was kind of being thrown around, or was it fully wrapped? It's like, better not have been a fucking filet of fish. I'll tell you that. Or was it like a Big Mac, or was it just a straight up cheeseburger? No ketchup, no nothing. Just the bun, the cheese and the meat.
Speaker 1:
[30:52] I think that, and then she air fried it.
Speaker 2:
[30:55] She air fried it. Ooh, is that a trick?
Speaker 1:
[30:58] Oh, you have to, if you eat anything the next day, just air fry it. Like pizza, a leftover burr, any leftovers, it works.
Speaker 2:
[31:07] Yeah. I'm thinking there was not even a thought process. It was straight from the wrapper to the mouth.
Speaker 1:
[31:11] It was cold.
Speaker 2:
[31:12] It's not even cold, Mary. It's room temperature. It's in the trash. Our little possum Kelsey. Our little forager. I'm like, oh my God, what's happening with Big Papa?
Speaker 1:
[31:26] I don't know. It's like very strange. Okay. Then Rosie's like, oh yeah, that's something I would do. She's like, oh God, my stomach hurts all the time. Everyone's like, is it because you're on Nozempic? Everyone loves to talk about her being on Nozempic. She's like, no, I used to have colitis and that's why I went on medical leave.
Speaker 2:
[31:46] I was wearing diapers to work every day.
Speaker 1:
[31:50] Kelsey's like, that's not true. She got fired for having an affair with a higher up. That's the real story, okay, guys?
Speaker 2:
[31:58] So then I'm like, is it the higher up? What about the basketball coach?
Speaker 1:
[32:01] I know. It's like there's a lot of stories. I don't know.
Speaker 2:
[32:04] Rosie has stories and breaking news, Rosie, tell us.
Speaker 1:
[32:09] I know, yeah. So we get to the event and Rulla is making cocktails in the back. I was shocked to see that. I thought she was going to be a little bit more prim and proper, but she makes a stiff drink according to Kelsey.
Speaker 2:
[32:24] This event, I would be Rulla. Put me in the back. I'm pretending to pedal my way through. I don't want to do three miles up and three miles back. I want to be sipping my rail martini and looking at the coast. On the rail, Rosie and Liz are together and nosy Rosie wants the scoop about what Liz thinks about her bestie Ashley I. Liz is like, well, she's kind of standoffish at the 4th of July party. She wasn't really talking to me. First experience wasn't so good with her. She's not making eye contact, whatever. Rosie's like, locked in. I will remember that. Breaking news, Ashley I. When they get to the destination and they're at the water filling up their water cups, Rosie's like, so Ashley, Liz said some things about you. But Ashley's kind of not taking the bait.
Speaker 1:
[33:19] Yes, agreed.
Speaker 2:
[33:21] Not because she's not taking the bait, where she thinks it's going to be drama. I think she's just worried about like, oh my God, no, that's not how I wanted to come off at all. Ashley I is intimidated by Liz and didn't make eye contact with her because she's scared.
Speaker 1:
[33:34] Yeah. I think she just wants to fit into the group seamlessly, so she just isn't going to get in Liz's way. There was no bad intention. She wants to be friendly with Liz. It's not deep.
Speaker 2:
[33:48] Yeah, she was more like, no, no, no. I don't make eye contact because I'm shy. My moms did the same thing and people took it for potentially being bitchy, but actually it's just shy because I'm not sure how to handle the situation. Yes. But they're over there long enough for the others to see them and say, uh-oh. And Liz knows exactly what's happening and Liz will take the bait.
Speaker 1:
[34:10] Exactly.
Speaker 2:
[34:13] And then Liz is sharing, she wants to share that she's sensitive, but she's tough and she doesn't allow people to get close. Like, I can jump down people's throat. And Rosie is like, thank you for this book.
Speaker 1:
[34:31] And then Rosie goes, yeah, Alicia says you're always like that, Liz. Like, you're pretty scary and that you always will jump down people's throats. And Alicia's like, Rosie, I wouldn't do that if I were you. And then it's like off to the races.
Speaker 2:
[34:52] Before this, though, they are all pumping Alicia up. Like, you're going to get yours from Billy. Let's do some role play. She's just this meager girl. How do I do this? What should I do? She's like, yes, okay, yes. I can't have sex with you. I would rather watch Love Island. And everyone's talking about like, yeah, there's so much good TV. Of course we would rather do that than have sex. We're gonna have her power stance in the mirror and know her worth. And then now it's all of a sudden it's like, oh no, Cece's here. Like Cece's her alter ego. Cece's here and she's gonna fuck you up, Rosie.
Speaker 1:
[35:25] I loved seeing the side of Cece or I loved meeting Cece.
Speaker 2:
[35:29] I don't know what that is, her alter ego, but I heard them call her Cece. I'm gonna go with, we've got Alicia and we've got Cece.
Speaker 1:
[35:37] I love Cece in this moment because she is like, oh no, Rosie, you are so thirsty. I will literally kill you. You're doing the grossest thing right now. You've showed me your cards and you're weirding me out, and this is not my style. You know what your eyes, your eyes are sneaky, okay? You look like a troll, you're a snake, she lies, she's freaking activated. And Rosie is like, what? Like what, you literally said that, which once again, Courtney, what did she say?
Speaker 2:
[36:07] She did say, I am scared of Liz and I don't get scared of anyone. She did say that.
Speaker 1:
[36:15] Did appreciate that Liz, you know, cause Alicia walked off, Liz went over there, she goes, I think you're kind of having the same moment as I did on Saturday, but I don't know how much alcohol you had, like tone it back.
Speaker 2:
[36:30] You're gonna regret this, like I think we're going too far, I appreciate you defending me, but I think you're gonna regret this. Alicia's like, no, I'm not. Well, Cece said that. No, I'm not. I will never regret saying this. I mean what I say. I won't regret it.
Speaker 1:
[36:46] I'm obsessed with her. She's like, I'm just like a sensitive gangster. I needed my peppermint Oreo. You know, like Mary Katherine Gallagher from Saturday Night Live. She's like, oh no, I'm not going to do that.
Speaker 2:
[37:00] Rosie's like, I think you misinterpreted what I said. Like, I am not coming from a bad place. And then Alicia's like, well, you could say sorry. Get over it. And they hug it out. Everyone's looking over, are they hugging right now? Like, what the hell? Like, this is record timing. Liz is like, this is why we call Cece the flip-flopper.
Speaker 1:
[37:20] I am Team Cece all the way on this one because I do feel like Rosie was trying to set her up. And I think what she was saying at the beach was like, be careful with Liz. She can be scary. She will, you know, go after you. So just like warning them a bit and not even in a negative way, but just, it was like a nice warning.
Speaker 2:
[37:45] Liz is someone you don't want to be on their bad side. I didn't want to be on Joellen's bad side, but I think it's mostly because like Joellen is a gossip. Like I just think that like if I am on Joellen's bad side, I'm like, oh great, she's going to be talking shit around town. You know that even though she was being a friend to Rulla, letting her know what was going on, she was also gabbing with the girls all about it. And it's like you don't want to be the subject of Joellen's gossip. Whereas Liz is like scary because she's like well connected. She could actually ruin you where Joellen's, she's mean on what she says, but she's just gossiping. Liz is like, oh no, like you will leave town if you're on my bad side. Like you and the fishes, you're going with the fishes. Going with Gypsy.
Speaker 1:
[38:28] It's not even the town, Courtney, it's the state.
Speaker 2:
[38:30] It's the state.
Speaker 1:
[38:31] The ocean state.
Speaker 2:
[38:35] Yeah, Liz is someone that you don't want to cross because she knows where the bodies are buried. Because Dino buries them.
Speaker 1:
[38:45] I think Alicia was just trying to educate the women on this. That's all. She wasn't saying anything bad.
Speaker 2:
[38:53] Yeah. You think that Rosie wanted to cause drama because she was looking for a moment trying to produce?
Speaker 1:
[38:58] Yes.
Speaker 2:
[38:58] Ding, ding, ding. Okay. But to counterpoint that, because she was trying to produce, Cece took the bait.
Speaker 1:
[39:07] She sure did. She sure did.
Speaker 2:
[39:09] That was riveting because I was watching this going, how did we get here? Slash, I'm glad we made it. Then I thought, can you operate those railways intoxicated? Because I know they were not doing the three miles back. It was dark at that point. The sun was setting.
Speaker 1:
[39:24] They definitely didn't take the railway back. Cece got in her car. She had a couple of snacks, maybe perhaps a Fig Newton.
Speaker 2:
[39:32] A carb.
Speaker 1:
[39:34] Some nuts. She rode home and told Billy, I'm not having sex with you and I'm watching Love Island. Leave me alone.
Speaker 2:
[39:43] Beyond the Villa has started.
Speaker 1:
[39:47] My final point is we don't need Dolores. I'm wondering because we found out recently that they edit up to the minute it feels like. We were finding that out with Summer House. I'm wondering if Bravo was listening because it didn't feel like Dolores was in the episode that much. She was on this railroad thing, but we really didn't see her. She had one line at the end.
Speaker 2:
[40:10] I also thought too, was she a last man ad? Why are we doing this roadway, railway thing with seven people? Now again, thank God Rulla got to be in the back and make the stiff cocktails. But if we're doing a two, two, two, did we need Dolores? I also think too, I don't mind Dolores in this capacity. As a friend of who's present but not pushing storylines, that's fine. If the rumor is true too, that Rulla was a friend of and then all this stuff came out, and so they promoted her to a full-time housewife. It's like maybe it all worked out in the end.
Speaker 1:
[40:44] I'd also be curious, they cast all these people and they probably to start, don't even say they're going to be the housewife. They don't know who's going to be the friend of to start. I feel like that comes out later, perhaps. I will say I appreciated Dolores and Liz's conversation in the kitchen at the beginning. Like that makes sense to me, but I don't really need her in the group stuff.
Speaker 2:
[41:07] Yeah, but I don't mind her in the small capacity that we're getting, and I think that this is the perfect amount. And I think too, now that, and you could be right because now that New Jersey is being rebooted and Dolores is over there, I do wonder, are they re-editing to take her out a little bit more because now she has a place, even I think on Watch What Happens Live with Erika, they had asked, do you like Dolores on Rhode Island? And I think Erika said, how is she connected to Rhode Island? And Andy's like, she's friends with Liz. Like where, she was like, oh yeah, no, that's great. Okay, sorry, sorry, daddy. Sorry, papa, lo siento. Adios, mis amigos, hasta mañana.
Speaker 1:
[41:53] Well, Rhode Island, episode four, Firing on All Fucking Cylinders, it's a good one and we'll be back later this week.
