Speaker 2:
[01:15] Reality with The King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, the Love & Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap Reality Television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. So Raindrops, on today's episode, Reality with The King, I told Monica, Mike, I need to press record because she and I was just about to exclaim over how good Rhode Island is. And we're only four episodes in. I mean, if you're not on my Patreon watching this, you need to see MoniCarlo back giving you girls a show. And you gays, and you days, and you guys, too. So, Monica, like-

Speaker 3:
[02:18] It was so good. I, look, they are really fucking doing it. Like, I'll be honest, every single episode, it's just, I know that we keep saying it, but it's so true, the onion, it's just more, it's giving more, and more, and more, and more. And you don't think that it will, like, you know? And I'm sure we'll stop like a, but it was, I actually loved this episode. I loved this episode.

Speaker 2:
[02:49] This one was just as good. I mean, all the episodes have been good, right? My favorite will always be the first episode up until this one. Yes. But I agree with you. I think four, four, to me, was the second best. In terms of, it's what you said, the onions were peeled back and we got to know a little bit more. And listen, as a producer who did season one of Jersey, and season one of Atlanta Housewives. Yeah. I'm here to say to you guys that Rhode Island is, oh, I can't believe I'm about to say this. What? Carlos King is going to go on the record saying this, of all the Housewives Franchises, I will always say Atlanta gave the best first season, episode one, premiere, whatever. I will say Jersey was number two. I'm going to give Rhode Island number three. It's one of the best first episode of a season. Oh my God. I'm going to tell you why. It's raw. Yeah. It's raw. It reminded me of, again, I did Jersey season one. It reminded me of when Danielle Stahl, but Monica, when she, in her opening intro, and Danielle is so sweet, she always gives me the credit. And you know, I'm like, I don't need the credit, girl, but if you want to give it to me, thank you. She wore a two-piece bikini and some heels, walking through her pool. And she always said, Carlos King said, because she said, which shoes should I wear? I said, bitch, the heels, if I had to. You know what I mean? But just raw and real. And I do feel like those days are missing in terms of the rawness and Rhode Island girlies. Congratulations. And I do not want you guys to change. Please don't change.

Speaker 3:
[04:53] I literally sat there in one of the scenes and I'm sure we'll get into it. It was towards that. It was the very last scene. And I just was like, damn, I got lost in this. Like I forgot that I was, like it is, it's so, it feels so authentic, so raw, so real. It feels like real friendships that they're trying to navigate. It's also real new friendships. And this could be like controversial, I'm sure. But nowadays with like other franchises of Housewives, it's very, it feels very self-produced, very orchestrated, very planned, and several teams slash alliances. And they go into a season like we're going to have each other's backs. You know, like it's just, it feels very much like that. And this is the polar opposite. And I just, I love it. I actually, I love it. I've enjoyed it so much.

Speaker 2:
[06:06] And there's nothing, you know what's so interesting? There's nothing controversial about that because we need to get back to the days of being real. And I could not agree with you more. I was talking to a friend of mine who's in the business. We literally spoke this morning just marvelling at like how things used to be. And your name came up in the conversation, Monica.

Speaker 3:
[06:28] Uh-oh. Uh-oh. That's never good.

Speaker 2:
[06:31] No. Oh, no, no, no. It was a good thing. It was a good thing. We were talking about, because one of my friends is like, what's the big deal about Salt Lake City? I don't see the big deal. I don't see the big deal because this person doesn't, she checks in and out of it.

Speaker 3:
[06:48] Don't get me started on my opinion of that bitch. I've been so good.

Speaker 2:
[06:51] No, no, no, no, no, no, I know. But I had to tell you why your name came up. Yeah. But long story short, we're going to move on to talk about Rhode Island raindrops. But a lot of people did not enjoy last season at all.

Speaker 3:
[07:10] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[07:10] Right?

Speaker 3:
[07:11] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[07:12] You and I recapped it and we had our strong opinions about it as well. I said to her, I said, well, what's unfortunate is I felt like Salt Lake City was headed in the right direction when Monica was on because she felt like they don't have any personal story. Nobody has personal story. And I said, well, I understand if you're watching the last season, while you would say that, I said, but what I will say to you is there was this woman named Monica Garcia. She was like, Carlos, I know who Monica is. I'm not like under a rock. Yeah. I said, she brought something so amazing to the show. Where was personal story? She brought her mom. She admitted to fucking her brother-in-law. Being that you're sort of like, wait, what is this shit?

Speaker 3:
[08:04] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[08:05] And I said, that's the reason why we all gagged over her. And once again, the reason why she was covered in the Los Angeles Times as well, darling. So anyway, I say that to say, and it's what you said earlier, like genuine friendships were all in our mind and our desire to see more of that. Because let me tell you something. Yeah. We'll get to this in a second, but baby, that Alicia. Alicia, come get your baddie chain. Because at first I was like, Rue La La and Liz are the villains, slash stars, slash queen bees. But Alicia gave us a show. She popped off. Before we get to-

Speaker 3:
[08:51] I do still think though that Liz is like the anchor. I don't know why. To me, she really is the anchor of it. I don't know. I love her. I love her.

Speaker 2:
[09:01] No, I love her down. So speaking of Liz, you know, Liz opens it up with talking to Dolores. And you know what's so funny? I love Dolores. I love her. No, I love her so much. I love her so much.

Speaker 3:
[09:15] Dololo. She's amazing.

Speaker 2:
[09:17] Or Dololo. But what I will say is, I don't think she's needed. I want to see Dolores back on Jersey, and she is coming back. So congratulations.

Speaker 3:
[09:33] But I know. I'm so glad she's going back.

Speaker 2:
[09:36] I don't need Dolores. I don't need Dolores introducing me to these girls. I'm here for the girls. I don't need Dolores to carry them into our world. Liz is that girl. Liz is the anchor. Look, Liz is confirming that Kelsey and Dino had an intimate relationship, which we discovered in this episode, as Liz and Kelsey were even talking that Kelsey, again, the rawness, baby, Kelsey's like, look, I cheated on my boyfriend with Dino. Look, Dino got too obsessed with the WAP. Yeah.

Speaker 3:
[10:24] I was like, wow, I did not see that turn where she was like, he started showing up at places I would be. I'm like, what? I did not see that coming. So no wonder, which is what you and I talked about last time, that we're like, something must have happened with them, like Dino and Kelsey, to where it's affecting Kelsey and Liz. Because Liz is obviously going to ride hard for- Oh.

Speaker 2:
[10:49] Oh. Pun intended, or fruit in slip, or wishful thinking, or.

Speaker 3:
[11:02] Dino?

Speaker 2:
[11:03] Liz is writing. Dino's writing hard. Liz is too, bitch. Oh my God. I'm sorry. Liz, I love you.

Speaker 3:
[11:12] We love you. We love you.

Speaker 2:
[11:14] You are the anchor.

Speaker 3:
[11:15] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[11:16] Liz, you are more than welcome . Reality with The King podcast with me and Monica, but I will say, Liz, I think y'all banged. But my opinion, my opinion, he either banged you, he ate you, he did something to you, baby. He touched it, whispered to it.

Speaker 3:
[11:33] Kitty, kitty, purr, honey. There was something going on, because... Yeah. I mean, she did say this episode that, you know, they sold the boat, and she said he would go on, Jerry would go on these sports fishermen trips, where he would be gone for three weeks, a month at a time or whatever. And when he was gone long, he would go to Dino and say, hey, I'm going to be gone a long time. Look out for her. He's like, say less. I'm on my way. Wait, I'm already here. What do you mean? Let me roll over and just tell her real quick. He said we have permission.

Speaker 1:
[12:29] I said we needed it.

Speaker 2:
[12:31] Monica, you are hilarious. Monica, I don't know much about the straight community. I need your help on this one. Because in the gay community, I'm not calling my boy saying, hey, look out for my man while I'm out hosting podcast, festivals and shit. No, I don't care how I find it quite strange that.

Speaker 3:
[13:00] I'm calling my best friend to sit in front of the house to make sure he's not bringing a hoe over while I'm gone. But you stay your ass downstairs in the car, and he stays upstairs, who is?

Speaker 2:
[13:15] Like, what are we even doing here? So the idea that Jerry gave Dino the permission to walk over his wife while he travels, it is weird to me. It's sort of insexual, and that's why for me, listen, I feel like there's more to it.

Speaker 3:
[13:34] There is.

Speaker 2:
[13:35] Okay, knowing that Kelsey slept with Dino while she was with her boyfriend, who's how she lives in, and knowing that he was stalking her, pretty much stalking her, like he was stalking her, you know?

Speaker 3:
[13:51] Allegedly, according to her.

Speaker 2:
[13:54] I feel like Liz was jealous of that.

Speaker 3:
[13:58] I got the same thing.

Speaker 2:
[14:00] Right? Liz was jealous.

Speaker 3:
[14:03] In fact, when they were having that conversation, Carlos, I was like, is this going to go into a fight? Is this going to turn into a fight? Is Liz going to start now defending and being like, don't talk like that about him. You know, he does that. Like I literally was expecting retaliation. Yeah. I thought the same thing. Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[14:22] Yeah. I don't buy this idea that, listen, I said this before, I think Jerry, Liz and Dino said, look, these Bravo fans are going to investigate everything because that's what they do, and we need to make sure we have the exact same story. Let's repeat it three times, and this is it. I think while Kelsey was in the bedouin with Dino, I think Kelsey knows a lot, and I think, listen, I think in Kelsey's defense, I think Kelsey was truly trying to look out for Liz, like, don't give the audience more, like, I know you're a secret bitch, and I'm not going to say it. I got you, girl. You're like my grandmother. You're like my mentor. I got your back. But to know that now, Kelsey slept with him, to know now that Dino was talking to her, and all that shit, I strongly believe Liz was jealous, Liz and Dino bang bang, booty bop bop, boom boom boom boom. And...

Speaker 3:
[15:29] Let the beat drop. That was like, boom boom boom, give me that boom boom boom.

Speaker 2:
[15:36] That's like a beef. Oh, he got the black eye. He.

Speaker 3:
[15:45] Better get, get.

Speaker 2:
[15:49] Will I? Yeah, buddy. There's a way. This is Reality with The King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show.

Speaker 3:
[16:02] I will tell you though, I'm about to like, okay, this is a perfect segue because bitch, please tell me if I understood this wrong.

Speaker 2:
[16:10] Go ahead.

Speaker 3:
[16:12] Joe Allen, Carlos.

Speaker 2:
[16:14] Monica.

Speaker 3:
[16:15] Tell me if I heard this correctly. Does she have her sister, who used to be with her husband, that she took her husband from the sister, hold down the house and play house with her man, cooking, cleaning, kidding, doing all the things while her ass is out of town? Did I hear that wrong? Is that fucking for real?

Speaker 2:
[16:49] You heard everything correct. No, Joellen's sister, Jen. Who? Okay. So Raindrops, remember Jen and wait, what's his name?

Speaker 3:
[17:02] Joellen.

Speaker 2:
[17:03] Sorry, Joellen. No, no, no. So Jen and Gary, Joellen's husband, dated first.

Speaker 3:
[17:09] Yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay.

Speaker 2:
[17:11] Joellen, then, I'm not going to say she took her sister's man, but she ended up marrying the guy that her sister dated.

Speaker 3:
[17:24] That's a long way of saying she took her sister's man, honey.

Speaker 2:
[17:28] Look, me trying to be sweet about it like yikes on the bikes. Joellen, I also love you too. Now, with that being said, Joellen took her sister's man, ended up marrying him, then tells us, yeah, they had something. Maybe he touched her boob once. What in the Dino list is going on here? I'm so confused. Then on top of that, you mention, because listen, it's all about the things you say or that you don't say. When you say y'all weren't close, y'all did not get close until 2010 when your father passed away.

Speaker 3:
[18:05] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[18:07] Y'all weren't close because you took your sister's man and you ended up marrying him. That's why y'all weren't close. You left that part out, bitch. Y'all ain't close because of that.

Speaker 3:
[18:18] Then on top of that, you acknowledge and we see the flirting between them, the weird, awkward flirting. She's like, I'm not worried. There's nothing going on between them, bitch. Then he's asking for his spermies. Your sister wants to have kids with the man she used to date that you stole from her. Carlos.

Speaker 2:
[18:45] No. Rhode Island. This is why you guys are having- No.

Speaker 3:
[18:54] It's a soap opera.

Speaker 2:
[18:55] It's a soap opera. This is why you're having the best first season since Jersey and Atlanta. It's amazing and we're already four episodes in. Let me tell you something. One of my brothers, I've said to him once as a joke. So his baby mama. So I said to him, because no shame, I'm a little vain. And all my nephews are gorgeous. Oh, this particular.

Speaker 3:
[19:29] I said that because I did the same thing.

Speaker 2:
[19:39] I ain't gonna hold you, Monica. That's why I'm with you, because I get it. But I'm gay, my brother's straight, it's his baby mama. So I said to him, would you be offended if I use your baby mama's eggs to have my kids so that we can keep the family?

Speaker 3:
[19:59] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[20:01] My heterosexual brother got so upset with the idea that his gay brother wanted to use his baby mama's eggs. He got upset and his baby mama was like, first of all, Carlos, A, I think he's joking, B, for the right price, I would do it. But C, I would only do it if you would approve, because they're not married, but they're still together.

Speaker 3:
[20:27] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[20:28] My point is my straight brother was like, I don't want your gay ass to ever think about using my baby mama's eggs. You have your children. So Joellen, you are insane of the membrane. Your sister whose man you stole, you are okay with them joking about using your husband's sperm for your sister? Being alone in the house, that shit is wild.

Speaker 3:
[20:52] Fucking wild. I was watching that whole scene and she's holding the baby or whatever, and she is cooking dinner, and she's like, what am I not doing? I'm like, oh god. Bitch.

Speaker 2:
[21:14] I can tell you what you're not doing when the cameras are rolling.

Speaker 3:
[21:19] Exactly. You picked up what I was putting down. I'm like-

Speaker 2:
[21:24] It was- and listen, this is my thing. I think that, were they in a sauna or something? Or like some pool?

Speaker 3:
[21:32] Yeah, like when they were having the egg conversation. They were in like, yeah, something.

Speaker 2:
[21:37] And he's shirtless?

Speaker 3:
[21:40] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[21:43] And no shit, gear is kind of hot.

Speaker 3:
[21:45] I mean, listen.

Speaker 2:
[21:49] You can't be my mom and shirtless bitch. Like, no, why you want my sister's shirtless?

Speaker 3:
[21:56] That was a great look. As someone that has fucked around with her brother-in-law, this is giving me all kinds of red flags. And I don't know. I don't know, bitch.

Speaker 2:
[22:10] Oh, we know. We know exactly what is going on.

Speaker 3:
[22:15] It will end in excommunication. It will end in divorce. I'm like, oh, Lord, this is...

Speaker 2:
[22:24] Yeah, we need to keep our eyes off of that. And remember, Monica, remember, JoEllen is rumored to be, her husband are rumored to be swingers. Remember?

Speaker 3:
[22:34] I forgot!

Speaker 2:
[22:37] And she made the comment, I mean, we had one threesome. And it's like, okay, With the sister?

Speaker 3:
[22:49] Not us producing a show, bitch.

Speaker 2:
[22:55] You know what needs to be? This fucking podcast needs to be the aftership of Rhode Island, because I'm about to tag all you Rhode Island baddies, because y'all need to understand that you have two people who are invested in this show in a way that no one else is doing it. So Joellen.

Speaker 3:
[23:12] I love it. I love it, we are loving it. So good.

Speaker 2:
[23:16] We need to know Joellen, honey. Was that threesome with Jen, your sister?

Speaker 3:
[23:20] Yep. Yep.

Speaker 2:
[23:21] We need to know. Let us know. But I will love for you girls to come on the podcast to talk to me and Monica about it, because we're fans and we just want to have a good on Kiki.

Speaker 3:
[23:32] Bitch, we're about to fly out there. What the are you talking about? We're going to show up to the coffee shop. We're going to see Jared because he's always there. Okay, wait, actually, I really do want to give a special shout out. I do want to give an honorable mention this episode to Ashley, because we haven't really talked about her much on the podcast. And this is episode four. And she needs a minute because she is the Monica of this franchise. She doesn't have-

Speaker 2:
[24:05] You don't say that.

Speaker 3:
[24:06] Yeah, okay, here we go. She's got babies. She's the only one with young, young kids. She does not have the same fucking things that these women have. She doesn't have the insane square footage home. She doesn't have the husband that is making millions and millions of dollars to provide. She is doing her work on the side, as well as Jared is doing his work. And she's been very open about the fact that she still has to work as well. She doesn't have all the same designer things. When they filmed the beach scene, where she took them to the beach, and they were like, oh, what is this? I am used to a beach club. What is, what do you, you got me carrying a chair? Like, no, what is this shit? And Ashley's like, they showed up with their designer bags. They showed up in their designer shoes, and I just look like a mom that maybe tried a little. That hit me so hard. And I just shout out to Ashley and Jared. They're being completely honest about the fact that their coffee shop is a money pit.

Speaker 2:
[25:19] Yeah.

Speaker 3:
[25:20] You know, they're, they're giving us a lot and we haven't really touched on her. And I think about it every episode. But I just, I definitely see a lot of myself and my story in what Ashley is giving. And I would also like to point out the fact that it fits and it works. And it's okay to have a housewife that is not in the same financial situation, at a different stage of life, doesn't have the same huge home. It's okay. It's a group of friends. And they're all at different stages in different places and figuring it out. And I just, I, I just, I wanted to give Ashley and Jared a shout out this episode because I really love Bob.

Speaker 2:
[26:02] No, and I'm glad you did that because again, we need to hear more stuff about that. And I just love that you said that. And you know, listen, speaking of the Beach Day.

Speaker 3:
[26:13] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[26:14] You know, so they're there. Baby, the bomb was dropped. It was Alicia who said this, right?

Speaker 3:
[26:25] Oh, I don't remember.

Speaker 2:
[26:27] Rue La La met Brian while he was married to...

Speaker 3:
[26:32] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[26:33] Was that Alicia? That was Alicia, right?

Speaker 3:
[26:35] You don't remember.

Speaker 2:
[26:37] I think it was Alicia. Alicia said that Rue La met Brian, her husband, while he was married to her Spanish teacher, who was- Oh, God, yes. Who was the first wife. So he cheated on his first wife.

Speaker 3:
[26:55] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[26:55] With the Spanish teacher.

Speaker 3:
[26:58] And Alicia said, that makes me really sad because I really liked my Spanish teacher.

Speaker 2:
[27:05] What a zinger.

Speaker 3:
[27:07] And then Ashley said, shout out Ashley, she said, so he's a cheater. And everyone says, yeah, isn't that crazy? And she's like, yeah, he's not even hot.

Speaker 2:
[27:20] So, between us girlfriends.

Speaker 3:
[27:24] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[27:25] I was thinking the same thing since episode one. Now, Rula, do you boo? You know, it is what it is. But for Brian to be such a cheater, cheater pumpkin eater.

Speaker 3:
[27:36] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[27:37] It's sort of like, okay, girls, what is it about Brian to where y'all giving him the goods?

Speaker 3:
[27:45] You mean, it's the money. Come on. Now, side note, I did find a picture of the mistress in true Reality Von T's form, okay? And I did send it to Carlos and I was dying because allegedly, she, the mistress, took a photo on the home belt and knee on Rue La La's home and posted it on her Instagram. Coincidentally, okay, RVT going deep at the same time that Rue La La, same day, was out of town. Bitch. So, Rue La La posted, oh, I'm over here, I'm doing over this in this other city. And the mistress posted, bitch, and I'm on your balcony. I'm telling you, I went down the rabbit hole.

Speaker 2:
[28:46] You can't make this shit. Well, listen, you're not the only one that went down a rabbit hole.

Speaker 3:
[28:51] No, I'm not. It was a lot of places. Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[28:54] Brian's going down a few holes, if you know what I mean. Rabbit, rabbit. At least your holes are rabbits. Brian's going down a little too many few holes for RuPaul's liking, OK? Because the thing is this, to know that he's a cheetah, cheetah, pumpkin eater, on top of that, when they have that little lunch with the aunties, by the way, love the aunties. I want to see the aunties in every episode. I love that.

Speaker 3:
[29:21] I love it so much, and that's what I was saying, like Salt Lake in particular is totally missing, that whole, oh, I love it. I love it so much.

Speaker 2:
[29:29] It's like family and tradition.

Speaker 3:
[29:31] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[29:32] What I loved about it was you had like these older women who are like, we lived and we understand it, and one of them said like, yeah, my husband stepped out, and then the other one said, you know, look, mine did too. So, Rue La La-

Speaker 3:
[29:48] No, because that's not what they said. What they said, and my quote was, he wandered. Right. He wandered. He wandered. He wandered? What did he want? He wandered?

Speaker 2:
[30:00] I was so close to-

Speaker 3:
[30:01] He wandered. He wandered.

Speaker 2:
[30:07] I too was confused. I'm like, he wandered? What the fuck are you talking about? Only for her to be mispronouncing wandered. And listen, bitch, I'm with you, girl. I mispronounce words all the time. So, but I was definitely-

Speaker 3:
[30:21] I loved it, wandered, wandered. Confused by that.

Speaker 2:
[30:23] It's the accent.

Speaker 3:
[30:25] It's the accent.

Speaker 2:
[30:26] But I love it.

Speaker 3:
[30:27] It's so nice. I love it so much. And at that lunch, they got into it deep with, look, Alicia's situation.

Speaker 2:
[30:35] Yeah. What are your thoughts on that? So, like, obviously we're talking about the fact that he doesn't want to put her house- I mean, her name on the house. Yeah. Like, he has, like, no desire to do that. The prenup, all of those things, like, what are your thoughts?

Speaker 3:
[30:52] I'm weirded out by it.

Speaker 2:
[30:54] Yeah.

Speaker 3:
[30:54] I really am, only because they do have a child together. And if anything happens to him and her, you're okay with your child than, like, being homeless. I don't know. It's weird to me because I completely understand divorces get so ugly. I completely understand needing a post-nup, prenup, any kind of nup. But to not even leave her some kind of home, and then even the business. She's not anywhere on the business. Oh, it doesn't sit right in my soul. It's weird. It's weird to me. Because especially when they were like, it was your idea. You came up with it. You named it. You designed it. What is happening? I did have a thought though, Carlos.

Speaker 2:
[31:50] What?

Speaker 3:
[31:51] It reminded me a lot of Bronwyn. When Bronwyn was bringing out specific things on the show, that you and I were like, she's doing this on purpose. She's da-da-da-da. I'm like, is she doing this on purpose? Is there a reason why she's-

Speaker 2:
[32:10] You know what's different? You tell me if you agree with me.

Speaker 3:
[32:13] Okay.

Speaker 2:
[32:15] I don't think Alicia is that savvy. Bronwyn always gave me, you don't give me downs and distress, bitch. Bronwyn, even Bronwyn was doing her thing, crying in the cherries and all that shit. I looked at Bronwyn, bitch, you're in on it, so am I. Alicia doesn't give me that she's that savvy like Bronwyn is. What do you think?

Speaker 3:
[32:39] I agree, and then I raise you. She's got a Liz in her corner.

Speaker 2:
[32:47] That's true.

Speaker 3:
[32:49] Where I think Liz would be like, and Liz and Dolores are, and Dolores, she is the game at this point. She's part of the blueprint of Housewives, and they could be helping her. I don't know. They could be like, look, this is what you, I don't know. She's, that was hard to watch when she was, when they were doing their little, I'm going to pretend like I'm him in front of the bonfire, and she was like, I'm going to cry. Like she was standing up to her husband in essence, as to why she deserved to have her name on the business, as to why she deserved to have her name on the home. That, that seemed very, again, raw, very raw, very, very raw. And yeah, it was, it was somewhat painful to watch, for sure, to have, in 2026, kind of an outdated mentality. to have, in 2026, kind of an outdated mentality. Yeah, it was interesting.

Speaker 2:
[33:53] No, it's everything you're saying. And for me, it really did show, like, I give Alicia so much props for even like talking about it. You know what I mean? For the world to see. And like even Rula, like when they're giving her advice, like, you know, based on our experience, you know, are you listening? And she says, I'm listening. And I'm looking at her like, you're not listening.

Speaker 3:
[34:15] Like, no, I mean, they were like, you demand it. You demand it. And she's like, yeah, yeah. It was, it was hard. That was, that was hard, but it was real and raw. And I'm sure a lot more people than we know of deal with that. Um, I will say, yeah. What were your thoughts on another alleged affair coming out?

Speaker 2:
[34:40] Wait, which one was this one?

Speaker 3:
[34:41] Okay, in the car ride where she's talking about how she, I think it was Rosie, talking about how she worked. And then she went on medical leave and was like, oh, I'm not going back. And then she was like, oh, we all know why you didn't go back because you had an affair with a higher up. Bitch, I want to know, okay, we need a ticker. We need a ticker for how many affairs? Because there are too many to keep track of at this point. I love it. But there are too many to keep track of. I'm like, oh, there's another one. Okay. Bitch.

Speaker 2:
[35:20] Do you think Rosie had an affair with a higher up?

Speaker 3:
[35:24] I don't know. I think it's going to, definitely be addressed again.

Speaker 2:
[35:30] This is the thing with Rosie. I like Rosie. Rosie is like that likeable personality that our reality show needs, like that one who's just like super sweet. She has like bambi eyes.

Speaker 3:
[35:42] Like Whitney Rose. She's like Whitney Rose.

Speaker 2:
[35:45] Yes. That's a great comparison. You know, like Whitney Rose, she's so likable. Like you're sort of like, okay, girl, doesn't, you know, I mean, means well, doesn't like, I feel like Whitney is sort of like, I'm just here to do my job and go home. Like I like everybody. Rosie gives me that. But because of that, because the thing is this, speaking of Whitney Rose, didn't Whitney cheat or?

Speaker 3:
[36:14] Well, she met Justin when she was like a secretary for him or something like that, I believe. And they had an affair and then they got married.

Speaker 2:
[36:24] Yes.

Speaker 3:
[36:25] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[36:25] So she's like how you're up. Like Rosie Electra.

Speaker 3:
[36:30] Not me doing what you did earlier. I'm taking the long way around the point.

Speaker 2:
[36:36] Not in real life. I'm like, that's why we see Weedy Rosa. I'm like, oh, yeah, it gives that. Rosie based on these four episodes.

Speaker 3:
[36:44] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[36:45] Hey, Rosie. Rosie gives me that she definitely did that. It's just because she just gives me that sort of like, I was swayed and I get it and I regret it. I'm a news anchor. It's not the best thing. But what we learned with the affair that happened at Good Morning America between TJ Holmes and Amy Robach, shit does happen.

Speaker 3:
[37:23] It does.

Speaker 2:
[37:23] But I think she definitely could have had a situation like that.

Speaker 3:
[37:29] Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[37:31] Which it sounds like.

Speaker 3:
[37:33] Maybe spent a blip on it. It was one second. It was like, another affair. Okay. We're just going to keep driving the bus. Wait, can you back up? Wait a second. You just ran that red light. Can you go back and redo that? What?

Speaker 2:
[37:52] That's what should have happened.

Speaker 3:
[37:54] I know. That was crazy. But I will say, so they're driving, they're going on their little carts, their little train, bike things or whatever. I was on my ass laughing when I see Rue La La. And she's just making the whole cart drinks while the other girls are peddling their asses off. I was dying. I'm like, this is so fucking funny. It was hilarious. And then we get to the climax, Carlos, which is-

Speaker 2:
[38:25] Talk about it, baby. Let's talk about it.

Speaker 3:
[38:27] Our girl Alicia, honey. And the fucking troll accusations come out, which we all know I am very familiar with being called a fucking troll, honey. So we have Alicia versus Rosie and it pops off. It pops off because Alicia clocked Rosie's ass real quick when Rosie was trying to cause issues with Alicia and Liz. They were going at it. Alicia lost it. It was like next level. She was like, you're a fucking whore. Welcome to Rhode Island, bitch. This is how we do it here. You're a troll.

Speaker 2:
[39:12] Everything I needed. My question for you is this. Do you, okay.

Speaker 3:
[39:17] Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[39:19] Do you think Alicia overreacted? Because for me, what I got from it was well, bitch, you are scared of Liz. You are doing clearly. Right? I got like, Rosie wasn't wrong, bitch. You're scared of Liz. The way you overreacted, like you said, Monica, the way she's like, she called her a thirsty bitch. Welcome to Rhode Island, bitch. This is how we roll.

Speaker 3:
[39:45] Yep.

Speaker 2:
[39:46] I'm like, I don't think Rosie deserves all of this only because she's talking about the fact that you also mentioned that Liz is a little...

Speaker 3:
[39:57] You walk on eggshells.

Speaker 2:
[39:59] Yes.

Speaker 3:
[40:00] Yes. Yep. And she did say that. And Alicia was like, you're a fucking liar. And it's like, well, actually she's not.

Speaker 2:
[40:08] Who does the best access by the way?

Speaker 3:
[40:15] She's like, I'm not a liar. You said that. And she did.

Speaker 2:
[40:19] No, she 1,000% said it.

Speaker 3:
[40:21] Yes. Yes. So that struck me as, oh, you are scared. Like your reaction right now is only proving the point that you are terrified that you just went against Liz. The anchor, which I get.

Speaker 2:
[40:40] And to your point, the woman who actually is helping you get your affairs, no pun intended, your affairs in order, because this show, we have to be very clear, we will use that fucking word, your affairs in order based on your baby, because that's not your husband, it's your baby daddy.

Speaker 3:
[40:59] Yep, yep.

Speaker 2:
[41:01] You know?

Speaker 3:
[41:01] Yep.

Speaker 2:
[41:02] So to go against her, I'm afraid of Liz. Me too, bitch. I'm afraid of Liz through this fucking Zoom.

Speaker 3:
[41:10] Me too, I'm scared. Every time we say something, I'm like, I hope we didn't make Liz mad.

Speaker 2:
[41:15] But the way she, it was, but you know what was so good about it, and this is my favorite part. Although she went in on it, on Rosie.

Speaker 3:
[41:27] Yes.

Speaker 2:
[41:27] I did love the fact that she took Rosie aside and said, okay, let's talk. Let's talk. She didn't carry it on for multiple episodes. She was just like-

Speaker 3:
[41:40] No, Mitch, they were hugging.

Speaker 2:
[41:42] But that's, but it's what you said earlier. What makes these ensemble shows so good is when you can have a disagreement like that but still find a way for commonality. Because the biggest thing for me was I just, I did not think that Rosie meant anything by it. And when Rosie was explaining herself to Alicia, I was like, yeah, she didn't, she was just like bringing it up because she wanted to help you out a little bit.

Speaker 3:
[42:14] Yeah, I mean, she was calling her snake eyes. And then poor Rosie's like, cause I have smoke in my eyes. The smoke is blowing in my eyes. I have snake eyes. I was like, that's fair. Because she was, I was watching the smoke just blow right in her face that whole time. And I'm like, oh, I know that burns. Yeah. You and your snakey eyes over there. Oh my God.

Speaker 2:
[42:45] This, I mean, that's why this episode to me, like you said, was the best because we're still getting more tea out of these ladies. It's still unexpected in terms of, I did not see Alicia going at, um, Rosie the way she did.

Speaker 3:
[43:08] Rosie handled it amazingly, by the way.

Speaker 2:
[43:10] She did a perfect, she did a fantastic job. Like it wasn't, it wasn't like, fuck you bitch. It was more so like, I'm confused by your behavior. This is why you're doing it again. Again, I think she did it because she's afraid of Liz and she didn't want Liz to turn on her. All of the things was happening. So for me, it was just that. But kudos to Rosie for handling Alicia that way. And Alicia, you are now on my radar bitch. I'm here for you.

Speaker 3:
[43:41] Yeah. I agree with you as far as like being able to have a freaking fight and then make up and get back down to business. Because that shit happens in sisterhood and friendships every day. So yeah, it was it was amazing. And just like the preview for next week looks absolutely insane. Yeah.

Speaker 2:
[44:06] Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:
[44:06] Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:
[44:07] No, they're not letting up.

Speaker 3:
[44:09] No, there's alleged pictures of the mistress. Rue La La's little situation she's got going on, of Rue La La's husband and mistress, current and the husband says, I'm not doing this on camera, let's go.

Speaker 2:
[44:25] He wants, he wants no parts. And what I'm, what I am curious about is if we're going to find out on the reunion, if he's like, if they're separated. And the only, listen, I love you, Rue La La. I don't, I don't see Rue La La leaving him. I see him leaving her solely because of this show. And the attention he's getting at work. He, you want to call Joe Welland's job to get her fired. Karma's a bitch because you have to go to work every single day knowing that everybody is whispering about you and they're, and they're laughing at you.

Speaker 3:
[45:10] Yep. And this is the thing, everyone's always like, well, you knew what you were getting into and you knew what you were signing up for. No, you do to a certain extent, but no, you underestimate all the people around you. You underestimate your own fucking family, your own inner circle, they do you dirty like you never saw coming. You underestimate your own spouse. You underestimate the people you called friends that, I mean, he probably didn't think Joellen was going to fucking take it to hell.

Speaker 2:
[45:41] No, he did not even realize that. And listen, I think one of the things where people really do believe that, okay, we have the ability to control narrative, you do to a certain extent, but the problem is the Bravo fans ain't going to let you hold up. No.

Speaker 3:
[46:00] And the problem is, is once you start, once you start filming, it is, it's different. It's just, it's different because people start bringing up stuff that you didn't ever think was going to be brought up, or they take things further than you thought they would have stopped 10 minutes ago. And you know, it just, it just, yeah. It's difficult.

Speaker 2:
[46:27] It's difficult. It's difficult. But listen, we're going to see what happens next week. But baby, Brian's like, fuck this. I'm out. I can't, I just can't, I just can't, I just can't, I just can't. So look, as we sort of deal with all of this, Monica, MoniCarlo, we're back next week. This is, I'm having too much fun. And there's so many people who are like, There's so many people, seriously, I'm not exaggerating, who are saying they're watching Rhode Island because of you and I.

Speaker 3:
[46:58] That makes me so happy. Seriously, it really does. And like, we're not bullshitting. This show is that good. Like, it is so good. It's completely shocked us. I did not think I would even like it. And I, the cast, everything, it's all, it's perfection. It's so good.

Speaker 2:
[47:15] It's so good. It's good. Shout out to the ladies. And Monica, we are back next Monday, boo.

Speaker 3:
[47:22] Monday with MoniCarlo.

Speaker 2:
[47:24] Mondays with MoniCarlo. That's right. All good. I love you. And I'll see you next week.

Speaker 3:
[47:29] I love you. Bye.
