Speaker 1:
[00:03] The Nickelodeon Original Podcast.
Speaker 2:
[00:16] Paw Patrol, Ryder here.
Speaker 3:
[00:21] Hi, Ryder. It's Farmer Yumi. Oh, no.
Speaker 2:
[00:26] Farmer Yumi, you sound sick.
Speaker 3:
[00:30] It's because I am sick. It's just a cold, so I'll be back to my farm in no time. But right now, I need to take a nap and rest.
Speaker 2:
[00:42] That's right. You need to rest up when you're sick.
Speaker 3:
[00:45] Uh-huh. That's why I'm calling. I need the Paw Patrol's help. I've been growing my carrots all season for the Adventure Bay Fair's Carrot Competition, but it's today. If I can't harvest my carrot crop and get them to the fair in time, I've lost my chance for the year.
Speaker 1:
[01:04] Ah-choo!
Speaker 3:
[01:05] Oh, beach fuss.
Speaker 2:
[01:07] Don't worry, Farmer Yumi. The Paw Patrol is on it. No job is too big, no pup is too small.
Speaker 3:
[01:14] Ah, I knew you'd be the one to call.
Speaker 2:
[01:17] Now rest up. It's time for the Paw Patrol to harvest some carrots. I spy with my little eye the newest member of the Paw Patrol. It's you, Paw Pal, and we're so excited you made it. Listen up, Farmer Uli needs the Paw Patrol's help today. Will you help us? Great! Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff!
Speaker 3:
[02:20] Paw Patrol, ready for action, Rider, sir.
Speaker 2:
[02:23] Thanks, Chase. Pops, Farmer Uli is feeling sick, which means she can't harvest her carrots in time for the carrot competition at the Adventure Bay Fair.
Speaker 3:
[02:34] But the carrot competition at Adventure Bay is today!
Speaker 2:
[02:38] Exactly, which is why we're here to help. For this mission, I'm going to need...
Speaker 3:
[02:44] Rubble.
Speaker 2:
[02:45] Rubble, I need you to use the scoop on your construction truck to dig up the carrots from the farm as quickly as you can. Rubble on the double! And Marshall. Once Rubble has dug up those carrots, I'll need you to bring them to the fair as soon as possible. I'm fired up! All right! No job is too big, no pup is too small. Say it with me. Paw Patrol is on a roll! Paw Patrol is on a roll! Let's do this! Today you get to go in Rubble's construction truck. That's pawesome! Make sure to buckle up! Because these pups are always on the move. Nice seatbelt. I'm so glad you've joined the PAW Patrol today, because we really need your help on this one. Before we go, I think we should honk my horn. Squeeze my truck's horn to make a big honk. Pawsome, now press on my pedal to make this truck go, go, go. Let's go save Farmer Yumi's special carrots. Rubble, on the double. Use your hands to steer my steering wheel. Pawsome, you're doing a great job driving. Look out your window. Farmer Yumi's farm is flat, green, and there's lots of animals. Do you see any land that's flat and green?
Speaker 1:
[04:44] Nice!
Speaker 2:
[04:46] Do you hear any farm animals, like a goat or chickens? I spy with my little eye something that is flat, green, and has lots of animals. It's Farmer Yumi's farm. Hi, chickens. Hi, goats. Take a look. There are so many little green plants growing from the ground. Hmm. We're looking for carrots. What color are carrots? Yeah! Carrots are orange. But I don't see any carrots. Listen, do you hear that? That siren doesn't sound like Marshall's siren. Which pup's siren could that be? It's Chase!
Speaker 3:
[05:50] Chase is on the case.
Speaker 2:
[05:52] Chase, we're trying to find former Yumi's carrots, but all we can see are these little green plants poking out of the ground.
Speaker 3:
[06:00] Those little green plants poking out of the ground are carrots.
Speaker 2:
[06:06] What? But carrots are orange, not green.
Speaker 3:
[06:10] They are orange. The green you see is just the top part of the carrot. That's the part that sticks out of the ground. The orange part is actually under the ground. Here, use your construction truck to dig one up.
Speaker 2:
[06:25] A tasty carrot?
Speaker 3:
[06:27] I can dig it!
Speaker 2:
[06:29] Okay, you can help me and Chase by using your paws or hands to make scoops so we can dig together. Dig, dig, dig! I see it, I see a carrot, but it's not orange. It's the same color as the soil.
Speaker 3:
[06:52] That's because we need to wash it off.
Speaker 1:
[06:54] Hmm.
Speaker 3:
[06:56] How do you think we can wash off the carrot?
Speaker 2:
[07:01] Hmm, I know that siren. If Chase is here with us, who else in the PAW Patrol has a siren?
Speaker 3:
[07:13] I'm ready for a ruff-ruff rescue.
Speaker 2:
[07:15] It's Marshall. Hi, Marshall. Can you help us clean off this carrot? Sure thing. You can help me by turning the water on. Turn the handle on my firetruck to turn it on. Ready? One, two, three. Turn the handle. It's spraying. Great job. It really is spraying. And spraying and spraying.
Speaker 1:
[07:47] My hose is out of control.
Speaker 2:
[07:54] Let's turn off Marshall's hose.
Speaker 1:
[07:57] One, two, three.
Speaker 2:
[08:00] Turn the handle with both hands.
Speaker 3:
[08:06] Nice work!
Speaker 2:
[08:07] Whoa! I'm okay. Whoa! The water washed the carrot off. And look, that carrot is orange. And looks really delicious. Thank you for showing me.
Speaker 3:
[08:22] Now that this one is washed and ready to eat, take a bite.
Speaker 2:
[08:30] Now, that's tasty!
Speaker 3:
[08:32] And carrot-y!
Speaker 2:
[08:35] Now that we got one carrot out of the ground, we need to get the rest of the carrots out of the ground. And we better do it quickly so we can get to the Adventure Bay Affairs Carrot Competition. That means we need to drive into the middle of Farmer Yumi's carrot field to get them. Let's buckle up and head out. Whoa, driving in their farm or Yumi's field isn't like driving around Adventure Bay at all. It's really, really bumpy. Hold on to your seat to help stay still during the bumps. Hit the brakes. Eye-Spy with my little eye, lots and lots and lots of carrot plants. It looks like there could be over a hundred carrots. Good thing you're here to help me dig. Let's make scoops with our hands and paws and dig, dig, dig all these yummy, crunchy carrots out of the ground. Ooh, don't stop digging. Keep going. We need to dig up all of Farmer Yumi's carrots. We're almost done digging the carrots.
Speaker 3:
[10:17] We did it.
Speaker 2:
[10:18] Phew, we can put our hands and paws down. Rub them together to get the soil off. Now we have all of Farmer Yumi's carrots, but they're all dirty. I know. Let's call Marshall over here so we can get them all clean. Ready? One, two, three. Marshall. Whoa, look at all the carrots you dug up over here. Nice work. Thanks. All we need now to get them ready is to wash them. Remember how you turned on the water on my firetruck? I'll need you to turn the handle with your muscles to do it again. Ready? One, two, three. Turn, turn, turn the handle. Nice job, it's working. All of the carrots are getting clean. And now they're orange.
Speaker 3:
[11:34] Now turn the handle off. Great teamwork, everyone.
Speaker 2:
[11:40] Woo-hoo!
Speaker 3:
[11:41] These carrots look PAWsome.
Speaker 2:
[11:44] But this is a lot of carrots. Pawsome!
Speaker 3:
[12:04] I can go fast, but I can only bring a pool full of carrots on my police 4x4.
Speaker 2:
[12:10] I can go fast on my fire truck. Oh, yeah. Marshall, your fire truck can go really fast. My fire truck can carry a lot of carrots.
Speaker 3:
[12:21] Let's use both my police 4x4 and Marshall's fire truck to bring the carrots to the fair. That way, we can take all of Farmer Yumi's carrots and get there really soon.
Speaker 2:
[12:31] We can use my shovel to scoop carrots into Marshall's fire truck. But we have to move fast. Get your hands out and scoop, scoop, scoop.
Speaker 3:
[12:45] Keep scooping.
Speaker 1:
[12:48] The carrots are almost in my fire truck.
Speaker 2:
[12:54] Don't stop now. Scoop, scoop, scoop. Just a few more carrots to load. And we're done.
Speaker 3:
[13:07] Yeah!
Speaker 2:
[13:09] I can dig it. Most of the carrots are on my fire truck.
Speaker 3:
[13:12] And we have a pot full of carrots that we can carry on my police 4x4.
Speaker 2:
[13:17] Woohoo! Hooray! PAWsome!
Speaker 3:
[13:21] You can ride with me and lead the way.
Speaker 2:
[13:23] Great idea. I'll follow behind you and Chase. And I'll follow behind Marshall. We can use our sirens to let everyone know that we're going fast.
Speaker 3:
[13:32] Are you ready? Let's buckle up. Now, when I say go, you press down on my pedal and open and close your hands to make my sirens go. Ready? Get set. Go! You're making my police four-by-four go so fast. I hear with my little ear Marshall's siren right behind us. I'm fired up! Now that we're on our way, you can use your hands to pretend to steer. Nice job! We're almost there. Keep pressing my pedal.
Speaker 2:
[14:18] Do you hear that?
Speaker 3:
[14:20] What does that sound like? That sounds like rides, music and fun.
Speaker 2:
[14:28] Hit the brakes!
Speaker 3:
[14:29] That sounds just like... The Adventure Bay Fair!
Speaker 1:
[14:36] And that's it for this year's Carrot Competition.
Speaker 3:
[14:40] Huh? No, we have to stop Mayor Goodway from ending the Carrot Competition. Come on!
Speaker 1:
[14:48] Thank you. And the winner is...
Speaker 3:
[14:52] We have to shout wait to get Mayor Goodway to wait. Are you ready? Three, two, one... Wait!
Speaker 1:
[15:03] Oh, Chase? What are you and the newest member of the PAW Patrol doing here?
Speaker 3:
[15:09] We have a bunch of carrots from Farmer Yumi that need to be in this competition, too.
Speaker 1:
[15:13] Um, where are the carrots? In order to participate in the Carrot Competition, you must bring all of a farmer's carrots to the fair.
Speaker 3:
[15:22] Here's some. Hold up the carrots to show Mayor Goodway. Oh, great!
Speaker 2:
[15:33] And I have the rest of Farmer Yumi's carrots in my fire truck.
Speaker 4:
[15:38] Oh, my!
Speaker 2:
[15:39] Help me scoop carrots off Marshall's fire truck. Use your hands and scoop, scoop, scoop.
Speaker 1:
[15:49] Wow!
Speaker 2:
[15:50] There are so many carrots! Nice job! Scoop the last carrot on the pile.
Speaker 1:
[16:02] PAWsome! Why, I've never seen such a big pile of carrots at this competition before. But how do they taste?
Speaker 2:
[16:11] Ooh, you have to give one a try.
Speaker 1:
[16:14] It's the moment of truth.
Speaker 2:
[16:19] So, what do you say?
Speaker 1:
[16:21] I say... I say...
Speaker 2:
[16:25] Uh-huh.
Speaker 1:
[16:26] I say we have a new winner for the Adventure Bay Carrot Competition. It's Farmer Yumi!
Speaker 2:
[16:33] Yay! Way to go!
Speaker 1:
[16:37] Here, Rubble, you can hold on to Farmer Yumi's first place blue ribbon.
Speaker 2:
[16:42] Wow! Do you want to hold the ribbon? I know you'll keep it safe while we drive. Here you go. Now let's take this ribbon and some of these delicious carrots back to the lookout. Brace you! You're on! We did it, team. Another successful rescue for the PAW Patrol. I spy with my little eye someone who did a great job saving the day. It's you. Thank you for helping me in the pups today. Hi, Farmer Yumi.
Speaker 3:
[17:33] Hello. Even though I was feeling sick, you harvested all my carrots and won the blue ribbon for me. Thank you, PAW Patrol.
Speaker 2:
[17:42] No problem.
Speaker 3:
[17:44] You saved Farmer Yumi's carrots. Oh, yeah. You did it.
Speaker 2:
[17:49] And we brought back a little treat for everyone else. Some carrots. Carrots? I love carrots. Dig in, everyone. Get it? Dig in. Thank you for helping out the PAW Patrol today.
Speaker 3:
[18:10] You did a PAWsome job.
Speaker 2:
[18:12] And whenever you're in trouble, just yelp for help.
